There’s this one older woman in my life who is not related to me but almost every time she sees me she calls me “Mrs” and if that’s not the most patronising bullshit I’ve ever been subjected to, I want to punch her sometimes, and whilst that makes my skin crawl that’s not as bad as when she calls me “my little chick” and “sweet pea” like I am almost a grown woman, is it wrong to absolutely hate this? At least she’s stopped calling me “chicken”, that was a weird one. I’m too polite to talk to her about it but it’s so irritating 😭.
