PURE MARJORAM HYDROSOL
The same antibacterial and antimicrobial qualities that aid in skin regeneration can also benefit scalp health. Organic Marjoram Hydrosol penetrates the scalp pores and reduces dandruff. It also helps to keep the scalp clean by decreasing sebum production and excess oil. When used consistently, it inhibits dandruff recurrence and combats fungus and other microbial problems in the scalp. It is already widely used in the Middle East to treat skin allergies and infections. Its hydrosol offers the same benefits. Its anti-bacterial and microbial compounds can combat infection-causing germs and prevent their access to epidermal layers. It protects the body from infections, rashes, boils, and allergies while soothing inflamed skin. It is ideal for treating microbial illnesses such as athlete's foot, ringworm, and yeast infections.

Cherry blossom (hwanghyunjin)
You were so so excited for the festival you had started planning your outfit and your hair and makeup weeks prior, basically the moment that sweetheart of your boyfriend Hyunjin surprised you with tickets.
Some of your favorite artists where headlining and the weather forecast promised sunshine and mild, breezy temperatures which was just ideal considering you were going to be dancing and jumping and walking around all day and well into nightime, everything was just so great and promising.
Except you had woken up with an extensive breakout right across your cheeks. Hormonal acne was nothing new to you, you had been struggling with it on and off ever since you were a teenager and though a good skin care regime and being on the pill had over all helped improving the condition, sometimes your hormones just decided to be annoying and cause your skin to break out at the most random and most inappropriate times, today, the very early morning of the festival being one of those more inconvenient times.
You had taken your time waking up extra early and busying yourself with doing your hair and putting on your outfit first, trying to remain positive and looking up makeup tutorials on how to minimize skin texture and redness while you were spritzing leave in conditioner on the ends of your beachy waves. But eventually you had to start putting on your makeup and that's when all the positivity and good spirits flew out the window.
No matter how many layers of powder you had put underneath your foundation or how carefully you had tried to spot conceal, those pesky little zits were still very visible and very obvious on your face, and you just hated how they disrupted the appearance of your blush and highlighter, you looked rough and cakey and looking at your face  in the mirror so up close for a prolonged amount of time had started making you feel miserable.
You frown at the your very last attempt at covering up the irritated skin with green concealer layered underneath a peachy colored one and sigh frustratedly when it results in just a muddy smudgy mess that only enhances the texture of your pores, "I can't. I give up, I freaking can't", you bark, throwing your brush accross your vanity table only to watch it roll down the surface and fall to the floor.
"Darling have you seen my Versace black and gold cap?", Hyunjin pads quietly into your shared room, looking around rather confusedly, searching for his cap all around the place and stopping abruptly when he sees you crumpled on your chair with a sad look in your eyes and your mascara tears stained cheeks glowing with shimmering highlighter, "what happened?", he asks calmly, bending down on his knees so he's eye level with you.
"I can't go out looking like this, Jinnie", you mumble and he tilts his head to the side, his signature sweet smile gracing his lips when he hears your cute disgruntled voice, "you can't? I thought Euphoria style make up looks were all the rage! Aren't grungy glittery tears trendy these days?", you force yourself to smile just because he's clearly trying his best to make you feel better in the first place but still gently shake your head no," I meant that I can't show my face all covered in acne like this. I feel hienous", you confess, already feeling your eyes swelling up with big, watery teardrops as you cover your mouth with your hand, a loud sob managing to escape the barrier anyway.
Hyunjin sits on the bed before you, he pats your head repeatedly, letting you cry it all out while he subtly, silently tries to comfort you, his heart feeling increasingly heavy with your every sob.
In a split second he just scrambles from the bed and decides he can't take it anymore so he just envelopes you in his arms, "it's okay y/n, it's okay",he mumbles again and again and you can tell his sensitive soul is breaking for you, you can hear it in his shaky voice and the way his palms open wide and flat on your back, the way he holds you and rests his chin above your head, sniffling ever so lightly so you don't notice too much.
You two stay like that until you fully calm down, your face now a reddened blotchy mess, your eyes intensely shiny and a little swollen, Hyunjin carefully brushes your hair back and then uses his fingertips to dab away the fresh tears pooling at the corners of your eyes, his thumbs and pointer fingers tapping your cheeks until they're dry and mostly make up free, "I'm sorry you can't see what I see, but I think you're beautiful, I don't care about your little spots, I don't see them as a problem, honestly", he says earnestly, squinting his pretty eyes at you in that soft, endearing way you absolutely adore him for.
You quietly thank him and squeeze his hand, still sniffling a little bit, "I'm not... I'm not usually too bothered. This is all so silly, It's just - it's just that I wanted everything to be perfect, I wanted to feel free and happy and just enjoy our time at the festival without worrying about a thing but now I'm afraid everyone will look at me and make fun of my face".
"Screw them. Screw them, jagi. If they make fun of you for the way you look it only means they have very empty, miserable lives", Hyunjin grabs a few tissues and make up wipes and gently swipes them accross your face, not even flinching when he sees the angry skin finally poking through the layers upon layers of makeup, "we are going to the festival and you're going to feel so good, so so good I promise, acne is going to be the last thing on your mind. I'm not letting you miss out on all the fun just because you got a few spots overnight",he adds then.
He then pulls your chair forward and inserts your legs in between his so he can keep you still while he gently reapplies foundation on your cheeks and then dabs it with a make up sponge. You relax underneath his touch, him being a skilled artist makes you instantly trust his eye as his excitedly swatches a few of your blushes on the back of your hand so he can choose the best one.
You quietly sit there, smiling every once in a while when you see his concentrated expression up close while he patiently reapplies your make up for you. "Do you have any glitter? Any color, but I'd prefer if it was silvery or golden", he asks after a little while, rummaging through your vanity drawers, "I think I might have something in my beauty bag. Here", you hand him a little purse with a limited collection of colorful makeup and he takes out a little tub of silver loose chunky glitter.
"I have to put on so much makeup for work, cause I have to cover up all the signs of tiredness and exhaustion but sometimes it really does make me feel pretty, I think it helps me feel free", Hyunjin comments in a low, whspery voice, "my makeup artist once told me that makeup can't make miracles happen but it can be wonderful, and sometimes where it cannot conceal, it can make soemthing unwanted ... into something purposeful",he finishes, and with that he also puts down the brush he's been tapping on your cheeks, you see little speckles of silver floating in the air for a second.
And then Hyunjin turns your chair around so you're now facing the mirror: your reflection staring back at you barely looks real. Your cheeks are painted with vibrant cherry blossom pink that fades into a paler, toned down baby pink and white, highlited in white iridescent shimmer and dotted in a bunch of silver glitter that either covers your spots or sits right above them, the colorful sparkly blush and highlighter mix climbing up your cheekbones and fading into the crease of your eyelids sprinkled with the same glitter as well so that it looks cohesive.
You look stunning. You look like the art he paints.
Your first instinct is to physically throw yourself at him, engulfing him in the biggest hug as he giggles loudly and helps you settle onto his lap, "you like it?", he asks, smiling shyly, "like it!? JINNIE I LOVE It", you  scream excitedly, "you made me look like art, like one of your beautiful paintings", you whisper, and he smiles adorably, a little dimple creasing his cheek as he cups your face, "yeah that was the point! Now you see yourself like I see you!", he says softly and the look in his eyes his so tender you feel your insides quickly turning to putty,.
"Hyunjin you are an all rounder artist. You dance, you sing, you rap, you write songs, you paint, you draw, you take pictures, you play the piano, you even do makeup! Beautifully at that too! Is there anything you can't do?", you tease, lacing your arm around his neck, your fingers immediately tangling in his luscious dark locks as he pouts," I could improve at teaching you how to feel more confident", he replies nonchalantly, playing with one of the framing pieces of hair around your face, "but that's okay, we've got time. We've got all the time", he adds in a even gentler, tone, almost speaking under his breath as his eyes go dreamy just picturing you as his forever person.

Real Skincare Guide
Tumblr media
Level 1: breakouts, non-painful, a little scarring
Minimize your skincare routine, all you need is an oil cleanser (if you wear a lot of makeup) than a good foam cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Repeat the same routine before bed just without the sunscreen.
Wear sunscreen everyday!!!
Always apply more moisturizer than you think you need.
Drink a lot of water (2-3LT)
Get consistent sleep
Take a multi vitamins to balance your hormones. I recommend the One-A-Day Woman’s Vitamins (get a real pill cause the gummies don’t have enough iron)
Work on your stress (breathe work, meditate, journal, yoga, walks, going out with friends, therapy, etc)
Look at what body oils/shampoo/conditioner you are using. Could be your akin reacting poorly to something in there.
Level 2: consistant breakouts, acne, scarring
All the stuff for Level 1 apply.
Minimize your skincare routine and than slowly add back in stuff like hydrochloric acid and retinol. Having an elaborate skincare will just make your skin worse. First, focus on healing your skin barrier.
If you are a teenager, it just might be your hormones/growing pains. It will go away eventually.
Pimple Patches work and are especially good if you are trying to stop touching your face.
Wash your pillow cases every 1-2 weeks.
Try to sleep on your back.
If you pop a pimple than apply an antibiotic ointment.
No point in using anti-aging products if you are under the age of 25. It just won’t do anything for you.
Note that if you take in a lot of nicotine you will breakout. If you smoke and you have bad skin, it probably won’t improve unless you quit or lessen the dosage.
Level 3: painful consistent breakouts/acne/scars, redness, irritability, hurts,
Go see a dermatologist!
Acne is can be a real problem. If your acne is painful seek professional help.
If Accutane is recommended, than I would do it. Based only on the experiences of my friends, I have seen great results after a couple months. There are side effects and it is not for everyone but if a professional says you should than I might consider it.
No topical treatment is going to make those scars go away. You are going to need to laser resurfacing which is like this secret treatment rich people do to clear up their skin. It is expensive but really works. Beauty brands want you to think that the right cream can clear up your skin but if you have bad scarring you are only going to see real results with laser treatments
All of the above recommendations still apply
Your acne does not take away from your beauty or your worth as a human being. Remember that acne is normal and social media is fake.

I know this is wildly different from my usual art posts BUT I have wanted to make it for a long, long time, because I love sharing any knowledge that might help someone else. SO...
If you (A) don't want to spend more than 1 minute on your face routine, (B) don't want to completely change what your face structure looks like with makeup to have a consistent skin appearance and/or (C) have cystic/nodal/regular acne that just doesn't go away no matter what people tell you to do,
then I give to you:
My One Single Product 1 Minute Makeup Tutorial For People Who Don't Wear Makeup
In which I bravely show you my face to illustrate
Before and after on one of my "best" skin days:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's very likely this is common knowledge for a lot of people BUT I wish I had known it when I was in my teens and struggling with a severe skin condition I thought would eventually go away and never did.
[TLDR: It's a concealer stick that matches your skin]
No, having a skin condition doesn't mean you need to cover it. However, that doesn't mean it can't still hurt your self image, confidence, and relationships with people who give you unsolicited comments on it (because you want to throw them out the window).
SO HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED:
Tumblr media
A concealer stick, my preference being Covergirl's CG Smoothers. They're non-comodogenic and somehow seem to help with my acne, maybe just because covering it helps me not pick at it.
Now, I am the pastiest, whitest shade of white, so I use two shades: "Fair" for my face, which has more of a pink hue, and "Neutralizer" (wheeze) for my neck because it gets even less sun than my face, and is both paler and less pink.
You might be able to get along just fine with one tone if you don't get acne on your neck and chest or have a more even skin tone, but the most important thing is to get the shade that matches your skin tone as close as possible.
To do this, either look in a mirror in the most natural light you can find and hold up your hands and arms until you find a spot that matches your face the closest, then compare the makeup in the store to this. OR.... Just bring a little mirror with you to the store.
STEPS:
Tumblr media
1. Start with a clean face. (Wipe your face with a wet cloth if you haven't washed your face already that day)
Optional step 2. Put on a little moisturizer if your skin dries out and flakes, like mine does. I'm allergic to my cats so I use a medicated cream in place of moisturizer lmao
Tumblr media
3. Swipe the concealer directly onto red spots, scabs, or bumps, and rub it in with your finger making a soft halo that blends in with the rest of your skin.
...and that's it.
Tumblr media
You don't have to do your whole face. You're only adjusting the parts that stands out so they blend in and leaving the rest alone. Some days I cover a few spots, other days it feels like my whole face.
It can't always completely everything, but it makes everything much less noticeable. The shape of scabs may still be there:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It won't cover freshly bleeding wounds well, either... But it will cover the red skin around it:
Tumblr media
Like with any makeup, always remove it before you go to bed!!! With makeup remover or a cleanser! Cheap, unscented makeup wipes work great for me.
So yeah, I'm 30 and only just now started finally seeing improvement in my own skin because I did my own research and asked a doctor to try treatments for hormonal acne instead of all the antibiotic approaches, meaning I'm on spironolactone and thus also a mandatory birth control. But hey! It's something.
Having control over how my face looks helps my confidence and self image, like controlling how my hair or clothes look. I don't feel like I have to wear it any more than I don't have to wear my hair short, I just like it that way.
I also hope that this might be able to help guys too, or anyone else who feels like they're not "allowed" to wear makeup but still struggle with the look of their own skin, since the lack of any other product means you really don't look like you're "wearing makeup".
Anyway, long post over, time to flee 🏃‍♀️

Information on Testosterone Hormone Therapy:
As you prepare to begin treatment, now is a great time to think through what your goals are, as the approach to hormone therapy is definitely not one-size-fits-all.
Do you want to get started right away on a path to the maximum safe effects? Or, do you want to begin at a lower dose and allow things to progress more slowly? Perhaps your long term goal is to seek less-than-maximal effects and you would like to remain on a low dose for the long term. Thinking about your goals will help you communicate more effectively with your medical provider (an endocrinologist is the best way) as you work together to map out your care plan.
Many people are eager for hormonal changes to take place rapidly- understandably so. But it's very important to remember that the extent of, and rate at which your changes take place, depend on many factors. These factors include your genetics, the age at which you start taking hormones, and your overall state of health.
Consider the effects of hormone therapy as a second puberty, and puberty normally takes years for the full effects to be seen. Taking higher doses of hormones will not necessarily bring about faster changes, but it could endanger your health. And because everyone is different, your medicines or dosages may vary widely from those of your friends, or what you may have read in books or in online forums. Use caution when reading about hormone regimens that promise specific, rapid, or drastic effects. While it is possible to make adjustments in medications and dosing to achieve certain specific goals, in large part the way your body changes in response to hormones is more dependent on genetics and the age at which you start, rather than the specific dose, route, frequency, or types of medications you are taking.
While I will speak about the approach to hormone therapy in transgender men, my comments are also applicable to non-binary people who were assigned female at birth and are seeking masculinizing hormone therapy.
There are four areas where you can expect changes to occur as your hormone therapy progresses: Physical, emotional, sexual, and reproductive.
Physical
The first physical changes you will probably notice are that your skin will become a bit thicker and more oily. Your pores will become larger and there will be more oil production. You’ll also notice that the odors of your sweat and urine will change and that you may sweat more overall. You may develop acne, which in some cases can be bothersome or severe, but usually can be managed with good skin care practices and common acne treatments. Some people may require prescription medications to manage acne, please discuss this with your provider. Generally, acne severity peaks during the first year of treatment, and then gradually improves. Acne may be minimized by using an appropriate dosing of testosterone that avoids excessively high levels.
Your chest will not change much in response to testosterone therapy. That said, surgeons often recommend waiting at least 6-12 months after the start of testosterone therapy before having masculinizing chest surgery, otherwise known as top surgery, in order to first allow the contours of the muscles and soft tissues of your chest wall to settle in to their new pattern.
Your body will begin to redistribute your weight. Fat will diminish somewhat around your hips and thighs. Your arms and legs will develop more muscle definition, with more prominent veins and a slightly rougher appearance, as the fat just beneath the skin becomes a bit thinner. You may also gain fat around your abdomen.
Your eyes and face will begin to develop a more angular, male appearance as facial fat decreases and shifts. Please note that it’s not likely your bone structure will change, though some people in their late teens or early twenties may see some subtle bone changes. It may take 2 or more years to see the final result of the facial changes.
Your muscle mass will increase, as will your strength, although this will depend on a variety of factors including diet and exercise. Overall, you may gain or lose weight once you begin hormone therapy, depending on your diet, lifestyle, genetics and muscle mass.
Testosterone will cause a thickening of the vocal chords, which will result in a more male-sounding voice. Not all trans men will experience a full deepening of the pitch of their voice with testosterone, however. Some may find that practicing various vocal techniques or working with a speech therapist may help them develop a voice that feels more comfortable and fitting. Voice changes may begin within just a few weeks of beginning testosterone, first with a scratchy sensation in the throat or feeling like you are hoarse. Next your voice may break a bit as it finds its new tone and quality.
The hair on your body, including your chest, back and arms will increase in thickness, become darker and will grow at a faster rate. You may expect to develop a pattern of body hair similar to other men in your family—just remember, though, that everyone is different and it can take 5 or more years to see the final results.
Regarding the hair on your head: most trans men notice some degree of frontal scalp hair thinning, especially in the area of your temples. Depending on your age and family history, you may develop thinning hair, male pattern baldness or even complete hair loss. Approaches to managing hair loss in trans men is the same as with cisgender men; treatments can include the partial testosterone blocker finasteride, minoxidil, which is also known as Rogaine, applied to the scalp, and hair transplantation. As with cis men, unfortunately there is no way to completely prevent male pattern baldness in those predisposed to develop this condition. Ask your provider for more information on strategies for managing hair loss.
Regarding facial hair, beards vary from person to person. Some people develop a thick beard quite rapidly, others take several years, while some never develop a full, thick beard. Just as with cisgender men, trans men may have varying degrees of facial hair thickness and develop it at varying ages. Those who start testosterone later in life may experience less overall facial hair development than those who start at younger ages.
Lastly, you may notice changes in your perception of the senses. For example, when you touch things, they may “feel different” and you may perceive pain and temperature differently. Your tastes in foods or scents may change.
Emotional state changes
The second area of impact of hormone therapy is on your emotional state.
Puberty is a roller coaster of emotions and the second puberty that you will experience during your transition is no exception. You may find that you have access to a narrower range of emotions or feelings, or have different interests, tastes or pastimes, or behave differently in relationships with other people. For most people, things usually settle down after a period time. Some people experience little or no change in their emotional state. I encourage you to take the time to learn new things about yourself, and sit with new or unfamiliar feelings and emotions while you explore and familiarize yourself with them. While psychotherapy is not for everyone, many people find that working with a therapist while in transition can help you to explore these new thoughts and feelings, get to know your new body and self, and help you with things like coming out to family, friends, or coworkers, and developing a greater level of self-love and acceptance.
Sexual changes
The third area of impact of hormone therapy is on your sexuality
Soon after beginning hormone treatment, you will likely notice a change in your libido. Quite rapidly, your genitals, especially your clitoris, will begin to grow and become even larger when you are aroused. You may find that different sex acts or different parts of your body bring you erotic pleasure. Your orgasms will feel different, with perhaps more peak intensity and a greater focus on your genitals rather than a whole body experience. Some people find that their sexual interests, attractions, or orientation may change when taking testosterone; it is best to explore these new feelings rather than keep them bottled up.
Don’t be afraid to explore and experiment with your new sexuality through masturbation and with sex toys. If you have a sex partner or partners, involve them in your explorations..
Reproductive system changes
The fourth area of impact of hormone therapy is on the reproductive system.
You may notice at first that your periods become lighter, arrive later, or are shorter in duration, though some may notice heavier or longer lasting periods for a few cycles before they stop altogether.
Testosterone may reduce your ability to become pregnant but it does not completely eliminate the risk of pregnancy. Transgender men can become pregnant while on testosterone, so if you remain sexually active with someone who is capable of producing sperm, you should always use a method of birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Transgender men may use any form of contraception, including the numerous options available that do not contain estrogen, and some that contain no hormones at all. There are many contraception options that are long acting and do not require taking a daily pill. Transgender men may also use emergency contraception, also known as the “morning after pill”. Ask your medical provider for more information on the contraceptive and family planning options available to you.
If you suspect you may have become pregnant or have a positive pregnancy test while taking testosterone, speak with you provider as soon as possible, as testosterone can endanger the fetus.
If you do want to have a pregnancy, you’ll have to stop testosterone treatment and wait until your provider tells you that it’s okay to begin trying to conceive.
It’s also important to know that, depending on how long you’ve been on testosterone therapy, it may become difficult for your ovaries to release eggs, and you may need to consult with a fertility specialist and use special medications or techniques, such as in vitro fertilization, to become pregnant. These treatments are not always covered by insurance, and can be expensive. Uncommonly, testosterone therapy may cause you to completely lose the ability to create fertile eggs or become pregnant.
Risks
While cisgender men do have higher rates of cholesterol related disorders and heart disease than cisgender women, the available research on transgender men taking testosterone has generally not found these differences. Most of the research on risk of heart disease and strokes in transgender men suggests that risk does not increase once testosterone is begun. However, longer term, definitive studies are lacking. It has been suggested that the risk of other conditions such as diabetes or being overweight is increased by masculinizing testosterone therapy, however actual research supporting these claims are limited.
One known risk is that testosterone can make your blood become too thick, otherwise known as a high hematocrit count, which can cause a stroke, heart attack or other conditions. This can be a particular problem if you are taking a dose that is too high for your body’s metabolism. This can be prevented by maintaining an appropriate dose and through blood tests to monitor blood and hormone levels.
While available data are limited, it does not appear that testosterone increases the risk of cancer to the uterus, ovaries, or breasts. Because not all breast tissue is removed during masculinizing chest surgery, otherwise known as top surgery, there is a theoretical risk that breast cancer could develop in the remaining tissue. However, it can be difficult to screen for breast cancer in this tissue, and there are risks of a false positive test result. Your provider can give you more information about breast cancer screening after top surgery.
Cervical cancer is caused by an infection with the human papillomavirus, or HPV. HPV is transmitted sexually, more commonly by having sexual contact with someone who has a penis. However, people who have never had sexual contact with a penis may still contract an HPV infection. The HPV vaccine can greatly reduce your risk of cervical cancer, and you may want to discuss this with your provider. Pap smears are used to detect cervical cancer or precancer conditions, as well as an HPV infection. Your provider will make a recommendation as to how often you should have a pap smear. It is unclear if testosterone therapy plays any role in HPV infection or cervical cancer.
If your periods have stopped because of testosterone treatment, be sure to report any return of bleeding or spotting to your provider, who may request an ultrasound or other tests to be certain the bleeding isn’t a symptom of an imbalance of the lining of the uterus. Sometimes such an imbalance could lead to a precancerous condition, although this is rare in transgender men. Missing a dose or changing your dose can sometimes result in return of bleeding or spotting. Some men may experience a return of spotting or heavier bleeding after months or even years of testosterone treatment. In most cases this represents changes in the body’s metabolism over time. To be safe, always discuss any new or changes to bleeding patterns with your doctor.
Fortunately, since you do not have a prostate, you have no risk of prostate cancer and there is no need to screen for this condition.
If you have had your ovaries removed, it is important to remain on at least a low dose of hormones post-op until at minimum age 50. This will help prevent a weakening of the bones, otherwise known as osteoporosis, , which can result in serious and disabling bone fractures.
Most people using masculinizing testosterone therapy will experience at least a small amount of acne. Some may experience more advanced acne. Often this acne responds to typical over-the-counter treatments, but in some cases prescription medication may be required. Acne usually peaks within the first year of treatment and then begins to improve.
While gender affirming hormone therapy usually results in an improvement in mood, some people may experience mood swings or a worsening of anxiety, depression, or other mental health conditions as a result of the shifts associated with starting a second puberty. If you have any mental health conditions it is recommended you remain in discussion with a mental health providers as you begin hormone therapy.
Other medical conditions may be impacted by gender affirming hormone therapy, though research is lacking. These include autoimmune conditions, which can sometimes improve or worsen with hormone shifts, and migraines, which often have a hormonal component. Ask your medical provider if you have further questions about the risks, health monitoring needs, and other long term considerations when taking hormone therapy.
Some of the effects of hormone therapy are reversible, if you stop taking them. The degree to which they can be reversed depends on how long you have been taking testosterone. Clitoral growth, facial hair growth, voice changes and male-pattern baldness are not reversible.
Testosterone treatment approaches
Testosterone comes in several forms. Injections are usually best given weekly to maintain even levels of testosterone in the blood. Studies have shown that using a smaller needle and injection by the subcutaneous, or under the skin, approach, is just as effective as the intramuscular approach, which involves a larger needle injecting deeper into the muscle. In addition to injections, there are gel and patches that can be applied to the skin daily. The gel is applied to skin and once dry, you can swim, shower, and have contact with others. The patch also allows swimming, showering, exercise, and contact with others. All of these forms work equally well when the dosing is adjusted to achieve the desired hormone levels, and the decision about which form to use should be based mostly on your preference.
Another option for testosterone is the use of pellets under the skin. These are inserted every few months via a minor in-office procedure. Ask your medical provider for more information about this approach.
Recently, an oral form of testosterone, taken as a pill twice daily, has been approved for use. There are potential risks of high blood pressure when taking this medication, so extra steps need to be taken to monitor your health if you choose to use this form of your testosterone. Ask your medical provider for more information about this approach.
Regardless of the type of testosterone you are taking, it’s important to know that taking more testosterone will not make your changes progress more quickly, but could cause serious side effects or complications. Excess testosterone can result in mood symptoms or irritability, bloating, pelvic cramping, or even a return of menstruation. High levels of testosterone also result in increased estrogen levels, as a percentage of all testosterone in the body is converted to estrogen. In general estrogen blocking medicines are not used as a part of masculinizing hormone therapy.
Other medications that may be used include progestagens, which are hormones similar to or identical to those made by the body to maintain a balance in the lining of the uterus. These hormones can be used in cases where periods continue after testosterone levels have been optimized. These hormones can cause mood swings, bloating, and other side effects, so it is recommended that you discuss these medications further with you provider if they are to be used.
Final thoughts
And finally, please remember that all of the changes associated with the puberty you’re about to experience can take years to develop. Starting hormone therapy in your 40s, 50s, or beyond may bring less drastic changes than one might see when beginning transition at a younger age, due to the accumulated lifetime exposure to estrogen, and declining responsiveness to hormone effects as one approaches the age of menopause. Once you have achieved male-range testosterone levels, taking higher doses won’t result in faster or more dramatic changes, however they can result in more side effects or complications.
Now that you have learned about the effects of masculinizing hormone therapy, as well as risks and specific medication options, the next step will be to speak with your provider about what approach is best for you.

BTS Jeon Jungkook 2023 - 2024 Reading
Tumblr media
Health
Jungkook will try to focus on improving his health, but it will be difficult for him to break some bad habits. For example, he still has difficulty sleeping early. Sleep is a challenge for him and has been for many years. He may be relying on unhealthy methods to cope with not being able to sleep or to try to induce sleep. His diet can also be a challenge for him. It's hard for him to resist unhealthy snacks like ramen or chips or ice cream. He can sometimes use shortcuts to achieve the body/weight that he'd like, which will not be healthy for him in the long run. He's also the type to take supplements from time to time but then forget to take them after a while.
His shoulders and neck are particularly tenses these days. The bottom of his feet also are painful/sore. He has been dancing more these days and trying to bulk up. Jungkook has some digestion problems, possibly an inability to absorb some nutrients or inability to digest some food properly. This leads him to often have diarrhea or gas or stomach pain. He can also suffer from constipation when he avoids eating his vegetables. His sugar levels are also quite high as he consumes a lot of sugar-related products. He may have some chances of suffering from diabetes and also has chances of suffering from hormonal imbalances, causing acne to often develop. Jungkook's skin condition, while improving, will continue to be a concern for him. It's very easy for him to develop acne and whiteheads.
Jungkook sometimes has an issue with indulging in specific things of too extreme. For example when he gets obsessed with a type of food, he can keep eating it over and over again. He also can have trouble with drinking or overindulging in certain unhealthy things. His liver is not very good, so he should be careful.
His throat too is weak; there is a lot of strain on his throat. He can often suffer from sore throats or coughs. Some bad habits have also caused him to have these throat problems. He may possibly need to remove some part around his throat area in the future.
Love
Jungkook is most likely casually dating these days. He is not settled with someone in particular and prefers to explore his options. Jungkook is no longer that "innocent boy" that people think he is. He is more well-versed in love than what some fans may think. Jungkook is experimenting in love, meeting different people through his friends or network. He wants to try many dates or meetings. He's not interested in a long term relationship at this very moment.
Jungkook has a few people that he consistently sees but it doesn't mean he's exclusive to them. Some of these people understand that this is an open situation but others do not. This is where he will likely run into trouble, as some people expect full commitment from him. This is particularly difficult for Jungkook, especially given his current schedule overseas/his album promotions.
Jungkook isn't the type to baby/spoil/handhold someone. He's there for the fun/thrill/excitement and the wildness. If his partner can't keep up with his energy or need for thrill/fun, they will not get along. If his partner needs him to spoil or baby them, they will not work out in the long term.
Some of these people that he has casually seen/dated/met will find ways to try to spill the beans on Jungkook when they don't receive the love/attention that they want from him. They may leak intimate details about the relationship to the press/social media or even host some live to talk about an "idol" without dropping his name. They may also blackmail Jungkook and ask him to pay up. If he doesn't pay them, they will spill everything to the public, including photos/videos.
Friendship
Jealousy from others is on the horizon. A lot of Jungkook's so called friends are very jealous of him and will try to ruin his career in some way. Some of his closest/best friends will become so jealous of Jungkook that they will even sell his information to ssngs or the media or suggest Jungkook to do something that's not in his best interest.
Jungkook may also suffer from some trickery from some superiors. He will naively believe in them and later realize that he was scammed/used in the process.
Jungkook may also experience some backlash for hanging out with some people that the public find questionable. Some of his friends may also get into trouble/hot waters, which ends up dragging Jungkook into the mix.

Anyone know what hidradenitis suppurativa is? Something that’s 3x more likely to develop in woman and they have no idea why it happens. Could be an inflammatory response, hormonal, or immune system response, who the hell knows.
Average amount of time you’ll spend trying to get diagnosed is 7 years. This time can increase for WOC, especially black women who are also at a much higher rate to develop HS.
Many women with HS report depression, low self esteem, difficulty dating, chronic fatigue (your body is constantly fighting infection) and obviously pain. So basically if you’ve had chronic “ingrown hairs,” acne that can turn into boils or abscesses, chronic foliculitis, etc - I would really recommend looking up hidradenitis suppurativa. It is not infectious, but it is a chronic condition that isn’t going to go away. It does need to be treated or worked with so it doesn’t progress. If you have no way to get it treated, the most common washes to use are
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The blue bottle needs to be foamy. Buy a reusable foam pump and fill it with that. It’s cheaper than buying it pre-foamed. Told it doesn’t need to be foamy, some people report more success with the foam but really see what works best for you. Used as spot treatments to wash off. Make sure to moisturize after cause it will dry out your skin.
For prevention of new flares, every persons body is different. You may be experiencing them due to hormones, diet, stress, etc, or a mix. Many women show improvement after menopause. Some show improvement after a diet change (are you ignoring a sensitivity that you know about?). Some show improvement with smoking weed, some get worse with smoking weed. I’m actually sleepy and going to take a nap now so I’ll continue this post later if I remember anything.

PCOS: Understanding Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Introduction
PCOS, or polycystic ovary syndrome, is a common hormonal disorder that affects millions of women worldwide. It is characterized by the presence of multiple cysts on the ovaries, as well as a range of symptoms that can have a significant impact on a woman's quality of life. In this article, we will explore the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for PCOS, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of this condition.
What is PCOS?
PCOS is a condition that affects the female reproductive system. It occurs when the ovaries produce excess androgens, which are male hormones typically found in smaller amounts in women. This hormonal imbalance can disrupt the normal menstrual cycle and lead to the growth of small cysts on the ovaries.
Causes of PCOS
The exact cause of PCOS is unknown, but several factors may contribute to its development. These include:
Genetics: PCOS tends to run in families, suggesting a genetic link.
Insulin Resistance: Insulin is a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels. Insulin resistance occurs when the body's cells become less responsive to the effects of insulin, leading to an overproduction of the hormone and an increase in androgen levels.
Hormonal Imbalance: Women with PCOS produce higher levels of androgens and lower levels of estrogen, which can disrupt the normal menstrual cycle.
Symptoms of PCOS
PCOS can manifest differently in each individual, but some common symptoms include:
Irregular or Absent Menstrual Periods: Hormonal imbalances can cause irregular or infrequent menstruation.
Excess Hair Growth: Increased androgen levels can stimulate the growth of excess facial and body hair.
Acne: PCOS-related hormonal imbalances can lead to the development of acne on the face, chest, and upper back.
Weight Gain: Many women with PCOS struggle with weight gain and find it difficult to lose weight.
Fertility Issues: PCOS is one of the leading causes of infertility in women due to the disruption of the ovarian function.
Diagnosis and Treatment
If you suspect you may have PCOS, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional. A doctor will typically perform a physical examination, review your medical history, and may order further tests, such as blood tests or ultrasound, to confirm a diagnosis.Treatment options for PCOS focus on managing symptoms and reducing the risk of long-term complications. These may include:
Lifestyle Changes: Maintaining a healthy weight through diet and exercise can help regulate hormone levels and improve symptoms.
Medications: Birth control pills, anti-androgen medications, and insulin-sensitizing drugs are commonly prescribed to manage PCOS symptoms.
Fertility Treatments: For women struggling with infertility, fertility treatments such as ovulation induction or in vitro fertilization (IVF) may be recommended.
Conclusion
PCOS is a complex condition that can have wide-ranging effects on a woman's health and well-being. By understanding the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for PCOS, individuals can take control of their health and work with healthcare professionals to manage their condition effectively. If you suspect you may have PCOS, it is essential to seek medical guidance for a proper diagnosis and personalized treatment plan to improve your quality of life. Remember, early intervention and ongoing management are key to living well with PCOS.

Trenbolone Enanthate Side Effects on the Liver
Trenbolone Enanthate is a potent anabolic steroid frequently used by bodybuilders and athletes to enhance muscle growth and improve performance. However, its benefits extend beyond muscle building—it's also effective for fat loss. This blog will explore how to use Trenbolone Enanthate for fat loss, including dosage recommendations, cycle guidelines, and safety considerations.
Understanding Trenbolone Enanthate
Trenbolone Enanthate is a long-acting ester of the anabolic steroid trenbolone. Known for its powerful fat-burning properties, it accelerates metabolism and enhances the body’s ability to burn fat while preserving lean muscle mass. Unlike other steroids, Trenbolone Enanthate does not convert to estrogen, reducing the risk of estrogen-related side effects such as water retention.
Benefits of Trenbolone Enanthate for Fat Loss
Increased Metabolic Rate Trenbolone Enanthate boosts the metabolic rate, leading to more efficient fat burning. This helps reduce body fat percentage while maintaining or even increasing muscle mass.
Enhanced Muscle Preservation While it facilitates fat loss, Trenbolone Enanthate also protects lean muscle mass. This is particularly beneficial during cutting phases, where the primary goal is to reduce body fat without sacrificing muscle.
Improved Nutrient Partitioning This steroid enhances nutrient utilization, ensuring that calories are directed towards muscle growth and repair rather than fat storage. This makes it easier to achieve a leaner physique.
Recommended Dosage and Cycle Length
For effective fat loss, Trenbolone Enanthate is typically used in cycles of 8 to 12 weeks. Here’s a general guideline for dosage:
Beginners: Start with 200 to 300 mg per week. This lower dosage helps assess tolerance and effectiveness while minimizing potential side effects.
Intermediate Users: Dosages of 300 to 400 mg per week are common among those with prior experience. This range often provides a balance between effective fat loss and manageable side effects.
Trenbolone Enanthate has a long half-life, so it is typically administered once or twice a week. Consistent dosing helps maintain stable blood levels and ensures optimal results.
Stacking Trenbolone Enanthate
Many users stack Trenbolone Enanthate with other steroids to enhance fat loss and muscle definition. Common combinations include:
Trenbolone Enanthate and Testosterone Enanthate: This stack maintains stable testosterone levels while benefiting from Trenbolone’s fat-burning effects.
Trenbolone Enanthate and Masteron: Masteron is another steroid known for its fat-burning properties. Combined with Trenbolone Enanthate, it can result in a more defined and lean physique.
Trenbolone Enanthate and Anavar: Anavar, an oral steroid, complements Trenbolone Enanthate by further enhancing fat loss and preserving lean muscle.
Managing Side Effects
While Trenbolone Enanthate is effective for fat loss, it can come with side effects. Here’s how to manage them:
Cardiovascular Health: Trenbolone Enanthate may affect cholesterol levels and blood pressure. Regular cardiovascular exercise and a heart-healthy diet can mitigate these risks. Monitoring blood pressure and cholesterol levels is essential.
Hormonal Imbalances: Trenbolone Enanthate suppresses natural testosterone production. Post-cycle therapy (PCT) with medications like Clomid or Nolvadex is crucial for restoring natural testosterone levels after a cycle.
Androgenic Effects: Users may experience acne, oily skin, or hair loss. Managing dosages and maintaining proper skincare can help reduce these effects.
Note:
Trenbolone Enanthate is a powerful tool for fat loss, offering significant benefits such as increased metabolism, muscle preservation, and improved nutrient partitioning. To use it effectively, adhere to recommended dosages, follow a structured cycle, and be vigilant about managing potential side effects. Combining Trenbolone Enanthate with a healthy diet and regular exercise will enhance fat loss results and help you achieve a lean, muscular physique.

The importance of water on the human body
Water is crucial for the survival of all living beings on earth, and human beings are no exception. It is an essential element that our bodies require to function properly. Although it is often overlooked, it serves countless vital functions that aid in maintaining our health and well-being.
The human body is composed of approximately 60% water. This makes it clear that water is a vital component of the human body, and we cannot live without it. It is involved in the functioning of various organs and systems in the human body. Here are some of the critical functions of water:
1.Regulating Body Temperature
One of water's primary functions is to help regulate body temperature. The body's internal temperature needs to remain constant for various chemical reactions to occur optimally. Thus, a change in temperature can disrupt the body's functions and be detrimental to health. When the body's temperature rises when we exercise or are in hot environments, we sweat to enable our bodies to cool off. This sweating helps regulate our body's temperature, as the sweat evaporates, it lowers the skin temperature, and hence, the body temperature falls.
2.Eliminating Waste
Another important function of water is helping the body eliminate waste. Water makes up a significant component of various bodily fluids, including urine and stool. Water flushes out waste products, toxins, and unwanted metabolic by-products from the body through urine and stool. This helps keep our kidneys, bladder, and digestive system healthy and functioning appropriately.
3.Supporting Nutrient Transport
Water is important because it aids in nutrient transport. It is the primary component of blood, which moves nutrients and oxygen to the cells of the body. Water transports these nutrients while also removing waste and carbon dioxide, making sure our organs and tissues receive everything they need to function correctly.
4.Lubricating Joints and Tissues
Water is vital for the proper functioning of our muscles, joints, and tissues. It helps keep bones and joints lubricated, reducing friction and allowing us to move our joints more easily. Additionally, water helps maintain the elasticity of our tissues and joints, making them less prone to injury.
5.Reducing the Risk of Dehydration
Dehydration occurs when the body does not have enough water to function correctly. It is characterized by symptoms such as thirst, dry mouth, and fatigue, among others. Severe dehydration can be a life-threatening condition, and it is essential to prevent it by drinking enough water regularly.
6.Maintaining Healthy Skin
Water is essential to skin health. It keeps the skin hydrated, making it look and feel healthy. Adequate water intake helps prevent dry skin, acne, and other skin problems. Additionally, water helps the skin maintain an optimal pH balance, making it less prone to damage from environmental factors.
7.Supporting Cognitive Function
The brain is composed of approximately 80% water, making water intake essential to cognitive function. Water helps deliver oxygen to the brain, boosting focus and cognitive function. It also maintains the brain's structure and aids in the production of hormones and neurotransmitters.
8.Aiding Digestion
Water is necessary for proper digestion. Drinking water before and during meals helps the body break down food and absorb nutrients more efficiently. Additionally, water facilitates the movement of food through the digestive system, preventing constipation and other digestive problems.
9.Improving Exercise Performance
Water is essential during physical exercise, as it helps keep the body hydrated and maintain optimal performance. During exercise, the body generates heat and sweats to cool down. Drinking water before, during, and after exercise helps replace lost fluids, keeping the body hydrated and enhancing performance.
In conclusion, it is clear that water is essential to the human body's proper functioning. Its countless vital functions aid in maintaining our health and well-being, making consuming enough water per day an absolute necessity. Drinking at least eight glasses of water daily is essential for optimal health and wellness. With so many benefits of water, it is easy to see why it is the most essential nutrient for the human body.

Skincare brands are a bunch of misogynistic bullshit. They sell the idea of "perfect skin" as the goal, of which their idea is unachievable for most people and they know it.
Taking care of your body shouldn't be mixed in with all these weird standards... I have naturally oily skin and am prone to acne, especially at a certain point of my cycle (hormonal acne?? Idfk) and it would make my skin picking urges worse + they were painful. My doctor prescribed a topical clindamycin and i got otc niacinimide and it seriously reduced my acne and picking urges by consequence and all that.
Anyway that to say, wearing sunscreen is great, not because of the Horrific idea that you might look older if you don't wear it, but because it prevents burning and literal cancer. Retinoids (including retinol but there's more than that) have medicinal purpose, since they increase cell turnover in the skin (usually used for acne), but most people like it for getting rid of fine wrinkles, which is medically unnecessary. Vitamin C can help repair sun damage and heal your skin faster if you get a cut or acne or whatever else gets through your skin, but it's used for... you guessed it, getting rid of dark spots and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid improves skin hydration which can help with ezcema and conditions like rosecea, but its used for... wrinkles. Moisturizing your face can help improve your skin barrier, you know, that thing that keeps particles and bugs and bacteria from entering your body. But why is it touted? So that your skin LOOKS bouncy and so that you dont DARE look old one day.
Like all of these ingredients have use beyond cosmetic, a lot which are used for medical conditions and specific, solvable (or managable) problems. Almost no one needs a routine with all of these items, but taking care of an issue of which there is an easy chemical solution to shouldn't come packaged with all of these sexist messages that you must be keeping yourself pretty and young looking all the time.
I just feel like these things shouldn't come with pretty packaging and promises. In an ideal world, they should be packaged like an otc medication with dosage and use case info, to be used by people who will actually benefit from them instead of people on instagram with a blurring filter on who tell people if they don't slather 7 different products on their face every day and night they might look their age.
Buying one product you need once and using it until it's gone isn't expensive, what's expensive is buying entire skincare routines you were shamed into getting and stopping using it the next day or week or month because you never had purpose for it in the first place, then starting that over again once you see an influencer talking about a new one... it's so pointless. It exists to get people to spend their money.
Idk I wish we could just take care of our body for the sake of taking care of our body.

Hi <3 Idk if you remember me but I'm the anon that send you an ask about feeling terribly ugly and suffering from body dysmorphia. You and another user wrote some lovely words and advice and again, thank you. I just wanted to update you: turns out the reason I felt so horrible was because during that week, I took out my IUD and went hormone free for the first time since 14. I must have been experiencing some weird hormonal hurricane. I have suffered from severe body dysmorphia in the past but that was between ages 16 and 20 - I've mostly been over it. But I was so shocked to experience that feeling of self hatred and digust with myself again after so many years. I felt so hopeless and doomed, as if the world was ending and I need to accept that I am somehow disfigured. It sounds almost ridiculous now that I'm typing it out.
I feel much better now once my hormones have regulated a bit. I can't even get back to the mindset I was in when I sent you that ask. I guess I'm sending you this update also as a word of caution? Don't get me wrong, I am still a big supporter of BC but damn I was not prepared for the deep black emotional hole I briefly fell into once I got my IUD removed... it really makes me wonder about the type of person I would have been during my teens if I wasn't put on hormonal BC just because of acne and painful periods...
Thank you for the update!! I’m so happy you’re feeling better!!
I know lots of women when going off, or switching, or trying hormonal bc, they experienced a very similar change in their mood that really effected them. It’s definitely something we should talk about because while hormonal bc is a great option, it’s not the only one (and there’s so many choices of hormonal bc to boot!) and I see a culture of pushing it on women early and for every reason under the sun. We need to take it very seriously and be open about the side effects. It’s disappointing to see doctors treat it like a magic pill instead of extremely strong hormonal prescription.
In a perfect would, the medical industry would also constantly be improving our options and improving hormonal bc. I don’t think it’s the priority. The care and understanding that different women with different lives need different things, doesn’t always seem to matter to everyone in health care.
But at least by being honest about our experiences, we can help fill in the gaps and better prepare other women to make the right choice or at least ask questions when with her doctor.
