Okey something I realised when I got my eyebrow pierced:
Heavy got not one, but four eyebrow piercings. Which A, god damn he’s lucky to have the anatomy for that. And B, ow, like really ow.
I look like I’ve been poked in the eye with a branch, because eyebrow piercings are prone to bruising. And the bruises last for a good while too. It’s been like two weeks and I’ve still got a bruise. Granted I’ve managed to smack myself in the piercing like ten times, which probably doesn’t help, but still.
And I only got one. Heavy got fucking four. So he should look like someone beat him the hell up for like weeks after that. Because I do not believe he manages to not smack himself repeatedly in the brows, the bruises should REALLY show too. Cuz apparently I’m lucky according to one of my friends on how little I’m bruising.
Oh and another thing. Right after the piercing it took me like an hour and a half to actually manage to move my eyebrows, because I was subconsciously being careful of them.
Like Heavy should not be all smug in the car, he should be vaguely in pain and be trying to move his eyebrows, that are probably swollen. And Glam would probably be nagging him about touching them with his dirty hands. And then for a few weeks he’d have to use concealer on his eyelids, cuz those bruises spread and kinda move around.
Not to mention that he probably would not be healing the piercings with the ones Glam gave him, because usually piercings places give you extra large jewellery to accommodate the swelling.
Anyway.

I've been thinking about watching My Personal Weatherman, so someone just tell me--is the weather-dependent sex a mood thing or a laundry thing? Because I think the laundry thing is weirder.

Carlos: I’m not a doctor I’m a medic. Mal: What’s the difference then? Carlos: Well doctors actually save lives, medics just make you feel more comfortable as you die. Diego: Note to self; never get shot.

I’ve only been rebloggjng the past few days, mostly because I’ve been busy and I probably will be this month until the end of summer.
I wasn’t really thinking about accuracy regarding anatomy, so if it looks weird that’s probably why.

YouTube Recap, what is up with this?
I'm not sure why it reported only these bands, since my stats on last.fm show differently (albeit it is 1000% correct about Stray Kids).
So I am very much side-eyeing YouTube Music. I think it prioritizes new releases as well as YouTube video watches and not everything I upload to my library**. I don't deny that I watch a lot of K-Pop videos, but it lists the Studio Choom videos as part of this recap. I mean...what? That shouldn't be considered as part of YTM. It's not in my library.
Usually, I put my uploaded collection on random (64,800 mp3s/425 GB, all purchased* because I don't rent music), so it doesn't repeat that many songs/bands in a row, unless I put it in a playlist.
Anyway. I think last.fm is way more accurate, even if it has an incredibly loooooooong tail for me.
Here is my last 365 days on last.fm.

*mostly in CD or vinyl format, although that is becoming frustratingly less available nowadays
**I can't scrobble from my car and usually stick to playlists there, so I bet that explains some of this. But I put less than 1000 miles on my car in three years, so it doesn't really make sense.

Two of the most ferocious beasts of the antediluvian age, the mighty Megalosaurus and the terrifying Tyrannosaurus, confront one another in a bout of territorial antagonism!
In reality, of course, Megalosaurus lived around a hundred million years before T. rex, but this is supposed to be a tribute to old outdated reconstructions of dinosaurs (hence the tyrannosaur’s upright posture and the megalosaur being a quadruped).

great post is located here
The New York Magazine article by Max Read goes much deeper, asserting that the people are fake, the businesses are fake, the content is fake, our politics are fake.
Read notes that “studies generally suggest that, year after year, less than 60 percent of web traffic is human.” Some years, “a healthy majority of it is bot.”
At the core of this is advertising fraud, one of the most profitable criminal enterprises in the world, generating tens of billions of dollars a year. That’s the view of Dr. Augustine Fou, cybersecurity and ad-fraud researcher who released a Slideshare presentation on LinkedIn describing the state of digital ad fraud.

Can we acknowledge how eye-opening Achilles and Patroclus’ stay on Mt. Pelion was for the boys?
*On the way to Chiron’s home*
Patroclus, thinking: Achilles waited for me… and he called me his companion. His companion.
A little later on Mt. Pelion:
Achilles, thinking: I wonder if my mother can see us up here?

The class: YAY, I love that movie
Me in the back of the room: (Stay calm, just don't correct them, it's not that hard, you can do it)
Me 2 minutes later: *slamming my head into my desk*

Just saw the Trailer for ‘65′ and.. Yep, exactly what I thought. Jurassic Park same-face syndrome.
Ft. exaggerated, ugly pop-culture dinos being used. The better for Hollywood to bathe their posh suits in millions of bucks from a Jurassic World dime-a-minute franchise, which, once again, depicts dinosaurs as the typically cliched ‘monsters’ in a predictable ‘action-packed’ story instead of behaving like real animals.
Dinosaurs were not bloodthirsty monsters like films portray. Honestly, ever since Prehistoric Planet came out with more accurate looking dinosaurs, Hollywood interpretations like this just look like crap by comparison.
