So

When Jason was being 'trained' by the LOA in a fit of Pit Madness he somehow manged to stumble upon a toddler Damian in the base when he fought his current 'teacher' and fell into Damian's own training room at the time he was training.

Jason, even in a Pit Rage episode and not yet fully 'trained' out of his Robin teaching and his own (deeply buried) morals of protecting children, see's a toddler being trained with a legit sword and see's some of the wounds and cuts the kid has on himself from the training. He does not take it well and in a fit, fights the other teacher and gathers Damian into his arms.

This leads to Jason, in half coherent and half Pit Madness, to try to escape with Damian in his arms and get the heck out of the League with assassins at his heels.

However the fight eventually ends up with them near the Pits itself and in a single wrong move the two fall in.

The two do not resurface.

When one of the Fenton siblings came down to clean the lab for the day when the protal suddenly flared up and for the lack of better words spat out a teen around their age and a toddler.

been thinking about the first time that charles would be an orb...

i feel like it's something that would happen so easily, like literally a week or two after edwin and charles meet. and when it does charles freaks out, because maybe he was alone but he literally became a ball of light and he was like "oh no oh no oh no something is wrong' but it felt right and he gets it in his head that he's being dragged to heaven by an angel or something or maybe that little annoying ghoul decided to hire a witch-hit-man and he was going to literally combust

anyways, it gets into his head that this is very very wrong™ but he best not worry edwin because this is also two weeks after they met, and charles is the kind of person who doesn't want to be a "burden" ("ridiculous thought," edwin says surely, "you are a mystery to behold, charles rowland." and charles knew, if edwin payne told you that you were a mystery? it wasn't long before you were unraveled. after years of hiding, charles wouldn't mind to be solved.) so he hides it.

then once they complete one of their first cases, charles gets really drowsy all of a sudden and then the light thing happens in front of edwin. and he's panicking but he awaits edwin's reaction. edwin looks at him and touches the ball of light carefully, and then he swoops him up and holds him. charles feels himself getting warmer, and edwin chuckles at the way that he gets brighter.

after a while of being calm in edwins arms, after relaxing over the idea that there is no reason to panic, he ends up doing little circles around his head and nuzzles against his hair and his arm and he rolls around his desk and he doe-
