hi I was reading breath of and for the life of me I can’t find a translation of ussta’alurlssrin, what does it mean? Ty, I love your work!

ussta is “my” and alurlssrin is “love” so i just smooshed them together, it might be incorrect tbqhhhhhh drow grammar gives me a headache and i wanted alurlssrin to remain recognizable.

I have a extremely angsty au idea what if instead of douma it was kotoha(inosuke’s mom) who was upper moon 2. What i am thinking is that when kotoha arrived at douma’s cult muzan was there undercover and decided kotoha would make a perfect demon so he basically used her love of inosuke against her by manipulated her into believing that people were inherently harsh and cruel like her husband and that the inosuke would eventually be hurt and the only way to prevent it was to become a demon not telling her the little detail that upon transformation she would become a mindless beast and she rampaged through the cult killing everyone but inosuke because douma basically did what kotoha did in canon

Not only is this such an interesting idea, it has the potential to go many ways! Maybe Inosuke is brought to the cliff by some other maid of the cult, only to be killed by Kotoha who pursued her. Inosuke like in canon is thrown into the river and survives and grows up pretty much the same as in the actual canon, however instead of fighting just Douma in the infinity castle arc, he is also fighting his mother. Angst ensues!

OR After Kotoha kills everyone she snaps out of it just before she can kill Inosuke, and brings him back to Douma. She is still a demon and now has no remorse for what shes done. Imagine two demon parents raising Inosuke! Now I have a feeling he's going to turn even more fucked up then in canon.

or maybe they turn him into a demon also and they live as a family like Rui and his own did. I'd imagine Muzan gave Kotoha a lot of blood so she would share upperank two with Douma, just like Daki and Gyutaro. I'd imagine they would be quite a menace. Poor inosuke.

I really like this idea and I would love to hear more thoughts about it! How would the infinity castle arc play out? what would Kotoha look like as a demon? Thoughts?

It means a lot, I don't have adhd myself but James with adhd is such an important and precious headcanon to me. I don't even treat it as a headcanon, I think that this is the way he was meant to be written - I've spent hours over-analysing every canon reference of James Potter we have in the books and things just align so so well.

I don't know if you're into Jegulus..? But I'm currenly working on a big Jegulus fic, and while James' adhd isn't the focus of it, I still try to integrate these elements whenever I write James, because it's just inseparable to me.

So here's a small snippet from the next chapter I'm working on (not proofread yet, so sorry if theres any typos):

Regulus will sometimes press the side of his face against James’ chest, listening to his heartbeat and tracing out the rhythm of it with his fingers against his palm. It’s a consistent, calming pattern that’s more soothing than any of the tricks and methods James has ever used or applied to help himself concentrate, it’s the true definition of comfort in its purest form.

He wonders if Regulus is aware at all of the effect he has on him.

He wonders if the boy whose eyes look like violent, cloudy storms has any idea how much calm and comfort he brings him.

Sometimes James talks alone, about nothing in particular, or about everything at once, just the natural flow of his thoughts voiced aloud without the usual filter he is forced to put in place around most people. It’s incoherent, and sometimes he wonders if Regulus understand at all what he is talking about - James does not understand most of the time himself. He will begin a thought in his head and then by the time it’s voiced aloud, there is something else popping up and he has no idea what he was going on about before, new words jumping in front of old ones, fighting for space inside his tirelessly buzzing head.

Regulus does not seem to mind. He hums and just nods along, even if he has no idea what James is telling him at this point. In the beginning, James would cut himself off occasionally, with a familiar jolt of panic in his chest once he realised he’d been blabbering without a second of a pause between his words for longer than twenty minutes straight. He would glance up to check Regulus’ reaction cautiously, a cheeky comeback already ready on the tip of his tongue out of habit, to laugh off the annoyed eyerolls and the biting remarks that stung more than he would ever care to admit, but there was none of that. Regulus’ smile was never condescending when he would lean down to brush the hairs out of his forehead, or slide the glasses off his nose so he could press a kiss to his eyelids, and tell him to go on. It took a while until it finally sunk in in his mind that he actually does not mind, that he could spend hours just listening to his voice even if there was no tangible meaning behind it.

Sometimes they will just lay on the floor in silence, facing opposite directions but heads by each other’s sides, fingers intertwined together with their hands on the floor one next to another.

Sometimes he will catch Regulus just looking at him, watching James with a look of utter adoration in his eyes even if he hadn’t been doing anything special, even if his hair is still spiked and messy the way he wakes up with it in the morning, even if he has nothing to offer but just himself.

For Regulus, as it turns out, that’s more than enough.

Scary Sunset.

I'm concepting things way outta order in this story, but I'm sure you can piece things together. Context is for a storybeat where, after defeating and capturing Adagio (thus having all three sirens in her possession), Sunset enacts her revenge plot to release the sirens on Canterlot as Thea discovers she's been manipulated. In a confrontation, the two scuffle and fight over the siren orbs while Sunset struggles with her conflicting wants and emotions.
