wait how did kolya die. im p sure it was a long time ago during one of olya's stalker missions or whatever but i dont know the details. what happened to u funni man
dissolved in the grinder. in the incident where olya lost her eye and sergei got all fucked up. it's depicted in the mill n you can see sergei's scars in that one scene in punch it, punk! and some official art. i think nikita got his neck scar there too. iirc sergei saved olya instead of kolya and nikita (kolya's brother?? i think??) was upset at him for it, which.. understandable but also that's a really fucking hard decision to make.
my thing is we never saw his exact death, and we don't know if olya, sergei, and nikita saw the moment he died either (plus trauma kinda changes memories so they may remember it differently); we only know the aftermath. meanwhile with nikita we saw him get shot and like.. heard / saw his final thoughts in message lost (very underrated song btw i sometimes just go listen to it on loop for a bit). it's extremely unlikely that kolya is alive and is probably just getting attention / spotlight bc yura is becoming more entangled with the stalker lifestyle and therefore closer to both past and present stalkers, but i think it's a funky theory and fun to speculate on. i also just rlly like kolya's design, he feels like he'd be fun to chill with (i know nothing about his personality). if he's actually well and truly dead i won't be too fussed abt it but i like theorising lmao

Name: Nikita Blomqvist
Personality:
Nikita is a woman that has an aura of calm and walks with a confidence that could make others believe she has her act together. She may allow others to take the lead but she guides with a gentle hand, then a firm grip, then a kick that was far too close for comfort. All with the same undisturbed demeanor about her. Her hair and clothes still in place. Her voice never leaving a talking tone. And she does not mention it. The end of her patience is not usually reached so most would consider her a reserved and ‘all work’ type of woman.
However this is the persona that she has allowed to be the one that others are allowed to know. But during her heists, she is another being altogether. Candid about her thoughts and able to easily joke, Nikita can be considered chatty to her pursuers. A knowing heartbreaker, she enjoys flirting but doesn’t take affectionate gestures nor words to heart. Although she doesn’t consider herself noble by any means–she’s a thief after all–Nikita also doesn’t attempt to harm those involved with her capture nor those around when she is working.
Background:
Nikita is the only child to the Blomqvist family. Her father having taken her mother’s surname as the Blomqvist were a family of successful thieves. As its sole heir, Nikita was trained in arts that would serve her as a thief. Acrobatics, escape artistry, disguise…all of it were normal for her to learn. And she was proud of her thief heritage, seeing them as Robin Hoods that existed throughout history.
To her the Blomqvist were uncatchable and held every reason to have their pride. However the pedestal that she held her family name on crumbled on one fateful day. Nikita had been awaiting for her mother to return from a business meeting so that she could show off the latest plans for a heist that she was constructing. But she was late. And after two hours after her expected time…her father became concerned and started packing for both of them. Nikita protested and didn’t understand her father’s actions. This was until her mother’s body was found in a river days later.
She researched the papers, calls, and the like that her mother had prior to her death before her father could get to them. From what she pieced, her mother was approached by someone, likely apart of an organization, to do what she did best. However, for some reason, her mother had looked into whatever she was asked to get and she ended up refusing the job. It was an answer that wasn’t taken well.
Her father insisted she drop it, fearing that this person would come for Nikita and himself if they looked further into it. Nikita wasn’t going to let this go but she knew she was ‘only a child’ and that she was no detective. But she could search for someone that could help her case. This led to her contacting Corteo Grimaldi, a detective that was looking into this organization. She had contacted him and slowly gave information she had from her mother’s files. With information from Nikita, he believed he could make progress with his case. However, he cautioned her to take her father’s advice of no longer getting involved. He admitted he knew she was young and that she’s brave but he’d feel bad for something happening to her, “after all, you’re probably no older than my kid. If not for a work call, I’d ask if you would like to meet him.”
While he was no more than a contact, Corteo had taken her mother’s case seriously and he seemed like a man with a warm presence. As she was relieved to let go, she went on to a normal life for a year or so. This didn’t last when she received a call from Corteo telling of a breakthrough that he was waiting to process before he brought to her. Within the next few days, Corteo Grimaldi was found brutally murdered. Nikita couldn’t help but feel some guilt as even if he was investigating regardless of her involvement, it was after her info and her contact that this man was dead. Leaving behind a wife though nagged him about his health, he loved her dearly and a son that he figured had been proud of him as a detective.
Nikita decided that she couldn’t remain ignorant like her father wished nor leave it to anyone else like Corteo asked. She was no detective and wasn’t one with investigation chops. But she was a thief. And there was plenty she could do with that. She just needed a bit of time to get there. Knowing something was afoul, she traveled to break into Corteo’s work and home to find any parts of this ‘breakthrough’ he’d found. There was little. But it didn’t deter Nikita.
After her venture, she told her father that she would continue being a Blomqvist and that she couldn’t turn away. She ended up going to live with her grandparents so that she could continue her tutelage. From this new set of teachers she learned a more candid version of her family’s history. The heroic, the villainous, and all things inbetween and that the legacy that was brought to the Blomqvist was dependent on the heir of that generation. And it was clear Nikita already had an idea of what she wanted to do. She researched into her enemies, using deceit and her wit to make it through. But while she procured information, she wasn’t sure what to do with it or how to use it.
This was went she was witness to the woman that she later learned as ‘Madame Butterfly.’ A fellow thief that stole for her own sake and held a grace and flair when she did…Nikita found it impossible to think who this woman couldn’t captivate. And it was from her Nikita found her own reasoning to this.
The organization that she was looking for were the kinds that occasionally wanted seemingly useless baubles or artifacts or wanted weaponry and transports. So she would use her thieving skill to take these things from the organization. But it’d be under the cover of the dramatics. One that would be unable to be ignored: a rival to the infamous Madame Butterfly.
It took a little time to gain some notoriety but after a call out to the thief herself and a friendly competition, Nikita became known as the Crepuscule Lily or Lily of Twilight. She was named for leaving flowers, lilies many times, at the scene of her crimes. Normally her schemes work two-fold: one endeavor that captures attention and then the one where she is snatching from those she considered wrong. Because of the rivalry, Nikita has met the Madame Butterfly and knows of her secret. But she couldn’t even leverage against the thieves since ‘the leader was onto me from the beginning.’
Despite being rivals, Nikita has an amicable relationship with Bijou. This relationship is to the point where Bijou has told Nikita that she could depend on the Winged Marauders if she so pleased. While Nikita appreciates the surprising support of the woman that’s supposed to be in her way, she doesn’t want to make it habit. As such she only occasionally makes a job for them while she goes for her true target.
