Pulling out a folder of the case of the newest client Oliver had taken on, he shuffled through it, his eyes scanning over each line for the shortest of moments before tossing it back under his desk. Within a minute of that, the actual said client made her way into the office, and Ollie stood up to greet her. "Hey, hi, you must be Roxanne. First things first, I accept payment in Hot Pockets. The pizza kind, naturally, anything else is just blasphemy. Or if you somehow happen to have cash or credit, I guess it's fine. Actually, my credit card machine's broken. And by broken I mean, I'm broke and don't have one." With a shrug, he crossed his arms. "So, homicide in the fashion industry. Conspiracies. Very Zoolander, love it."

He squeezed out a smile here and there, some glances to the side where Cheyenne stood. Even mentioning romantic nights in, how well they got along with each others’ parents, what one did for the other’s birthday. Though, the truth is: none of that was actually happening. Joel couldn’t tell you Cheyenne’s favorite color to save his damned life. And Cheyenne couldn’t pick Joel’s mother out of a line-up of just 3 drastically different women. They had very specific guidelines for each other and they stuck with it. “Well, there you have it. The rumors are true and this pair of young starlets couldn’t be more in love.” The actor mustered up the most sincere blush he could as he shrugged, shying away from the camera as he thanked the interviewer for her question, stepping across the red carpet for the next interviewer in line. But before he reached them, he glanced over his shoulder at his business partner girlfriend, using a subtle gesture to let her know to make a surprise appearance in the middle of his next interview ( something they’ve had practice doing in the course of a few months ), building up the authenticity of something their managers called a relationship.
