What would happen if in the middle of the Fulcrum au Ingo just turned back into a normal dude

some scraggly stranger comes running up to Irida in slightly-too-large clothes, shouting excitedly, and it takes her a moment to recognize those clothes as Ingo's. Which is alarming to see on a Human Man. but then she remembers the slightly-too-small clothes Ingo had appeared in, and the silver hair and eyes, the characteristic frown even in his excitement, his voice-- albeit slightly higher pitched and smoother-- it was all unmistakable. Lots of confused shouting back and forth until Ingo calms down enough to try and explain.

(Not that he really knows much more than Irida. All he knows is that suddenly he was Like This. And though he still has no memory of before Hisui, something he hadn't even noticed finally settled down in him, a wave of relief as a strange tenseness vanished, as he went (back?) to his human form. that Familiar But Wrong feeling of his half-pokemon form vanished into only familiarity.)

Comic 1:

First panel, Ingo and Akari are standing together. Someone off-screen asks “oh, is that your dad?”. Akari has an awkward smile and replies “oh, no no. he’s my...” There’s a long pause as she looks at Ingo. He’s leaving it up to her. She finishes, “He’s my coworker... friend... guy.” In smaller font, she continues “yea. that.” Comic 2: A dramatic panel of Volo, looking pissed off, shouting “who are you to interfere?!!” Ingo tugs the brim of his cap lower. The upper half of his face is in shadow, while his eyes stand out. He looks threatening but has his expression is his characteristic neutral-frown, and he says “...I’m her coworker friend guy.”. In the final panel, Machoke is throwing an incredible amount of punches, a reference to Star Platinum from Jojo. Ingo is pointing with one hand, his battle pose. The background text reads, “What does that even mean??” Volo is experiencing off-screen violence.

Comic 3: The comic is titled “Reunion”. In the first panel, Ingo shows off Akari, with a faint smile on his face. She is labelled “best girl (assigned by god)”. He says, “Emmet, this is Akari, my coworker. She’s the reason I was able to return to this station.” In smaller font, Akari comments to herself, “ooh... so this is the man in white.”

In the second panel, in smaller font Ingo notes “I think I remember now...” He says, “Akari, this is Emmet. He's also my coworker.” Coworker is underlined. Emmet is crying in the background, looking confused, conflicted, distressed, and happy. He says, “Brother...?” In the final panel, we see a framed photograph of all three together. Underneath are the words, Employee of the Month. Akari is dressed as a depot agent, and she and Ingo pose with peace signs. Emmet is red faced from crying, but he’s smiling widely. He looks happy.

Hello again!

Well, now I'm posting these out of order lol...But here is my belated entry for the prompt Protect!

As soon as I read the prompt, I was struck by the image of Ingo bravely protecting the main character. (I, too, am a fan of the "Duncle Ingo" concept haha).

I'm not exactly sure of the story here (ambiguity is fun!), but it looks like Akari had a bad run-in with a Zoroark. She's lucky Ingo found her! (Don't worry! They'll be okay!).

I originally wanted a shadow of the threatening Pokemon looming onto the rocks behind them, but I wasn't able to figure out how to do that. So, I decided to try to make some fun ghost flames instead and threw in the Zoroark claws. But now I think the paws look kind of silly. (They kind of look like bear paws...). Oh well.

I'd like to color this one day! I definitely want the ghost flames and Ingo's eyes to pop! I imagine his eyes shine in a very cool manner in dramatic moments.

This is the first finished Hisui Ingo drawing I've made so far. Drawing both older and young ingo has made me appreciate their designs more -- it's amazing how a few tweaks in style can make a fella with a simple design look a bit older!

About the Aspects Au, you said that Akari and Ingo have a father/daughter relationship, so does she return to the future with Ingo? If so, what's the Unovans reaction to her? Also, how does Ingo feel about Clay?

So the thing about them returning to the future is that neither of them chose to return. Ingo didn't want to at all and Akari was working towards getting back. She returned first, After fighting with Arceus and winding up with a piece of the god pokemon on her team she wound up attacked by a furious Volo still pissed about her beating him and was mortally wounded.

That piece of Arceus managed to pull enough power to send her to a time with better medical advancements to save her, her time. It wouldn't be able to do that again.

For Ingo, as far as he knew his daughter died and they never did find the killer. He lived in Hisui for another 17 years before being forcefully thrown back to the future in the last space time distortion.

As for Clay, it's weird. He likes the guy but it's so hard for him not to see the young man he helped raise.

The Pearl Clan witnesses Ingo mourning the memories he just can't seem to recall. The Diamond Clan witnesses Emmet concealing the past that he fears would alienate him. Both groups are aware that something is suspicious, but don't know how to approach it when considering all of the other strange things currently occurring within Hisui and the interests of their individual clans.

Akari forms separate bonds with both brothers as she investigates who they are and what they mean to each other, but will it be too late to bring them back together after months of secrecy and poor communication? Or can Ingo and Emmet's brotherly bond endure even through hardships beyond what they ever could have imagined before?

H2 returns to wander to find more machines to destroy and components to use for replace his failing part. His system is failing him again and there are less and less androids carcasses to rob from.

Before he can even think of a solution, a particularly aggressive machine blocks his way and attacks him in the desert.

After the battle, the software malfunction causes him to start seeing... strange things, which he doesn't have an explanation for. The battle and the malfunction tho, take away the last bit of energy he has left and collapses in the sand.

In the distance, a strange machine observes and decides to save him.

Her name is Akari, and is a strange machine that forgot what it means to be a machine. So, she just lives like she thinks humans would. She is kind and has a lot of knowledge of many things. In particular, she helps H2 changing the parts of him that stopped working. Apparently, it wasn't just the software the problem.

Akari asks to H2 a favor in return: help her to find her lost memories to understand what is going on with the stairway and why it calls to her.

H2 reluctantly accept and Akari rejoices.

I had been making cleaner images for PMD Ingo and Akari to put them alongside the other characters, and decided to clean them up a little as ref sheets for art fight! All the info on these are basically the exact same as the initial reference image, so it’s not any new information.

I’m on vacation right now and wifi is incredibly spotty, but I am hoping to participate at some point this month!!

Wouldn't it be fun if Emmet wound up staying in Hisui for a few years longer than he did in WtST, and then went home with Akari and Rei in tow only for an angry Legendary to interfere with their space-time hop, rip them apart from each other, and have them all end up in different areas of Unova?

And Unova is frozen because the World's Best Worst Parent Figure, Ghetsis Harmonia, actually managed to take the region and went full snowblower on it with Kyurem?

And Ingo is just trying to help people get out of the region or shelter them in the tunnels -- and also not just collapse from exhaustion because he's working himself to the bone trying to keep hidden but still do things -- when this weirdly-dressed girl falls out of thin air, calls him a Zoroark, beans him in the face with a Pokeball, and falls over?

Yeah, doesn't that sound fun?

Also I want Kyurem to get body-checked by Emmet's absolute unit of a Garchomp. Just for fun.
