Omnificent

 Omnificent is a new hip hop group from the DMV. College educated black men that are creative and a now looking to break out.

We got a chance to catch up with Mo Conteh one half of the two man rap/rb duo. Mo and I met at Morgan State and have been friends ever since. 

We interviewed Mo to get a feel for the up and coming duo.

Aisha- So Mo you know i gotta ask you all these questions for my hiphop assignment. Help me out!

Mo- Iight i got you

Aisha- So how did you meet the other half of Omnificent?

Mo- I met Chris in highschool, forreal thats my brother we been friends since we were kids.

Aisha- awwww thats so sweet.... 

Aisha- so where did yall get the name Omnificent from?

Mo- iight so that name means creating all things; having unlimited powers of creation. 

Aisha- so basically yall think yall are invincible. Like yall’s creativity cant be stopped?

Mo- EXACTLY....

Aisha- okay thats cool; I like it. 

Aisha- iight well where do you think Omnificent will be next year this time (February)?

Mo- We tryna get to Cali...like Aish everything is poiting us there, im just worried about my family. As far as where I think we will be, we boutta drop our first complete album and I really think it will make some noise nationally so definitely reaping the benefits of that while progressing and perfecting our artistry and working on some more dope music for the vibes 

Aisha- I know you keep talking about Cali. I think it would be a good look for yall and just make sure that all is handled on the home front before you dip. But Exes is really fire. I be playing it all the time.

Keep pushing, it will pay off my friend.
