I'm so glad this blog exists, I was just debating to maybe make a blog recording horses (as a way to record a specific horse model I despise but see way too often) and other various interesting animal designs in webcomics but thought there must be one already and sure enough

Hehe, I'm glad I was not the only one with the idea! I'm curious if I can guess the specific horse model you despise, but see a lot... There are at least three I can think of, haha. I'm a bit behind on my uploads, maybe you'll see it here eventually! Feel free to submit any weird horses you find~

Would you have any idea why a little succulent (not sure on the type) would literally try and throw itself out of it's pot. It seemed to be doing well at first but then actively seem to be trying to escape the container.

Even looking at the compendium, anything it says really comes across only as theory. Really the only thing thst doesn’t is the fact they have the same fortune teller lines which isn’t much proof. And I only went there to fact check as I don’t recall anything being said either from my many playthroughs in the past.

Exactly. And the thing about the fortune teller having the same line for both of them is really easily explained without some sort of “secret twin/clone/replica” thing if you know about Schala’s fusion with Lavos and about Harle’s eventual fusion into the Lunar Dragon. They have the same experience, both being forcibly pulled into something hellbent on destroying everything they love. The fortune for Kid isn’t for her, it’s for Original Flavor Schala(TM), because that’s who she’s a copy of; the fortune for Harle is warning her off her inevitable destruction when the Dragons fuse.

Meanwhile people still argue over whether or not the Prometheus Lock is actually a duplicate of Robo’s AI (confirmed via word of god); whether Lucca is dead (confirmed in-game in the Homeworld timeline, implied to be unlikely in the Otherworld timeline thanks to the fact that Chronopolis exists and they regularly cite Lucca’s work, which we know from paperwork in found in the orphanage that she hadn’t patented or released at the time of her abduction); how Serge actually drowned as a kid (confirmed in-game to have been Wazuki/FATE’s doing).

I think my favorite one I’ve been told is that Schala, Janus and Queen Zeal use blue hair dye which is why she’s blond in cross, especially as folks have used it seriously in conversation before and it’s just like no, what are you… that is never stated anywhere.

I kind of assumed that it was Lavos’ influence? Since Lavos is red/orange/gold? But then I also immediately assumed that the Schala at the end of time is so much younger than she was in Trigger because she broke off a huge portion of her Self to make Kid all those years ago, which is something else that people have huge issues reconciling for some reason.

Also like...if that were the case wouldn’t Magus’ hair be blond instead of blue-white? Wouldn’t Magil’s hair be blond instead of light blue? (I’m not gonna get into the Guile/Magil/Magus/Janus debate here, I have my headcanon on that and I’ll stick with it.)
