A Peek at My Outline Process for The One True School Master of Vault 41
The largely non-spoilery page eight of my ridiculously long outline of TOTSMOV41 (81 pages and counting but with a lot of blank gaps and strange formatting). I don't know if anyone is interested, but essentially, this is an idea of what my inordinately-wordy brain-dump process looks like, usually before I settle on exact phrasings and flesh out scenes, and believe it or not: this is one of the cleaner pages.
And keeping things in chronological order is such a pain, haha. Serves me right because I started drafting chaotically in draft emails before I ever opened a proper Google doc. And I still haven't broken the habit, so now, I have an insanely outrageous grand total of 542 draft emails. Some have a few words, some are pages long, and not all of them are fic related, of course. At the very least, I had the good sense to label them at the time, but I've started opening documents instead, in hopes of forming a new habit.
Toshio Matsumoto: 'Everything Visible is Empty' (1975)
Everything Visible is Empty contains a selection of short experimental films, documentaries, and sound pieces from two decisive periods in the cultural history of Japan and frames them as pivotal in Matsumoto’s avant-garde filmmaking practice. Shown in near darkness, they reemphasize the urgency of his “visual spectacle” as an unnerving physical experience, and stressing the importance of the Happening as a radical form of art practice.

Unreasonably invested in the Gävle goat. Swedes, if you hear me - DO IT. DO IT. Let the chaos brain win. Let out your demons. Even if you get arrested (and remember, the legends of 2005 were never found), consider - you can say you burned the Gävle goat for the rest of your life.

You ever just have an idea burn into you? I've been obsessed with Hozier's 'Eat Your Young" since I first heard it and it just drove this imagery into my head. Had to wait months for pomegranates to come back into season. 🖤 🍂

the evolution from 'colourblind' being mentioned twice in CALM and the only colours being mentioned being the red of the desert, blue, black and white, to 5SOS5 and all of the colours it encapsulates, gold (inside, and shining), silver (linings and screen), violet sounds, cocaine white on a wedding dress, red of the train line, caramel, mentions of fire and sun (bleeding sun, staring at the sunshine, caving in, SUNRISE IN SYDNEY THAT'S BURNING FOR DAYS), diamond tears, yes there's 'blacking out in my room' but also the darkness fading out into gold at the start of the album
