Vee is a fox concealing himself in Khun Vad's fate, like the nine-tailed fox that possessed the consort Daji. Have you been watching Naruto again?

I'll be watching tonight's episode on Twitch but I am curious to see how things will operate on Beacon with it being a VOD rather than a stream, and potentially with the ad break cut out as well. While I can appreciate the intent & it is probably a whole other can of worms to host streaming [CORRECTION apparently the Daggerheart one shot was streamed live from Beacon - that's awesome!], I hope that over time they can figure out how to best sync up the initial airing between Beacon and their other platforms. Maybe stream first & drop the VOD right after. Call me crazy but I actually prefer the streaming experience with a mandatory break in the middle! And I enjoy all viewers being around the same timestamp so it's possible to peruse the main critical role tag without seeing something jumped ahead. And with the break cut out of the version on Beacon, it would be very easy in the second half for a block of viewers to be naturally 15min ahead even if no one is deliberately skipping forward. As such, I'll probably stay out of the cr tag tonight. Happy watching, whatever platform you're on!

Do you ever become hyper aware of the fact that you are existing now in this very moment, which was true yesterday, yesterday you lived consciously through every moment, taking in sights and experiences
Do you then think about how everything that is happening to you in this moment that is real and immediate is something you will almost certainly not remember? As is true of almost every moment experienced thus?

Images from the 1954 moving of the U-505 submarine to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
From the MSI website:
The U-505 arrived in Chicago on June 26, 1954, only to face another major hurdle: an 800-foot overland trip from Lake Michigan to the Museum. The task required extensive planning to cross Lake Shore Drive (now DuSable Lake Shore Drive) without destroying the pavement and tying up traffic. Engineers designed an elaborate rail and roller system to move the heavy sub out of the water and over the land. The city closed Lake Shore Drive the night of September 2, 1954 to allow the sub to cross. It took another week for the sub to complete its journey from the road to the Museum.

tell us about "sick day" for the ask game!
This is my sick!Jamie fic. Jamie tries to push through the flu to go to training without telling Roy.
Here's a snippet:
Roy didn’t let go of his arm the whole way back to the clubhouse. And instead of dragging him back to his office like he’d expected, he was guided in to the medical exam room. “Sit there,” said Roy softly, pointing at the exam table.
“I’m sorry, Roy.”
“Oi. You keep apologizing. What’ve you got to apologize for?” Roy frowned. “You’re sick. You didn’t do anything wrong.”
“I’m fine, really. I can play. I just need a minute.”
Roy scoffed. “If you think that, you’re fucking sicker than I thought. You’re fucking delirious.”
Suddenly it all feels like too much. He can’t tell if Roy is mad at him, he’s tired, and he really doesn’t feel good. The tears that have been pushing at the back of his eyes suddenly spill over, and he can’t stop his breath from hitching.
“Hey.” Roy’s voice is surprised, but his arms are sure as they wrap around him, and Jamie buries his face into his chest, letting the tears flow. Roy presses a kiss against his temple and holds him so, so tight.

OH, OKAY!" he is IMMEDIATELY up for it, lou got the depiction of a preteen boy down to a T
