So you had two asks about La Squadra being toddlers, but what about them being old/older men? Maybe in their 40-50's or as senile old people. And my mind ain't exactly wondering there, but what do you think they'd be like as dilfs?

I managed to find an old post where I was asked what they would be like as old man: here it is! You also reminded me that I had once written about them as parents in general, and I could have sworn I published it, but I ended up finding it at last in my drafts, so I'll make sure to queue it after publishing this ask!

That just leaves the question at the end, ehe... I will try to do these from the perspective of a young adult, probably a friend of their child(ren), while they themselves are in their forties and fifties.

Risotto: His sheer size and deep voice are already enough to set the butterflies aflutter, so the way he wears sleeveless shirts and dirty overalls at home is almost too much. He is best observed in the garage where he enjoys quietly working with power tools, and nobody can look at his work table without imagining him sweeping off the clutter to make room for them instead...

Formaggio: He ages so gracefully he looks like he could still be in his thirties, but the way he cracks open a cold one while giving clever responses and showing at least basic knowledge of just about any topic introduced hints at decades of experience in a variety of areas. Whenever he playfully manhandles his spouse in the kitchen, guests cannot help but chug their own cold beverages in vain.

Prosciutto: Never seen without his signature dress shirts and crisp trousers, and when he's around, the temperature always drops enough that all unnecessarily noise and frolic dies down. Most agree they would not want to live with him as their father, the bar is just too high in that respect, but nobody would mind him in a hotel chair with a bourbon in his hand and ordering them to get to work...

Pesci: At first he seems nothing special, especially because he's not much respected by his children, but as soon as he easily lifts something that he ought to struggle with at his size, and tells you how much he think it weighs by touch, the magic begins, and those who have gone on fishing trips with him on the weekend and watched him reel in that big bass are now smitten for life.

Ghiaccio: Whenever you meet him, he's either preparing to go for a run or has just returned from it all sweaty and glistening, and no real decrease of stamina to show for it. Going to the gym with him is a rite of passage; he will explain every machine and challenge you to various feats of endurance. Spotting is obligatory, and many hit the showers afterwards in greater frustration than they began.

Melone: That one anon ask of "your dad looks gnc af" sums him up perfectly, he is so impeccably and unabashedly A Look and An Icon that all his various issues are easily buried in a tidal wave of gender envy and lust. His children are so confident and well-educated when it comes to sex that their friends can only imagine what a wealth of experience could be gained from the fountain head.

Illuso: He always lets his luscious long hair down at home, physically and metaphorically, and exudes such minor soap opera antagonist vibes that his heckling his children and spouse come off as almost entertaining, a good example of how much people forgive to a pretty face and a nice tall figure. He's not above teasing his guests either, and you will either hate him for it or want to kiss him.

Sorbet: He's not conventionally attractive and seems to love his plants more than his children, but he has a certain Addams Family aesthetic about him that carries his dry wit and odd ways perfectly, especially when he's trimming his bonsai or is outside gardening in the shade in special gloves and up to his neck in dirt. You are welcome to indulge his obscure opera obsession, but watch out.

Gelato: That one extremely friendly dad that claps you on the shoulder and shoves a drink into your hand as soon as (and even before) you hit drinking age, and is always two seconds away from hugging you and kissing you on both cheeks in a fit of camaraderie and general mirth. Watching him grill sausages and cook in a big outdoor cauldron permanently changes your brain chemistry.

La Squadra and their favourite member of the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva boss cast ( considering is a crossover, they interacted at least once or they regularly see each other for plot reasons )

PART 1!

Risotto: Carmilla and Zestial

He may not be an overlord but Risotto is a heavily respected hitman and his services ( along with his team ) are often requested by Carmilla and Zestial themselves.

They usually talk about work but all 3 of them bond over the connection they have with their " family " and that they would do anything to protect them.

Carmilla's daughters are especially fond of him since he teached them the basics of self defense in Carmilla's absence, the overlord deeply appreciated that he took time to listen and find suitable weapons/combat style for her Clara and Odette.

Wine time between the 3 became a regular thing after some time~

Prosciutto: Stolas and Asmodeus

Prosciutto met the big guy Ozzie through his partner Fizzarolli ( Fizz had a show in Pride and was being followed by a bunch of creeps, so Prosci decided to help the imp hoping to get at least some type of reward....he did but definetly not the one he was hoping 🤣) and after being granted special VIP membership to Ozzie's second location in Pentagram city ( bear with me again, it's for plot reasons ) he was introduced by the Sin to Stoals as well.

The 3 of them bond over the fact that they always want to appear to their best and the high expectations people puts on them, their love for expensive stuff and the fact that all 3 are k*nky af.

So they meet in Ozzie's penthouse to chat and enjoy a good show (Asmodeus and Stolas also gave him a " i simp for imp " t shirt when they found out he was into imps as well lol)

Illuso: the Vees

Ok we talking about Heathers here....BUT WAY WORSE!!

If Illuso wasn't already part of the hitman team Vox, Val and Vel would have definetly asked him to join the V club but they all soon learned about his loyalty to the Squadra ( they lowkey respect that )

Vox asks the onryo sinner opinions about what trashy tv entartainment the mass needs cause Illuso is really quick on catching gossip; Val likes to party with him and they like to be the talk of the s*x clubs of the turf ( Valentino asked him to perform in some of his movies as well and illuso may have accepted...but no one knows in which one ) Velvette considers him a fashion icon, not as much as herself but definetly a close one! They love to make Voxtagram lives where they lay down the laws of what's " in " or not and loves to bully people online/on the runway durin vel's shows....so yeah these 3 together vibe but it's a nightmare for whoever is in their proximity

2am. Lets rate la squadra.

n1 is Risotto, personally I find his design extremely pleasing to look at both anime and manga wise, his ability more iconic than the bad it references, himself more iconic than risotto the food (because when I go to the supermarket and see risotto I think of him) and his fight extremely cathartic at the time (now u see me liking Doppio but back when I fucking hated him, so seeing him get his ass beat was awesome and left an impression.)

2 is Ghiaccio, his design is silly and I like it (big fan of his glasses), I LOVE that his stand is a fursuit and I love more that he's a perpetual motion machine fueled by deeply rooted anger issues, we should all love him more because he made dear Giovanna drive his car straight to a frozen lake like a fucking idiot. My biggest complaints is that we didn't see more of him, frankly... he also should've had waves.

3 would be(even tho I normally rate him the lowest out of principle) Illuso. What can I say about him? Not only do I wanna twirl his gorgeous brown pigtails and call him my beautiful queen but I also wanna hit him with wet cables; he truly is multifaceted. His fight with Abbachio was unforgettable in that it was almost straight up gay porn, man in the mirror also looks like a cute little flight captain bird and I think that's silly. This man is gorgeous and should've been at the club and not the mafia killing little autistic girls' big sisters.

4 is surprisingly Pesci! Idk, I just always felt bad about him and I think he deserves at least 4th place. I think that Araki wanted to draw a fat person properly with him but he didn't know how to do a double chin and ended up fucking it up badly as usual, and we got... whatever he is. His stand has a cute name, as a remark.

5th is Prostitute, better known as Prosciutto, who I frankly forgot about until halfway through writing this. You may crucify me over this but I thought he was kinda cute when he old man'd himself tbh. Idk I don't rlly have a lot to say about him except for the fact that I like old men and his ability is to make people old... he was very mean when he didn't have to be, like bro Pesci is already going thru enough by having nowhere where his face ends and neck starts, u don't have to do this shit to him...

n6 is Formaggio, I think he was too run of the mill for me, he was good as introduction and to get Nara to blow the city up but not for anything else. He's named after cheese and his ability is called Little Feet so he always made me feel a tad uncomfortable, plus his cut is ugly (tho I can say that about many of these other dudes too lol)

number 7 and last is Melone, not bc I have anything against him but because 1 his fight barely included him and 2 the most notable thing he did was get killed. I only remember the Babyface fight cuz Giorno was getting killed and Nara went hehe he's waving at us ^___^ Also atm I didn't rlly think much of it but he's kinda weird y'all r right, like not even in the good way...

Sorbet and Gelato R not included cuz we knew jack about them. Araki just wanted to bury some gays and he made them up ig... they're ok if I have to rate them, notably I did do the soyjak face when I was watching American Psycho and Patrick said Gelato... like that's one half of the JoJo guys my mutual in law likes..

Sorbet rarely, if ever, loses his cool (of course, it's just referring to him breaking his face), but when he does... It's legendary.

Do you remember the episode in Chain Saw Man, where Kobeni becomes convinced that Arai is in cahoots with the Eternity Devil, and shouts the famous "I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE!!!" at him? Just replace him with Kobeni, Arai with BJ, Illuso with Power the Boss with the Devil, and you have an iconic moment from Sorbet.

what are la squadra wearing for halloween when they're hitting the town?

Thank you for bailing me out, now's my chance to deliver late Halloween fun times! :D I'm actually going to go a number of ways here - I'm going to remind everyone of their costumes as depicted by that one official artist, and then add some of my own ideas!

Okay, so here's the art (had to hunt it down manually and scroll for half an hour but it was totally worth it):

And now I can give some of my own ideas!

Risotto:

Random costume: I feel like he's the perfect candidate for dressing as a Cenobite, since Metallica can help with any of the metal "accessories" like the nails on Pinhead.

Sexy option: I would love for him to dress up as a Pillar Man. Not even one of the few we know, just a generic interpretation of one.

Mundane Halloween option: "Man helping others reach the tall shelves at the supermarket"

Formaggio:

Random costume: I think he should dress up as a leprechaun, go to a party, and gradually shrink as people are getting drunk to mess with them. Bonus if he has a pot of "gold" to lead people to.

Sexy option: I feel like he should do us all a favor and take a crack at Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

Mundane Halloween option: "A guy who's dissatisfied with his haircut but cannot bring himself to tell the barber"

Prosciutto:

Random costume: This is too much in the vein of the art above, but I feel like he would make a really good Lestat from Interview With A Vampire; it's just an iconic and elegant look.

Sexy option: I want him to do the world a favor and go as Marilyn Monroe in that one white dress. You know the one.

Mundane Halloween option: "Project manager losing his mind over a tight deadline" / "Old man inspecting construction work"

Pesci:

Random costume: My first thought was that something like Conan the Barbarian would look good on him - just an excuse to really try on a different fur trim and show off his guns.

Sexy option: The random option is already halfway there, but he can't go wrong with a scantily clad wrestling outfit.

Mundane Halloween option: "A guy who had his order mixed up at the fast food place"

Ghiaccio:

Random costume: I envy him because White Album could technically make him an armored costume so he could go as a Pacific Rim Jaeger pilot if he wanted to and that's just magical to me.

Sexy option: Best option is probably dressing as a beach guard because he can flex if there's a pool.

Mundane Halloween option: "Jogger waiting in line at the store to buy mineral water"

Melone:

Random costume: This is such a random thought indeed but what if he went as a member of Daft Punk with a cool custom helmet that could emote for him (powered by Baby Face, perhaps.)

Sexy option: I feel like he deserves a slutty teacher costume and a hand pointer to brandish at people.

Mundane Halloween option: "A guy trying to dye streaks into his own hair at home"

Illuso:

Random costume: For him I would love something iconic like the Goblin King from Labyrinth (his Stand actually reminds me of the armored goblins from the movie.)

Sexy option: He would absolutely rock a Playboy Bunny outfit complete with high heels and his hair down.

Mundane Halloween option: "A guy who can't remember which pocket he put his keys in"

Sorbet and Gelato:

Lumping them together because they would want to match.

Random costume: I will die on this hill - they should go as Morticia and Gomez Addams, respectively, because I think they possess the energy required and it gives them leave to make out in public.

Sexy option: Imagine them dressing up as an extremely hetero couple from a romance novel cover and posing for pictures.

Mundane Halloween option: "Two guys who collided and spilled their drinks on each other"

Risotto: " Maurizio Costanzo Show "

Being surrounded by a variety of idiots ( yes even Prosciutto has his dumb moments ) Risotto likes to relax his brain watching an evergreen tv talk show by Maurizio Costanzo.

This old man, who Italy likes to make fun of because he literally has no neck ( and illuso jockingly calls poor Pesci like him) is basically one of the fathers of italian television and the cultured nature of the program itself, really helps Risotto relax and enjoy some quiet time.

Prosciutto: " Il commissario Montalbano "

Even if normally Prosciutto would avoid cops, or like he calls them " sbirri maledetti " he really likes the vibe of this detective story.

He actually relates to the protagonist ( Salvo Montalbano ) on many levels: his reserved personality, his relationship with women ( both are womanizer ) and his absolute distaste for people who interrupts other people's lunchtime with phonecalls (the first time he saw it happen during an episode, he jumped from the couch screaming " SI C*ZZO SALVO, DIGLIELO A QUEL M*NCH*ONE BACIANNICCHIA!! ")

So whenever his favourite sicilian detective is on tv, he likes to watch it with a cold beer and eating some " spaghetti alle vongole"

Illuso: " Uomini e Donne "

When it comes to drama, Illuso is the first one to enjoy it! And seeing young shallow people trying to find " true love " on a trash tv program really makes his day.

So with a face mask, coffee and his favourite pj he sits on his bed and evilly laugh at the rejects of the suitors, the tears of the girls and the banshee screeches of Tina Cipollari ( one of the show's regular hosts )

But what really makes Illuso an addict to this unbearable mess is the queen that reigns coldly over this chaos: Maria De Filippi. The woman, being also Maurizio's Costanzo's wife, is one of italian tv's overlords and is responsible for the majority of these type of entartainment ( Illuso has her autograph, is securely hidden inside his office)

Melone: " Il Grande Fratello "

Cameras, secrets, public display of the human nature on it's lowest levels and tons of pretty girls showering/ telling everything about themselves for the audience to see...You can't tell me this isn't Melone's sh*t!

He especially likes the 24h live where you can truly see the competitors forgetting about the fact they are on tv and display sides of them not only to their journey's companions but also to the audience creepingly spying on them 24/7

Melone takes notes about the girls he finds interesting and plans on going to the " meet and greet" after the program (or when a competitor is eliminated from the game) to ask them out/see if they are good " Babyface material"...1/3 usually they are but the rest of the team prefers not to investigate on his random trips to Cinecittà

Formaggio: " Incantesimo "

He is the last person someone can imagine enjoying a soap opera, and yet this roman man follows the romance and adventures of the doctors, nurses and lawyers of the " Clinica Life " in Rome like it's some sort of cult.

Formaggio is a passionate man, so he really gets invested in the stories and star-crossed lovers that makes his lonely afternoons more interesting; the rest of the Squadra often found him half drunk crying and yelling at the tv stuff like " NO LEI NON TE MERITA, PORCODDUE!" or " AMO' TE STA' A FA' 'NFINOCCHIA' DA QUEJA STR*NZA!!" and then passing out on the carpet..They have the decency to record the episode, so they don't have to deal with his whining about how he lost the occasion to see Agnese's " Occhi de fata "

Pesci: " Carramba che sorpresa! "

Pesci is a soft boi, and the maternal aura radiating from Raffaella Carrà ( bless her soul, she truly was an icon ) is a perfect fit for him! He watches her show after rough missions, bullying sessions from his collegues ( illuso and formaggio ) or in general when he is feeling down.

Seeing the happiness, the emotions, the genuine feelings of the people Her Royal Majesty Raffaella helps reunite and be together after years of being apart ( his faves are long lost lovers ) really melts his heart. So he goes up to his room with a warm banket and hot cocoa, locks the door and let himself be a sentimental 22 year old guy without the peer pressure ruining his fun

Ghiaccio: " Sarabanda "

Ghiaccio loves 4 things : his beloved red Mazda, go to a club and do c*ke while a str*pper with a particularly nice butt gives him a lap dance, beat up some random b*stards and Sarabanda.

Finds the announcer, Enrico Papi, extremely annoying but the whole vibe of the show is what he needs to let his fury filled brain concentrate on something else.

Having a big selection of cd and listening to various artists during his rides he easily guess the songs but finds it challenging (in a good way ) when he discovers a new song or artist during an episode; but if a competitor is slow at answering or straight up ignorant on the whole deal ( and Lord have mercy if they say things with the wrong pronunciation ) he starts yelling like he always does and starts cursing the whole Heaven population.

One time Risotto found him punching the table while yelling " LA BAMBA D*OCAN!!! COME C*ZZO FAI A NON INDOVINARE LA BAMBA MAD*NA P*TAN!!! TO SOREA VACA, COI SOLDI CHE VINCEVI QUI SI FA LA PORCOD*O DI SPESA 2 M*RDA DI SETTIMANEH!!"
