hello !! i’m lex, 28F, est. i’m currently on the hunt for long term writing partners via discord. i am not new to the roleplaying world and have been doing it since the days of myspace. i am a very literate writer but understand that not everyone has the time for super long replies !! so, i will match your length !! i am also aware that we all have lives / things going on (i have been a victim of it the last two weeks 😅) so don’t be afraid to tell me if you don’t have time or the muse to reply right now and we can do something different or just talk. i, like a lot of people, have severe anxiety so sometimes my mind gets at me and it takes me a little bit to get the nerve to answer you back because i don’t want to annoy you. that being said, i want to be friends ooc! tell me all the things you’re thinking for our characters and about how you’re going to go get tomato’s from your aunts garden. i am extremely easy going and chill, this is something we all do for fun and to unwind and to distract our minds and i want it to be that and a safe space for both of us 💕

that being said, i do play any gender but am looking for someone who will double with me. quite frankly, i love to play both my males and females and i feel like for everyone to be fair and have fun doubles is the best way to go!! i primarily rp ocs. i have never dabbled into fantasy / supernatural writing so if that’s what you’re kind of looking for i may not be the gal for you and that’s okay!! but, i mostly do write romance with a lot of angst and conflict. i have read some dark romance but not sure if i would be good at writing it (but we could explore if you want!)

i love to world build. let’s have 5 different ships that all have pintrest boards and playlists and they all know each other within the little world we make. i am always reading so always coming up with new plots to world build too!!

Hello! This is my first time looking for a fandomless roleplay so bear with me.

Taking place in medieval times, (whether it's the real world or a fantasy one is up to us). My character is a young prince who's only months away from becoming king, since his father is quickly growing sick from a fatal illness there's no cure for. He's the second child, therefore his older brother received all of the training and education needed to inherit the throne. However, the raging war with the kingdom at the other side of the sea takes his brother's life unexpectedly, and the prince finds himself having to take a position he's not prepared for.

Your character is the prince's (my OC) third wife. Betrothed as an act of alliance between hers and his kingdom, she's a gentle heart who's deeply afraid of leaving home. She knows marriage of convenience rarely involves love, however it's no secret that the prince has never been kind to his former wives, which makes her uneasy. The princess spends her days locked inside her palace with nobody to talk to but her trusted maid, away from home and family and facing the horrors of this new kingdom, its illnesses and wars. She doesn't live with her husband and only rarely sees him, however, unexpected events might pull them closer than they expected in the midst of tension and personal suffering.

There's much more to it, but I wanted to keep it simple! If you're interested, then I'll tell you more about the plot and the characters. Even if this is an MxF roleplay, I ask of you to be LGBT+ friendly. We can build the world together and I am perfectly fine with adding secondary characters to the story!

I am not a big fan of smut, so don't expect a lot of it. I also wouldn't like to include dead dove themes. Ideally this would be a rather soft and angsty roleplay, focusing on both characters finding comfort in one another while surrounded by chaos. I haven't watched House of the Dragon, however I've seen some edits, and I had Aegon II and Helaena in mind as face claims for these characters. As for their dynamic, I did take some inspiration from Queen Charlotte and King George, if you've watched the show! I hope to hear from you. 😊

rp plot desires: i am suddenly so obsessed with hurt&comfort romance.

i just wanna write all that good shit of hands tracing over another's body, viewing each mark and kissing it again & again, their lips lingering with a soft intakes of air. so jagged and so heavy and so full of emotion when they see their scars... each breath, each look, each touch is so wrought with love & obsession. and they exude a desperate hope that maybe, one day, a thousand kisses will finally add up to weigh more than the pain? they hope one day that the hold of those marks, that pain, the sadness which haunts their other half will be conquered and banished... all they want is for happiness to be their person's and only theirs because nobody could deserve it more than their beloved.

it's the flex of another's fingetips as it etches across the tapestry of their skin, they lean forward to call each mark "a battlescar,". those marks that the person they love defines as flaws, but for them it's always only a sign of strength, of a time where they wished so dearly that they could've known and helped the one they love. that mark, the tremble of the bones– those things never equate to weakness. they're a reaction, a sign that they should do more and that you're still you. i kinda love the idea of what one finds ugly & broken about themselves being this something that only inspires a rapt, neverending devotion in another...

a whole, 'i could never not love you' thing. 'the world was unkind to you, so i'll be even better, i would fight anything for you.' and 'i'd do anything just to see you smile'. that kind of love is both beautiful and wildly dangerous. it's fascinating because this love errs between exceedingly selfless and overwhelming obsession. it's all because the result of their passionate love for a singular person is the formation of a a dire hatred of the world that hurt them in the first place. there's so much that could be explored because it's not idyllic affection, but it isn't something repulsive or unrelatable either.
