im frothing at the mouth to be all like "ugh why cant u properly intact with women like theyre fully rounded people matty 😡 😡 😡" but i am exactly the same with men lmao. like i find it really hard to maintain friendships with men and (I KNOW THIS ISNT TRUE but) i find myself treating them as if i push the right buttons and say the right things sex will fall out.

No, and I’ll say this up front, I’m sure it’s super tempting. I’m sure if I were a hot rockstar I’d be getting drunk and sliding into Ice Spice’s DMs too lmaooo. Or if I were as gorgeous as Gabbriette is, and as wealthy as she is, I’d be tempted to live in a bubble of privilege too. It’s all well and good to say it now, but I’m sure it’s another level of self restraint and morality to be presented with all these opportunities and options for turning a blind eye but still find it within yourself to say “no. I’m not doing that. Because it’s not okay.” That why I admire(d) matty so much. He GREW UP privileged. Even if not as financially well off as he is now, just being upper class / upper middle class. Being a man. Being white. And he still had the awareness of educate himself and stay aware of life beyond his immediate surroundings. That’s hard! So yeah it’s not easy and we are all flawed. I’m no better or worse than anyone else. Just saying. And he deserves credit in the areas where he does have awareness and compassion. He’s a person; so is Gabbriette. We all are.
