Så ännu en midsommarafton. Jag sitter på en solstol i skuggan i Albanien med en pool framför mig, en strand, hav och horisonten. En och en annan palm. Till höger om mig har jag kamomillte i pappmugg(?!) och en bok jag läst ca 3 sidor av. Det går lite långsamt.

Ännu en midsommar. Snapchat påminner mig om highlifes i mitt liv efter bilder jag tagit. Och så dök bilden upp. På kontraktet. För två år sedan. På mitt nya liv, utbildningstjänsten och dagen efter, dvs. imorgon på pricken köpte jag min lilla lägenhet. Så märkligt hur tiden flyger förbi.

För mer än 1 månad sedan slutade jag och M att träffas. Märkligt hur han varit en del av mig så länge, om en vänskapligt. Nästan hela min tid i Jönköping. Jag är glad att vi inte slutade som ovänner, men ledsen över att vi inte slutade som vänner. Nu är vi bara främlingar för varandra. Och det är okej. Det var inte rätt. Det känns inte lika jobbigt längre, även om jag tänker på honom ibland.

Jobbet har varit tufft, jag har behövt gå till AME och pratat med en psykolog och eksemen poppar upp ibland. Det ordnar sig där med säkert.

Och så på vänskapsplanen. Jag är glad för de jag har. De finns där för mig och jag har det roligt med dom.

I övrigt tror jag att jag är ganska nöjd med livet, men jag vill verkligen hitta någon som utmanar mig. Jag har inte bråttom på så vis, missförstå mig rätt. Men jag behöver bli utmanad, förstådd och peppad. Men tills dess, simmar jag lugnt i både havet, poolen och livet.

Jag hatar skvallertidningar så otroligt mycket att det är inte ens kul. Om det inte var det främsta sättet att kommunicera med kompisar så skulle jag radera snapchat snabbare än det går att säga parasociala relationer. Jag förstår att det är roligt med skvaller men nivån som man blir pressad att bry sig om personer man aldrig kommer träffas privatliv eller meningslösa bråk är fan inte hälsosamt.

it would take a while, let's start there

he’s got a lot of insecurities and doubts, so it’s a slow process, he’s not jumping right into anything, he still gets nervous just going outside during the day without anything to hide behind

first things first, the store. supermarkets are a new concept to him, they didn’t exist int he forties, he’s used to having to go to all different shops

it’s after his first full year of what the two of you have been affectionately dubbing as an adjustment period instead of lifestyle shock therapy when he starts to hint about modern-day ‘courting’

aka, he has absolutely no idea where to start with making your friendship into something more romantic than platonic, and how to even know if you want that

he figures that with how casual everything is these days, going for the whole flowers and smartest outfit and candlelight dinners is a bit much
