Nikolai vividly remembered your sadness during your last birthday. He knew that you struggled with birthday blues, that's why he's willing to do everything in his power to make you feel better.

Two days before your upcoming birthday, he materialized himself in a quiet alleyway with the help of his overcoat, before blending into the bustling street. Nikolai began surveying the area, in search of a present he was certain you'd adore.

It didn't take long for him to spot the perfect store. He swiftly entered, greeted warmly by the owner. He adopted the demeanor of an ordinary customer, browsing the shop's items so casually. Nikolai discreetly tucked a few things into his overcoat, selecting items he believed you would love. Thanks to his clever use of angles and his ability, it appeared as if he were simply shopping, not stealing – yes, this is a skill he had perfected through countless similar adventures.

After concluding his "shopping," Nikolai exited the store, making a mental note to himself to wrap the gifts properly before presenting them to you. An eager anticipation filled him as he looked forward to making your upcoming birthday a memorable and joyful occasion.

"Thank you for today; I'll see you all next week," you said as you closed your laptop, rubbing your temple in relief. Finally, work for the day was done.

You stretched in your seat before standing up from your chair. You glanced at the calendar, being reminded once again that today is your birthday. You had originally planned to spend it with your loved ones; alas, you have work to do, and your loved ones are busy around this time of the year. But you were grateful that at the very least least you weren't alone this time, even if it meant being with your coworkers. A little pathetic, you admit, but it's better than being completely alone with your thoughts. It helps to distract your mind off of things.

You couldn't forget the last time you spent your birthday alone; it ended horribly. Paradoxically, your birthdays tend to become the worst day of the year in your case.

You couldn't pinpoint when or how it had started, but you noticed that in the days leading up to your birthday, you often feel a deep sense of sadness, which intensified on the day itself.

'No, this year isn't that bad. I learned a thing or two, at least.' You told yourself that repeatedly in your head, like a sort of mantra - a desperate attempt to not let the same kind of thoughts that consumed you last year did its job again.

As you made your way to the kitchen to brew a cup of coffee and unwind, you were taken by surprise. He popped into view as if by magic, a sight you'd grown accustomed to. In front of you stood a familiar face: Nikolai, donning his trademark grin and his customary monochrome attire.

"TA-DAH!" he cheered with a confetti in hand, nearly smothering your face.

"Niko–" you attempted to speak but was quickly interrupted.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, [y/n]!!" The clown cheered again, carelessly tossing the confetti aside to pull you into a tight hug. He then spun you in his arms, his beaming smile mirrored by the twinkle in his heterochromatic eyes as they met yours.

"I thought you weren't coming," you said, meeting his gaze.

"I had to give a lot of 'surprises' to government officials today," he chirped, and you understood it all too well what he meant by 'giving surprises.' You're used to it. Yes, you should expect seeing the aftermath of his gruesome 'surprises' on the news in the upcoming days.

"So, you're here to surprise me as well?" you asked.

The clown nodded eagerly. "Yes, but not in 'that' way!" He giggled and twirled you once again, almost making you dizzy. After such a long day at work, it was a bit challenging to keep up with Nikolai's boundless energy, even though you always cherished his presence around you. He stepped back and reached into his overcoat, pulling out several boxes of presents and tossing them in your direction.

Witnessing a plethora kind of presents in varied sizes scattered all over the floor left your mouth slightly agape and eyes widened in disbelief.

"All of this for me?" you muttered incredulously.

"Of course, it's for my dearest dove, after all," Nikolai happily giggled. "I have to make it special!"

He winked whilst flashing you a peace sign before spinning in place, placing a hand on his hip once he came to a stop. "Isn't it amazing? I got all your favorites," he exclaimed, continuing to shower you with presents, creating a growing pile of gifts at your feet. "And if this isn't enough, we can go for a shopping spree!" Nikolai wrapped his arm around you, drawing you closer until your bodies bumped.

"You meant, a shop-lifting spree."

"Hehehe!" Nikolai giggled, feigning innocence as he leaned over, holding your face in his hands. "You can't blame me, dove, I'm only putting my ability to good use~" The clown began peppering your face with kisses, leaving no spot unattended.

You couldn't help but giggle as he did this, each kiss leaving you a little ticklish and, admittedly, giddy for more. Nikolai always had this infectious energy. It was always, always so difficult to stay blue whenever he was around. He has this uncanny ability to bring a smile to your face in ways that you couldn't quite comprehend.

"I want to make this the best day of your life," he slowly pulled away and reached for your hands, interlocking his gloved fingers with yours. "I'm so happy you were born in this world. My world felt nothing like it did before I met you, [y/n]." The jester cooed, sealing his sentiment with a gentle kiss on your forehead.

You felt your heart skip a beat at his words, how heartfelt his words were. 

"Well, I certainly feel the same, Kolya. Thank you for taking the time to visit me today..." You whispered, swiftly leaning in for a kiss on his cheek.

Nikolai hummed in delight as he received the kiss on his cheek. He lets out a small giggle, "It's just what I should do, [y/n]," he replied with sincerity in his voice. "I wouldn't miss celebrating your special day for anything else in the world!" He nuzzled against the crook of your neck, making your heart swell with affection. In response, you decided to delicately ruffle his white hair. Nikolai always seemed to enjoy having you touch his hair, always finding excuses to make you do it. The two of you remained in this position for a little longer, finding solace in each other's presence. You brushed a bit of dust off Nikolai's hair, as you often did, while he closed his eyes and leaned against you.

Deep down, Nikolai doesn't quite understand why you placed so much pressure on yourself. It broke his heart to see you put so much stress because, to him, you were already more than enough. Nevertheless, he didn't want to press you; he wanted you to open up at your own pace.

In the meantime, he's determined to brighten your days, even if just a little. Having experienced loneliness himself, he couldn't bear the thought of you feeling alone, especially now that he had found you.

"You know, [y/n]," he began, his voice softening as he savored your touch, "I can sense that something has changed in you this year."

You blinked slowly at his words, almost in disbelief. "What?" you paused, "The good kind of change..?" Nikolai nodded. "What a silly question! Of course, it's a good change, my dove!" He leaned back to look at you in the eye. "And I'm super thrilled to be the first one to acknowledge all your hard work this year!" His hands quickly found their way to squeeze your cheeks affectionately.

"Let's make this birthday the best one yet!"

That’s kind of unfortunate but also insanely funny to me, the siblings have to go through the typical arospec experience of not rly knowing how to identify romantic feelings and being super oblivious to flirting and the like… and god forbid they ask Sanji as the most “normal” sibling, either. He probably has an insanely rose-tinted view of the whole thing and his waxing poetic about how wonderful love is wouldn’t be good as teaching material at all, it’d just be like reading one of those romance books again. They’re on their own, because asking their parents is also embarrassing as hell!! Their adventures are going to be fruitful for sure if they hope to learn anything the not-awkward way.

Though also side note I feel like Reiju pulls the most. All of them are attractive in their own right but Reiju is a pretty lady with a gentle confidence to her that knows how to make you feel special in conversation even when she isn’t completely aware she’s doing it. It drives women crazy . When all of them have a better gauge of this romance stuff they keep complaining to her. She stole all their game. She should share some of her mystique with the class since she has so much. They get kinda too dramatic with it.

Welcome wine! But yeah, there's five kids who all call their parents gross when they get those particular looks or Mihawk pays Sora those specific words that make her flush. When the kids are out and about and being flirted with no one really understands what's going on, except for Mihawk, Sora, and Sanji. The kids will all be out and about in, hear me out, numbered tank tops that show a lot of skin. You know they're all built and Sanji's three patterned soulmark on his shoulder that creeps up his neck is on display. Also you know it was Yonji who convinced them to wear these and have them made.

Of course they're all being flirted with and Sanji returns it in kind while his siblings are all confused. He explains but it is rose tinted glasses, maybe because he grew up with his parents and has a soulmark. They probably ask him about it once, individually and Sanji talks about it like it's so cool and nice and it sounds cool but they also just....don't get it. They read books on the subjects. Mihawk noticing and just bringing home more. Books about sex, sexuality, gender, soulmates and marks. And of course there are romance books too and comparing notes. Of course if Mihawk or Sora offer any help or conversations the four of them scream and run.

Of course when they feel confident enough to start flirting or flirting back Reiju does pull the most and has the most game. She is drowning in people but she also only acknowledges flirting when she wants to. Her brothers, minus Sanji, all ask for advice. So she gives them what works for her but honestly? They can never match her because of that confidence you mentioned and most of the time she doesn't know she's doing it. That's part of why Perona goes so hard with flirting with her during the time skip because they would mesh so well if Reiju could like stay aware of the flirting. Mihawk and Sora are trying not to laugh at her dismay because they know how difficult they're children can be but also it's really funny.

It'd also be spectacularly hilarious if 124ji mention off handedly that his swords remind them of Sanji and before further explanation can be given they are crying about missing their brother. Sora really asks them, her twenty year olds, if they think it's appropriate. They cry harder in response about him being missing and missing him.

König and ex gf Y/N bump into each other again at a German cafe after so many yrs. Lil happy catch up over coffee (that Y/N prolly initiates bc knowing König). They had a good relationship but shit didn't work out as young peeps. She lives abroad now and just returned to town to visit family, so as much as the relationship was rly special, it's old and unrealistic and both are just happy to know the other is doing great.

Then days after, he lowkey wants a friendly chat again but finds out that she died in a car accident. Now König doesn't know if he wants to cry or not, and if he should visit (he prolly will). Gawd it's a whole level of sad when it fits upbeat music. Song reference? Alexa, play Never Forget You by Noisettes.

The time you spent with that boy washed away like sand on the seashore

On a trip back to your hometown, to visit your family

You go to your favorite café, the one you always went to before you went to work abroad

The smell and atmosphere of the café brings back so many memories, of good and bad, happy and sad

Nostalgia is truly a weird thing

As if he knew you were nostalgic, he was sitting at a small table, in the back of the café, looking over it

That's when his eyes meet yours

Both of you freeze momentarily; time seems to stop

None of you dare to move, waiting for the other to initiate the first move

Like how it was, and always had been, you were the braver one

You started your way to him

He shifts, clearly startled by your sudden eagerness

"Hey, is this seat taken?"

"No"

Well then that's your que

You sit down across him; time seems to go by painfully slow. You both don't dare to look in each other's eyes, not knowing what to say. Having to take the lead again, you part your mouths to say what he didn't have the courage to say. "How have you been König?". He seems even more disturbed by your friendliness, shifting in his seat; he answers: "I've been fine, you?". A bit more comfortable now, you decide to be more open about what you've been up to, despite the fact that you both had history.

"Well, you know, just been working, doing the adult stuff....paying taxes and shit." You try to be a bit funny, but you think you sound awkward to him. He smiles, he missed this old you, you've never changed ever since you were children; that takes him back to his younger days, with you. You continue on: "I found a good job abroad, and it pays well. It's also a job that I've always wanted to have.". "I know, you've always been adventurous, wanting to get away from this small town.". You nod, surprised that he somehow still remembers that about you.

"What about you? What have you been up to? You ask curiosly. Truth be told, he had grown up and looked way different from the young boy you used to know, but his personality didn't seem to change much; his body was just a man now. A handsome man at that. You briefly wondered if he was seeing someone else know, but quickly remind yourself that it's not what you're here for. He's just an old friend you knew.

"I got the military job I wanted." Swiftly, he meets your eyes for a second to see any sign of admiration or fondness for his new job. He thought that maybe joining the army would make him more scary, more manly, less of the young and dumb boy he once was. Yet your expression never wavered, but you seemed proud of him. He was fine with that. "That's really great König! I can't imagine the hard and tough training you went through to join the army, I'm very proud of you." Your answer was so genuine and kind. It made his heart ache a little. Just a little... "Yeah, I'm happy you think that." Wow, what a conversation killer you thought. Seems like you still need to take the lead, even in a conversation.

"So...." You start slowly, pleading him with your eyes, to say something too. "So, why are you back here?" He asked, genuinely, he was curious; he hadn't seen you in such a long time, didn't hear from you either, and now you just suddenly show up? And he happens to see you? Fate must have set you guys up, again. Dumbfounded, you answer: "I'm just back to see my family, I miss them a lot, and this town, even if I acted like I wanted to get out of it. I never thought that I could miss it so much, or maybe I just missed the memories I made here." Wow. What a deep answer. Were you also thinking of him when you said the memories you missed? Does that mean you missed him? Part of the reason why he was in this particular café today was because he missed you.

He missed the memories you both made here, the numerous dates you guys had here. He just didn't expect to see you. Lady luck really smiled on him today, so why does it feel like he's fucking it up? What does he lack? What's wrong with him? Hadn't he grown into a better man now? Older and wiser, kinder and smarter? You break his train of thought when you suddenly tell him that it was time for you to go, you still had family to visit. He silently curses himself for letting you sit in silence with him, when he had this chance to talk to you again. He just mods politely, tells you that it was nice to see you again, and maybe you both should go out to catch up again sometime. You nod and agree: "Here's my number if you want to contact me König." Althought taken aback by your boldness, he eagerly takes your number. "Here's mine. See you here, same time, same place, in two days?" You agree and say your goodbyes to him, little did he know, he should've cherished this time better, as it would be the last time he ever got to see and hear you again.

The two days went by so slow. He was still processing the fact that he actually got to see you again. "Should I wear something nicer today?" He thought. "No, it's just a casual talk over coffee. Nothing special." He opted for a white button-up shirt and rolled up the sleeves, paired with dark jeans and leather shoes. At least he looked presentable enough. At the same time as yesterday, he drove to the café. He sat down in the sane spot as yesterday, patiently waiting for you. After he waited around 20 minutes, he decided to text you."Hey y/n, are you okay? I'm waiting at the café for you. If you are running late, it's okay, just lmk." Simple, yet to the point. He waited about 10 minutes for you to reply or call him, but there was nothing. Anxiously, his thoughts started to waver and think the worst. Maybe it was your plan all along, to get him to trust you, and then to hurt him like this. No, you wouldn't do that; you never were that kind of person. He knew he needed to stop being so insecure and worried, so instead, he decided to drive to your family to check on you instead.

It was a short drive, from the café to your family house, which he remembered was on a small but peaceful street. Driving by, he saw it; it was the same as he remembered in his teenage days; small yet cozy, you had a younger brother that most likely already moved out too. The house had all sorts of flora and greens growing outside of it. Your parents had a passion for gardening and always kept everything presentable. Parking his car on the side of the street, he got out and made his way up the steps of your family house. Nervously, he knocked on the front door a few times, anxiously waiting for someone to answer the door.

After a few minutes of worrying and anxious thinking, your mom opened the door, looking distraught and her eyes a bit red. "Hello Mrs.l/n, how are you? I came to check up on y/n after she didn't show up to our...catch up day today.". He was so nervous about talking to your mom again, fearing she would get mad and shut the door on him since you guys weren't a thing anymore. Instead, she looked a bit relieved, but tears started welling up in her eyes. "K-könig, it's so nice to see you again... It's y-y/n, she...she got into a car crash just half an hour ago. She told me she was on her way to see you." His heart dropped. "W-What, Mrs.l/n, are you sure? Y-y/n can't really be....gone? Right?" He was shaking now, stuttering through his words. "I wish I was lying too König, but we just found out too, after the police called us.". No!no! This can't be! After all those years of missing you, he got his chance to talk to you again, and now you leave again? It can't be true! "Would you like to come in and have a seat König? I'll make a cup of tea for you, " she sniffled. Still shocked, he nodded and went inside your house. The smell and feeling of your presence hit him like a train. He couldn't help but let tears well up in his eyes, nose starting to run. Your mom gently pats his shoulders as she leads him to sit down at the dinner table.

After he was seated, she started to make some tea in a kettle: "she had missed you a lot." She told him suddenly. Shocked, König looked up at her from his hands, "she did?". "Yes, she told me yesterday night about how she ran into you at her favorite café, and how you hadn't changed much. She said you reminded her of home." Fuck. He started crying harder now, after he heard what your mother told him. You really missed him? And all this time he was worried about what he did. You truly were a kind soul. Your mom turned around and gave him a hug. "I know it's hard König, I know you must have missed her too. Otherwise, why could you have come all the way to our house to check up on her?" He shifted, agreeing with what she said. "She would've been very happy to hear that you still care about her this much, after all these years.". He started bawling now. He didn't care if it was embarrassing. He didn't care if he wasn't manly anymore. All he wanted to do was to mourn for you, for the soul mate he lost. For the one who slipped from his fingers all the time.

Your mom continued: "After the police are done investigating who the driver that ran into her was, and after they...they gather her body... we will be having a funeral for her. We would be happy if you'd come." "Yes, yes, I will be attending her funeral, Mrs.l/n." "Good, she would have wanted you to. Would you like to stay here for tonight?" She asked kindly. "Thank you for the offer, Mrs.l/n, but I think I should go and think about everything." "I understand König, but you are welcome back here anytime okay?" He nodded, thanked her for the tea, and went about his way home.

On the drive back to his home, he couldn't stop the waterworks from coming. He was never the type to cry so hard, especially not over someone. But you, you had been different. You bad been someone special, someone he held dear.

Now that you're gone, he doesn't know what to do. He was probably going to drink his night away and reminiscence all the good times you guys had together.

The day of the funeral came back. All your friends and family were gathered together on a gloomy, cloudy day. The sky looked like it dared everyone to go home, for it would start storming anytime soon. Looks like even the heavens were downcast from your death. He stood alongside your mom for the rest of the funeral. He brought your favorite flowers and set them on your gravestone solemnly. Silently, he promised to himself that he would never, ever love anyone unless it's you again.

In the glorious OP&Megs duo - does the cooking? Can they even cook? If OP made a dish for Megs - that turned out **horrendously bad** would Megs still eat it?

they both would be terrible at cooking their hunts—depending on who you ask. When Meg’s is on cooking duty, Optimus thinks the brute like to eat meat RAW really, Megs is hungry and impatient and a LITTLE RED isn’t gonna KILL YOU Orion.

When it’s Op’s turn, Meg’s think he would prefer the taste of leather compared to the sorry singed meal Orion whips up. Op’s meals are perfectly cooked through and no nothing is burningwhywouldyousay that he gets distracted okay, SOME ONE has to make sure they know where the map is heading for them tomorrow since SOME ONE thinks they’re too good to ask for directions. EVER.

They are disasters. The usual.

Then again, it’s a little hard to spruce up smth fancy when cooking day in and day out in the wilderness, lol they just kinda get by being on the move all the time. foraging is definitely up Meg’s alley since he’s been on his quest for far longer than Optimus has and knows what’s safe and what’s not. most of the time. he did once accidentally scrounge some rrreeeaallllllyyyy good mushrooms once 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 not much traveling done for a while after that meal PHEWWW.

Megs grew up not caring much for taste, only making sure he had enough for proper energy and that definitely played well into his time in the gladiator pits as well, he’s not accustomed to anything fancy. but that DEFINITELY doesn’t mean he isn’t a fan!! But he’s always been extremely particular about his wines and drinks this has literally never changed lol

Optimus grew up around feasts and posh parties while being part of the noble houses! He has more of a sweet tooth and enjoyed the dessert tables rather than diving into anything else aside from the wine

Regardless of what they’ve been used to, both mutually agree that their rations taste like chalk, and 99% of the time just say screw it and scrounge up what they can to treat themselves to tavern meal

tony stark would love puss in boots the last wish.

spoilers if u havent see the movie, which u should, its SO GOOD

He would be reluctant to watch it, and i feel like peter would drag him into it, but by the end I’m sure he’d have shed a few tears. He’s not heartless, after all.

As a movie that deals with puss, who faces death, and the legacy he leaves behind (one scene which deals with this that I think would rly hit home is the scene where puss is talking to his last lives and they talk about the Legend like it's everything, and the memory of puss racing past the setting sun is brought up not for the first time. Except, this time, puss only thinks about lonely nights in the rain with no one by his side and says, "was the Legend so big there wasn't room for anyone else?", Which I totally think Tony would draw to Iron Man, and how doing something so dangerous drove away Pepper, much like puss’s love for adventure and the Legend pushed kitty away) There's no way Tony doesn't see himself in puss, from his early years a lot like puss's life in the start of the movie, drunk and throwing parties, always in the limelight, and in a time of need, there's not really anyone he can turn to because he's pushed everyone away (with rhodey out a lot with the military, pepper not being able to handle the stress that comes with Iron Man, a feeling that no one else understands the whole superhero gig, and why he does it), he’d see pepper in kitty, badass and scary when she wants to be, but kind at heart. How she knows what she wants and how to get it. He’d see peter in perrito, overwhelming innocence, and unfathomable optimism, even though he knows how cruel the world can be, both peter and perrito still want to help people.

Tony knows what he does is dangerous. Every time he faces a new threat, defends new york against whatever the threat is, he knows he could die. Puss’s desperation to get his lives back so he can live up to the Legend and be who he feels he’s supposed to is something Tony would no doubt relate to, and don’t get me started on the panic attack puss has after seeing death. He’s not supposed to be afraid, it’s one of the first lines in the whole movie, and puss sings a whole song about it, yet he’s running from something only he seems to be able to see. That scene where Tony has a panic attack for the first time and he’s all like “me?” because he’s Tony Stark, who doesn’t get panic attacks, because why would he? The desperation puss has when kitty tosses him the map after seeing death in the caverns is a fear only he knows, like the fear that comes with knowing he wont always succeed, that he hasn’t always succeeded. Kitty and perrito haven’t seen death, haven’t had the whole “never been touched by a blade” comment tossed out the window within their first meet. The fight with death on the wishing star is something Tony knows he does every time he puts on the suit, that he, too, is on his last life and might not come home to pepper and peter like puss got the chance to with kitty and perrito.

The little talk perrito gives puss about how he’s only ever had one life, but spending it with puss and kitty made it as amazing as it is would totally remind Tony of something peter might’ve said to him in the past, and the acceptance puss has at the end of the movie, still leading a life of adventure, but perhaps with less risk, surrounded by those he cares for would for sure leave a lasting impression on Tony as the movie comes to a close.

reeq: tart's ears, they're v expressive, much more than her face. and she always wears beautiful earrings that complement her outfits, seeing them is always such a treat. also she's awfully ticklish there >:3c it's the most fun for teasing

5. what personality trait do they love the most about each other?

tart: reeq's strength of will. despite everything, he knows his duty and sees it done at all costs. he never gives up on what he wants to do even when everyone else gives up on him. tart finds this side of him admirable

reeq: tart's considerateness. she gives everyone the time of day, even while being the hero who must save the world. she cares a lot about so many people; she helps everyone however she can; she gives those who wrong her a second chance, always; she pays attention and sees you for who you truly are. there are many, many more things to admire about tart; reeq chooses the one she doesn't see

6. what random everyday object/activity makes them think of each other?

tart: she keeps a drawing of reeq in her journal (drawn by alphinaud) and looks at it every night :)

reeq: the sun, the moon, and every star on the night sky!!! tfw your gf restored the day/night cycle of the world so every sunrise and sunset remind you of her :'3 (the other hunters find him so insufferable, yes)

7. what is something they'd want to change about the other if they could?

tart: reeq doesn't give up on anything... except his relationships to others. he's quick to assume that one mistake burns the entire bridge at once and ends up severing friendships that could've been mended. tart wishes he'd see more value in himself and not think everyone wants to discard him when they see fit...

reeq: tart's considerateness very rarely extends to herself. she gives up far too much far too willingly and has no limits. having "selfish motives" does not matter if the thing it motivates you to do is sacrificing your life for the sake of the world!! it's still extremely selfless and insane and you shouldn't have done it!!! also you need to eat more, make time for meals before helping people!!!!!

8. do they get along with each other's friends and family?

tart: oh yeah she thinks of ms olvara and the virtue hunters as family. she's so fond of them and comes to visit everyone often. actually when reeq moved to the crystarium to join the hunters tart scolded him for leaving ms olvara alone but it was actually for the best bc reeq isn't good at keeping up w chores and is just adding to her housework... she loves him but just move out already son....

reeq: he finds the scions kinda.. intimidating... he doesn't wanna butt into tart's relationships and is content watching from afar

9. do their friends and family like their significant other?

tart: uhh not really;;;; the scions overall don't rly know reeq and don't care to, lol. alphinaud is the only one who's gotten to know reeq and likes him. as for family... well they can't meet bc of the "living in different worlds" situation. but if they do... man i should ramble abt this in another post but the gist of it is that hubert adores reeq and would adopt him as a son. why? because this is the funniest outcome possible and i write lore based on comedy first and foremost

reeq: definitely, ms olvara adores tart and the virtue hunters are her besties too

10. have they had romantic partners before?

tart: yes, she had 3 partners before reeq. and is still casually seeing one of them (kurenai) after getting together w him

reeq: no, he's gone on dates and had sex w others but no one that can be called a romantic partner. before tart his relationships were pretty much all transactional (what about lanbyrd? well. i always call him reeq's ex but honestly i'm undecided. maybe his feelings were unrequited by reeq, and though lanbyrd thought of him as a romantic partner it didn't go both ways)

okay my unqualified too-long layman's opinions on rover (mini album) kai after 2 full listens and watching the video and looking up translations :

rover's pretty good! i like the salsa-y beat and the electronic complications on the acoustic sounds (like those woodwind and marimba loops that sounds straight out of a vaguely tropical-themed adventure game cd-rom) but halfway through i found myself getting bored!! but then with that lil spoken word part near the end it drew me back in to enjoying myself. first listen had me a bit underwhelmed but the second time i heard so many more of the production details. it was fun! and after seeing the mv i like it more. of course the choreo.... oh im going to RUN to the dance practice when it comes out. ugh the fits are so fun as well

black mirror is kinda naursty in like a good way i love it. the 'eugh. i don't need your attention.' the backing vocals. the noncommittal beat. YA and after seeing the lyrics im like damn maybe i should log off. king

sadly did not quite enjoy slidin'. it brings me back to listening to top 40 radio on my mp3 player a decade ago but in a bad way... like.... cheesy but i don't enjoy it. actually wait on second listen it's good up until the 50 second mark. the chorus ruins it for me..... man :(

in conclusion i like what i see wrt the overall vibes of the sounds on this album, and i respect it (reminding me of sounds from pop music around 2010 and mixing em up with the silky intensity i expect from kai's vocals), but i'm not there yet. i didn't really like that music the first time around, i don't love it now. i totally vibe to the production sounding like it's coming out of someone's car radio when the bass buzzes in slidin' and say you love me, but the pop music i feel like its revering wasn't rly my cup of tea to begin with... but it's a v solid mini with a clear vision and execution

Hi, it's me again!! i'm the king of consistency...

For real though.... Maybe this is the day i can turn my life around, somewhat. If i could really stick my mind to it.

Today I woke up pretty early, early enough to do a 1 hour walk around the neighborhood (impressive for me who's lived a sedentary lifestyle for almost 5 years now). I just started back on my diet yesterday, so I think if i can keep up this, the exercise and the diet, that's kind of a leg up (real) from my usual state... (I also have ringfit adventure collecting dust because at the time, I had been obsessed with splatoon. currently i'm not anymore so yknow, maybe this is the right time to replace my gaming addiction. i've just forced myself into recovery from corekeeper)

But anyway on to the thing that made me come back here in the first place.

Somehow between the 2(is it 2?) years since I left this blog to mold, 2 miracles happened.

I got a girlfriend, long distance. Haven't met her yet. She's so cute tho. I love her. I was someone who believed myself to be aromantic, and it's the first time love happened to me. It's wonderful. It's great, even tho my life and future is all weird and I fantasize about disappearing from my parents' general conscience so I can have the life I want with her. It's the first time heartbreak happened to me too, because I discovered recently she has some form of depression (an assumption bc she says its not rly, but I kinda feel like it's something similar), and it hurt that much to know that I can't do anything to help someone I love. God. It was terrible. Like, when I was thinking about it, it hurt physically. But that's why I'm here lol, bc I realize I can't count on her to be an outlet for my entire existence while she's in such a fragile state. I really hope she feels better.

Yuutsumu. It's a ship. It's a ship that I ship like never before. What makes it so special is: its an oc ship which is pretty unprecedented in Snuby history. It's me and my girlfriends' and I think the way it happened is as magical as the actual relationship. There's so much I want to say about it, they're always in my head and I'm always thinking of what more to do with them. It might need a separate post. It might need books, novels, doujin, a game...

I think this writing thing must be relaxing because even tho I'm still kinda crying I already forgot what I was doing here lol. But yea, it's therapeutic. Up until my early uni days, I kept a diary and I think I just really liked writing in it.

But anyway, I was thinking maybe this should be a daily log of what I did during the day, what I plan to do, and how I'm feeling.

This morning I found out I was zoning out last night and threw out a caesar salad that I was looking forward to having :( Mom got me sate padang tho. So i ate that with a banana protein shake. I'm still drinking the shake. These things are kinda hefty.

But anyway. Maybe midday or evening ringfit sesh? I'm thinking I should get about 2 hours of exercise every day, so one in the morning one later. I don't know what I'll have for lunch yet, but I really want carbonara ramyun lmao. so it'll be that, and veggies in the evening.

As for my gf, I want to keep talking to her as normal and as unconditionally as I can. I hope that it can be a reminder that I still love her and think about her and I won't stop ,...

I honestly don’t think for me - dating a lot is necessary. I already know what kind of person I am, and who I’m looking for. I need someone to remind me to love myself, I want someone to be fully committed to me before getting intimate. in the beginning, I don’t rly expect them to pay for me, or invest so much in me. I’m ok with doing 50/50 for a while at first. Only if we get deeper in the relationship and if I start to trust you more, I’ll let you pay for me/do more for me. And I’d do more for you too. I like doing things for myself tbh.

Intimacy wise, I know what I like and what I’d wanna explore more of with the right person, they just have to be a very good listener.

Life wise, I know the direction I need to go in, and they have to be going in a similar direction.

I know how I’d want to feel in a relationship: comfortable, free to express myself, supported, happy, inviting happiness in our lives. Friends, trust, honesty. I want to have no doubts. Our relationship can’t only be us isolated. I want to be around trustworthy, fun, funny, smart, artistic, good listening, depth, communicative, honest, self aware friends.

Sometimes I want it to be just us two tho.

I want our relationship to benefit other people around us too.

They need to have a giving heart.

Id want the relationship to be adventurous, fully of exciting, happy moments. Very few sad moments, very few mad moments.

He needs to communicate clearly with me too.

I need to be growing as a person inside the relationship, it can not be stagnant. It should push us to grow to be our happiest selves. For ourselves first, for each other, and for other people.

We need to always be learning in general.

We need to never fall on hard times financially. I am good with personal finances, I’m frugal like all the time lol, I’m not a huge spender, I like to make food, I like thrifting, buying secondhand, finding the best deals, I don’t like physical things or brand names. I love to save for traveling, investments, and education. I can start a biz and make some serious $ if I wanted to. I want them to be the same, being smart with money.

I want a genuinely happy lowkey life.

I want the ultimate cuddle buddy

I want to pick a job that I absolutely love that brings me joy, with great people, and something I can evolve with. Even if it doesn’t make $ in the beginning. I want them to choose a job they love too. That brings them true happiness.

Break my trust once and you’re done. I don’t do second chances. I don’t even do second chances in friendships tbh. You have to be careful and gentle with me.

I don’t care to get free meals from first dates, if I don’t like them, the meal could be $500 and it still wouldn’t be worth my time.

however, if I do like them, we can do almost anything and I’ll be happy. I don’t tend to meet someone in person until I’ve texted them for a while, or if I felt like I could trust this person.

hi it's been a while since ive posted some hcs bc uni has been kicking my a$$! luckily i only have a few papers to tidy up and im done. here r some hcs for each obey me character that ive accumulated over the past few months wink wonk

i have a strong feeling that he showers twice a day: in the morning after waking up and at night before going to bed

his cologne is probably the type that will last in an elevator for like a week after he uses it once. i dont think this mf ever smells like anything other than his cologne

has a secret folder on his phone of semi-nudes and other scandalous pics from when he felt sexy at the time omg

aside from demon language/eng/jp he can speak french and knows latin

listens to classical stuff yea but he also listens to diavolos mixtapes (re: diavolo's section)

not a fan of sweets but will eat sweet things when craving

really bland sense of humor...borderline cringey 😭✋🏻

mammon

has gone to google images and searched for "inspirational quotes tumblr" "gold aesthetic tumblr" & "relatable crush post tumblr" then reposts it onto his socials or just taps thru them and giggles bc he relates

his cologne doesnt last as long as lucifers and probably smells common. he has to reapply a lot but it's a people pleasing smell. it's cheaper hence the constant reapplying

he probably does have an expensive bottle but is the type to totally overspray...eek

he is canonically a car guy 🥲 and probably tells the one in his room good morning & good night + kisses the hood every once in a while. has tons of car magazines

he doesnt really speak other languages but has attempted to learn spanish before

listens to whatever is on the radio. doesnt rly stan anyone but he eventually will listen to mc's playlist and mc's playlist ONLY

lurks on mc's socials ALL THE TIMEEEE like he will rewatch ur stories and scroll thru ur feed and overanalyze ur tweets/rts or blog posts. if ur mc isnt the type to use sns much he still googles ur name all the damn time just to find any sites u might be on fjdjdjdjskks

probably streams on whatever youtube or twitch devildom site equivalent there is, but only has like 40 or so followers. which he is okay with!

until he sees someone else who gets more attention than him. then the envy starts kicking in bad. especially if they suck 🧍🏻‍♀️

classic gamer boy smell. you know, sweat, tears, must, and (sometimes) axe deodorant. lucifer has to do a scent check before he goes out to any event & lets him use his cologne. how sweet!

cried when ioi disbanded and refused to leave his room. the only thing u could hear was downpour on loop at full blast

he's sooooo bad at driving...gets road rage way too often so his license has been REVOKED

but hes totally a backseat driver. needs to be sedated on long trips

do not let him watch finding nemo when luke asks to watch it. it's not worth it. he will cause mass destruction.

if he was a human or lived long term in the human world he totally has the ability to be a doctor

is studying as many languages as possible, but he mostly knows latin & french & german etc etc. wants to learn all the dead languages out of curiousity

dont think this mf has ever held down a relationship. ever

his smell varies bc he uses a variety of perfumes (whatever is the most popular at the time) but he probably sticks to floral and fresh scents. he never uses generic people pleaser scents like mammon

as for languages he too knows french, spanish, italian, etc. in general, if it's a romance language he knows it!

he can drive and he drives really well. no rough turns, parallel parks perfectly, and never has problems with merging

dont think hes really fluent in any other language but hes probably semi fluent in korean because levi wanted beel to help him out

his first pet was a goldfish and a few months before the exchange program happened, he was given a koi pond!
