I've finished this far too late for my liking.
We continue with this mini series I've started (what's with me and mini series??). Chronologically, Tord's in his early teens now, and this is where the relationship begins to see a shift towards more of a father/son relationship instead of a family friend and mentor role. I've taken inspiration visually from post-impressionism today. It's probably one of my favorite eras in regards to a visual aesthetic, right after surrealism and impressionism (I LIKE IT OKAY. So normal). This is actually inspired by a bit from a fic I'm working on right now. Maybe if y'all want it, I'll reblog it with the very angsty snippet.
NO QOTD JUST GO LISTEN TO NATASHA PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 THIS MUSICAL WILL MAKE YOU FEEL EVERY SINGLE EMOTION POSSIBLE IN WAYS YOU CANNOT EVEN COMPREHEND.

The friend that went to see this with me is about to play Mrs. Lovett for the second time, so this one feels like a natural. She was a driving force behind going to see this production and I was on board. A chance to see Patti LuPone? Yes please. Michael Cerveris? Double yes!
What a wild production! I had seen my college do this a year or so after I graduated. I was familiar with the show. It predated the Johnny Depp movie and was superior in every damn way.
First, this was the production where the actors were also the musicians. Staged to take place in the "recreation room" of an asylum-somewhat- where an older Toby remembers the tale of how he got there...
It was a high concept that paid off. Once the show started you forgot they had instruments in their hands. The Judge and the Beadle having a perfectly fine conversation, acting, singing... just two dudes who happened to have Trumpets in their hands.
A girl as Pirelli? I'm in. Great job! And wonderful cellist(or was it a bass?)
The set was a simple rectangle of slotted grew wood floor boards.... and so was the back wall. Behind which was a cyc. Colors bled through the cracks and spaces between the wood. The wall was full of meaningful tchotchkes. The furniture was simply chairs... and a coffin... and a mini coffin and some buckets (more on those two later.)
The kill room? The coffin set on chairs with a chair on top gave Sweeney enough height. People would ascend or be mimed. It was simple. But what made it effective was the sudden red turn in the lights and... one bucket being picked up and blood dumped from it to the other bucket. It sold the death and murder aspect as well as the factory whistle.
I walked up to the stage at the end. Someone had spilled some blood. I stained my program with blood from the stage. It was awkward to walk around with and hasn't aged as well as I'd liked, but a unique souvenir nonetheless.
Michael was brilliant. Patti was good, but under the weather and coughing a lot. ... so forgiven.
The only weird thing was the introduction of a mini- coffin at some point. I can't remember the purpose, but it was headscratchingly weird at the time and remains a memorable misstep in a production that continues to be a model and inspiration.
So very glad I saw this. ... and its strength as a production led me to give the Josh Groban production a pass. I have no regrets.

Sylvie/Sigyn Playlist
This is my playlist for The Valley, my Sylvie/Sigyn fanfic that I posted last week. Most of the songs are referenced as chapter titles in the fic, but other songs are from my Sylvie playlist or inspired by the vibes of the fic rather than directly influencing the writing of the fic itself.
"Simple", kd lang
"Helpless", kd lang
"The Valley", kd lang (Where the title and main premise of the fic comes from. Initially I had intended for all of the chapter titles to be lyrics from this song specifically, but there were so many other songs on the same album that fit, too, so I changed my mind.)
"Fallen", kd lang
"Jericho", kd lang
"Bird on a Wire", kd lang
"The Next Right Thing", from Frozen II
"Both Sides Now", Joni Mitchell
"The Script", Derek Amato and Mandy Harvey
"Feels Like Home", Josh Groban
"Moon on the Water", Passenger
"The Valley", The Wailin' Jennys
"You Are Here", The Wailin' Jennys
"Sound the Bugle", from Spirit

Songs to Write my Muse!
Tumblr media
whether it be melodies that give you inspiration for your muse or songs that get you into the writing mood ━ pick 10 songs you find to give you the urge, the drive, or the creativity to write for your muse !
(these aren't in any particular order)
1. take me back // kongos
So, this song holds a special place in my heart (as do a lot on this playlist), and the rising desperation and plea that catches in my throat, when I sing along with this song makes me think of him, crying out with no answer and trapped in the dark, grappling with the hopelessness and inevitably of never being heard
2. cure for a loner // gingergreen mashup
Also heavily resonates with me, the feeling of rising stress, trapped in a fog and overwhelmed as the world goes on and time slips by, this- disconnect of putting on a show of happiness while inside feeling so hollow, and it coming across a bit manic, like a jester in a circus pulled by strings; isolation would be so much easier, safer, better... Everything's too much, but there's no use for it, the show must go on
3. moth to a flame // swedish mafia + the weeknd
Man, I'm just telling on myself at this point, haha; but this one is Lilith to Lucifer; more specifically about anyone he gets close to, and his guilty thoughts about what she would say if she were to find out that he was trying to move on. That desperate attachment and the pain it causes him, to stay alone or try to let go, trapped in limbo and aching... and it being by her grace that anything good happens after, that guilt of betrayal even after being discarded; and never being enough, an amusement that can be useful
4. forgive the world // nessa bennett
It was a hard choice between this song and another one by the same artist (dying on the inside) since they were some of the first songs I listened to that made me think of him; not having any control, desperate to hold onto the people around him, not wanting to be discarded, willing to do anything, it makes me think of his relationship with Charlie and how it hurts to hold on while she drifts further away into what feels like assured death, but needing to maintain the illusion that nothing is wrong, not wanting to burden her or chase her away like Lilith with his dark emotions and history
5. brave // josh groban + peter hollens
A message to both himself and often to Charlie when he was younger; to stay hopeful, brave; I used to play this song often when I went out on late night runs on my grandparent's farm, it kept me strong when everything felt like it was falling apart, and I can see him comforting himself with this
6. fix me up // a firm handshake
So, I couldn't just put the whole album on here, so kept it to just two... But I knew the singer when he was alive, I used to go to school with him when I was a child, and his music left a mark that won't ever leave me; fix me up is about saying goodbye, that nothing will ever change, and there's no saving, but even so to offer comfort... Lucifer cannot die, he will never be free, and there's no consolation for it... But it's alright, it'll be okay, don't cry for him, it can't be changed, so it's okay to accept it
7. sandcastles // a firm handshake
I'm getting emotional here, haha, but this song was definitely something sang to comfort Charlie, helpless to do much else, not even able to promise heaven someday... But isn't nice to dream? Of an Eden? Of a true paradise, someday, to reunite together when all is said and done? It.can never be so for him, but... if there was such a place, it would be in his heart where her memory would rest, everything for her, so don't cry, please, he is here
8. lies // halsey + quavo
Lucifer and Lilith core again, I feel like my heart's being ripped out haha,, the lie was always better than the truth that he could feel coming unstoppably, like a train coming down the tracks, the inevitably, but give him a lie, just one, let him live in the lie if nothing else; he knows his use is running out, she's getting tired of him, but he can't let go...please... tell him lies, let him believe in this lie
9. tired // emily finchum (anne october)
The eternal exhaustion, unable to stop the pain welling up like a fountain and tears flowing out and out, there's nothing left, nothing... left but the ennui of existence that will never end; don't worry, he's just tired, it'll be fine; just fine...
10. the highwayman // loreena mckennet
This one rises the feeling of helplessness and still wanting to fight, even if the end will always be in tragedy, the build up makes me want to scream and struggle, but I know how it ends, it will always end, but left helplessly enraged anyway and that's how Lucifer feels to me, haha, it hurts
11. simmer // hayley williams + violet orlandi
One extra for y'all because it was really genuinely hard to settle on just ten, and I could NOT leave this one out by sheer nature of Lucifer's temper, and how it's barely restrained beneath the surface, buried in his grief and hopelessness, but, but when it comes to anything to do with Charlie that might cause her further harm (Alastor) or with Heaven finding out what she's trying to do, it rises up, blistering and hot, it may be inevitable but like Hell will he let it happen sooner than it must, simmering simmering always, furious
(but these are just the songs I narrowed down and agonized over, haha, honestly anything by a firm handshake, marina and the diamonds early albums, some select songs from halsey and billie ellish, and a bunch of other random songs by various artists if people want, I'll share his playlist)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Marian Anderson (read her biography), Mildred Bailey, Adam Baldwin, Beethoven’s 8th Symphony (1814), Joan Bennett, Chilli, Louis Clark (ELO), Constantine the Great, William Demerest, Joaquin Valverde Durán, Gian Francesco Fortunati, Mary Frann, Eddie Gray (Tommy James & The Shondells), Josh Groban, Steve Harley, Adam Kinzinger, David Kleinberg, Gidon Kremer, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Kate Mara, the 1981 Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder single “Ebony & Ivory,” Jose Melis, Ralph Nader, Neal Schon, Timothy Spall, Nancy Spungen, Elizabeth Taylor, Franchot Tone, Johnny Van Zant, Van Williams, Joanne Woodward, James Worthy (PM Dawn), and the great American writer John Steinbeck. For me, Steinbeck is "the real California." Of his writing he said, “These words dropped into my childish mind as if you should accidentally drop a ring into a deep well. I did not think of them much at the time, but there came a day in my life when the ring was fished up out of the well, good as new.”
My Americana composition “Steinbeck Found the Valley” was prompted by lyrics from The Beach Boys's "California Saga": "Have you ever been down Salinas way where Steinbeck found the valley, and he wrote about the way it was, and his travelings with Charley..." The music bed was inspired by “Trombone Dixie,” an obscure Brian Wilson instrumental (a PET SOUNDS outtake). On this track I played accordion and piano with cellist Kim Osterwalder (who also gigged w/mutual friends Buddy & Julie Miller) + trombonist Richard Marriott.

4, 12, and 28 for music asks
4:A song that reminds you of someone you would rather forget about
...You know, I've thought hard about it and I honestly can't think of any. Sorry!
12:A song from your preteen years
Oh gosh, where do I start? One of my MANY favorites was 'Backstreet's Back' by the Backstreet Boys. To this day, it's my favorite of their songs.
28:A song by an artist with a voice that you love
'You Raise Me Up' by Josh Groban. Josh Groban is one of my favorite singers and he's got SUCH a gorgeous, powerful voice, but that song particularly highlights his vocal talents- and that's saying something! I think it's also the inspirational, powerful lyrics. (Actually, I think that would make a perfect fenro song. I associate it with how Gyro thinks about Fenton)!

Tumblr media
Noche de paz, also known as Silent Night, is a beautiful Christmas carol that has captured the hearts of millions around the world. It is a song that symbolizes the peace and tranquility that accompanies the birth of Jesus Christ. It has become a cherished part of many Christmas celebrations and traditions, and it has transcended language barriers to connect with people from all walks of life.
Noche de paz, or Silent Night, was written more than two centuries ago by Franz Xaver Gruber and Josef Mohr. The song was originally composed in German and has since been translated into many languages, including Spanish. Over the years, many artists have recorded their version of this beloved holiday classic, including Secada and Josh Groban. The beauty and simplicity of this song make it a timeless piece that can be enjoyed by people from all backgrounds.
The song's lyrics describe a serene night in which everything is calm and asleep, with the exception of the faithful shepherds who are keeping watch over their flocks. The chorus of the song also mentions that the star of peace shines brightly in the sky, indicating that the birth of Jesus has arrived. This evokes a sense of hope and peace in the listener, highlighting the importance of this special day.
Many scholars believe that the song is based on a folktale, though it is not certain exactly where the story came from. The song has since become one of the most recognizable and celebrated Christmas songs in history, with translations into over 300 languages and dialects. It has even been named a Patrimonio de la Humanidad by UNESCO, and it is often referred to as the “Himno Universal de la Paz” (universal hymn of peace).
In addition to its profound message of love and peace, Noche de Paz is also a wonderful Christmas carol because of its soothing melody and uplifting lyrics. It is easy to hear how this song has impacted people from all walks of life and has inspired them to spread the message of peace.

All The Songs Make Sense
I am regularly sad that Tumblr doesn't have access to this post, because it's one of my favorite things I wrote during my first go-round with Doctor Who/while processing my feelings about Journey's End, so I am transplanting it here. Which I've thought about doing at least twice before, but I don't think I actually ever did, so here goes nothing.
CONTEXT: I had my music library on shuffle, and 3 songs in a row were either explicitly written about the Doctor/Rose or on my ship playlist for them, and so I said...
Wait, wait, I HAVE A NEW GAME.  For the next 20 songs, I will magically relate lyrics to Doctor/Rose. I was this close to turning this game into the fic meme [where you write a tiny story related to/inspired by the song], but since I've never even tried to write Doctor Who fic, it would all pretty much come out sounding the same: me frustratingly working out my issues with Journey's End in terrible, thinly-veiled third person POV.  So instead we'll just pluck out lyrics and comment on them, as I do.
And so this was born, bringing into existence lyrical associations that, in some cases at least, persist to this day.
1. Blackbird - Evan Rachel Wood You were only waiting for this moment to arrive
(cue "Rose's Theme" and an otherwise-empty street)
OR
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
(broken wings, a phrase here meaning Ten II and/or her suddenly clipped joy)
2. I Will Show You Love - Kendall Payne
Well that's just too easy:
Watch your dreams like falling stars, heartache made you who you are
3. In This Life - Delta Goodrem I have faltered, I have stumbled, I have found my feet again I've been angry and I've been shaken, found a new place to begin I think that works pretty well for Rose in Pete's World
4. Do You Want to Play? - Jewel (A CHALLENGE, SIR?)
Don't ever give away what you can't take back
Which sort of implies that Rose is an object, but WHATEVER.  He essentially handed her off - gave her away - and now the next time the universes magically break down and they're reunited, it'll be too late.
5. Taxi Ride - Tori Amos (ohoho!  You think you're gonna throw me for a loop?) We've all been pushed too far today
Almost anywhere in the two parts of the finale, really.
6. Hard Candy - Counting Crows
All the regrets you can't forget Are somehow pressed upon a picture In the face of such an ordinary girl This is where I really wish I was doing the fic meme...not that I actually have an idea, but, you know.  I have a mental picture within the TARDIS.
7. Larger Than Life - Backstreet Boys
All of our time spent in flashes of light
YOU THOUGHT I COULDN'T DO IT.  BUT I DID.
8. Awake - Josh Groban (oh, I see we're back to the easy ones) We can't stay like this forever But I have you here today
9. Dignity - Hilary Duff Curses!  The game has defeated me.  This round. (unless we go meta and relate it to my lack of dignity in posting this) [let alone re-posting it]
10. Emily - Jewel One moment here, then gone With no forwarding address
Hard to pass mail between parallel worlds.
11. Ooh Oh - Keri Noble (ooh, oh, challenge?) What if I want you just to walk away From all the pain we have both been through?
*tilts head*  I mean, isn't that what he asks in the end?  Essentially?
12. What Child is This - Josh Groban *rolls eyes*  Way to make it impossible on the very next selection.  See, in the fic meme, I could have set something during one of the Christmas specials.  But noooo, I had to be lazy. 13. Wait for You - Elliot Yamin (Oh, hell yes.  Just watch me.) Rose -> Doctor You're still in love with me Don't leave me crying
Doctor 2 -> Rose Why can't we just start over again, get it back to the way it was? If you give me a chance, I can love you right 14. Goodnight and Go - Imogen Heap
We'll have drinks and talk about things Any excuse to stay awake with you
The chorus would work beautifully for Martha, but this is about as good as I can get for Doctor/Rose. Still, not terrible; better than nothing.
15. A New Day Has Come - Celine Dion Televinita forfeits this round on the grounds that the song mocks and taunts her and sinks her further into the pit of despair.
16. Telling Stories -- Tracy Chapman Sometimes a lie is the best thing
Lie, a noun illustrated in both the sentence "and I'm him," and Rose's kiss.
17. Stay - Beth Hart When I was young, just a little girl I'd sing to the sun & dream with the world Now I got a suitcase full of memories ...I don't know; is a slight stretch.  I again wish I was doing the fic meme.  Little Rose would be delightful.
18. Still Standing - The Rasmus Wish I could have you by my side Tonight when the sky is burning Think I am going to Turn Left places with this one...
19. What Goes Around Comes Around - Justin Timberlake (BWAHAHA!  And yet:) Don't want to think about it Don't want to talk about it I'm just so sick about it Can't believe it's ending this way Sorry, that's my reaction to Doctor Who.  Here's the Doctor/Rose bit:
Is this the way it's really going down? Is this how we say goodbye? See, it's slightly different!
20. Buildings - Regina (slightly edited for repetition) She would ask for time And she would beg for time And he would give her time But time is not given and time is not taken Which clearly sums it up.
Also, haha, WAY TO SIGNAL THAT THE GAME IS OVER, LIBRARY ("Doomsday").
...my music library and I have a special relationship.  Be quiet.
And finally, just because I really want to share what sparked the game off...
Goodbyes - Jess Anderson Is it so wrong to want to stay now that I've found you?

Second Season of Sacred Scandal podcast premieres
A sad commentary on modern times is that church scandals are too frequent and appear to infect multiple religions. One of the best such podcasts is Sacred Scandal, which was named one of Podtrac’s Best New Podcasts of 2022. Its second season focuses on Mexico-based megachurch La Luz del Mundo (Light of the World) and Naasón Joaquín García, a self-proclaimed apostle, who is currently behind bars after being convicted of sexually abusing girls from his congregation. He is currently serving a nearly 17-year sentence, but maintains his innocence. Host and investigative journalist Roberta Garza explores Naasón's control over a multitude of devotees, some of whom now describe their experiences in the church as "pure evil." In this true-crime series, survivors share stories about this powerful religious leader and the alleged sexual abuse that followed, many relating to minors. Tune in Thursdays.

You are mine
Coda to 2x12 (You are not your own)
When Magnus was tortured in Valentine’s body and lived through his worst memory time and again he tried to not hold onto Alexander as his safe place, but the deeper his darkness became, the more he needed the light in his life...
“Magnus. Tell me how to fix this.“, he begged, sitting down as close to him as he dared.
The warlock looked at him with a strangeling kind of sadness in his eyes, that made Alec’s heart ache.
“Just tell me what to do, please.”
Magnus shook his head, not willing or able to speak up.
They sat close on the small couch but did not touch like they used to. There was a suspense between them, the way they held their bodies, that was untypical for them. In the past weeks they had become comfortable around each other to an extend, that made it impossible not to be near the other, when in the same room. It was like gravity. Their souls calling out for each other.
Magnus found he needed the warmth of that familiar body beside him as much as he needed to get away from it. But he simply couldn’t tell him the horrible things he had done. Using him to hold onto his sanity was simply not right. And it hurt to keep it from him all the same.
“Alexander.“, he choked out, but couldn’t say more. His voice broke and he cast his eyes down. He couldn’t even look at him. The guilt, the disgrace ate him up from the inside and he needed time. Magnus needed time to cloak all this emotions with that cheerful self he wore so well. He needed to be alone... Yet he couldn’t find it in him to ask Alec to leave.
But as it turned out, that wasn’t necessary.
“I am sorry.“, the shadowhunter whispered and Magnus couldn’t bring himself to react.
It was only a fraction in time, when Alec moved closer, placed an arm around his shoulder and his forehead sank against Magnus’ temple.
“I am sorry you had to go through this.“ Magnus could feel his breath against his cheek and was soothed as well as disguted by it. He could feel Alec’s eyes closing and took a deep breath.
“It wasn’t your fault, Alexander.“, he said, allowing himself to find comfort in his boyfriend’s arms. His head sank against Alec’s and his body practically slummed against the shadowhunter’s steady form.
And Alec caught him as certain as the sun, his arms beeing the only thing that held Magnus together at that point. His hand moved on his own to find Alec’s warm palm, intertwining their fingers.
“I need you to...“
“.. leave.“
Magnus nodded, clutching his hand. He was conflicted, but knew that if Alec stayed, it would hurt the both of them.
“Do you need me to leave the apartement or should I stay on the couch?“, Alec whispered against his temple.
The young shadowhunter knew that Magnus needed his space, but given the situation, he needed to make sure.
But Magnus didn’t answer. He kept leaning against him and Alec moved his head ever so slightly, to let Magnus’ rest against his chest, his lips pressing against his hairline ever so gently.
They stayed on like this for what seemed like a lifetime, basking in each others warmth.
“You are my safe place, Alexander.“, the warlock whispered almost inaudible with the imminent need to get this of his chest. Tears streamed down his face and he was relieved that Alec was unable to see this.
“I never had a safe place to land.“, Alec confessed, caressing his hair, while his chin rested against Magnus’ head. “...until I met you.“
“No.“, Magnus sat up and looked straight at him, anger written all over his tearstained face.
“You don’t understand, Alexander.“
He moved up, agitated and started pacing around.
“I used you.”
Alec followed his movement with his eyes and was lost for words. He didn’t understand indeed and was about to open his mouth to say so, but Magnus kept on talking...
“Whenever the pain of that agony rune overwhelmed me. I tried to go back to my happiest memory. The day I knew you loved me.“
Magnus cheeks were glistening with tears, but when Alec moved to stand, he held up his hand, so the other sat back down. Watching him, helplessly.
“I clung to this.... image of you, to keep me sane.“
His words were laced with pure disgust.
“But isn’t this what a safe place is for?“, Alec asked under his breath, still not getting his full meaning. “To have someone to keep yourself together when things are falling apart?“
Magnus finally locked eyes with him.
“You don’t know anything about the memory you were up against.“, he screamed through his tears. “You don’t know what that agony rune made me relive.“
“Then tell me.“, Alec begged again. “Make me understand.“
Magnus looked sad and defeated.
“Leave me alone.“, he whispered. “I don’t want you to see me like this.“
I can’t break in front of you... You of all people. For you I need to be strong.
“Magnus.“, Alec said while standing up, but not getting close.
“I love you... And whatever it is, I am here for you.“ His voice broke. “You never have to pretend how you fell, especially not with me.“
“I am sorry, Alexander.“, Magnus whispered, when he cupped his lover’s face in his hands. “I love you, too.” And a soft flicker of his magic erased Alec’s memories of their brief heart to heart.
“I am fine.“, he asured him, when Alec blinked in confusion.
“You sure you don’t need me to clean that up?“, Alec asked, pointing to the glass on the floor.
“No need to worry.“, Magnus said, smiling despite himself. “Magic, remember?“
Alec nodded and bend down to peck his lips, tenderly but chaste.
“I’ll see you tomorrow.“
“Yeah.”
“Good night, Alexander.“, Magnus added, after the door had closed behind the man he loved. He could feel himself breaking and he knew that he had done something irrevocably wrong.
But despite everything. Despite the deep trust he had in Alexander from the very beginning. He was afraid to loose him to an extend, that made him do silly things, like erasing his memory. He knew that Alec did not deserve this... and neither did he. But in his long lifetime, he had learned one thing. Trust and love were easily shattered, while pain lasted and kept on crawling back in, when love was nothing but a fleeting memory.
Magnus walked into his living room and poured himself a drink. He stepped in front of the window and looked out into the darkness, beyond his reflection. His fingers traced his lips, savouring the feeling that Alec’s lips had left. And he knew that this time closing himself off was not an option.

I just realized obi wan could totally sing the no more f to give song in pop star au.
My day has been brightened.
shadowaccio6181 asked:
Something's been going wrong when I try to embed a video, but I took that out (and replaced it with a link) and censored everything!
So. Pop Star Wars AU!
I really want to imagine Obi-Wan writing and singing this.
Here are the lyrics:
[Intro]
I've tried, tried, tried, and I’ve tried even more
I've cried, cried, cried, and I can't recall what for
I’ve pressed, I've pushed, I've yelled, I've begged
In hopes of some success
But the inevitable fact is that it never will impress!
[Chorus]
I've no more f#cks to give
My f#cks have runneth dry
I've tried to go f#ck shopping but there's no f#cks left to buy!
I've no more f#cks to give
Though more f#cks I’ve tried to get
I’m over my f#ck budget, and I'm now in f#cking debt!
[Ukulele]
[Pre-Chorus]
I strive, strive, strive, to get everything done
I’ve played by all the rules, but I've very rarely won
I've smiled, I've charmed, I’ve wooed and laughed, alas to no avail
I've run round like a moron, to unequivocally fail!
[Chorus]
I've no more f#cks to give
My f#ck fuse has just blown
I've been hunting for my f#cks all day but they've upped and f#cked off home!
I've no more f#cks to give
My f#ck rations are depleted
I've rallied my f#ck army but it's been f#cking defeated!
[Post-Chorus]
The effort has just not been worth the time or the expense!
I've exhausted all my energy, for minimal recompense!
The distinct lack of acknowledgement has now begun to gall!
And I've come to realize that I don't give a f#ck at all!
[Chorus]
I've no more f#cks to give
My f#cks have flown away
My f#cks are now so f#cked off they've refused to f#cking stay!
I've no more f#cks to give
My f#cks have gone insane
They've come back round and passed me while they're f#cking off again!
I've no more f#cks to give
My f#cks have all dissolved
I've planned many projects, but my f#cks won't be involved!
I've no more f#cks to give
My f#cks have all been spent
They've f#cked off from the building and I don't know where they went!
[Outro]
I've no more f#cks to give!
I've no more f#cks to give!
I've no more f#cks!
I've no more f#cks!
I've no more f#cks to give!

Idk if you’ve mentioned these songs already in the Pop AU but I have a list. Some really good ones I think are “Put it on me” - Matt Maeson, “Heal” - Tom Odell, “Man or a Monster” - Zayde Wolf & Sam Tinnesz, “Walk through the fire” - Zayde Wolf & Ruelle, “Leave a light on (acoustic)”- Tom Walker, “Human” - Aquilo, “Silhouette” - Aquilo, “Underdog” - You me at six.

Pop Star au! Where Obi Wan sings I Just haven’t met you yet By Michael Buble because it’s been playing consistently in my workplace and the thought makes me laugh
shadowaccio6181 asked:
Pop AU! Two fun inspirational songs (other than Brave - Sara Bareilles): Hall of Fame, Larger than Life - Pinkzebra. (But on a separate note, have you ever heard Smile - Mikky Ekko? It's got a soft, slightly-upbeat melody... and the lyrics are SUPER DEPRESSING. Like, Obi-Wan should absolutely write it. You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban could also be fun, maybe directed to the Force?)

I love your pop star AU so much! I hope some inspiration for other snippets come your way soon! If I may toss some other songs your way: Måns Zelmerlöw - Heroes (inspire folks to take action), Roxette - It Must Have Been Love (grief of the loss of vod'e and his family in 66), Simon and Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence (grief at being back in the Temple after 66), Linkin Park - In the End (what was point for all the suffering if just time travelled?), kd lang - Constant Craving (for the ship?)
shadowaccio6181 asked:
Pop AU! I swear I'm not a robot. But... LOTR songs! May it Be - Enya, The Edge of Night... The Last Goodby, maybe while getting over time-traveling. It’s even sadder b/c it’s Obi-Wan, but it’s pretty. (But I’m also imagining Obi-Wan making lullabies for Anakin? Safe and Sound - Taylor Swift, Song of the sea (Lullaby) - Nolwenn Leroy, Amhrán Na Farraige, Sleepsong - Secret Garden, Song of the Sandman - Enya, Only Time - Enya, The Voice - Celtic Woman)

Rewrite the Stars || Zendaya & Zac Efron
What if we rewrite the stars? Say you were made to be mine Nothing could keep us apart You'd be the one I was meant to find It's up to you, and it's up to me No one can say what we get to be So why don't we rewrite the stars? Maybe the world could be ours Tonight

Maybe it's intuition But some things you just don't question Like in your eyes, I see my future in an instant And there it goes I think I found my best friend I know that it might sound More than a little crazy but I believe

Long Slow Beautiful Dance || Rascal Flatts
Standing beside her, the stars shined even brighter And for a moment all the world was, all the world was still I knew we belonged together the moment my eyes met hers And I thought nothing lasts forever but maybe this one will

Hey! Look! I finally did the thing!! Fellow Benophie fans have asked for the songs I think speak to the couple and here are my selections! (In no specific order.) I literally scrolled through my iTunes library last night and picked out songs. I'm sure there are songs I've missed/will add later, but I consider this a good start ^_^.
And I hope you enjoy my Benophie collage! I had fun creating that :-).
Enjoy!
UPDATE: I created a Spotify playlist with these songs! Click here!
