The other two hairs requested by anon, these are both cute flippy Wings hairs for M sims, recently converted by @polygonbeach. Turns out that they have the same mapping, so I was able to just reuse the textures :^) In my natural color set and Io's textures.

Here's my participation to Bring Me That Horizon, a Pirates of the Caribbean fanzine made for the 20th anniversary of the first movie. Thank you @20yrsofpirateszine for the opportunity and all the work, and @elventhespian for helping me with the dialogues! I enjoyed every second of working on this comic, which was surprising given the amount of background furniture-- It was my first contribution to a fanzine and it was so much fun to see it come to life as everyone shared what they'd been working on, and to follow each stage until the final steps. Definitely keeping my eyes open for other zines projects now!

WISTERIA SKIN + PUPA EYES: A COMPLETE SET OF GENETICS

BOI that was an undertaking! but finally, and with lots of assistance from the wonderful @kestrelteens, this skin is completed. and it turned into an entire set of cohesive genetics, too! more info under the cut ⤵

essentially this is a mix of woohoo on the beach (aka ios those darn skins slightly edited) and various other components taken from @obscurus-sims, @lamatisse and @buglaur, (such as collarbones and ears), and some moles/freckles for the elder bodies i snuck from @episims, and @sixfootsims tongue + teeth texture. lips are a nod to maxis and a blend of so much stuff that i dont even remember it.😅 also tried to eliminate the smeared lipstick texture under the feet, and p much blended every seam i could find.

january 13th-- i noticed that the s3 range for females is a little too highlighted in the chest area, to the point that clothing where the skin texture mapping is just off the *tiniest* bit makes it clip with the neck, which also applies to a lot of ea meshes. i have toned down the shine and blended the neck down further for this range so that it looks better with differently mapped clothes :)

please redownload the natural defaults and/or non defaults. make sure to keep a backup of the previous version in case you end up not liking the changes ive made to this range!

july 1st-- oh, ~fun fact~ seems like the genetic values werent saved correctly as simpe takes note of the digit separation convention of your own localization (as in, if , or . is used in your region) SO if ure using the gen/town version of this skin, redownload that one, please!

Rascalcurious' 4t2 WingsER1203 FH pookleted

As the title suggests, this would be Rascalcurious' 4t2 conversion of Wingssims ER1203 female hair, done in Io’s edits of Pooklet’s textures and in both of their natural color palettes. The hair has a little quirk at the top of the head that I sadly wasn't able to mask with textures (see pic). I'm guessing it's a mesh thing, so beyond my capacities to fix.

INFO: Teen-Elder. Binned, tooltipped, familied, compressorized. Custom bin includes five optional greys + my 'Rose' color. Mesh included, but renamed to fit my personal organization scheme - please watch for duplicates!

Yep, the Afterglow system got me after all. So have a dump! This stemmed from me not wanting to redo the portraits my Strangetown simmies have on their character page and for whatever reason my brain thought retexturing 28 (41‼️) hairs was the less lazy option 😅 All hairs come in the 4 Afterglow naturals, gray linked to black. I used seabens' gimp curves because I didn't have the energy to re-learn photoshop but comparing these to other Afterglow hairs I'm 99% sure the colors are all right.

Two hairs in Io’s textures. Yes, I’m fiddling around with my preview style and color palettes again… The second hair comes in a new set of unnatural colors which you can see above (or a more detailed swatch with credits here). I don’t know for sure if I will stick to these unnaturals going forward, I’m just trying stuff out lol, but I do think they’re a nice variety. The naturals still use my same personal set of 3 families.

I finally firmly settled on a hair palette for my game, so here are a bunch of eyebrows to match it: Beccabear Brooke, Blahberry Pancake Unibrow 1, Digi KimJM, Ephemera 080620, Ephemera 091228, io Louhi, Lapink November, Lilith Straight, Liulai 02a, Remus Sirion 34, Vivi N1 and Zerodark HeyJude.

Details under the cut, the swatch and named previews are also included in the download.

I love the Pooklet-Digi-Io palette that @fakebloood uses (see here) but I don't actually use all of the colors on it. This is the selection I'll be sticking with:

[blacks: Dynamite, Landmine / browns: Caim, Sorath, Orias / blonds: Volatile, Grenade / reds: Copper, Ariel / greys: Pipebomb, Grenade, Mailbomb / + unbinned Naberius]

To be more exact that's the palette I'll be sticking to for hair: eyebrows are the same except they only get one black tone instead of Dynamite + Landmine.

All colors are binned except Naberius (Naberius eyebrows will therefore be available for all sims no matter their hair color). All are tooltipped and compressorized.

Since having Grenade as a grey is unusual, I took care to put elder Grenade on a separate file - separate from the "Grenade as blond for PU-AU" file that is. This way if you don't want Grenade for your elders, but you still want it as a blond for everyone else, you can just delete the "_grenade_EUgrey" file and you're good. EU is repo'd though, so if you do want grenade for EU, you need to also have it as blond for everyone else.

I got the base textures from @pooklet (this massive post), @simborg (this massive post), @serabiet (for Louhi) and @memento-sims (for the unibrow).

To keep file size as small as possible, I chose not to use bump maps (honestly in game it makes no visual difference that I can see anyway). No duplicate textures.

Let me know if you see anything wrong. I know this isn't the most varied selection ever, my bias for natural-looking eyebrows as opposed to highly stylized ones is definitely showing (this is a pretty selfish upload or I would have done the whole Fakeblood palette, I just didn't have the strength for it). Maybe I'll do more fun eyebrow shapes at a later date.
