Its so weird that I have been sitting on this ask since yesterday and I can't think of any. Like when someone asks you about you favorite movie and you draw a blank. Lol.

Anyway hc time

Dazai doesnt have sh scars under his bandages. He wears them because he is touch repulsed. Very few people are allowed to touch him skin to skin and even then he needs to be the one to initiate the contact. (Feel like sh scars goes against his hates pain thing).

Dazai is not actually an orphan.

Chuuya's apartment is a mess. It went from being an unattended minimalistic nightmare in sb to a trinket filled eclectic disaster because following the death of the Flags Chuuya started hoarding everything anyone gave to him. A lot of the stuff in his apartment are things he took from the Flag's possessions.

Dazai and Chuuya used to give each other hair cuts. Dazai at one point cut too much off and gave Chuuya a bald spot and Chuuya retaliated by giving Dazai a terrible bowl cut.

Post sb Dazai was actually staying in Chuuya's apartment. Mostly on the couch but sometimes they'd share the bed on bad nights.

Dazai is a better cook than Chuuya but only if he wants to impress someone. Otherwise he's happy to eat chicken nuggets dipped in chocolate sauce.

Chuuya likes fancy food but can't really cook well. He has a habit of forgetting that he put food on the flame and crashes a lot out of exhaustion. Baby needs to rest.

Dazai has a fixed time when he breaks in just to turn the stove off.

Chuuya knows Dazai breaks into his house often cause Dazai shifts all his furniture by 1 mm and causes Chuuya to bang his toes and knees into everything.

Dazai once managed to convince everyone in Chuuya's building that the 22 year old Chuuya is actually a sad runaway child living all alone.

The little old lady across from Chuuya thinks Dazai is his doting husband cause they keep refering to eo as partner.

They have movie nights.

Dazai has ruined Titanic for Chuuya.

Dazai hates the fact that Chuuya is smarter than him when it comes to physics.

“We’re gonna have to jump!” You heard the red head yell at you before grabbing your hand. The ship you both were on was currently fixing to explode and your previous exit was already in shambles. You looked over at chuuya in shock but before you could say anything in response, another explosion from the other side shook the floor. He darted to the edge of the deck with you trailing behind him.

“C-chuuya wait!! I can’t-“ you were cut off by the excruciatingly loud sound of disaster behind you as the firey blast pushed you both over the edge. Chuuya tried to grab a hold of you before you were thrown any further away from him but you were just too far. You screamed his name before plummeting down into the sea below.

The salt burned your eyes as you tried to desperately paddle to the surface. You kicked your feet and thrashed around as much as you could yet you only decended further down. Debri could be seen falling into the water above, but you couldn’t spot chuuya anywhere. As the last bit of oxygen in your lungs started to fade away, you prayed that chuuya would save you.

You were about to lose consciousness before a pair of hands grabbed you from your under arms and pulled you up. You and chuuya gasped for air when you broke through the surface. With a steady grip on your torso, he swam you both back to the power boat you had used earlier. You had been captured and used as a hostage to get to the port mafias leader. Chuuya decided to take it into his own hands and rescue you.

“Your telling me, that your one of the top executives of the port mafia and you don’t know how to fucking swim??” Chuuya yelled at you as he drove the boat back to shore. You coughed and hacked up what felt like gallons of salty water “Bite my ass chuuya I tried to tell you until I was rudely interrupted” you replied through large gulps of air.

“Yeah yeah whatever just be glad I saved your ass.” You both didn’t say anything after that. The only sound that could be heard was water splashing in the distance and the boat you were on gliding through the waves. “Chuuya?” You said quietly trying your best to avoid eye contact “thank you.. for saving me..”

He looked back at you before his cheeks turned red. Your wet hair framed the sides of your gorgeous face and your cloths stuck to your body making some of your cloths see through. He quickly turned his gaze back to the waters ahead of him before clicking his tongue. “Don’t mention it..”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Chuuya takes care of himself! And he’ll take care of you!

He’s already been having spa days before meeting you, so the first time you mention needing one he already has a plan laid out

Chuuya’s usual place to chase relaxation is a typical hotel with a spa built into it

The staff know him well enough, and greet the two of you at the door. While he’s a little upset that there’s no co-ed bathhouse, it’s all worth it when you come up to him afterwards and bring his cheek to your lips

You two move onto the massage area, holding hands as you both lay down on the beds

While waiting for the masseuses to arrive, you turned to Chuuya in your relaxed daze

“Thanks for this babe, I uh— had an awful day. I really needed this today.” You smile loosely at him, and you feel his thumb run over your knuckles

He moves up just enough to see your beautiful form, “I’ll do anything for you y/n, don’t forget that”

You both leave the spa with all tension and stress alleviated, and you take a moment to just rest on his bare chest before going to sleep

Chuuya’s snores fill your head as you tap your fingers along his body. Taking a deep breath of the now lavender smelling room, you smile to yourself and nuzzle into him more

Spa days are date nights and whatever you two decide to do, you bet you’ll come out of it relaxed af

Tachihara

DIY SPA DAYYYY

You two find a 5 minute crafts video on top life hacks to achieve the perfect spa day

It takes Tachihara a while to get on board, as he wants to set himself up to be a manly man who don’t need no spa day

but everyone needs one at some point in their lives uwu

I’m sorry but it ends up being a fucking disaster

His apartment barely has half of the ingredients necessary to complete the tasks you want to do, so you resort to substituting literally half of them

Your DIY face scrub ends up looking more like cookie dough and some how smells burnt?

His bath tub is barely big enough for one person, and the romantic couple bath you dreamed of is gone

Tachihara laughs his ass off as you attempt to salvage what you created, your failed crafts providing a little too much entertainment to him

However, even he knows boundaries. As he goes to make fun of you again for screwing up your candle mixture, he sees tears stream down your face

Instantly, Tachihara forgets all previous failures and goes to comfort you

“I-I just wanted to spend a nice day with you, you asshole!” You lightly punch his sholder, attempting to bring him away

He can’t stand the sight of you in tears and strikes up an offer

As an apology, Tachihara takes you to a public bathhouse, as well as taking you to a restaurant afterwards :3

Junichiro

Naomi is the one that sets the whole day up

Having received one of those home spa kits that you find at TJ Maxx from Dazai [who didn’t know what to get her at all for Christmas], she decided to plan out a day for her and her brother

Of course, she extended the invitation to you as well. Coincidentally, you also received the same kit from Dazai too [turns out he bought all the women in the office the same gift]

Junichiro is the only one not dressed in a fluffy robe, and he tries to assure you and Naomi that it’s fine if he can’t participate

You pull him back however, begging him to take part in the spa day

With the two most important women in the world to him begging him to stay, how could he possibly refuse?

Naomi helps you and Junichiro put on your masks, and you’re tasked with helping your boyfriend put body cream all over his figure

After Naomi gets out of the bath, you and Junichiro take her place

By then, he’s decked out in an avocado clay face mask, hair tied up and out of his eyes, shoulders covered in body scrub, and he’s smelling like mint. You’re relatively the same way

As you two get in the bath, you assist each other in washing off all the product

He’s feeling great

“Hey Y/n”

You perk up, stopping the scrubbing of his back

“Thanks for today,” and with that, your boyfriend turns around and kisses you, pushing you into the tub

You would squeal if his mouth didn’t cover yours

Though you both would like to continue, Naomi is waiting outside :3

Twain

Okay so a spa day with Twain is sort of like a spa day with Tachihara, except things actually go moderately well???

Don’t get me wrong Twain knows nothing on relaxation, but he’s really into creating his own masks, candles, scrubs, etc.

Due to this, you end up with a lot of extra spa goodies

Most of the fun that day comes out of your little DIY session with your boyfriend

When it comes to the actual ‘spa treatment,’ it’s hard to keep him still

He’ll splash water at you in the bath, complain about the temperature, and attempt to eat the face mask he made

Twain is shoving snacks into his face, getting crumbs all over you and him

It’s really hard to catch relaxation with him around

Eventually he’ll get puckered out and just fall asleep next to you

Then you can finally enjoy all the goodies you two made together uwu

But you should get him out of the bath before he ends up looking like a prune

These are bad I’m sorry babs >.< The only one that could be considered a real spa day were Junichiro and Chuuya’s because they actually got their shit together lol. Also is it Junichiro or Junichirou? I’ve seen both

So something I should establish right now is that in this au, Mori isn't as horrible as he is in canon, bc otherwise this ot3 would crash and burn in the first 5 minutes. Instead of being a horrible little man and an unrepentant abuser, he's more along the lines of 'disaster bi meets refined trash goblin'. Side note, I cannot understate how much I love the term 'trash goblin'. Mori being a somewhat better person in turn makes this au a slightly better place than canon. 1/

Things stay mostly the same, except that the PM and Agency are on better terms with each-other. The reason Ranpo is so willing to sell his services to Atsushi for a ring pop is that he doesn't actually know much about Ami or the AMF adventures, beyond 'strong shouty nun who made Natsume-sensei cry (from her complete lack of diplomacy) once'. Atsushi has agreed that in addition to the ring pop, he will also share some of his prime blackmail. 2/

This means that Atsushi and Ranpo are suddenly relieved of nearly all their duties, and shoot to the top of the PM's 'no harm' list. Fukuzawa and Mori know that if any of their misadventures get out, they'll never be able to restore their reputations. This leads to fun conversations like Atsushi: I'm going on a date with Dazai and Chuuya Fukuzawa: YOU ARE NOT- Atsushi: I am, or I'll tell everyone about the time you got so drunk you cried about how cats don't have opposable thumbs 3/

Ami, Mori, and Fukuzawa are all different flavours of disaster-bi. Ami is the rare disaster-bi that evolved into a functional-bi (but still backslides on occasion). Fukuzawa looks and acts like a distinguished-bi but is always 1 problem away from crying. Mori is, to put it politely, the hum trash-fire to end all trash-fires. Natsume-sensei is the poor unfortunate distinguished-gay tasked with making sure these idiots didn't get themselves or each-other killed.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

I wrote so much more than I even thought I could write, no kidding. I’m still thinking about that word count and crying.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?

Considering that in January I hadn’t even watched the anime/read the manga, BNHA! I never thought I’d get this invested in the series and more especifically, in TodoBaku (but I’m glad I did!).

What's your own favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?

I will never stop being proud of Wandering Wolf. Writing it was a really comforting yet challenging experience, and it holds a special place in my heart.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?

So many! Especially ever since I started writing TodoBaku, I started aiming for longer fics with a little more plot, instead of the moment-focused drabbles I was used to. It has helped me become more confident in going deeper into the character’s feelings, exploring how they react to different situations; it’s also been a challenge to figure out pacing and worldbuilding. Through many mistakes, I feel like I’m slowly learning to improve on those things.

I tried writing smut, something I had told myself I’d never attempt again lol And I feel like my attempts actually turned out half-decent, motivating me to keep trying to improve on that aspect of my writing.

I gave another try at multichapters, too, and managed to finish my first fic of that kind that was being posted as I wrote it, and not all chapters at once like I did for the AkaYona Big Bang last year. It was a journey that took months but I never felt more fulfilled than when I finally posted that last chapter. 

Your best story of this year:

Wandering Wolf. I feel like my writing was at its best for this fic.

Your most popular story of this year:

what really matters (considering hits/kudos on AO3). I actually never expected this story to be so popular, especially because it was only my second try this year at writing something with an Explicit rating, but I’m glad people seem to enjoy it so much!

Story of yours most under-appreciated by the universe, in your opinion:

Huuh, I guess Shatter, my Soukoku fic. I’m really proud of that one but it barely got any attention (maybe because it’s the only story I’ve ever written for the BSD fandom lol).

Most fun story to write:

Operation: TodoBaku?. I had so much fun writing TodoBaku from the perspective of other Class 1-A students, as well as coming up with their shenanigans and trying to fit some humor into it :’)

Story with the single sexiest moment:

Silver Lining, when Bakugou is touching Todoroki’s wings for the first time. I just have a thing for characters with wings, okay. 

Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:

I don’t... think there was anything like that? My stuff is pretty tame lol worst thing I wrote was MCD and there wasn’t even any detailed description of anything.

Story that shifted your own perceptions of the characters:

Hmm, Wandering Wolf, I think. I had to do a lot of thinking to fit the characters into the universe I created, and then make them develop as the story progressed - and that involved thinking a lot about Todoroki and Bakugou’s core traits and what makes them who they are regardless of canon.  

Hardest story to write:

My current wip - everything we (never) planned. It’s hard to make my writing style work with the genre and it’s a more complicated plot than what I usually write, so that has been a challenge, too. I’m having fun with it though!

Biggest disappointment:

Your Hand in Mine. It wasn’t a disappointment as in I didn’t manage to convey what I wanted - the fic turned out exactly like I’d planned - but I just regretted ever writing it. I’ve even thought of deleting it multiple times, but decided not to. 

Biggest surprise:

Silver Lining and Wandering Wolf! I was so excited with both AUs, and really afraid I wouldn’t be able to do them justice. But both stories developed so well and writing them was so much fun, I’m very proud of the finished works. And they were both extremely well received by my readers, which was the biggest surprise of all and made me incredibly happy.

Most unintentionally telling story:

Just Listen. The entire thing is me projecting myself onto Kirishima lmao

Fic-writing goals for next year:

Finish my current WIP and my ideas for BakuTodo Week. Do my best to write a great piece for a zine (!!) I got accepted into. I also have a rather ambitious project I want to work on that will involve mixing my writing with graphic design.

And this is more of a personal goal, though it’s still related to fic writing so I suppose it counts: stop obsessively comparing myself to others and hating myself and my writing whenever I don’t measure up to them. Stop depending on numbers so much. It’s something that’s been hindering me a lot these past few months to the point where I have to force myself to write because it’s almost like constant writer’s block.

Despite the ups and downs, I feel like this was an amazing writing year for me. I’m proud of what I achieved with my writing, and it has improved a lot even if I have a hard time believing that most of the time. I’m thankful for all the support I’ve gotten and for you lovely readers who always interact with me or my content in one way or another. Y’all are the real MVPs ❤

Osamu Dazai

If you haven’t already, meet Osamu Dazai, past Demon of the Port Mafia and current agent of the Armed Detective Agency. Let’s explain him a bit, shall we? I’ll be using a lot of help from the BSD wiki, just so you know~

Basics:

Osamu is a suicidal maniac, but we all love him. Because of this, suicide will be a large part of this blog. 

He has an ability called “No Longer Human”, where he can nullify the abilities of others with a simple touch. This ability is always active, and he can’t turn it off. All he needs is skin contact to completely turn off someone’s ability, and after he pulls his touch away, their power is inactive for another 2-7 seconds.

Appearance:

As the BSD wiki states, Dazai is a handsome male with mildly wavy, short dark brown hair and narrow dark brown eyes. His bangs frame his face, while some are gathered at the center of his forehead and fall just above his eyes, sometimes hanging over his orbs. He is quite tall, standing at 5′11″ (181 cm) and slim in physique. For his attire, Dazai wears a long sand-colored trench coat, the belt of which he leaves untied. Under it is a black vest over a striped dress shirt that is light blue in hue. He wears a bolo tie, which is held by a brown ribbon and a turquoise pendant. He also dons beige pants, dark brown shoes, and has bandages wrapped around his entire body; only his face, hands, and feet are left uncovered. The reasons for the bandages are yet to be discovered canonically, but I have my own theories which will be stated below.

Back when he was in the mafia (or in his Dark Era Verse), Dazai wore a dark trench coat that reached under his knees. He also wore bandages over his right eye and his right arm is in a sling. At some point, he was able to regain the use of his right arm, as evident when he was 18 in the anime. 

Personality:

Dazai’s true personality is hidden from view, only those very close to him knowing the real him. He hides behind a funny and cheerful mask at the ADA, but on the inside he is lonely and in constant mental and emotional pain.

Osamu is a very mysterious and intelligent man, and he never tells anyone his plans until he deems it necessary. He is secretive and manipulative when working, willing to kill and injure others in order to get his way. However, he still cares strongly for his teammates. His plans are all very clever and well thought out, his intellect matching even the most dangerous of the ADA’s enemies, but he acts as if these plans of his were nothing much.

When he isn’t being serious with a case, he seems very lazy and goofy. He does whatever he wants, opting to walk around town or find new ways of suicide instead of doing his actual work.

He is a suicide maniac, as stated before, and often tries to commit suicide in comical manners. However, while his suicidal tendencies are initially comedic, they reveal a truly dark deep hole that Dazai has and believes he cannot fill. 

Back in the mafia, he was much colder and darker than he is now. Thanks to joining the ADA, he is now humorous and playful, as well as having developed a soft side.

In the past, while he was still suicidal, it was shown to be far less comedic. He really tried to die many times, but somehow, he could never actually succeed. He believed he could fill this hole and find a reason worth living for if he lived a life of bloodshed and war, but Oda convinced him to join the good side. In addition, he was extremely brutal and methodical, setting up traps to catch captives alive to torture the of information and often beat Akutagawa for disobeying orders and in order to push him to the limits to improve his abilities. He was extremely confident and was a terrific planner, coming up with long run strategies to subdue his enemies. 

Past:

Here’s where things get different and mostly headcanon based...

Dazai was an orphan like Atsushi, and was beaten and ridiculed like the weretiger as well, but less harshly since Dazai’s ability was hardly as costing as Atsushi’s. However, his torso is still littered with scars from his childhood, which is why he wears bandages on his torso as well as everywhere else. At the age of 13, Osamu ran from the orphanage. He survived for a few months on the food he scavenged from the orphanage and the scraps he managed to find on the streets. 

After a year of living on the run, Osamu grew tired of living like this and saw no point of living anyway. Humanity disgusted him, the world was cold and uncaring. And as a child with nothing but a hatred for the life he was living, he saw no problem with ending it all.

So, he fell from the top of a ten story building. However, he landed on a bush that was acting as landscaping for the building, which cushioned his fall but scraped up his body. He tumbled from the bush onto the ground, breaking his arm in the process and leaving him bleeding and tortured by his own pain.

Osamu was found by Ōgai Mori, a doctor at the time, who took him in as his protege. When Mori killed the boss later that night and became the boss of the Port Mafia himself, Dazai was there as his only witness.

Osamu quickly became the youngest executive of the Port Mafia, becoming an executive at merely 16 years old and being a living legend within the underworld of Yokohama. He was partners with Chuuya and became the “Criminal Underworld’s Worst Enemy”, and earned the title of Twin Dark.

Dazai fit in perfectly with the evil Port Mafia, and was ruthless in his methods. So how did he become a good guy? His closest friend, Oda, requested on his death bed for Dazai to join the good guys and become someone who saves people. And so, he did as Oda wished and left the Port Mafia. He was 18 years old.

For two years Dazai went into hiding to cleanse his records before he joined the ADA, which was suggested to him by Taneda Santouka. His friend Ango helped him in this endeavor, and he soon joined the ADA. It is said that during those two years, Dazai was a drunk who spent most of his time in his favorite bar. 

Dazai’s entrance exam was the Serial Disappearance of Yokohama’s Visitors Case, which he completed with his now coworker, Doppo Kunikida.

Misc:

He is a major goofball and loves to mess with people. This includes Chuuya, any of his coworkers (especially Kunikida), and in some cases, his enemies.

He is a huge flirt and will flirt with anyone, even a trashcan (probably). He is a huge bi disaster, but he rarely ever feels anything when he flirts. However, if he knows someone and actually does have feelings for them, it’s hard to tell if he actually cares or is just playing them. Even he doesn’t know for sure.

~ı ċåṅ‘ṭ Ŀıṿє å ṅọŗṃåĿ Ŀıғє; ı ẇåṡ ŗåıṡєԀ ɞʏ ṭһє ṡṭŗєєṭṡ~ [Beast AU] — To be honest? I know VERY little about this AU. It’s the light novel, right? I’ll read it and update this later lol.

~ı‘ṃ jȗṡṭ Ŀıҡє ʏọȗ!!; ʏọȗ‘ŗє jȗṡṭ Ŀıҡє ṃє!!~ [Twin Verse] — This verse is specifically for other Dazai rpers who, like me, LOVE twin AUs?? Osamu and Osaka (my Dazai) were the Demon Twins of the Port Mafia before they left. Never separated, always humorous, these twins love causing havoc and joking around with each other. They may no longer be demons of the Port Mafia, but now they are tricky little imps in their own way. Chuuya and Kunikida, beware~ When it comes to a twin verse, my “twin” will have the same backstory as yours unless stated otherwise. This is to prevent confusion with differing headcanons and backgrounds. 

~ẇє‘ṿє ɞєєṅ ṡƿєṅԀıṅɢ ṃọṡṭ ọȗŗ Ŀıṿєṡ Ŀıṿıṅɢ ıṅ ṭһє ɢåṅɢṭṡå‘ṡ ƿåŗåԀıṡє~ [Dark Era] — This takes place in the time between Dazai being 14/15 to 18. He’s an executive of the Port Mafia, partners with Chuuya, and training Akutagawa. Not much else to say here.

~ı ẇåṡ ṅєṿєŗ ŗıɢһṭ ғọŗ ṭһє һєŗọ ṭʏƿє ọғ ŗọĿє; ı åԀṃıṭ ıṭ~ [MHA Verse (Osamu)] — In this verse, Osamu is a teacher at UA. He wasn’t always a teacher, as he used to be a leading part in the infamous villain group/mafia, the Port Mafia in Yokohama. However, he left the Port Mafia because a dear friend wished him to, and made his way to the leading hero school in all of Japan, UA, to become a teacher. Of course, no one but him knows of his past... He is now the teacher of 3-A in the hero course. (Read more here!)
