Hold on... I think I'll disagree with XLH in this one. And I can be wrong when I further down to the series.

So if an event deviates from a major tribulation events, then that high god is doomed as hell. Wanqing (chidi) didnt meet her beloved in the Lantern Festival--a tribulation event (!!) and yet she seemed fine. Primordal spirit intact.

XLH interpreted that even if the previous tribulation event deviates from the Fate Poem, there's still alternative ways of doing so. As I said, I disagree.

Wanqing actually met her "beloved" at Lantern Festival. Unfortunately, it's DFQC 😭. There no need to do lantern festival 2.0 because it already happened! And it makes sense for him to be the "beloved." Because according to her fate, she'll be killed by her beloved in their wedding night (brutal). And DFQC's goal? Kill her.

If only Wanqing knew that the handsome mysterious "beloved" is her supreme enemy in her past life that she bbq-ed herself to defeat him.

So the Immortals™ gang's job in the mortal world is to make sure the tribulation of Chidi remains intact. But said goals happened to danger that tribulation instead!!!

Ahh this show really loved their ironies.

And it's a good way to display that a person's fate can be misinterpreted by many, even the expert of it. That it's a great challenge to play, and defy it.

sawtooth and squarewave are there ofc! theyre helping as best as they can, i imagine dirk build them for a different purpose but then was like "wait actually leaving hal alone with a toddler in a postalocalyptic future in the middle of the ocean is a very shit idea" so he left them in stasis with hal to act as a moral support lmfao. daves having a blast with squarewave, its a rapoff 24/7 in this household, and sawtooth isnt around too much like in the canon, but when he shows up he keeps an eye on both of them (very youngest-middle-oldest sibling dynamic with hal as a tired robodad). also hal and sawtooth are in a constant argument about how to best raise this human child (theyre both probably kinda garbage at it but theyre trying their best)

i cannot stand the aot fandom this is not a new take at all they are universally intolerable but oh my dayssss u are FORBIDDEN from making ANY take about the show it's actually insane to watch. 'aot is perfect' no show is perfect. 'tell me you didnt get the show 😂🫵' people have different opinions/interpretations about things. 'eren is a good guy they could never make me hate him' i think there's actually 4 seasons and two movies explicitely using him as a tool to show that no one is 'good' or 'evil' they are only trying to survive. hello. the fandom r all so far up aot's ass that they actually discredit its writing in the process and it would be laughable if it wasn't so frustrating
