Closing Survey!

1. Which hour was most daunting for you? I think it was Hour 22 or 23. That’s when the power went out for about an hour or so. Sitting in the dark with just my candles and flashlight...it made it real hard to not just give up and go to bed. But I kept going! 

2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a reader engaged for next year? I really enjoyed Cat Out of Hell by Lynne Truss. It was only 156 pages and it’s a gothic style novel but it’s also kind of humorous too. Very quick read :)

3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next season? I think the Read-a-thon is already so great! And I appreciate all the hard work that goes into it! You guys do an awesome job! 

4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? I really liked that Instagram challenge that went on for the entire Read-a-thon. I would really like to do that (or something like it) again.

5. How many books did you read? I read 6 books. 2 novels and 4 graphic novels. 

6. What were the names of the books you read? -Cat Out of Hell by Lynn Truss -The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson -The Walking Dead Vol 16-19

(Disappointed I didn’t get to American Gods since The Kind Worth Killing took longer than I planned but that’s ok :))

7. Which book did you enjoy most? I really enjoyed The Kind Worth Killing. There were a lot of plot twists. At first, I thought it was getting a bit draw out but the very end made it sooo worth it!

8. Which did you enjoy least? If I absolutely have to pick then it would be The Walking Dead. They’re starting to feel a bit... repetitive. 

9. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?  This was my 4th Read-a-thon and, as always, I will definitely be doing it again! Probably just as a reader again.

Amelia and Lincoln have such great chemistry, the author did an amazing job portraying the kind of relationship these characters have with each other.
