Sunshine Getaway is a psychological horror game set in the 90s in southern California. You play as Rien, a struggling ex-detective who begins to get ads for a “mental health resort” called the Sunshine Getaway. He decides to go there, hoping that it’ll put him back on his feet, but he soon finds that the place is hiding something truly terrible.

Sunshine Getaway: Act 1 is now fully released! 3 semesters and 2 summers of work have now finally paid off...

I've been playing Pentiment (check out my liveblog @earlgraytay ) and it is making me want to make a game I am affectionately calling "Don QWOPhote".

In Don QWOPhote, you play as a young nobleman who has just come back from a war, burdened by PTSD and social anxiety. You're coping by pulling characters from your favourite books into your mind to advise you on what to do.

....the problem is, the little bastards can't agree on anything. The Knight wants to die in a heroic blaze of glory, the Knave wants to sneak up on your foe and kill them first, the Damsel wants to scream for help, and the Philosopher is vainly trying to point out that that is a windmill.

Your mission is to get the Council to come to some kind of consensus about what you are doing. Unfortunately, ordinary life does not stop while you are bickering.

It's been a long journey for both TeamANPIM and the process of getting it on Steam, but we made it!

It's exciting to be able to achieve such a big milestone, let alone on our 10th Year Anniversary! The timing couldn't have been more perfect! I can't believe it's been 10 years since we started... It did start off as a team, but people got busy and/or it wasn't a priority for them, so I decided to continue myself, which is perfectly fine, but who knew I would be able to grow TeamANPIM into something of this caliber! TeamANPIM has become a regular in the annual Yuri Game Jams, and people actually look forward to our new games every year, which is insane!!!! I'd like to thank all our supporters that enjoy our games! I know I mentioned that I would be slowing down, and I think that's still true (most likely, but who knows), but I really do hope to continue creating more and more yuri stories down the line!

Now that (some of) our games are on Steam, we hope to reach out to even more yuri fans, and feeding the need for yuri about adult women! I might be a little nervous, seeing that more eyes on our games will definitely mean more criticism and/or hate, but hopefully we can grow from it and strive to make even better games in the future!

Thanks to Quill Yuri Studios once again for making this happen! They've put in A LOT of work into this! They've been a big help and patient with my busy schedule, which I appreciate so much <3
