I'm absolutely convinced someone has already pointed this out, but this parallel between 01x08 and 02x03 is haunting me:

"This is how things are, how they've always been- I was so stupid to think they could change!"

Do you see how in the "break up" scene of season 1 the camera frames both Caitlyn and Vi at eye level, therefore at the same height, because the leading cause of the split is the powerlessness of two equal individuals to change a system that is bigger than them?

"I keep telling myself that you're different, but you're not! It's her blood in your veins!"

...and how the break-up in season 2 takes the pov of the two characters (Vi looking up at the topsider that just hurt her after pointing out how her actions are being part of the problem, and Caitlyn looking down at the zaunite she hurt blinded by her own anger and refusing to see her own faults), making it a representation of the bigger class/system issue at hand?

turbo is connected to the last piece of his code in the whole arcade - a trophy he gifted to felix in mid 80s as a symbol of him genuinely caring about their relationships on par with being the best racer. felix also gave him one of his medals and both kept their gifts next to other rewards, but when roadblasters and turbotime were unplugged, the medal was gone with everything else

now, after burning in cola-lava turbo is basically dead, but scraps of his code still were intertwined with the trophy (after all, it was his first winner's cup, but felix never knew about it), giving turbo an opportunity to exist as a shadow incapable of interacting with anything and anyone besides felix, who kept the trophy even after the roadblasters incident

In which Hogwarts 8th year is THIS close to being a normal school year. SO close. Harry's scar starts acting up though, (not dangerously but as an anomaly (that might as well be a danger for all Harry knows)) but the trio is trying to chill for once. It's the slytherin's who'll try a hand at unraveling Harry's mystery instead. Mainly Theodore Nott because I'm obsessed with the fan-concept idea of him and so should you.

all it takes is one slip of the tongue. one word to fall onto listening ears for you to get taken and killed, if not worse. he's made one too many enemies. he knows he's dangerous. knows his life's dangerous. but he gives up so much for his country so the least anyone can let him have all for himself is you.

like.... on tatooine marriage isnt a big thing bc everybody is a nobody. you exchange your vows and japor and i guess thats it. i dont think the hutts would give a shit so long as they got their taxes. and we know that marriage between slaves was something only the married knew of. maybe luke would honor that

during the rebellion everything would happen so fast and everyone would love so hard and die so young that i imagine elopement was common. "i cant have you forever so ill have you now" sort of thing. maybe there was just a form you could fill out and a ceremony wasnt needed. maybe there was no time to tell anyone and so no one was told

in the new republic luke is the last jedi. hes a war hero and a killer and the last of his kind. hes dangerous and valued and a public figure whether he wants to be or not. marriage and connections in general would have to be kept on the downlow to keep his loved ones safe. he is unkillable; his friends are not.

therefore luke would def get eloped at Some Point (depending on your ship of preference) and tell absolutely no one bc hes a moron. imagine the hijinks that could ensue...
