Kagome: Pop music, definitely. Can be JPop, KPop, international Pop, kind of Pop. Mostly something happy and cheerful that one can dance to and sing along. But sometimes when sad (or Inu was an idiot) she listens to a sad pop ballad. Music like Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, BlackPink, Ariana Grande

Inuyasha: Firstly really confused about modern music when Kagome shows him but gets kinda into it with time. He‘d mostly listen to upbeat songs as well. I imagine him liking different genres especially rap music like Eminem, also Pop music but nothing that he labels as „girly“ more like Calvin Harris or something. Sometimes a little rock music but nothing to hard or with screaming, doesn’t like that. At all. No fan of classical music cause to boring. Sometimes listens My Immortal by Evanescence when thinking of Kikyou...

Sango: Also different genres. Feel like she would love Billy Eilish, lyrics is really important for her more that being able to dance to it. Would probs listen to lots of Indie stuff too, a lot of unpopular bands nobody really knows xD But maybe also some female rock music like Halestorm or Within Temptation.

Miroku: Happy music again, especially with female lead. Or dirty lyrics (sorry but we all know its true). Therefor enjoys rap like Cardy B or Nicky Minaj (and sings along a lot). And he likes looking and youtube music videos, every video where there is a pretty woman in it, like She Wolf by Shakira or Blurred Lines.

Shippo: Likes literally everything Kagome likes.

Sesshomaru: (This one‘s though) Not really a huge Pop or Rap fan. I can see him liking Rock Music but the darker and harder type, not heavy Metal tho (ok maybe sometimes when he‘s angry) stuff like Breaking Benjamin or Sixx Am, Linkin Park. Or / And he likes classical music. Yes, he does. It‘s not boring to him, in fact he likes how many emotions are expressed without singing sometimes. Mostly listens to dramatic songs tho or sad or angry ones. Beethoven‘s (5th symphony, Coriolan…) Liszt (mazeppa), Wagner etc. Only ever listens to someting happy when Rin wants it. (And maybe he could also like Apashe, mostly the classical music covers but also Majesty and Battle Royal, cause well.. he relates)

Naraku: Rock all the way. All kinds, soft rock, hard rock, JRock, heavy metal too. Everything kinda depressed and sangry (sad and angry, yeah I made that up). Also Billy Eilish. Otherwise also BB, Korn, Soundgarden, Iron Maiden, Evanescence, Shinedown, Despairsray, theGazette, In this moment (they have an album called black widdow, think thats quite a fit)

The most important thing I find with music is ultimately if I like the song or not.

I don’t really understand why people are fighting all the time, either you like it or not. If you do good for you, if you don’t good for you to.

NOTE: Also you don’t have to force yourself to stream or listen to music you don’t like just because your bias released it.

I “ personally "don’t really care for MV’s or hardcore choreography since I watch it maybe 1-2 times and never see it again. I also mostly just listen to music on the go or download it on my phone. But I can see how important it is for some fans.

I have a very broad range of musical genres(all from, kpop,k-indie, western pop,jazz, jrock,jpop etc others) I like and the artists varies in how good they are at singing. Some have extremely good vocals whiles others are average to below average, others have unique voices but In the end I still enjoy them all. For me personally i know shit about music so I don’t really think much about it as long as it sounds pleasant and they put up a good performance.

But I totally get why some people are so focused focused on "talented vocalists” nothing is wrong with that at all. It is after all important to many people. Especially if you wanna see them life.(nobody comes to perform in my country 😭)

I just don’t really get all those comparison videos on YouTube putting singers/idols against each other. In the end it’s about personal style.

I “personally don’t really care about high notes or what not” I’m not gonna stan somebody for their high notes if I find their voice or music not my style.

I would rather listen to a mediocre singer/vocalist whose songs and performances I like, rather than a super talented vocalist/singers whose music I don’t like or care for.

It really depends on my mood or what I may be getting into but here are a few based on genre: Folk - Blue Ridge Mountains by Fleet Foxes, Kpop - Cypher part 4 by BTS, Jpop - Thread of Fate by T.M. Revolution, Jrock - Down to You by Abingdon Boy School, 80s rock - Break Free by Queen, 80s pop - Anything by Michael Jackson, tbh (I’ll stop here since the list goes on lol)

What is 3 facts nobody knows about you? 1. I’m missing one of my teeth that never grew back in, 2. I think that Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino are overrated film directors (I’m saying this as a person who analyzes films all year in school), and 3. I’ve never broken a bone in my body!

Least fave book of all times and why? Catcher in the Rye, tbh

What characters are your role models? Spiderman, the Golden Age Superman, Rey and Finn from TFA, Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, Curious George, and basically most cartoon characters from my childhood who preached about kindness and understanding

Favorite video game? My favorite video to play EVER is Ty the Tasmanian Tiger (or Little Big Planet)!

Are you proud to be a nerd? Why? Yup! I love being a HUGE dork because I get to enjoy all the great stories and characters that come out of other people who are also like me and it also motivates me to be better at creating my own stories!

1 I live in southeast asia and trust me they had little to no success here the time they went to japan was also the time kpop the biggest thing even now kpop is still THE THING!! in soea asia but in japan jpop and jrock are dominant in charts and social and mass media

2 There's also a mass movement here that start in 2013 record labels heavily promoting local acts and is not slowly coming drown any time soon so lil'mix are nobodies here GD was number 1 or 2 in some countries but after two days and some countries only few hours it disappeared off the charts

Very very interesting. And yeah I know they really have no impact there but it’s more then the USA if I’m being honest. I mean at least they have an award and can chart in Japan when they couldn’t dream of even being nominated in the US. And you’re right KPOP music is IT. They should’ve tackled and collaborated with them instead. I hope 5H does that nexy after they take over as a 4some.
