A snippet of chap 23 for being oh so nice to me during this entire time <3
"As hot as you are right now," Y/n said over a dopey grin and flushed cheeks "The smell of sweat makes the redstone cinnamon smell stronger and I'm doing everything in my power not to sneeze in your face."
As this story comes to an end, before I release the ending, im gonna take some time to write all of them so it can be as perfect as I need it.
Thank you for being around to read my funky little story.
I can't wait to start anew once im done with this (and the one shots) and new love interests
I'm so sorry im taking so long with everything. One shots will come out faster once im down with SoB. Promise.
Much love, Luna

Maybe you should've guessed what it meant when the sea started retreating and a huge wave built up more by the second. But somehow it seemed so surreal that you didn't. You clung to the thought that it was an optical illusion, after all there was no way a tsunami would hit that one time you're at the pier.
Now moments later you regret not running faster, earlier or simply finding a spot to hide. You're pulled under the surface every few seconds, swallowing mouthfuls of salty seawater that makes your nose burn and eyes blur.
You're choking when you're swept against a hard object, it's sharp edge digging into your waist. “Fuck!” you curse, though it ends in a gurgle when more water sweeps over you.
When you resurface you're facing an object that turns out to be a sunken fire truck. The red is striking against the blue and Grey around you and you could cry at relief when you manage to hoist yourself onto it.
You're exhausted, your side hurts and you're dizzy. Your phone is useless, the water having destroyed the technology. Cursing, you pocket it again and lean back. You're about to relax, aware that it could take hours for emergency services to reach you when you hear high pitched screaming. You look up, just in time to see someone with a yellow sweater being pulled towards you with the current, screaming at the top of their lungs.
“Jesus,” you swear and crawl to the edge of the truck, yelling to get their attention with your arm reached out as far as possible.
You almost faint when the person turns around and a small child looks at you, red glasses full of water and messy brown hair. He's crying, reaching out as he's struggling to stay afloat.
“Hey! I'm here, grab my hand!” You yell and lean over the ledge as far as you could. As soon as you saw that little boy you knew you'd jump after him if he couldn't grab your hand now.
“I got you, sweetheart, come on!”
Your assurance seems to help and he kicks his legs, managing to move closer to where you are. In a split second you grab his hand and pull him over the railing and onto the truck, holding the little boy close to your chest in relief.
“Thank you,” he mumbles, coughing a little as he adjusts his glasses. You try to look as calm and collected as possible, gently smiling at him and beckoning him further away from the railing and rushing water.
“Are you okay? Does anything hurt?” He shakes his head, biting his lip as he looks out at the water again. He must've been with someone else, you guess when he sits up at every piece floating by.
“Are you looking for someone?” You ask gently and he nods. He slowly speaks, hands fidgeting in his lap, “B-Buck. He's a firefighter.”
You stop yourself from cooing at this adorable child and nod, “We're gonna find him, okay? Just stay here and it'll be okay.”
He looks worried but slowly nods. You go back to sitting between him and the railing, looking out for anyone else.
Just as you spot someone, the small boy moves rapidly and pulls your shirt, “Buck! It's Buck!” He stutters loudly.
You whip your head back around to the rushing water and try thinking of a way to save him too. You couldn't just grab his hand, he would probably just pull you off the truck and you wouldn't risk leaving the kid by himself.
“Shit,” You mumble as you look for a way to help the man, the boy desperately crying out for ‘Buck’ behind you.
It seems you don't need to do much when something slams into the truck and seconds later the man pulls himself up and next to you.
And, damn. He was attractive. His dark blonde curls stick to his forehead as his blue eyes fixate on you and then the boy, strong arms holding him up as a smile builds on his lips, “Christopher!”
You move a bit as the two reunite, the boy- Christopher throwing his arms around the man's neck and giggling wildly.
You watch with a smile, the adorable sight momentarily distracting you from the tsunami keeping not just you but these two strangers trapped on top of a fire truck.
He turns around after a minute, keeping Christopher in his lap as he looks at you. He clears his throat and nods, “Thank you for saving him.” You shake your head and wave your hand in dismissal, unsure how to deal with compliments.
“No, really. I was going crazy when I couldn't find him,” his eyes are fixed on your face and you blame the heat creeping up your neck onto the temperature changes from the water and sun, smiling nervously. “It's all good. Your son is a sweetheart.”
He chuckles, “He definitely is. Though he's not my son,” he mentions, poking the boy's side when he mumbles something. You quickly nod, embarrassed. “Sorry, I shouldn't have assumed-” he shakes his head and a relaxed smile sets on his face.
“It's fine, don't worry. Did you have any luck reaching 911?” You shake your head and hold up your broken phone, screen flickering sadly as you do. He sighs and brushes a hand through his hair (you try not to stare at the hot sight because wow, what are the odds of meeting such an attractive man in the middle of a tsunami?).
“We're probably just gonna have to wait. It'll take time to get boats and units here. It probably looks like this everywhere,” he explains and you tilt your head in surprise before remembering that the kid had mentioned he's a firefighter. Meaning he knew the protocols.
“Right. Christopher mentioned you're a firefighter.” You smile when the boy perks up, a seemingly never faltering smile on his face. “Guess I'm lucky to be stuck with you. Safest I could be.” You shrug, a bashful smile on your face.
“Buck will s-save us all,” Christopher proclaims proudly and you coo at the cute boy. The man now seems a bit uneasy and sighs before his eyes widen, “Shit, right, I'm Evan. Everyone just calls me Buck, though.” You shake his outstretched hand and introduce yourself in turn, biting your lip as a nervous habit.
“So you're a firefighter?” You prompt curiously.
“It's a bit complicated right now…” He sighs, a frown setting on his forehead. You're about to apologize for overstepping when Christopher speaks up again, “He threw up blood.”
Your eyes widen and Evan- Buck pinches the boys’ side in reprimand. “Blood clots,” he elaborates as he looks at your slightly shocked expression. You hum sympathetically before realizing something. “Wait. You were the one trapped under that fire truck? On the news?”
He chuckles (which makes him even more attractive, what the actual fuck?) and nods, “Yep, that's me.”
You grimace in sympathy at the memory and automatically glance at his leg, “Is it all healed? You don't have to talk about it, it's fine if you don't-” he waves you off assuringly, looking relaxed.
“It's fine, don't worry. Yeah it healed fine, had some physical therapy and stuff but now I have blood clots kicking my a- butt.” He stops himself from cursing with Christopher on his lap and you almost smile at the adorable expression of confusion on the kid's face, when Buck presses his hands over both of his ears and whispers what he was originally going to say.
You laugh at the two and a relaxed and almost light atmosphere surrounds the three of you, momentarily disregarding your situation.
“It's kind of ironic isn't it?” He starts and you tilt your head in question. “You saved me, a firefighter, by pulling me onto a fire truck,” he elaborates and you can't help but chuckle, “Right. It should've been the other way around,” you sarcastically add and he holds up his hands in mock surrender.
You relax back against the railing, your eyes drawn to Buck again just to notice him already looking at you. You cock your head questioningly and he bites his lip before grinning, “Sorry, you're just- like, really beautiful.”
Your jaw drops momentarily before you compose yourself and hide behind your hands, “Stop! Geez,” you laugh and he does as well. You exaggerate a shake of your head as you look at Christopher who giggles happily and exclaims, “He likes you!”
Now both you and Buck fluster as he continues, “He's always angry but n-now he's happy.” You notice the small struggle of getting his words out but you couldn't care less, you'd wait hours for this sweetheart to finish a sentence if you had to.
“Oh, really?” You ask in mock surprise and he eagerly nods before Buck intervenes, “Woah, Woah. I'm not always angry. Just.. grumpy.” Christopher makes it a point to look at him and then at you, rolling his eyes and shaking his head which makes it hard to refrain from laughing.
When Christopher busies himself with leaves floating around them Buck lowers his voice a bit as he speaks to you again, “Don't get the wrong impression it’s just, it’s hard. Not being able to work, saving people and all that.”
You nod quickly, “No worries. I’d go insane if I was in your place. I’m guessing they’re keeping you from really doing anything ‘dangerous’?” You ask, careful in case of him wanting to change the subject.
He nods and drops his head back against a siren light, “It is. They’re trying to put me behind a desk! I mean, I’m supposed to be out here, saving lives, fighting fires. That’s my purpose.” He frowns and you hum to show that you’re listening.
“I know they just want me to recover, but…”
“It feels like they’re holding you back?” You finish for him. He chuckles in surprise at the accuracy of what you said and nods.
“I’m probably in no place to tell you this, but trust me, it’s worth it. Get better, do the light work and sooner than you think you’ll be back doing what you love. But if you start now and ignore your health.. it’s going to catch up with you. And it’ll be way worse than a few weeks behind a desk.”
He looks thoughtful for a moment before slowly nodding, “You're right. Thank you.” You smile and put a hand on his leg, making sure he doesn’t mind before adding, “I mean look at you, crushed by an entire ladder truck and you’re up and running already.”
“I’m just that great,” he sarcastically pats his own shoulder and you both break into laughter.
-
You don't know if it's been minutes, seconds or hours when you wake up, laying on top of destroyed concession stands and other things. Something is digging into your back, your leg is awkwardly bent and your ears are ringing.
Groaning you sit up, wincing in pain when a sharp pain strikes through your back at the movement.
Around you is just more trash and destroyed cars, you see an arm laying on one of the cars and decide to avert your eyes as quick as possible for your own sake.
Every step hurts but you keep going; walking through the flooded streets with your eyes looking for either of the two boys you’d spent earlier with or other survivors.
The sun is starting to set and you’re starting to get hopeless. You have no clue where you were, completely disoriented as you pass houses that look entirely the same. Your phone is useless and you’re alone. Shouldn’t you have met at least one person by now?
Your back has gone practically numb, same as your leg, when you see faraway lights in the distance. Your steps get quicker as you see people and to your utter relief firefighters. You don’t know if the tears in your eyes are of joy or utter despair from what happened but you couldn’t care less when a man with short, brown hair spots you and approaches.
You’re trying to walk closer when a small voice somewhere close stops you. You’re not sure if it’s your imagination but you turn around, squinting your eyes in the darkness. And then you see it. A small boy, waddling your way with his arms stretched out like he couldn’t see.
Could it be..?
“Christopher?” You see his head perk up and he tries going faster, stumbling over his own feet. Your heart drops in relief and you gather your last strength to run to him, “Hey, you remember me right?” He nods and you note the missing glasses.
“There’s help, come on,” you point out but he doesn’t look happy. He looks almost angry, “Buck.” You had almost forgotten about the charming firefighter. But your priority right now was Christopher.
“We’re gonna find him. Let’s get you help first,” you say with fake enthusiasm in your voice. He doesn’t look okay with that but stays silent and you awkwardly wrap your arms around him after making sure he’s okay and lift him into your arms.
It’s hard to avoid any obstacles while walking but you manage, seeing the brown haired man from a few minutes ago still there.
“Hey! I need help! It’s a kid!” You yell.
He waves you over while walking towards you and as soon as you can actually see him you’re once again surprised. What was it with these firefighters and their good looks? Jesus.
When he’s close enough you nudge Christopher, “There’s help, he’s gonna make sure you’re okay,” you nod at the man and he stands still before running the last feet over to you, basically ripping the child from you.
“Chris!” He cries, clutching the kid with all his might. Oh, this must be his father.
You smile, relieved that they found each other. He looks up at you with gratitude, “Thank you so much. Thank you.” You just smile.
“He’s found us himself. I couldn’t find him after..” you don’t even know what happened- you just know you passed out and woke up alone. Sighing you rub your temples and shake your head.
“You should get checked out, too. You’re barely walking,” the medic (you guess) advises. You take in the people behind him, the full cots and stressed professionals. “I’m okay. There’s people that need more help,” you nod.
He frowns and shakes his head, “I could tell you at least two injuries of yours that need treatment. Come on.” He nods his head in the direction of one of the tents and you chuckle but follow him. At least you try to. Four more steps and your legs give out, you clutch a random person's arm to prevent your fall, mumbling a sorry when they just barely catch you.
The ringing in your ears is back and you groan when you’re laid on one of the cots, your back protesting painfully.
Your vision is blurry and you can’t understand what’s being said - what the hell was happening to you?
-
“Wait, she’s- she was with me and Chris.” Eddie looks up in confusion as he hooks you up to an IV, checking your pupils with a small torch. “What?”
Buck nods, “Yeah, she saved Chris and then me. When the last wave happened she was swept away- we were all swept away.”
Eddies brows furrow and she looks down at you, your hair a damp mess, clothes dirty and bloody. “She saved Chris?” His best friend nods and crouches down next to you - Eddie notes the pained groan he tries to conceal as he does so - extending a hand and awkwardly patting your shoulder.
“Will she be okay?”
Eddie's answer is interrupted when you open your eyes and wince at the lights surrounding the tent.
“Hey, you feeling okay?” Buck asks before Eddie can get a word out, and you almost faint again seeing these two fine men looking down at you with concern. Great first impression, you think.
“Feel like I was in a tsunami,” you grunt and both of them laugh a bit. A third voice pops up next to you, “We were in one, silly.” Leaning over your head and looking upside down at you was Christopher, a smile on his face.
You huff a laugh and hum, “You’re right. Smart boy.”
Eddie looks at Buck at the exchange and he just shrugs with a grin. Chris walks to Eddie and leans into his side, eyes still on you.
“Is there something on my face, or..?” You ask half joking as three pairs of eyes stay trained on you.
“Just beauty,” Buck grins and there’s a second of silence before Eddie gags and rolls his eyes, “That’s so creepy, díos.” You laugh as Buck tries defending himself, simply looking just as cute to you as earlier.

The Birthday Boy
Jenna Ortega x Autistic!Male!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You finally get to celebrate your birthday for the first time, and with the one you love.
Words: 1552
Y/N POV
Today is my birthday. I've never really celebrated it; family never really bothered. Now that I'm older it just seemed more insignificant. No one to celebrate it with, and let's be honest and no one wants to celebrate it on their own.
Jenna was out working, I never told her when my birthday was because I didn't want to interrupt her filming schedule, she's already got enough on her plate she doesn't need to worry about getting me gifts for my birthday she has a career to grow.
I've turned 20 today; Jenna turning 21soon. 20 years feel a bit surreal not gonna lie, crazy to think it's been that long since I was born. I try not dwell on that to much, it'll just send me spiralling.
I do wish I had a good birthday though, the feeling of being celebrating. I know this may sound narcissistic, but I always wanted to be celebrated, have a day just about me. I wanted to feel like everyone could come together and show support for me even if it was just for one day, I never had that kind of love growing up so I'd like to know what that's like, though I doubt it'll happen.
My father never paid any attention to me growing up, saying I was too much of a hassle to put up with. You know you have a bad parent when they have to "put up" with you  instead of loving you unconditionally, but hey beggars can't be choosers, right?
Me thinking about how life could've been was making me depressed so I decided to go out for breakfast, I got dressed and got the keys to my car and went out get food.
On the way there I get an incoming call from Jenna, thought she would've been busy this morning so this was a pleasant surprise. I answered but kept my eyes on the road.
"Hello darling, how'd you sleep" she asked, she knows I don't sleep well when she's gone.
"Um... I slept okay, probably could've got more sleep though. I'm just going to that Italian place we went to a month ago for some breakfast. How's shooting going" I asked, she's currently filming for her new movie 'death of a unincorn' with Paul Rudd.
"Filming's going great, Paul's really cool and I can't wait for you to meet him, he's knows you're a marvel fan too." She giggles mischievously, that little minx.
"Jenna why'd you say that." I whine feeling embarrassed.
"Aw babe, don't be shy he thinks you're really cool." She says reassuringly.
"Yeah sure he does" I say sarcastically, making her laugh. "Do you know when you'll be home?" I miss her dearly, I need to see her soon.
She let's out a sigh, I brace myself for bad news. "Sorry, sweet boy. I won't be back for another week." I let out sad sigh and a whine, I missed her alot.
"Hey, hey, don't be upset baby boy, I'll be home before you know it and we'll have so much fun together. The week will go by quick I promise." She cooed, she always knew what to say to put me at ease.
"Alright sweetie I have to go, drive safe for me and I'll see you very soon." She blew a kiss through the phone "I love you, sweetheart"
"I love you too, Jenna." We end the call and I continue my journey.
I arrive at the restaurant, this is gonna drain my social battery for today so I hope I don't have to to anyone that much, I just wanna get my food, eat then leave.
I ate my food peacefully, the staff were wonderful, definitely going there again for breakfast. I leave the restaurant and do some birthday shopping for myself, figured I may aswell treat myself to something nice for my "big day"; I sound miserable.
I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I feel my phone vibrate, a few text messages from some of my friends and cast mates from scream 5 and 6. I read them and I was shocked, how did they know...
Jasmin
Hey Y/N/N, hope you're having a lovely birthday. Can't wait you see you soon.
Devyn
Howdy stranger, happy birthday my love, you're 20! Hope you're doing well and I'll see you soon... very soon. 😈
Mikey
Looks like someone has a birthday today... AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME! HOW DARE YOU! Besides that betrayal I miss you so much Y/N, happy birthday my sweet.
Mason
Hey man, looks who's 20 years old! Happy birthday bud, hope you have a good one.👍
Melissa
Hey hey, it's the birthday boy! Happy birthday honey, you deserve the best birthday in the world. All the best from me and my husband.
Jack Quaid
Hey buddy, happy 20th birthday! I miss you alot pal, Karl and Antony send their birthday wishes too. Hope to see you soon, buddy.
I was shocked; flabbergasted even. How did they know, they couldn't have possibly...unless. I looked the last message, it was from Jenna, the mastermind behind this.
❤️Jenna❤
Hi baby boy, guess who found out when your birthday is! You never told me when it was but I asked around and viola! Happy birthday sweet boy, I promise we'll see each other very very soon. I love you so much, sweetheart.❤
That little minx... this is why I love her so much, I can't begin to express how much I love her and this just solidifies that. I sent her a message back saying I love her and continue to the mall.
But as I walk to the shopping mall I see three woman who look very familiar, they're wearing party hats too. No... no way... it can't be...
Tumblr media
Jenna POV
The look on Y/N's face is priceless, he looked shocked, excited, and emotional at the same time. I think me, Jasmin and Devyn did good on surprising him.
"JENNA?!" He says with glassy eyes.
"C'mere sweetheart" I say and open my arms, he runs towards me and I wrap him in a tight hug.
"I missed you so much" he said while crying, he's such a cutie oh my god.
"Aww sweetie, I missed you too, so much honey. I've been tracking you on Life360 and we intercepted you here. Happy birthday my love, I know you don't like big crowds so I brought Devyn and Jasmin with me" they spoke up.
"Happy birthday, Y/N/N. It's so good to see you, I've missed you alot." Devyn says making him smile widely.
"It's been too long since we've seen you Y/N, how have you been?" Jasmin asks. He lifts his head from my neck and speaks.
"Better now that you guys are here, I haven't really been feeling the best since I've been on my own, I'm so glad you're here Jenna." I hold him and rub his back in comfort.
I want him to really enjoy his birthday today, I already have stuff waiting for him at home. I think he's gonna love it. "Let's go do some shopping and then we'll go home, I have a surprise for you." His eyes lit up and I kiss his cheeks.
- 2 hours later
Y/N drove behind me as we made our way back home. Jasmin and Devyn went home soon after we shopping. We park up to the driveway and he joins me at the front door.
"Close your eyes, birthday boy" I ask and he looks at me with caution.
"What are you planning now, Ortega?" He asks me; suspicion in his voice.
"Just close them silly" he obliged and I take his hand to guide him to his surprise. We reach the living room. "Okay, open your eyes sweetheart."
He opened them and is met with countless presents ranging from: action figures and Lego sets from their favourite franchise, new clothes, PC parts and much much more. I wanted to spoil him and make up for the 20 years of birthdays he missed out on. He looked like he was on the verge of tears.
"Jenna... is this all mine?" He asked, still not believing that he finally had a proper birthday.
"All yours, sweetness" I hug him as tight as I can, he cries into my shoulder out of, what I can only assume, happiness. "Don't cry honey, it's okay. That's all for you because I love you so so much, you deserve this my love, you deserve the world." I cooed softly.
"Thank you so much" he said through his cries.
"You're so welcome, my beautiful birthday boy." I say then kiss his forehead, cheeks and lips.
"Wait here, baby boy" I head into the kitchen and grab his cake. I light the candles and head back into the living room.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Y/N, happy birthday to you." I sing and he blows out his candles.
I cheer and set the cake on the table. He smiled so brightly, he finally got to have a real birthday to celebrate.
Happy birthday Y/N.
A/N
Not my birthday, but I thought it'd make a good story. I hope you enjoyed.

week of april 23rd, 2023
aries: you're post-eclipse but the vibes are still weird. the volatility has dissipated or at least will do so soon. but the consequences of any explosions still remain. accept and adjust.
taurus: welcome to the season of you. this week especially is particularly good for being "lazy" - which actually recharges you and is productive in an underappreciated way. let yourself be the role model.
gemini: odds are strong that you've had plenty worse mercury retrogrades in your life, even if we are right in the middle of an eclipse season. keep your protocols in place and try to be gentle with others in these strange times for brownie points with the universe.
cancerians: assess what has changed over the last week or two, and what is still in a state of flux, and what is stagnant but should change, or would be nice to change. you're not a mutable sign, but like the moon and the tides you're meant to be in cycles.
leo: your sign isn't a dominant energy at this time but what tension you experience this week is favorable in the end, and it probably doesn't take long for you to see how it helps.
virgo: yes mercury is retrograde and so is ceres, who definitely shares an affinity with your sign. so you're plodding along slowly. but if you're still playing the long game, no harm is done by a delay, whether it's externally imposed or strategic on your part.
libra: the week is not exactly harmonious for you but not hostile either. lingering effects of last week's eclipse may have you feeling like you're somehow under attack but keep reminding yourself, this is actually neutral territory for now.
scorpio: some sort of partnership or deal that seemed hyped at the eclipse seems more and more delayed now. it may still be fruitful but these things can't be rushed, rather let it ripen.
sagittarius: you can really go with the flow better than most anyone but if even you are having issues with it this week, bury yourself in any engaging task that needs doing. when you resurface it'll be to some new scene.
capricorn: it's a gently good time to pursue someone who would be in a partnership role with you, whatever type of partnership applies. but, of course, keep mercury retrograde protocols in mind as you go, especially when it comes to romance, love, or any creative activity.
aquarius: your private-public balance may be out of whack. get that sorted promptly to make your life easier. set healthy boundaries and all that. but don't expect to easily coast by even then, you're doing pluto now, after all.
pisces: you tend to be above the fray in a lot of astrologically turbulent situations simply by your deep connection with the unity of all things. the surreal nature of it suits you, even when it doesn't directly involve you, as is likely this week.

Lie To Me
An Aaron Hotchner x Reader series
Aaron Hotchner/Ozark crossover
THE END
Part 17 can be found here
Warnings: smut of all types, choking, edging, orgasm denial, implied squirting, a bit of Dom!Hotch--there's a bit of drama but the ending is a happy one.
Word Count: 11k
Moving in came easier than expected. Charlotte was staying behind, taking over the lease on the old house so she could have her own privacy, which meant you and Aaron would live alone for the first time in months. The day you moved in, you were both giddy like school children, waking up at the crack of dawn to start packing the last of your things.
Everything was situated at the house, you'd taken the weekend to make sure of it, organizing everything where you wanted it within reason, because there was still work left to do on the inside. The plumbing in the kitchen had to be finished, but now that it was complete, you were set to be able to live in your home.
"I'm so glad we've been able to get the majority of our stuff moved. It'll make for such an easy day," Aaron was wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans, something you always loved to see. He was already loading things into his SUV when you came outside with the last box, shutting the door behind you.
"This is everything," you told him, following him in your car to the house. It was a short drive, so Charlotte could come visit whenever she wanted, Jonah too. You were actually closer to Marty's house now that you'd moved. You were still in the woods by yourself, but Marty was one of your closest neighbors.
When you arrived, it felt surreal. You walked the property dozens of times in the past, but you never expected to own a home with the man you loved, perfecting and choosing every single detail with him. This time, it felt like you were coming home to stay, and your life could finally begin. It hadn't truly started until you fell in love with Aaron, and then things all came together and started to make sense. He'd been put on Earth just for you, and you were lucky to have found him when you did; otherwise, life would be really lonely without him.
"It's perfect!" Aaron exclaimed as you went inside to check everything out. Every single aspect of your new home had been personally crafted by the two of you, but even though someone else built it, it was your design, and you'd done everything together. You found him in the attic, your bedroom, which was gigantic compared to your old one. There were twin closets, since you both had a ton of clothes, one on either side of the door, all connected to the master bathroom. The entire top floor of your home was your bedroom, spacious and roomy as you looked around. Aaron was sprawled out on the new bed, waiting for you to come and join him.
"I love it," you told him, and he was quick to nod, opening his arms so he could gesture to the room.
"It's incredible. Even with the bed in here, we still have so much room," he pointed out, and he was right. It was more than spacious, and the two of you planned on filling the rooms with babies, as soon as you were ready to start trying. You were taking things slow, still on birth control for now, but you'd both made plans to try in a couple of months when things were slower, and you had more time to think about expanding your family. For now, you were content, and so was he. You'd both been willing to take the baby, but when things ended up not working out, you had made the decision to just try for your own baby further down the road. Aaron was happy with the way your life was progressing, and even now as you looked at him, eyes closed and resting on the pillow behind him, you weren't sure how things could get any better. Life seemed to be panning out for the two of you; you were eager to see what was in store for you both.
"So, I've been thinking," his eyes were still closed; he didn't bother looking at you, but he knew you were listening.
"About?"
He sighed happily, finally turning to meet your gaze. His hand cupped your face as he rolled onto his side so he could look at you.
"Marrying you. I know you still need a dress, but what if we went today? We could go to the court house, no one would know until we told them," he was profiling you, something you begged him not to do, but he did it anyway. It came too naturally, judging your every move and trying to figure out what it meant.
"Well, I don't have any plans," you told him, making him smile wide as he sat up, pulling you along with him. You were going as you were, in your jeans and a t-shirt, but Aaron didn't care--all that mattered to him is that you were a Hotchner by the end of the day.
An hour later, you were his wife.
It was simple; you'd signed papers in front of an officiant, and he pronounced you husband and wife after he made sure your paperwork looked good. You'd given him the ring you'd gotten for him the last time you went shopping, since he needed one too, the gold band on his finger radiating heat throughout your entire body. He was officially your husband, and you'd do everything together--even more so than before. Once you got back to the car, he leaned across the console and kissed you hard, his fingertips holding your chin in place.
"My gorgeous wife--I've been waiting forever to be able to call you that," he mumbled against your lips, momentarily forgetting where you were so he could kiss you feverishly, his hand moving to the back of your neck as he deepened the kiss, making you moan into his mouth. He slipped his tongue into your mouth, massaging his against yours as he moved closer, lifting the console so there was nothing separating you now, and he could wrap his arms around you.
"Want to take me home?" You said a bit breathlessly, peering into his gorgeous brown eyes, the same eyes you'd gaze adoringly into for the rest of your life.
"Not yet. Call Jonah, see if he and Marty want to meet us at the Blue Cat. Charlotte's working; we'll tell them," he couldn't wipe the smile from his face as he started the car. You knew it wouldn't be long until he was ready to spill the news, unable to wait any longer. Marty and Jonah agreed to meet you, so you slid inside a booth and waited on them, Charlotte instantly spying the ring on Aaron's hand.
"That's new," she nodded to his hand, and he held it up for her to see before she made the connection, her eyes narrowing at the two of you.
"You just couldn't wait, could you?" She questioned with a laugh, and he shook his head, taking your hand from across the table.
"I had to make sure I had her forever. I couldn't risk waiting," he teased, shooting you a wink from across the table. Marty and Jonah came in, and Marty took a seat next to Aaron, Jonah sitting beside you.
"I already know what I want," Jonah said, putting his menu down. You knew he and Aaron would get the same exact thing, down to the drink.
"I brought some papers for you guys to sign before we leave," Marty said, eyeing you suspiciously because you couldn't stop smiling no matter how hard you tried.
"What's going on? She's awfully happy," Marty commented, looking between the two of you. Jonah was the first to notice Aaron's ring, pointing it out for everyone to see.
"When did you start wearing a ring?"
The table went quiet for a moment as Marty put the pieces together, the corners of his mouth slowly turning upwards in a smile.
"When?"
Aaron told him, and they couldn't have been happier. Charlotte finished up and Kay came in, so Charlotte joined you at the table, pulling up a chair so she could ask questions.
"Can we have a party, Dad? We've got to celebrate," she said in her best, most convincing voice, and that was enough to get Kay's attention. She came around using the ruse of refills, but you knew she had other intentions just by the look on her face.
"What are y'all celebrating?" She asked sweetly, and even though you didn't like her, you had to admit she was quite pretty. She had long, golden hair and a perfect body, something like a model. She was young, barely through her first year of college, and the amount of attention she paid Aaron was enough to make you blind with rage.
"They got married!" Charlotte said excitedly, and you felt yourself beaming, you wondered if they could see it too.
"You pregnant or something?" She blurted, and even though you were a bit shocked, you shook your head, narrowing your eyes at her.
"Not pregnant. Just married," you said sweetly, flashing her a smile that could kill. Marty and Aaron went to the office to do paperwork so they could get it out of the way, leaving you to deal with Kay. You could feel your clenched jaw, the frustration in your brows.
"I'm sorry, that's so great for y'all. Just--where I'm from, you don't get married that quick unless you're knocked up," she explained, but you assured her this was different.
"I just know he's the one. I don't know how to explain it."
Kay excused herself, disappearing to the kitchen, and you had assumed she went to get your food. You talked to Charlotte; she was going to come see the house really quick after work, but she wanted to let you start on your honeymoon, so she was going to wait for another day. She offered to work for you the following day so you could be with Aaron, and you agreed to let her--as long as she'd let you get her back for it. You did that often, if you could tell the other was getting burnt out. It was part of the reason you were such good friends; you worked well together and didn't mind helping one another out.
Jonah told you that he and his dad had been spending a lot of time together. Wendy was really busy lately but Marty was always around, and they'd been fishing, boating, spending the summer the way a teenage boy should. You were happy they were finally getting the ending they deserved, and when Marty came back to the table, you gave him a look, just to let him know you were proud of him. He returned it; you had that type of bond, no words were needed.
Aaron
The last way I expected my wedding day to be spent was in Y/n's office with Kay on her knees in front of me, offering to blow me.
"I can't help it--I just love married men," she spat, her words like venom. I was furious--the disrespect had gone too far and I'd had enough of it. Y/n would be furious--I half hoped she'd walk in and stop Kay herself so I didn't have to, but she was nowhere to be found. She was probably seated at the table, oblivious to her worker being vile; I'd always known she'd try something like this, but I thought once we were married, Kay would get the hint. It only made her want me more--I couldn't find anything attractive about the woman that so desperately wanted my attention. She wasn't my wife; and there wasn't a woman alive that could excite me the way she did, not even Kay.
"You need to get up off the floor and finish your shift so my wife doesn't have to,"I said firmly, backing away from her, trying to maneuver a way to the door so I could make my escape.
"I'm--I'm so sorry. I really thought you were just playing hard to get...I can't lose my job, please--" she stood up, tears in her eyes as she stood in front of me, blocking my exit.
"She won't fire you. She's just going to make your life miserable."
I told Kay to get her shit together and go do her job and returned to the table, trying to keep a level head. I couldn't say anything in front of the kids, and as long as Kay acted normal, I'd be able to get Y/n home before I said anything, avoiding the meltdown that would surely come for at least a little while.
Our food was at the table so I sat down, taking her hand briefly, long enough to brush her knuckles, shooting her what felt like a smile across the table.
She knew something was wrong.
It was something I'd noticed early on. We called them tics, but as soon as she sensed something was off, she'd sit up a little straighter, and roll her neck. I watched her do this and pick at her food, barely touching her meal. Kay didn't seem suspicious at all, checking on us a couple of times, avoiding my eyes at all costs.
"So, a party. This weekend," Marty said, looking to me to make sure I was okay with the idea.
"It gives you an excuse to buy a new dress," I pointed out, but she was already nodding, thrilled with the idea. I was just ready to leave--I wanted to get the fiasco over with so I could enjoy the time with my wife that I'd been wanting since we started building our home. Once Marty and Jonah left, we said our goodbyes too, climbing in the car. She didn't even let the door close before she was asking me what was going on, so I told her to buckle up and I pulled out of the parking lot.
"Kay cornered me in your office. She--it doesn't matter what she wanted, only that she wanted to hurt you, and I had to wait until we were gone to tell you so you didn't say something," I said quickly, and just as I suspected, she demanded I turn the car around.
"I'll work myself, Aaron. Just turn the damn car around," she begged, but I shook my head.
"We just got married. Besides, you can't fire her. You and Charlotte are already stretched thin, baby. I told her you'd make her life miserable if she stayed. Those were my exact words."
"More than that. I will make her life a living hell. I can't believe her, on today, of all days," she was fighting the urge to cry, but we were pulling into the driveway already. As soon as we parked, I lifted the console and slid over, not bothering to wait until we were inside.
"I wanted to tell you, but I didn't want to ruin our today. This is about us, celebrating our relationship and that we've finally got a home of our own. I know you're upset and you have every right to be, but no one in the world compares to you, baby. You'll never have to worry about me looking at anyone else the way I always want to look at you," she smiled softly, leaning up to kiss me, her hands in my hair. She let out a sweet little whimper that had me dying to get her inside and undressed as quickly as I could.
"Take me inside, Aaron. I don't want to think about anything but you," we separated long enough for me to walk around to her side of the car, scooping her up bridal style to carry her into the house. She took my keys and unlocked the door, letting me carry her up the stairs and to our room, until I had her on the bed.
"I'm so glad we're married now; I'm going to love you forever, baby," she looked up at me, beckoning me to come get on the bed with her. I sat in front of her, letting her climb into my lap, her hands finding their way into my hair.
"You promise? I don't ever want to lose you," I could hear the love in her precious voice, giving me more than enough reasons to stay--I'd never been so happy in my life.
"You're everything I could ever want. I knew it the moment I met you, you know. You smiled at me and you had me then," she'd captured my heart that very first day, and the feeling had never gone away, it grew stronger, my need for her, every single day.
✨✨✨
"I thought about you so much, I couldn't wait to see you again," he hovered over you, his fingertips swiftly undoing the button and zipper of your pants so he could pull them off of you. He kept your panties on for now, lifting your shirt over your head before he leaned back to admire you, his bottom lip between his teeth.
"You're the sun in my sky, baby. I couldn't do anything without you," he said as he left a trail of kisses from your collar bone to your neck, sucking gently at your skin before lightly sinking his teeth into you. You let out a soft hiss, prompting him to do it again, with a little more pressure this time. The sensation was new and welcome, making every hair on your body stand up.
"You and me forever, right?" He nodded back at you, meeting your mouth urgently, tongue making its way into your mouth as quickly as you could blink. There was something different about him now though; he seemed even more determined than usual, on a mission to make you the happiest woman alive. His hands were behind your back, unclasping your bra so he could take your breasts in his hands, swirling his tongue around each nipple until he was pleased with himself and he was leaning you against the new headboard, putting pillows behind your back.
"Get comfy, you're not moving for a while," his voice had dropped to a dangerously low octave, sending shivers down your spine as he parted you open at your thighs, hastily shedding his own clothes as he looked at you.
"You're so sexy," you had the hottest husband in the world-- from his towering frame to his uncanny ability to make you feel like you were at the top of the world, you loved everything about him, and you were proud to finally carry his last name.
"Not as sexy as you, Mrs. Hotchner," he purred, lowering himself between your legs, his lashes dark and dramatic against his skin.
"I'll never get tired of hearing that," he finally tugged your panties down your legs, tossing them behind him as he got comfortable on his stomach, draping your leg over his shoulder so he could open you up completely. You were a mess, having anticipated the moment where you were finally making love as husband and wife, and the sheer joy you felt was almost overwhelming.
His thumbs pressed into your thighs as he kissed them, letting his tongue glide over your hips bones, looking up at you one last time before his tongue met your center, latching onto your clit; the heat of his mouth alone had you writhing, panting for breath as his fingers parted your swollen folds so he could focus all of his attention on your sweet bundle of nerves. It was almost as if he'd perfected the way he touched you, tailored to satisfy your every need with a fluid swipe of his tongue or pressure from his long, thick fingers. He slipped one digit inside of you, slow and precise against your g-spot, his lips sucking furiously at your throbbing clit.
"I love you so much," he breathed, peering up at you long enough to make sure you'd heard him, and then his focus was back on your center, his tongue delving between your folds, causing your legs to shake uncontrollably as you came.
"I love you more," you squeaked, stunned momentarily as you came down from your high. He chuckled lowly as he brought you over the edge again, his mouth and fingers never ceasing to bring you more than you'd ever bargained for--something about you sent the man into a frenzy, and he couldn't be stopped. You watched the minutes turn into an hour spent between your legs, never tiring, aching to give you all that he could.
"Aaron, I need you, baby. Will you please come here?" You hated to stop him but you were longing for more of him. He brought himself upright before trapping your body with his, his cock pulsing wildly against your thigh as he started to line up with you.
"Gonna stay just like this so I can look at you, gorgeous girl; you drive me absolutely wild," he pushed into you slowly, letting you stretch out around him before he began to move. It was the perfect angle to keep eye contact with him, making the experience much more personal. You could kiss him, and you did, peppering his face lovingly as he tried to control his hips.
"I'm obsessed with you," you felt a little silly admitting it, but it was true. You'd never been so enthralled by another human, wanting to know each and everything you could about him. You were convinced that you were tied by the soul, bonded forever in more than just matrimony--but as something much bigger and greater than either of you could put a label on.
"I hope you always feel that way. Having your love makes my life feel complete," he kissed your cheek, his arms on either side of your body, your hands in search of his. You held him tight, letting your orgasm rattle through you as you shook beneath him, his lips on your ear murmuring sweet words of praise as you came undone.
"So beautiful, baby. You're unlike anyone I've ever seen before. I'll always want you, no matter what," it was endearing and intimate, the soft exchange of vows to one another--that's what you considered it, since you hadn't said any at the court house. Now it was nothing but little truths whispered back and forth, and everything about it was perfect.
"Always, Aaron. You're my best friend; I'm so glad you stuck it out with me. I promise life together is going to be so good," you could feel it with every fiber of your being--you two were destined for great things, starting with making a name of yourself in the Ozarks. You two were on your way to becoming serious entrepreneurs, with plans to buy a second riverboat and turn it into a hotel for guests. Marty had found a killer deal on the boat and it was in great condition, just as big as the Missouri Belle, with 30 giant rooms and a massive kitchen. Aaron had been signing the paperwork to start construction on everything at lunch, so plans were officially underway.
"Baby, I mean it when I say I would do anything for you, anything to make you happy. All you have to do is say the word and it's yours."
You kissed him hard, feeling the sudden release of his own orgasm is he sighed heavily.
"Just love me forever, that's all I need."
✨✨✨
You were scheduled to work with Kay until 5, knowing it would be hard to keep your mouth shut. Aaron promised to stop by at some point during the day so you had something to look forward to, but other than that, you'd been dreading it since Monday. It was Friday, and the last time you'd have to see her for the week, thankfully; you had to get through 6 and a half hours of torture first.
She came in the front door, her head down so she didn't attract too much attention. You decided not to say anything yet, but she approached the bar, looking to you with her big blue eyes.
"I'm real sorry. I know you could've fired me and I'm glad you didn't," she said softly, and you gave her a nod and turned around to finish what you were doing, offering her nothing further. She was on your bad side and would be forever--you'd always worry about if she was out for your man or not, but hopefully she'd learned her lesson this time.
The day went smooth, and Aaron came by as promised, kissing you over the bar as he took a seat. Kay didn't even glance in his direction, which was a pleasant change from her usual staring.
"So, I might've bought you a dress for tomorrow," he said carefully, and you were immediately intrigued, wondering what he bought; he must've really wanted to see you in it if he went out of his way to buy it.
"You didn't have to do that," you told him, putting in an order for his burger and grabbing him a beer.
"But I couldn't help myself. It's going to look so good on you; I saw it and knew you needed it."
He stayed until time for you to go, following you home so he could show you what he'd gotten for you. It was certainly your taste, silver and short, shimmery in the light. The neckline was low cut and there was a slit at the hip, giving Aaron the perfect view of your legs. He made you try it on, sitting on the bed while you adjusted it to your body, taking a look in the mirror. It was flattering, showcasing your curves and accentuating all of your features well; he'd done a good job.
"Fuck, baby. Turn around for me," you did a spin for him, his hand in yours, twirling you around the bedroom floor. His hands fell to your hips, pulling you closer to him as his eyes raked over you.
"You have such good taste," you complimented, kissing him quickly while his hands roamed your body, sneaking under your dress to grab your ass.
"Selfishly, I just wanted to see you wearing it. I bought a gray shirt today that'll match it perfectly; I know you have silver shoes," you were already going to rummage through the closet for them, laying them  out so they'd be ready for later. You weren't supposed to be at the casino until 8, so you had a little time to spare.
"Did you get the paint swatches for the rooms on the boat? We have to make a decision this weekend so the painters can start Monday," you reminded him, the hotel taking up most of Aaron's time when he wasn't at the casino. He loved being in charge, overseeing the executive decisions of the way things were progressing. He was good at handling it, learning quickly and adapting even faster.
"They're in your office, we'll pick one tonight while we're at the casino," Aaron had given you your own office on the riverboat even though you wanted to share his. He'd surprised you with it, and it was perfect, with a big oak desk and your loveseat from the old house on the far wall.
"You make my life so much easier," you hugged him, letting him kiss your neck until he found your mouth, his grip on your waist tight and possessive.
"I'll always be here to help," he assured you, letting you go to the bathroom so you could get ready. He'd wait until you were finished since it took him less time, so you did your hair and makeup and when you finally emerged, you were grabbed as soon as the door opened.
"We'll never get out of the house with you looking like that," he was already trying to unzip your dress, but you stopped him with a kiss.
"We can't miss our own party. You can take it off later," you promised, and with one last kiss he was off to get ready. It took every bit of your strength not to unbutton his shirt and ravage him when he came out of the bathroom, your eyes lingering on his broad chest, and long arms.
"You look so good, Aaron. Come here," you kissed him, your arms snaking around his neck to pull him closer. Your backside hit the bed and that was all it took for him to undo his belt and let his pants fall to the floor, turning you around so you could bend over the bed.
"You and I both know we can't wait until later," he hissed, pulling your underwear down in one swift motion, spreading your legs slightly so he could tease your already slick folds.
"We can't be late," you chided, looking over your shoulder, back at him as he slid into you, groaning from above.
"We won't be, baby. I promise. We still have half an hour," he began to slam into you, making you grip the comforter tight as his hips met yours. It wasn't long until you were hurdling over the edge, your eyes shut tight.
"That's it, baby. One more and we can go, okay? Be a good girl and come for me," you loved it every time he said it, making you a silly mess for him. It spread warmth throughout your entire body, giving you a wholesome sense of satisfaction that you'd not expected from something so simple.
"Fuck, Aaron, don't stop, please," he loved to hear you beg, making a light humming sound from above you to let you know there was no way he'd be stopping--he knew you were close and denying you of pleasure was something he'd never be able to do; he was too eager to make you happy, the thought of you unable to come when he was perfectly capable of making you didn't register with him.
You saw stars, arching your back as he came too, filling you up in the most delicious way. He cleaned you off before pulling up your panties and tugging you upright, offering you his arm.
"We didn't even mess up your hair."

Aaron
Watching her have the time of her life with her closest friends was something I always enjoyed to see. It wasn't often she slowed down enough to see them regularly, but when we all got together, she was filled with glee, happy to have her favorite people in one place.
She stood talking to Charlotte and Jonah, who she missed terribly even if she was happy they had their lives back. She talked about them often and she and Charlotte still made time to hang out together, but we missed having them around.
Living with her was everything I hoped it would be.
She was the perfect wife, the most supportive and kind partner. I knew everyday when I woke up that if the entire world was against me, she was on my side, and I loved her more for it everyday.
I'd just wrapped my arms around her waist when Marty took a microphone, the crowd going quiet as he stood near the podium.
"We're here today because two of the most deserving people in the world are married now," everyone knew there was going to be a party, but no one knew why. They came to celebrate regardless, even Ruth and Frank Jr. were here.
"Y/n, Hotch, I want to wish you both all the joy and happiness in the world. I think I speak for everyone when I say, we all saw this coming. You two are simply meant to be together, and I couldn't imagine either of you with anyone else. Let's toast to the happy couple, and wish them many more years of love and laughter along the way. We love you guys," I clinked glasses with my bride and anyone else around, smiling like a fool the whole time.
Marty had surprised me.
As much as I'd hated him--more than that. I loathed Marty Byrde, but now that he was on my side, he wasn't so bad. He might not have been so bad to begin with if he hadn't gotten caught up with the cartel, but that didn't matter now. He was a good guy now--one of us.
Marty and the kids had become like family. We didn't see much of Wendy, she didn't even show up tonight, however she'd texted Y/n to congratulate her on getting married. She was busy with the Foundation, keeping things legal, and keeping her kids safe from any more heartache.
Marty was quickly rushing to my side, pulling me into his old office where it was quiet.
"You really shocked me," he said, pouring us both a drink from the bottle he kept behind his desk.
"In what way?"
He handed me my glass, nodding to the hand I held it with.
"I wasn't sure you were going to be good for her. I was afraid you were going to hurt one of the last genuine people left. She's different, Hotch. She deserves a good life and I have no doubt now that you can give it to her."
He clinked his glass with mine before patting me on the back, a typical Marty gesture. He was awkward when it came to being sentimental, but he was trying his best now.
"You don't have to worry. I'll always make sure she's taken care of," I promised him, and he nodded before we joined the others. She found me instantly, her arms around my waist from behind.
"Where'd you go?"
I kissed her forehead and told her I was talking to Marty, and she nodded, leading me to the bar so she could get another drink. She got clingy after one too many, but I didn't mind at all. She was always cuddly, but when she was drinking, she'd get affectionate in front of everyone, no matter who was around. She always wanted to kiss me, put her hands on me; it was cute, and I loved every second of it.
"C'mere," she beckoned, pulling me to meet her lips; she tasted sweet, like something fruity and delicious. I could practically see the mischievous gleam in her eyes as she leaned closer, so only I could hear her.
"Wasn't there something we were supposed to do in my office?" She was already sneaking off around the corner, willing me to follow her. I did so blindly, not caring about who noticed our absence; she needed me and I'd never say no to her, ever.
I locked the door behind me, making my way to the desk where she stood waiting. Our mouths collided harshly, but I needed so desperately to taste her, swirling my tongue around in her mouth while my hands groped her body. Her tiny hands worked on my belt and button, shoving my pasts past my knees.
"Impatient girl, going to fuck you over the desk and then take you home and fuck you in the bed," her night was far from over, and she was off work the following day, so I'd be keeping her up as late as I could; the way I was feeling, I'd fuck her until the sun came up.
"Is that a promise?" She bent over, her panties around her ankles, letting me pull her dress up past her hips.
"It's a guarantee, baby. You know I'm yours whenever you need me," I could hear the commotion of the party continuing without us--they didn't need us to have a good time.
"Please, Aaron. I can't wait any longer, baby," the neediness in her voice had me sliding into her with haste, gripping her hips to keep myself steady--with her heels she was at the perfect height to bend over and let me fuck her from behind.
"Is this what you wanted, sweetheart? Me filling you up?" She nodded, spreading her legs a little, her ass in the air for me. Her hands were folded under her cheek, a pleased smile on her face as I started to move my hips.
"I needed you so bad, it's all I've been thinking about since you disappeared with Marty," she sighed, content as I fucked her, careful not to tear her dress.
"I'm here now, baby. Let me take care of you."
In no time she was letting go, giving her orgasm over to me as her legs shook. She looked back at me, the smile on her face clear as day; it never got old, being the one to make her happy. I hoped she'd always let me be the one to make her smile; everything was a little happier with her around though, there was no reason to frown.
"You always know what I need, baby. I love you so much," she whimpered, letting me press my fingertips into her skin harshly enough to leave bruises. She didn't care, she let me slam into her until we were moving the desk--she managed to stay put through it all, moaning my name, her eyes half closed.
"I love you, sweetheart. Can I take you home soon? You're wearing too much," I knew the dress would look perfect on her when I spied it on the hanger. It left little to the imagination, and she wore it with such confidence that she had me pining for her all night long, adjusting my slacks every few minutes, trying not to focus too long on the curve of her ass or the swell of her breasts. It was a nearly impossible task, which is why I'd wanted to steal her away sooner. I'd never expected her to be the one to pull me aside--sometimes she just knew when I needed her, even if I couldn't tell her.
With a final thrust I poured into her, deep and hard enough to make my legs shake beneath me. We got dressed quickly, and I agreed to go out before her and go to the bar and she'd follow me. I had no sooner made it to a barstool when Marty came to stand next to me, grinning wide.
"You're acting like it's your honeymoon or something, Hotchner," he whispered, shooting me a wink before walking away. We'd been caught--which only made it that much better. She was at my side in an instant, wrapping her arms around me, kissing my cheek.
"I'm ready to go," she whispered, going to tell Marty and the kids bye before I could stop her. I waved them goodbye, letting her join me by the door, ready to get her home so we could make a mess of our new bed.
She was especially handsy in the car, palming me through my slacks, making me force myself to keep my eyes on the road. Once we hit the driveway, she was unbuckling her seatbelt to come suck at my neck, her hand still on my lap, my dick already hard and needy for her. I'd no sooner parked the car when she straddled my lap, making me hit the lever so the seat would go back and there was room for both of us.
"You look so good, baby," she mumbled against my skin, the heat rising to my cheeks; I could always feel how much she loved me in her words, her actions, the way she carried herself. She gave me every piece of her, giving me so much more of her to appreciate.
"I've got to get you inside, sweetheart. I need to see this dress on the floor in the next 60 seconds or I may just lose my mind," her dress rode up her hips as I carried her to the door, her legs around my middle and my hand under her to keep her in place. I got the door unlocked and sat her down, promptly unzipping her dress so she could step out of it.
"Now we'll never make it upstairs," she chided, biting her lip as she looked up at me, hands behind her back so she could take off her bra.
"You're right, we're going to the couch," I was thankful for the lounger end of the sectional, so I could lay her down, bringing her panties down her thighs as I parted her legs. Taking my time was difficult in situations like this, when I just wanted to dive headfirst into her, but making her wait was more fun. I loved to watch her wiggle around until she couldn't take anymore. Right now, it was taking everything in me to resist the urge, occupying my mouth with her thighs instead, kissing them and massaging them with my hands until she was whimpering for me to stop teasing.
"Aaron--please baby, don't make me beg," she choked, sitting up on her elbows so she could watch me. I finally gave in, although it didn't take much. She smelled so sweet and I knew she'd taste even better, so I let my tongue slip through her folds, watching as she went flat against the couch; her hands fell to my hair and she went rigid. There was no greater feeling than to be the one able to be in control of her body, finding new ways to touch her and make her lose control. The trust was an overpowering sensation, giving us both a sense of comfort and familiarity that I'd never known with another lover.
She knew about my relationship with Haley, and how my job caused it to crumble. She loved me just the same, and she definitely didn't hold it against me. She never let my job come between us when she could have, and I'd always be grateful that she was able to tough it out for me, for us and our relationship. It was no secret that being in the FBI was incredibly challenging and my job made a relationship nearly impossible before, but she sealed the deal on my official retirement when I realized how badly I needed to settle down and experience something new. She was the perfect person to start fresh with, to create a new life together so we could enjoy it to the best of our ability.
"Feels perfect, Aaron," she could barely choke out the words, they were strangled syllables as her head melted into the cushions and she gave herself over to me, letting her orgasm take over her body. I held her close, keeping her legs pinned to the couch with my arms so she couldn't move far and I didn't have to stop--as long as she'd let me, I'd stay between her legs, content and as happy as ever.
"Let's forget the bed and stay here all night," I mumbled, so focused on pleasing her that I didn't want to move if I didn't have to; I was perfectly happy hanging halfway off the couch as I laid between her thighs.
"Anything you want," she shot back, willing to do anything I said--she had no clue how much power she held with me sexually; I'd do things for her I'd never even mentioned to my ex wife. She was always happy to let me experiment with her, trying new things that we could both benefit from.
"Anything? You don't know what you're saying, sweet girl," I tried to warn her that we were about to enter uncharted territory and there was no way to go back once we'd started, but she seemed to want to go full speed ahead with me, and the thought excited me to no end.
"I mean it, Aaron. I'd do anything--if it makes you happy, I'd do it," she breathed, gazing down at me as I rested my head on her pillowy soft thigh. I was in the mood to have some fun with her, make her work harder than she ever had for her orgasm, that way it was more powerful. I grabbed her hand and brought it to her sex, sitting up slightly on the end of the lounger so I could watch.
"Touch yourself for me, but don't even think about coming," I freed myself from my boxers so I could stroke myself to the sight of her touching herself, her fingers slick with arousal as she spread herself open for me and teased her clit with a single digit.
"So sexy, baby. I love watching you," her brows were knitted tightly together as she concentrated on me, watching the flick of my wrist, occasionally scanning my face to make sure I was watching. I'd never miss a second of the show, already dangerously close and she hadn't even came yet. I slowed down drastically so I could control myself, trying to focus on the slick sound of her fingers, trained on her bundle of nerves.
"It feels too good, I can't--" I watched her eyes begin to flutter shut, on the brink of her orgasm but she refused to let it come, even though I could tell she was struggling.
"Not yet. I won't touch you for the rest of the night if you cum right now," I told her, watching her eyebrows raise in curiosity as she looked back at me. I was waiting to make sure she was okay with what I was doing, and from the smile on her face, she was.
"Been wondering when you were going to show me how bossy you could be," she teased, her bottom lip between her teeth, a sly grin forming on her face as she slowed down to match my pace, reaching for my free hand so she could lace her fingers with mine.
"I'll show you right now if that's what you want, baby," just like her, I'd do anything to make her happy, especially if it meant getting to be in charge at the same time.
"Please," her voice was strained, hoarse, as if there was nothing she wanted more.
✨✨✨
When he opted to carry you to the bedroom and toss you on the bed, you were wondering what could possibly be in store for you. Aroused didn't begin to describe how you were feeling--you were aching with desire, your thighs soaked as you looked up at him, so broad and lean, solid and so sexy you could hardly stand it.
"Come here," his tone was different--low and erotic but rough and demanding at the same time, exciting you to the core.
"Yes sir," you chided, a small gasp leaving your lips when he tilted your chin to look at him.
"What was that, baby?" From the upturned corners of his lips, he'd liked what he heard, and he couldn't wait for you to say it again. You sat on your knees in front of him on the bed; he was still standing, your face in his hand.
"Yes sir," you repeated, a bit more sultry this time, making his eyes close for a second, a low grown emitting from his throat.
"I love that," he confirmed, his dick in his free hand, stroking lightly as he looked at you.
"You gonna let me show you how much fun we can have together?" You teased, eyes on his member, hands folded neatly in your lap.
"As long as you promise to tell me if it's too much. You will, right? I want you to enjoy yourself baby," he was always so considerate, making sure you were comfortable and equally as eager as he was. The anticipation was driving you wild--you couldn't wait to see a new side of him, and maybe show him a thing or two in the process.
"I promise, Aaron. Don't hold back, you aren't going to scare me," you assured him, and he nodded, his eyes dark and mysterious as his grip on your cheeks made your face form a slight pout, his eyes lighting up at the sight. His entire demeanor was rapidly shifting; he stood up a bit straighter, his shoulders back as he guided your face towards his cock.
"Let's put that pretty little mouth of yours to good use," he growled, your mouth opening wide so he could slip his member past your teeth, your lips closing around him. His hand fell to the top of your head, rooting in your hair as his mouth fell open. You took things a step further, pressing further until he was in your throat, tears welling in your eyes as his hips took over for your mouth, holding your face still as he rocked back and forth, slipping into your warm, wet mouth with ease.
"Going to fuck your throat, sweetheart. Be a good girl and stay still," his hips began to move a bit faster, your hands on the foot board of the bed to keep yourself upright as he used your mouth, his hand tugging at your hair. You let out a whimper that had him peeking down to check on you, but once he saw the smile on your face, he didn't dare stop. You were enjoying every second of how rough he could get, and you hoped there was more in store.
You brought your hand to your dripping core, desperate to relieve some of the pressure that had been building when Aaron stopped you, grabbing your arm and bringing your hand back to the bed.
"Patience, baby. I promise the wait will be worth it," he said as he gave your head a gentle pat before slipping into your throat entirely as you tagged around him. It was almost instantaneous, his release into the back of your throat as he moaned loudly, making you shiver all over.
"So sexy," you cooed up at him as he regained his senses and caught his breath.
"Lay down," he commanded breathlessly, coming to sit between your legs, his own legs crossed his as he let his eyes fall to your center.
"You did so good, baby. Can you handle more?" His eyebrow raised, he looked to you for the green light and you nodded as his hand fell to your core, his thumb pressed gently to your clit.
"Yes sir, I can take it," you told him, earning a cheeky grin in response as his cock started to get hard again, twitching against his thigh.
"I knew you could, sweet girl. You're doing so good," he administered a slight bit of pressure, making your eyes shut tight, the sensation already beginning to form between your legs, which were shaky and unreliable. Right before you felt yourself go over the brink, he withdrew his hand, leaving you a writhing mess on the bed.
"Aaron!" You couldn't help the shocked tone of your voice, but the mischievous way he was looking at you told you that if you could just be patient, he was going to make everything worth it in the end.
"Can't make it too easy for you, baby. What's the fun in that?" You propped up on your elbows so you could watch him tease your slick folds with his long, thick fingers, your slick coating his digits as he played with you. He had no intentions of making you cum yet--he was going to see how much you could take before that.
"Your fingers feel so good," him making you wait until he allowed you to orgasm had your head spiraling; he'd never denied you before but you couldn't complain, not when it was so fucking hot to see this new side of him.
"You're soaked, sweetheart. I can only imagine how badly you want to cum," he was in heaven, loving every second of this new game you were playing.
"I'm so close," you squeaked, his fingers falling from your core to your thigh, giving you a moment to gather your thoughts before he continued. You let a string of profanity fall from your lips, making him lick his before lowering himself between your thighs.
"Does my sweet girl need my tongue? Tell me baby, how desperate are you?" He licked a stripe up your center that had you gripping the sheets as you tried to form a thought, but you kept drawing a blank that only got worse as he began to circle your clit with his tongue.
"Aaron, please. Can't you see how badly I need you?" Your pussy lips were swollen and dripping, clit pulsing wildly under his tongue as you let your hands fall to his head, directing his mouth to where you needed him most.
"Your shaking baby--such a needy little thing, aren't you, sweetheart?" He looked up to you, waiting for a response before he went any further.
"Yes sir, always need you baby. Right now more than ever," you admitted, so turned on that you were hypersensitive to his every move, the lightest flick of his tongue driving you wild.
"I know baby, but the longer we wait, the bigger mess you'll make, and don't you want to ruin these sheets with me? I think that if you'll be patient, you'll be surprised at how good it'll feel," he told you, and you nodded, letting him continue to bring you close but never letting you cum. Every time you were close, he'd pull away, making you whine and whimper until tears pricked your eyes. It was infuriating but so satisfying at the same time; on one hand, you were beyond ready to cum, but at the same time, the teasing, the waiting--it was perfect, driving you mad in the best way.
"Aaron--" you were dangerously close, you could feel it all over your body. He knew you wouldn't be able to stop yourself this time, so he brought his fingers to your clit and rubbed furiously, watching with wide eyes as you drenched his fingers and shook uncontrollably, your legs held down by Aaron, your thighs a sticky mess. He was thoroughly pleased, admiring the wet patch between your thighs as if he'd never seen anything like you before.
"I could watch you all day, gorgeous," he praised, his mouth inches from your sex as you tried to settle yourself.
"That felt incredible," he'd been right, of course, making you see stars with his talented tongue, and already eager to give you more.
"I knew it would, baby. Thank you for trusting me. Can I fuck you silly now, sweetheart? I've been so patient but I don't think I can wait any longer," he was hastily moving off the bed and dragging you to the edge before he tucked your legs together, placing them against his chest. His hand found yours before he used the other to line up with you, sighing as he let himself grow accustomed to the way you felt. You weren't sure you'd ever get used to the wholesome sensation of him filling you up, each time seemed better than before.
"Don't make me wait, please," you urged, his hands moving to your hips so he could use your body to keep himself grounded as he started to slam into you. He'd been rough before, but this was completely different. It was primal and possessive, and you didn't dare close your eyes because you didn't want to miss a second of it. You were coming undone in no time, squeezing him like a vice as he pounded mercilessly, his fingertips digging into your skin.
"Fuck baby, look at me," you met his eyes, misty and amazed as he slowed down drastically, parting your legs so he could lean forward and kiss you hard on the mouth.
"I love you so much," you whispered, more enthralled by him than ever as his body found yet another way to become connected with yours, your bond deeper now than it had ever been.
"And I love you, sweetheart. I want you to know no one has ever been more beautiful than you are right now," you felt yourself blush heavily, still smitten with him after so many months; his words could still reduce you to mush.
"You're perfect, Aaron. No one has ever made me so happy," what started off at full speed ahead had turned into something sensual and sweet--his hand cupped your face tenderly as he admired all of your features, giving you a chance to look at him and truly appreciate what a strong, gorgeous man you'd married. In your eyes, no one held a candle to him. He got more handsome as the days passed, his dark hair and striking eyes mesmerizing; you'd never seen anyone that could stop you in your tracks like he could. It was incredible, how he could stop the room with his intimidating persona and tall, long frame that made him look much more menacing than he actually was. You never would have thought the man you met that first night who wouldn't even give you a smirk was always smiling at you; you'd been pleasantly surprised at how sweet and soft he could be given his ruthless reputation.
"Then keep me forever, baby. You know, you still give me butterflies. Every time I look at your gorgeous face I fall in love all over again," he whispered, coming to hover over you so he could be closer; somehow even with his chest pressed against yours, you needed him closer--you couldn't get enough of him.
"Forever is the plan. I could never love anyone the way I love you," you replied, earning a dazzling smile from him before his lips met yours. Neither of you were focused on an orgasm rather than you were so wrapped up in one another that you didn't want to stop.
"You'll never have to worry about me ever wanting anyone else; you're the sun in my sky, sweet girl. I've never--fuck-- no one has ever loved me as much as you do. You've got me addicted," you loved the way he spoke to you, it lit a fire inside of you that warmed every inch of your body, making you feel more loved and secure than ever.
"I'll always love you, Aaron. I swear. I always want you by my side, through everything,"I promised him, reaching up to brush his hair back. He leaned into your touch, kissing your palm lovingly. There was something about the way he made you feel that was incomparable to any other man--he kept you hungry for more of him every second of the day, making you smile more than you ever had in your life. It was a welcome change from the way you'd felt before him--alone, misguided. Now you had a husband and a future, something to keep the two of you busy. Aaron was financially able to provide for you but with the casino and The Blue Cat, you were bringing in more money than you ever thought possible thanks to Marty. You were grateful Aaron was willing to help you run things after retiring, but he enjoyed it just as much as you.
"I love my life with you. I wouldn't want things any other way," you'd never expected to take on the casino but it had proven more than profitable. Aaron was showing you how much you were projected to make over the next year and you'd never imagined having that kind of money. You'd be using it to secure your futures, eventually expanding your family and having children together. Both of you were enjoying the flow of things for now, but you did look forward to becoming parents when the timing was right. Now, you wanted to be selfish with him and keep him for yourself as long as you could.
His hips rolled into you at such a slow pace that your orgasm had been building for some time, finally washing over you as you shuddered and moaned his name, one of his favorite sounds to hear.
"That's it, sweetheart. You look so sweet right now. Wish you could see yourself. We should get a mirror for the ceiling," he suggested, and the thought instantly made you groan; the idea of watching him from above as he fucked you like this sounded heavenly.
"We can do that tomorrow," you giggled, more than thrilled with the idea. He kissed your cheek before spilling into you, his body tensing up as he filled you. Instead of grabbing a towel, he let his cum spill out of you before gathering it on the tip of his cock and pushing it deep inside of you, biting his bottom lip harshly as he watched.
"Consider this practice, for when you decide you want to be pregnant," he chuckled, pressing a kiss to your lips before he eased out of you. You were taken aback by the way he was acting, a man starved for your love, but you didn't mind. You loved how much he adored you and the way he exerted love in every form he could. It left you feeling complete, like everything in your life had been leading up to meeting Aaron so he could change your life.
"We can keep practicing for now. I'm not ready to share you yet," you told him, pulling him to lay next to you on the bed so he could hold you. One of his favorite things to do after sex was cuddle up and just be close to one another--you loved it too.
"I'm not in any rush either. We have all the time in the world to become parents," he said against your cheek before kissing it, snuggling in close to you. He pulled the sheet up around the two of you, tugging you further up on the bed so you could be on the pillows. It was getting late, you could feel your body beginning to relax and Aaron melting in at your side made you sleepy, yawning lightly as he came a little closer.
"Tired, baby? We can get some sleep," you knew it would come eventually whether you wanted it to or not, but for now, you were busy focusing on how it felt to be wrapped up in his arms, your back against his chest so you could feel his deep breathing. His hand wrapped yours up, and the other was tossed behind his head lazily as he let his eyes close.
"Just wanna cuddle with you," you mumbled, his chuckled rumbling through you as he rolled to his side, draping his arm over your middle and pulling you in closer.
"Sweet dreams, baby," you whispered as he began to drift off, and you heard him mutter it back sleepily as he succumbed to slumber.  You stayed up for a while longer, looking at how peaceful he was, every line on his face smooth, his eyebrows relaxed and a soft smile on his usually stern face. You had no doubt that he was happy with you; it was clear even in his sleep how truly glad he was to be with you. He'd hold onto you all night long, even if you made him sweat and kept him uncomfortable, he'd never let you go. It was true in all aspects, not just in your sleep schedules. You'd picked the most supportive, caring partner you could have asked for, and his love made you feel like a better woman. You'd grown and learned so much with him that the months had felt like a lifetime, and the two of you had grown so close it had been like you'd known him much longer.
You brushed his hair back, his nose wrinkling slightly before he settled once more, taking a deep breath, his lips meeting your cheek even as he slept. It was impossible to miss the way he got a little more upbeat when you stepped in the room, or how he'd cross the floor just to be wherever you were. His eyes didn't wander to other women; he was pleased with one, and it was you.
You deserved the good ending.
You deserved someone strong but sensitive to see you through your darkest days, and a way to pave the future for your children that would come eventually. You most of all deserved the love that you'd always given and never received. Aaron had came along to show you what you'd been missing and gave it back to you tenfold. You'd always be thankful for such an incredible man--he was more than that. He was your partner in life and through the worst and best of times, he would always have your back no matter what. It was enough for you to roll over, your back pressed against him as he cozied into you, and you fell fast asleep dreaming of what the future could hold for the two of you.

hello from 2023
hiiiiiii
it's so funny to think that all the posts from this tumblr are all just for me in the future but I hope it's gonna be another good reflection to see what I was like in the past.
but let me give you a little update since the last time I was here ((THERE WERE A LOT!!!))
ok first of all. im unemployed now, I graduated college 4 months ago and still haven't been able to land a job- I'm on my last round of interview for this pharmaceuticals company tho and I REALLY HOPE I GET THE JOB BECAUSE IM DESPERATEEEE. if I don't get an offer soon my OPT might expires meaning it'll be harder for me to escape indo.
as much as i love being at home and spending most days with my nieces and having no worry at all, I miss doing something intelligent like doing all the academic weapon I was supposed to be doing. it was hard landing a job yall, I swear I've applied to at least 400+ job but still 0 offer. IM REALLY HOPING THIS PHARMA JOB WORKS OUT I REALLY WANNA GO BACKKKKKK I wanna live in city I can wander around please
anyway, on the fun part ((my nonexistant love life))
in 2022, i went for a semester abroad in LONDON AND IT WAS WILDDDDD like really good experience and I love london so much I wish to go back there again and visiting my london fam innit- it was surprising really good like i had a solid friendgroup in just a month of settling down (shout out to SHAIMA LOVE U SO MUCH GURL) i went travelling to edinburg and Stonehenge. it was a surreal experience.
oh and i was on dating apps while in London and I got the taste of love (a little bit). my first ever date was really good, i'd give it 7/10 I wasn't that attracted to this dude but he was smart and caring at least before he became annoying and called me a self-obsessed girl- like dude HOW CANT I BE OBSESSED OVER MYSELFF? anyway I didn't continue talking to him because I really thought I should give an ugly guy a chance just bc he seems nice personally but he really wasn't so I went to 7 more dates after that--- ND I GOT MY FIRST EVER KISS??? LIKE HELLO? this dude I kissed, we met on tinder and I went to his place the night I first saw him and I gave him a glockglock3000 it was crazy-- but after that night I learnt why people like dick- and he got a pretty one too and it tasted sweet?????? maybe from the lube he was using but we didn't do the full thing cuz I was kinda hesitant cuz I BARELY KNOW HIM OFC??? but yea I learnt some things but my experience with men in general wasn't really working out bc ALL I WANT IS LOVE and it seems like u cant really find that on dating app.
other than that, i cut off some people from my life. it was sad but I think its about time. this girl I really wanted to befriend with since freshman year, we ended became bestie and even lived together in the apartment, but I think it was really toxic tbh- it think the more I knew people, the more I feel like I withdrew myself form them.thats kinda scared me because I really wanted to accept people the way they are but it was really not good having her around- for some reason in social settings, everytime I spent time wth her, it just irritaes me more and that made me realize that friendship wasn't supposed to be like that, it shouldn't cost you your mental health to be living with your friend so yeah, after graduation, I never contacted her and she also never contact me either so it's mutual I think
my time at skidmore was overall fun, I went to typical college parties, got drunk and wasted but it was all really fun. i love my girl friends my bbygurl I love them so much and they made my time at skidmore 100000x so much better. i would be a lot more miserable if it wasn't because of them. there was rough patches along the way but we are good friends so I was able to let go everything and keep our friendship eventho now w graduated and harder to see each other but I really hope to meet them again<3 I love them thao kim connie rebecca and my isu babies<3
my plan now is hoping i land that job in Boston > lease an apartment > fly from jakarta and meet natan > relocate to Boston and get my stuff at Uhaul in Albany > starting working and getting the sense of really world > SAVE A LOT OF MONEY SO I CAN SPOIL MY LOVED ONES AND MYSELF
i think i can do it. delusion is the key and I quite frankly believe in myself. i really hope so I wish.
so yeah, thats mostly the update from me. hopefully in the next post I can give you a better news and more GOOD STORY FROM MY LOVE LIFE yea. ok goodbye for now and I see u later

Chapter 29
YN's about to find out that sometimes a gorgeous man can come up with a plan all his own, and it's a given that it'll mess hers up.
Chapter 29 Ending Soon!
"Baby," he cleared his throat waiting to get her attention. Tired of waiting for her to grab the remainder of Bam's things, Jungkook grabbed YN by the waist, dragging her to him, causing her to drop the box back into the car.
"Jungkook?"
The whole thing is like a dream, something surreal and inexplicable. A secret, stolen romance in the car park. Away from prying eyes, and reason. The sexy man in a black suit, top shirt button undone, as he walks up towards her pulling her in for an intense, passionate kiss.
YN stopped, tilting her head up at him, past the bright car park lights.
Watching YN turn to look up at him, made Jungkook feel nervous, excited and full of butterflies. And all she has done was say his name.
Smooth like butter.
YN smiled back, as she took her coat off, and he appreciated her figure again.
Jungkook took her in. "On the way here, I called you, like a lot."
YN hadn't realised she held onto his back as he held her into him.
"I'll explain later? I needed to process things."
"I'm not giving you the option not to," he whispered into her ear, licking his lips to plant a kiss to hers.
An involuntary gasp escaped YN's mouth as she looked down quickly at her feet, feeling the surge of that kiss shoot straight down into the ground.
Jungkook moved back from the kiss, spreading his feet slightly as he became a little unsteady. He cleared his throat and looked back to her who was fidgeting with her phone, as she looked up at him.
"Dad is calling. l.." a look of worry spread across her face.
Jungkook looked at her, "Shall we go together? Fuck all this," he said moving towards the door and pushing the box back into the car.
"No, it's best you don't. I need to speak with him. You should go back, before the others start planning a wedding."
"That's not a bad thing. They care about you. Obviously not as much as I do."
"Obviously."
Jungkook pursed his lips together a minute, the wheels in his head were turning but he couldn't get the words out.
YN watched him struggle with his words.
"Why can't you say what's going on in there?"
"I are you tomorrow free food for?"
"Oh god I've broken him," she sighed, grabbing him by the tie, watched him spin around and face her.
Jungkook starred at her blankly, and for a second she was sure she really had broken him.
"Kookie?"
The word had been swimming around in her head for days, and today it just popped right out.
YN pushed her lips on his, and felt herself melt, Jungkook turned his head for more access and kissed her back. Harder, more desperate.
Before she could pull away, her bum met the edge of the back seat and Jungkook's chest met hers as he grinded on her, tongue slipping into her mouth.
"Ahem."
YN ignored the sound the first time, her hands wound up to Jungkook's collar and then the back of his neck.
"Ahem."
Jungkook pouted, as he felt YN pull back and wiped some of her red lipstick off his mouth.
"Call me when you get home," Jungkook bit his lip as his eyes spotted her bare collarbone and he felt the impulse to take her there in the carpark.
"Uh, sure. Here's Bam's things, I'll see him in a few days."
"Not if we see you first," he moved back, allowing her to get into the back and closed the door for her.
YN turned back to see PDogg clear his throat, as he spotted her in the back seat.
"You didn't see anything," she looked away to buckle up.
"Your hair sure seemed to enjoy it though," he grinned as she felt for her wild tousled hair with a groan.
Jungkook smiled to himself, a grin on his face from ear to ear, dumping the box of Bam's things on the table.
"Jungkook-ah, you okay?" Taehyung grinned.
"Hmm? Yeah course," he smiled, trying to act cool.
"So, how did it go?" Jimin tried to ask with a straight face, "What did she say?"
"Like he gave her a chance to say anything," Yoongi stifled his laugh.
"Uh, fine," Jungkook nodded to them all, "I'm gonna go to bed."
"Don't forget to wipe YN's lipstick off when you do," teased Jin loudly as they fell into laughter listening to Jungkook swear in embarrassment.
**
Two evenings later..
They were in Gangnam, and both Chan and Matt had walked back with her to her complex, enjoying quiet conversation as they went. Chan enquired after her schedule and she had returned the question. Matt had been excited that his latest single was a huge success and talked about them scheduling the next Big Tiddie Committee meeting.
It was only when Yan heard the loud clap of a car backfiring near them, and the crunch of metal on metal as two cars collided into each other in the distance had she screamed, and kneeled down against a wall, covering her ears.
"Hey hey hey!" Chan said crouching down beside her as she wept silently, her eyes tightly fused shut. "It was a car backfiring, and another hitting another in traffic. It's the damn ice; it was just an accident." He saw the panic in her eyes and stared at her for a minute, not sure what to do.
"What's Jungkook's number?" Matt looked at Chan, "dude, you need to call him. We can do the whole what are your intentions to my sister thing later, but right now she needs him dude."
Tumblr media
"It's fine," she sniffed. "I just got scared, it just, sounded a lot more louder in my head. Like I was there," she said, the words slipping out of her mouth. She stood up like nothing happened, and they walked silently back to her place. They watched her, the blank expression on her face had them both feeling sick.
Jungkook dropped everything and made a dash for the door. Jin had just made dinner with the aid of the Maknae line when Jungkook has received the messages.
"What's wrong?" Hope asked as Jungkook dropped the cutlery on the table with a loud clump.
"YN, needs me," he sprinted for his car keys and was out the door before anyone could ask any questions.
**
Jungkook saw her at the kitchen table as Matt placed a glass of water in front of her.
"Look YNnah, Jungkook is here too," he tried to inject some energy into her.
"Kookie?"
The way she looked up, and searched the room for him, had his heart on knots.
"I'm here baby," he dropped the keys on the table, and was on his knees in front of her, rubbing hers to let her know of his presence. "Your Kookie is right here sweetie pie."
Shaking hand rubbed her ears again. "I keep hearing it, thinking and seeing it, and it's driving me crazy,* she rubbed it again.
"How long's this been going on for?" he fed her the water, a few sips at a time.
YN shrugged, seeing the concern etched on her brothers' face.
"A couple of days," she guessed, she looked back at Jungkook. "When were you going to tell me that we were seriously considering going public? That I knew Bam, and you spent more time here than at your dorm?"
Jungkook stood up and looked her dead in the eye, "I hoped we could talk when your memories came back, and they seem to have now. Have they?"
"I've been remembering more the last few days, I probably don't remember everything but I can piece most of it together."
Chan cleared his throat, "She's got that same 'Imma kill you if you come near me' look mom has for me sometimes. I don't know 'bout you Matty but I'm gonna leave right now," Chan patted Jungkook on the shoulder sympathetically as Matt joined him for the front door, leaving an anxious Jungkook standing there, panicked.
Jungkook grabbed her hands and used them to lift her over his shoulder and deposit her onto the couch.
"Yah pabo! Get the hell off me asshole!" she shouted, hitting his lower back.
Damn, that voice is killing me softly.
"Not until I get to explain myself to you." He came back to his senses and looked over to her. "Please baby, let me explain," he pleaded reaching out for her hand.
"I don't want to hear anything you have to say. I know what you did. I know you have been acting like we were some couple, on the verge of marrying the way you carry on but we were just friends with benefits. Not even a namjachingu!"
"I was going to ask you! That day, you were crossing the road that driver skipped the lights. I watched you go flying and fall in a heap. You were literally dying in front of me, and I didn't even get to ask you out."
"Ask me out?" she turned to face him.
Jungkook combed his hands through his long hair.
"Bang YN! All I've wanted to do was marry you. I would find some midnight wedding chapel with you right now and we would get married right now. I want to eat your pancakes and give you kisses, and live together and have as many babies as you and your body consent to having. We would get another dog, and move to the house of your dreams. You would have multiple world tours, and so would BTS and we would do a joint one together. You would go on tour and I would look after the babies. We would have Jeon Jung-Hoon first, he would look like me and a princess Jeon Sa-Rang who was just like you. We'd buy a gym, and whilst you were off being the goddess you are, dominating the world I would drop the kids to school, then go work out and then pick them up, even learn to cook with you, if you let me. And I would wake up every morning with you, and sleep next to you at night."
YN sat there, shell shocked. "Babies? Two? Jung.. Sa-Rang. A gym? Us?"
"We're gonna date YN. I'm gonna date the shit out of this, and I'm going to marry you. You are everything. My chance. My happiness."
"Wow this really is the picture of domestic bliss."
YN was beginning to pull away from him but Jungkook wasn't ready to let go just yet.
"I never thought this day would come," he whispered in her ear.
YN looked up at him, the two of them frozen in time. Jungkook found himself tilting his head as if to kiss her.
She panicked and cleared her throat, pointing to the door. "I think I need time to think," she gave him a hesitant smile, hoping he wouldn't try to do that again.
She smiled at him. "I just know when I'm with you, it makes me... happy."
Jungkook heart melted, as she looked up at him through her long eyelashes.
YN saw a small blush appear on his cheeks, as he smiled shyly.
"Are you getting shy?" she found herself teasing.
"Maybe," he smirked, "instead of sweeping you off your feet and telling you I loved you; I had to watch you almost die before my eyes, and then you lost your memories of all that mattered."
"It's kinda sweet though, that you thought that far ahead with kids and a marriage," she smiled at him, trying to make him feel better.
"Actually," he cleared his throat and smiled, "this is all your father's fault."
YN's arms instantly came up and folded, "be careful what you say about my father."
"Ok, ok, you're right. If it wasn't for my father in law having a secret family I never knew of, I'd never have been able to meet you. Fall in love with you. Punch a guy over you. God I would die for y—"
YN covered his mouth with her finger to hush him. "No dying.. please."
Jungkook cleared hia throat. "Why don't you change into something comfortable and I'll order us something to eat?"
YN worried about Jungkook. He'd been gentlemanly enough to leave her to change, but he was back now and she had a funny nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach. Why am I so nervous?
Wow," Jungkook managed, as he came back to her, just as she was pulling on a shirt; he held his breath, and his eyes moved down her body and settled on the large white scar on her upper leg again.
"Do you know what um, you want, um to eat?"
YN turned away, self conscious.
She felt completely and utterly at home around him. Every part of this home was steeped in memories; their memories and she found herself desperately wanting to remember them all.
He couldn't stop himself, as he moved towards her. Standing there in his perfectly chiseled physique hiding under his tshirt, she had died and gone to heaven.
"Are you scared being this close to me?" he asked as he rubbed her arm, the goosebumps clearly visible, before he nuzzled her neck a little bit before he settled for hugging her. She wasn't ready right now for anything more, but she was ok hugging him back.
"I'm not scared of you Kook-" she hugged him back and in the blink of an eye he was kissing her cheek goodbye and was out the door.
Suddenly YN was upset that nothing, had actually happened. It had taken a few hours but then she couldn't hold back.

"Really, it'll be a...new coffee experience," Hyeon assured Sandy. She handed Sandy a green card. It felt like an expensive platinum credit card, the card made of metal, feeling heavy and cold in her hand. "All you have to do is fill out a survey after you get your free coffee. Once you make it inside, hand the card over to your barista."
"Aren't you supposed to find actual volunteers?" Sandy asked, looking at the shiny card. The only thing on the card was the name of the new test cafe, PB Cafe.
“Trust me,” Hyeon said with a grin. “You’ve never had coffee like this. This is free, too. You’re going to say no to free coffee? And I swear, this is really me saying it, their coffee is really good.”
“Fine, thanks for the free coffee.”
“Enjoy!” Hyeon turned her back to Sandy, most likely scanning for potential test subjects for her new marketing event. Being her best friend, Sandy was always her first test subject. She didn’t know if Hyeon’s bosses approved of her taking advantage of all the free stuff she was receiving.
Sandy walked over to a shop that was setup at the southwest corner of a 3 story building. The walls were white and the windows were covered by white curtains. “PB Cafe” was written in black on the front door, though there were no door handles. Standing in front of the door, Sandy noticed a black square pad beside the right side of the door. She pressed the green card to the black pad and jumped slightly as the glass door slid open. A short piano tune played, sounding old but familiar, reminding her of old Hollywood movies from the mid-20th Century.
Tentatively, she stepped in. Walking past the white curtains, she found herself inside a small room. At the back end of the room was a small bar with one wooden chair in front of it. It only took her 4 steps to reach the chair, so she pulled it out and sat down. The wall behind the bar slid down to the floor and a broad shouldered man walked out from what looked like a bright white light before the wall slid back up behind him.
Too shocked to react, Sandy set the green card down onto the smooth marble countertop. Her eyes couldn’t leave the face of her barista. He was very handsome and his small grin softened his masculine exterior. Wordlessly, he took the green card and placed it in the front left pocket of his black apron.
“Welcome to Personal Barista Cafe,” he said in a soft, sultry voice. “My name is Bae Jinyoung, your Personal Barista today. How shall I address you?”
“Uh, just call me Sandy, I don’t like formalities much.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Sandy. If you don’t like formalities feel free to call me BaeJin or BaeBae.” She gave a soft chuckle and threw her hand over her mouth, feeling her cheeks warm up. Such a sultry man telling her to call him something as cute as BaeBae tickled her. “Is this your first drink with PB Cafe?”
“Yes,” she replied. “I don’t know anything about this cafe, except that you have good coffee.”
“A Personal Barista will make you a personalized drink,” he explained, pulling out a menu form. “Whatever you order, I will make it in front of you. If you want to know how I prepare your drink, please let me know and I will explain as I go. If you want small talk instead, I enjoy a small conversation as I prepare you a drink. If you want silence, for any reason, please don’t feel pressured to speak if you don’t want to.”
“Can I get an Americano?” she asked, after glancing at the long list of coffee drinks. The menu was simple and elegant, the writings were in cursive but the paper was black and the ink white. She liked the seemingly simple attention to detail. “How long have you been a barista, BaeJin?”
“Almost a year,” he replied. He poured fresh ground coffee into a metal contraption with a long neck. She pressed her lips together as her eyes were fixed on his skilled, large hands. He was using a device to compact the coffee grounds.
“Do you enjoy being a barista?”
“I do. It allows me to be creative. My regular job is stressful.”
He put the coffee grounds into the machine and pressed a few buttons. She watched him place a small white espresso mug under the spout of the machine. He grabbed a large white mug of coffee, and looked at her with a soft grin.
“This is your side hustle?” she asked. PB Cafe seemed like it paid well.
“Most people have more than one job these days,” he replied.
“That’s true,” she replied. “I have a day job and a night job.”
“What are your jobs?”
“I’m interning at a law firm, helping a paralegal out. I’m hoping to get my private investigator’s license soon.”
“You want to be a private investigator?” he asked.
“I want to be a lawyer,” she answered, “but having a private investigator’s license helps me pick up skills. Research is the true gift of being a good lawyer.”
“Research. You must be very smart and hard working.”
“You are sweet,” she said, resting an elbow onto the counter, leaning forward. “I wish my smarts and hard work were enough to give me success. I’m lacking in luck lately.” His eyes drifted away from the espresso machine and looked into her eyes. She felt her cheeks turn hot, realizing she had overshared. It’d been a sad thought, too. “I feel very lucky right now.”
“Sandy, I don’t mean to make assumptions about people but if I were to guess you are someone with expensive tastes,” he said. He pulled out two small brown glass bottles from a drawer. “But, you settle for less.”
“I..” she breathed out.
She should have been insulted, but her barista BaeJin was right. Sandy had always been envious of people who could afford designer things or had the means to go on extravagant vacations, but all of that had always been a dream. The closest she got was free shit from Hyeon. A drink from PB Cafe was likely three times that of a drink from Starbucks, and Sandy could only afford Starbucks for special occasions.
“Why are you saying this?”
“I want to make you a drink in which you will appreciate,” he replied, pulling out a single stemmed pink rose from under the counter, and handed it to her. She felt her cheeks flush with heat as she accepted it. “Refined, seemingly ostentatious, but simple and hopefully, delicious.”
He poured hot water from a glass kettle into the mug. She felt her cheeks turn hot again as he reached over and plucked a single petal from the rose she held. He tilted a single drop of liquid from one of the brown bottles onto the petal.
“Rose water,” he said to her as he locked eyes with her for a second. He placed the rose petal into the mug, letting it float in the hot water. He poured the espresso into the mug of water, and took a spoon to scoop out the wilted petal, tossing it away before handing the drink to her.
She gave it a sip, and shut her eyes, a smile on her lips. Using a flower as aromatic as a rose was difficult to pull off in cuisine. Oftentimes the rose aroma was too overpowering, reminding one’s nose of perfume instead of food. Baejin’s Rose Americano, though, was the perfect balance of a good cup of coffee elevated with some elegance, refined by the subtlest hint of a rose’s sweet scent. The warm breath she exhaled after a hot sip of Americano filled her senses with flowery comfort.
“This is the most...beautiful cup of coffee I’ve ever tasted,” she replied, setting the mug down when she was half finished. “It tastes...beautiful.”
He gave a small chuckle, his eyes crinkling as he smiled. She bit her bottom lip, trying not to smile any wider than she already was. He was incredibly cute, grinning in reaction to her compliment. How could a man exude the amount of sensuality like BaeJin yet be so cute that she wanted to squish him like a marshmallow?
“You like it?” he asked.
“I do,” she replied. “I didn’t know a cup of Americano could be improved. Thank you for this cup of coffee. You’re a gifted barista.”
“Thank you. I would love to make you another drink.”
“I’ll try to come back one day,” she said earnestly.
She sipped her drink and glanced at her phone. Thanking her talented, handsome (and cute) barista BaeJin one last time, Sandy finished her drink and sprinted out of the odd, surreal cafe. She had to get ready for work. Smelling the pink rose in her hand, Sandy smiled to herself. Who knew her barista would be the first man to give her a rose?
--
“Diamond! Malibu was accidentally double booked,” Danielle called out into the dressing room. “Can you give a lap dance in the Blue Champagne Room before going home?”
“Wait,” Sandy said, holding the gold hoop earring she’d just taken off her left earlobe, “I’m not going to chase Malibu for the flat fee. The last time I covered for her, not only did her John not tip me but I had to chase her for 4 days before she gave me the cash.”
“I have a hard time chasing her down, too,” Danielle said with a heavy sigh, handing her purple vape pen to Sandy to hold. She dug into her pink and purple Bedazzled fanny pack, and fished out a few bills. She handed a bag of clothing to Sandy. “Let me know if this John is handsy or out of line. He’s a new customer. You have five minutes, babe. Fix your makeup.”
Handing the vape pen back to her boss, Sandy put the cash into her purse before shutting and locking the drawer to her vanity. She put her earring back on and retouched her eye makeup and lipstick. Her locks of hair looked good as she combed her fingers through her hair, looking into the mirror before getting up to change.
Sandy hadn’t exactly planned on becoming a stripper, but during her freshman year in college, she took a class on feminist studies, specifically on sex work. What started out as a learning experience in respecting sex work, and educating herself on the legal struggles of sex workers’ rights, Sandy soon found herself stripping as a means of extra income. She herself was in need of money, and recognized her beauty was valued enough that she could make capital from it.
Having walked out on her dysfunctional family as soon as she turned 18, Sandy had been hustling on her own for years. She was still working towards a career in law, but in the meantime, she was balancing between her day job as an unpaid intern at a shitty law firm and her night job as a stripper at a club called Blue Paradise. Giving lap dances were only nice when she received good tips, but they didn’t happen often enough. All she wanted was a good tip.
Pulling out the outfit Danielle handed to her, she took off her clothes and put on her new outfit. She wore a neon pink G-string bikini bottom with her matching lace bra under a black pencil skirt and a white costume button up office dress shirt. She put on a loose blue tie around her neck, and put on a pair of thick black framed glasses, matching it with her black leather knee high boots. Apparently, this new customer had a librarian kink.
Walking down the hall, toward the other side of the back of the club, she entered the room with the blue door at the end of the hall. The Champagne Rooms, where customers received their private lap dances, were color coded. The Blue Room was where the clients with specific kinks went.
Opening the door, Sandy pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose, and looked up to see her John seated on the black couch. The dim lighting of the room cast a shadow over his body, making it hard for her to make out his face. She blinked, and closed her mouth, realizing that her customer was her barista from PB Cafe, BaeJin. It had been days since she had her cup of Rose Americano.
He was wearing a loosely worn grey sweater with black denim jeans. She didn’t think it was possible but he looked more handsome than she last remembered. Perhaps, with her body so close to his, knowing that he was there for devious reasons, her face flushed and her nipples hardened as heat rushed through her body from head to toe.
“BaeJin!” she said, forgetting her sexy librarian character.
“Don’t move,” he said, looking alarmed. She stood completely still, one hand on the door handle. “You’re a stripper, Sandy?”
“You...you remember me?” He nodded. “Stripping is helping me pay for my law degree.” She licked her lips and tilted her head, pushing her chest forward slightly. “I can give you what you want.”
“I can’t do this,” he replied, crossing his left leg over his right. His eyes left her, and diverted to the ground. Her ego was bruised. Not only did she need the money, but her vanity made her feel upset that he didn’t want a lap dance from her. “I should go.”
“I have to try to keep you here,” she said shyly, pressing her back against the door. “If I don’t, that means I’m not good at my job.”
“How long should we be in here for you to be considered good at your job?” he asked, his eyes returning to meet her gaze.
“You don’t want a lap dance? Am I not cute? My tits too small?”
He gave a chuckle, and looked away when his eyes moved to her chest as she talked.
“You’re very cute,” he replied, “but that’s the problem. As a barista, I don’t date customers. Since you didn’t actually pay for your drink, I thought it’d be OK to ask you out if I ever saw you again. But if I pay for this lap dance, I wouldn’t want to ask you out. It’s not fair for me to proposition you while you’re working.”
“You’ve been thinking hard about me?” Her cheeks felt hot and goosebumps formed on her arms. “Would you accept my invitation if I asked you out after this? I’m actually supposed to be off work by now, but this is my last job tonight. If I don’t give you a lap dance, we didn’t cross any lines, right?”
He nodded, and she gave a nervous chuckle.
“You said that being a barista was your side hustle,” she said, noticing the expensive watch and ring on his left hand. Sex workers had to know street codes to keep themselves safe, and watches and rings were how gang members communicated their loyalties and rankings. “What’s your main job? You said it’s stressful.”
His right hand wrapped around his platinum watch, the case of the watch encrusted with diamonds. The C9 Gang was a wealthy gang with origins in Tokyo, Japan, platinum was their calling card. BaeJin’s gold band emerald ring sat on his middle finger, indicating he was a made man of high rank. Sandy was impressed; BaeJin had acclimated to a high status in a gang at a young age.
“How long have you been working here, Sandy?” he asked in response.
“Diamond,” she answered, her grip remaining firm on the door. “My stage name is Diamond.”
“Sandy...Diamond,” he said with a grin. He stood, and she took a deep inhale of breath as he took a step forward and pressed his body against hers, his left arm wrapping around her waist as his hand gripped onto her wrist. Her hold on the door handle loosened. “You are the diamond in the rough in Blue Paradise. You still want to invite me out on a date?”
She took a gulp of breath, staring deeply into his dark brown eyes. He licked his lips and her eyes drifted to his mouth. Giving the most gentle nod of her head, she said, “Yes.”
“I drive a blue Ferrari F60 America,” he said as the tip of his nose touched hers.
“I don’t know anything about cars,” she replied, shutting her eyes. His breath was warm, making it hard for her to breathe. He chuckled and she felt his head rest onto her shoulder.
She opened her eyes when she felt a hand touch her chin.
“I drive a blue car,” he said, his eyes drifting down her face to her lips. His thumb ran across her bottom lip gently, sending heat deep into her groin. Her stomach ached at the touch. “It’ll be the most expensive looking car you’ll see when you walk outside.” He looked directly into her eyes again. “I’m a dangerous man, Sandy...Diamond. I have to ask you one more time, do you want to keep talking to me?”
She chewed on the inside of her left cheek nervously, and furrowed her eyebrows. Given how close she was to getting the paid job as a paralegal at Johnston’s &Partners, Sandy was one step closer to her dreams of becoming a lawyer. Would it be ethical to date a gangster?
“Will you take me home or will we be going to your place?” she answered. Life was too short not to take risks.
--
Upon his request, she left work wearing her costume. BaeJin’s description of having the most expensive looking car was accurate. The navy blue car shone brighter than any other car, and the curves of the body created an elegant design to the car. He’d opened the passenger door for her. She realized her skirt barely covered her ass as the cold leather from the seat hit the back of her thighs.
He drove them up a curvy hill to get to his expensive mansion, placed behind a small forest. It sat atop of a mountainous hill, overlooking the bright lights of the city far below. BaeJin was a man of very high rank by the looks of his home. It was large and designed with multiple floor to ceiling windows. Sandy took a soft gulp of air as her mouth felt dry.
“Your home is beautiful,” she said when he led her into his home, the hallway lined with expensively framed paintings. The jade vase that held 3 white lilies beside the coat hanger looked like it was worth more than everything she owned, including the small amount of cash she had in her bank account.
BaeJin’s home aesthetic was minimalist, though each room had a piece of furniture that popped out, like the jade vase in the front entrance. In his bedroom, he had a rose gold encrusted full length mirror sitting at the foot of his bed. It was shameless, but did not surprise her. Their eyes locked as BaeJin sat down at the foot of the bed. Their fingers intertwined when she reached her left hand out to his outstretched right hand.
“I spent a week trying not to think about you,” he said, pulling her easily onto his lap. His free hand wrapped around her waist. “The closest thing to you was trying to get a stripper to dress up like a sexy librarian.”
“Aren’t you lucky?” she said, squeezing his hand. “You went to Blue Paradise wanting a fantasy. Instead, you left with your fantasy.”
His hand released hers and she felt his hand between her legs, sliding up against her slit. Shutting her eyes she gave a soft moan, surprised at his swift movement.
“You deserve the best in life,” he said into her ear before grazing his teeth gently against her neck. “Don’t ever settle for less.”
He kissed her, his lips warm and firm. His tongue parted her lips and she gave a soft hum. She pushed his tongue out of her mouth, appreciating the taste of floral green tea from him. Her fingers tangled into his hair, pulling him closer to her. He tasted better than the beautiful cup of Rose Americano.
With a clouded head, she helped him pull his sweater off as he aggressively pulled her top off of her, the cheap buttons popping loudly as they flew into the air. Her skirt failed to exist when he ripped the zipper and tore the fabric apart with his bare hands.
“Are you going to rip me apart?” she asked breathlessly when his fingers found their way under her bra, fondling her erect nipple. She gave a soft moan and he grinned as he pinched her sensitive bud.
“I’ll be as hard or soft as you want,” he assured her. The pad of his thumb grazed against her nipple. Her back shivered as a sharp heat rode up her back.
“I like a bit of both,” she said, her cheeks hot. It felt like a dream to have BaeJin telling her he would do as she wanted. “You ruined my skirt.”
“The cheap costume skirt?” he asked, his hand returning to rubbing her slit. “You don’t have to settle, remember?” She shut her eyes, her hand grabbing his arm as two of his fingers pressed against her clit. “I like you best without clothes anyway.” The heat intensified as his fingers moved down lower, moistening her panties with the slick heat coming out of her pussy. Her back shook again as his fingers moved up against her slit, and then back down. “Your voice is lovely.”
She moaned as she rested her head against his chest, his fingers continually creating more heat between her legs. One finger slipped under her panties, pulling the fabric away from her wet cunt. The back of his knuckle pressed against the engorged bud of her clit, and she mewled as he rubbed up and down against her.
“BaeBae,” she could only speak with a shaky breath, “BaeBae, I’m going to come.”
Her hips thrust haphazardly against his knuckle as a small flash of heat washed over her, goosebumps forming up the back of her neck. Her orgasm disappeared as soon as it came and she breathed through her mouth. Her pussy felt wet as her slick heat dripped out of her.
“I was just playing with you,” he said with an amused smile, his eyes locked onto the mess between her legs, including his wet fingers. He spread her juices onto her folds, and moved the pads of his index and middle fingers to draw small circles onto her clit. She mewled, shutting her eyes, as her hips rutted against the motions of his fingers. “But with you this wet, I can fuck you right now.”
“BaeBae,” she breathed out, opening her eyes.
Her eyebrows were furrowed as she looked at him. Wordlessly, she stood as their hands began removing each other’s clothes off. His expensive jewelry remained on as he pulled her back to his front, making her stand between his legs. His hand went between her legs and he massaged the inside of her thigh. She hummed a soft moan, enjoying the way his hand relaxed her muscles.
Both of his hands wrapped around her waist, and his lips kissed her neck. He requested she trust him, and one hand reached down to her right knee and had her stretch her leg out to rest over his. As his other hand went to her left knee, she understood what he was doing. He wanted a full view of her pussy so she sat on his lap with her legs hooked over his.
“Ready to put this to use?” he asked, his hands kneading her hips. His reflection from the mirror was staring at her. She saw the cheeks of her flushed face turn a bright red, and she tilted her head down to look away from the mirror. The blood coursing through her chest up to her head clouded her vision. “Look at us.”
His right hand cupped her face, and she felt his wrist press up against the front of her neck. The pulse from his wrist beat rapidly against the pulse on her neck, and she struggled to breathe as her eyes locked onto his from the reflection in the mirror. Hot blood rushed to her groin and her hips jerked forward, out of her control. His left arm wrapped around her waist had her firmly in his hold, so all she could do was wiggle in his lap. Feeling the muscles of his thighs flex under her made her buttocks tighten, her body anticipating his cock.
“If you let me take you raw,” he said softly against her ear, his eyes locked with hers through the reflection of the mirror, “that’ll make you mine.”
His hold on her face was gone as his hand grabbed his cock. He rubbed his hard cock against her slit. She bit her bottom lip as his heat caused more juices to pool out of her cunt. It made her nerves shake, itching her skin in unbearable heat. He blinked, and his eyebrows furrowed as she opened her mouth to breathe loudly.
“I’m yours,” she said clearly. He groaned as he pushed the tip of his cock into her entrance. “Give me everything, BaeJin.” Pleasure blinded her vision as she saw nothing but white and gold flecks of stars. She gave a loud gulp when she felt his hand grip onto her chin again, his wrist pressing against her throat. Her grip on his arms tightened as she held onto him for leverage. His cock pushed in deeper, and the walls of her pussy trembled as heat filled her body in overwhelming waves. “I’m yours.”
His lips were on her neck and when her vision cleared all her eyes could focus was on the way his cock was fucking her pussy. He started with shallow pushes, the rhythm steady as she bounced on his lap. She came and she gave a gentle mewl, blurting out his name as her walls squeezed his cock. A gentle chuckle escaped her lips as she saw him shut his eyes tight.
“You’re so easy to please,” he said as he pushed in deep. She gave a loud groan as he pulled out roughly before pushing in fast, going in balls deep. He started a steady, deep rhythm and she cried as she was filled with undiluted pleasure.
“You fuck so good,” she moaned, her hand reaching back to grab his hair. He sucked on her neck, leaving a red mark before he kissed her shoulder. “BaeJin, fuck me. I’m gonna - I’m - I’m gonna come.”
His grip around her waist tightened as he pushed faster into her, and they bent forward together as he came into her in deep pushes. Her fingers dug into his skin as she shut her eyes, taking in the sensation of his hot seed filling up her insides.
“Come,” he panted out heavily as she felt him withdraw from her. She whimpered as she felt his middle finger push into her come-filled cunt. His thumb rubbed up against her clit, making her nerves dance in hot waves. She cried out a soft orgasm as she came again. She breathed heavily as she rested against his body.
“We barely know each other,” she said after a while. She didn’t know how long they sat together, staring at their reflection before she finally spoke.
“We have the rest of our lives to get to know each other,” he said, running a hand up and down her thigh, sending heat up and down her back. “You are mine now.”
He pulled her off his lap, and they laid in bed together. A shiver went down her back as he kissed her shoulder. They were facing each other, her left leg locked between his muscular thighs.
Giving a laugh, she watched him grab her wrist. He kissed the inside of her wrist before kissing the inside of her elbow. She shut her eyes as she felt his lips on her shoulder. Every kiss sent a vibrating heat under her skin. His mouth sucked on her neck and she grabbed onto the back of his hair as his teeth grazed against her skin. The muscles in her stomach tightened. The world ceased to exist as BaeJin’s embrace consumed her.

I hope you all love it. if you see mistakes, no you didn't. this was written on my phone and not thuroughly proofread. whoopsie.
Homecoming Dance was just around the corner and I was the lucky member of staff to be a chaperone. Voluntold as they like to say. I had no choice but to agree. Not like I had anything planned for the weekend, especially Saturday night.
“Tickets will be sold at the day of the dance. And if any one has someone that would like to volunteer for the dance to be a chaperone, please contact me or the principal or even Mr. Levinson,” I said, putting my number up with the principal and Mr. Levinson number.
“Please let them call or text us before Friday, please!” I expressed, the bell ringing. Dismissing the class, I smiled at each one and waved them off.
Sighing softly, I sat down at my desk and sat back against the chair. Spinning slowly toward the board and looking at the names of those that needed to turn in late assignments.
“I’ve gotten four calls in the last hour,” Ari said, sitting at a student desk that was in front of mine. His hands gripping the front of it as he sat. He chuckled softly. “All of them women. But I did say yes to all of them,” he muttered, leaning back against the seat.
I smiled at him, shaking my head as I watched him. “Well aren’t you so lucky. It must be because they think their kids' teacher is very attractive. I haven’t gotten any!” I said, soon hearing my phone vibrate on my desk. Scared me too. “Looks like my luck is about to change!”
“Hello?” I answered, a familiar voice on the other end. “Hu- Ransom! Hi there. You’d like to…. Chaperone? Didn’t peg you for the chaperone type. For a high school homecoming dance,” I teased, I could see Ari lifting his brow.
“Yeah well, I don’t have much to do on a Saturday night,” Ransom said. He did, but he’d much rather get to know her.
“Well, I’ll put your name down. I’ll even use ‘Ransom’ as preferred name,” I said, smiling as I wrote his name down. “Great. Saturday. 5 pm. Sound good?” I confirmed and he answered ‘yes’. “See you then,” I said, hanging up.
Ari looked at me, smiling wide as he let out a soft chuckle. “Was that… you flirting?” He asked, tilting his head slightly.
“What? No. He’s cute but no. Agh, maybe. He drove up next to me when I was walking to my car. Said he wanted to make sure I got in my car safely,” I confessed, smiling softly to myself. My eyes glanced at Ari, who was just watching me thoughtfully.
“Seems he might think you’re cute too,” he said, soon standing to his feet and smiled softly. “See you Saturday,” he said, knocking his knuckle on my desk before exiting.
SATURDAY NIGHT --
The weekend had finally rolled by. Every student telling me about their dresses, suits, and other forms of attire they were planning to wear. Some even showing me pictures. I was happy my students were excited to show me, that they liked me enough to share.
Having been sent home to get dressed, I took the opportunity to look nice. After all, Ransom was going to appear. If he did. Shit. He might’ve changed his mind. Decided chaperoning was something dumb to do on a Saturday night.
‘Why are you even worried? Why do you even care? Jeez,’ I thought, shaking my head. The thoughts fleeting as I applied my mascara. Doing the final touches to the natural looking make up I decided to do.
I had dressed in the knee length red dress that had a floral pattern and the sleeves weren’t that long; cutting at the middle of my upper arms, strings tied into a not so perfect bow.
I slipped on my nude, two inch heeled sandal. The one that didn’t have the strap that wrapped around my ankle. Looking myself in the mirror, I fixed my dress. Leaving my bed room, I made it to the front door of my apartment. Unlocking the door and grabbing my small purse in the process. I walked out and made my way down the stairs, happy I only lived on the second floor.
Getting into my car, immediately locking the door, I started it up and leaned against the seat while pulling on my seatbelt.
I made to the school in time, an hour before the gym doors opened for the dance. Getting out of my car, I locked it and rounded the back of my car when I heard someone say my name. Walking up next to me, Ransom slowed. Wearing a tan overcoat, a Persian scarf, and cable knit sweat underneath with slacks for his pants. His shoes a light brown to tie in the tan jacket. I smiled at him, while his lips turned up slightly.
“Wow. You clean up very nice,” I said, smiling warmly. “Wasn’t sure if you were actually gonna show up.”
He tilted his head at me, as if I was joking.
“Only because… who really wants to spend their Saturday night… chaperoning a high school dance,” I explained further, walking with the male toward the entrance of the gym.
“Wasn't too sure, either. Dances were never my thing unless I had a hot date and we hooked up behind the bleachers on the track field,” Ransom said, a smirk playing on his lips as he watched me. His eyes scanning me.
“Well, I definitely owe you one for coming. We only have you and another guy chaperoning today. Most are women. I was voluntold to be here,” I said, chuckling softly as we approached the gym. One of the yearbook committee kids at the table with another person; assuming someone to keep her company.
They greeted me, and I smiled at them. “Hi Maxine. Hi Danny,” I said.
Ransom opened the door for me and I walked in. He was soon beside me again, as if not wanting to get lost. “Don’t worry. It’s very hard to lost in a school like this,” I teased, walking to the large group of women that surrounded the refreshment table.
“All right, I’ll be giving everyone their duties! I have about ten of you. This is great! Oh, hey!” Ari was speaking to the group, waving at me when he saw me. “About time!” He exclaimed, eyes shifting to the male beside me.
“You must be Hugh Drysdale,” Ari said, “I’m Ari Levinson. Welcome!” He continued, looking at the list on his clipboard. I could have sworn I told Ari to call Hugh Ransom.
“It’s Ransom! Don’t call me Hugh,” Ransom said, smirking softly as he eyed Ari that soon shifted his gaze toward me then back to Ransom.
“Sorry man. Ransom. Got it,” Ari confirmed, and I nudged Ransom softly. I smiled and I could see his lips slowly turning into a smile.
Calling my name, Ari said, “I want you and Ransom at the refreshment areas. Around an hour in, we’ll rotate so everyone can get a chance to dance if they’d like to. Vilma,” he continued, telling the other ladies where they’d be.
“You look really beautiful tonight,” Ransom said as we walked around the table to set up the cups of punch. I smiled, letting a small chuckle escape my lips.
“Thank you,” I said, filling the last cup that would fit on the table.
The lights soon dimmed, the DJ playing a song as kids started to flow the gymnasium. Some dancing to the fast beats of the new music, some throwbacks being played. I continued to fill cups of punch, Ransom busy at the side of me and handing out plates of food. From the stage, I saw Ari come up to the mic. “Staff and volunteers, time to switch,” he said, telling the DJ to keep up the good work.
Ransom and I moved to the side as Vilma and Jackie took over the table. We covered the exit nearest us and that’s when a random slow song began to play.
“Wanna dance?” Someone said, and I looked to my left to see a student. Hand extended. “Why it’d be an honor!” I exclaimed, taking it and glancing at Ransom. Making my way to the dance floor with Frankie, I rested my hands on his shoulders as he didn’t quite have a growth spurt just yet. His hands rested in between my hips and waist.
“Sorry kid, but imma cut in. She owes me a dance,” Ransom interjected, hand on the kids shoulder. The kid nodded, stepping to the side and that was when Ransoms moved from my hip to his arm wrapping around my waist, his free hand taking mine and letting my other hand wrap around his neck.
“Why, Hugh. Didn’t know you could dance,” I said, smiling softly as I watched his features lighten.
“Hmm. Dancing is fun when you have someone beautiful as your partner,” he said, and I had to shake my head. Eyes looking into his, hand wrapped in his, my other playing at the hairs at the nape of his neck. It was a surreal moment.
In the corner of my eye, I could see Ari in the corner of the gym. Eyes locked on me. When I made eye contact with him, he smiled and looked away to tend to a task the he saw on his clipboard.
The song soon ended, and we drilled our movements. Eyes staring into his, I licked my lips nervously as his hand moved from my frame and his hand cupped my cheek.
“I don’t know… why or how, but for some reason I couldn’t get you out of my mind,” he muttered, eyes slowly drifting to my lips.
“I know your type Ransom Drysdale. And I will not be played,” I whispered, slowly moving from his trance. “One more dance?” I asked, continuing to play with his hair. He nodded in agreement, pulling me close.
From what I research about Ransom was that he was a playboy, a womanizer. Why was he so sudden in wanting to kiss me (at least I assumed he wanted to)? To be near me? To have his mind filled with thoughts of me? It burned in the back of my head. My guard was up, and it would never come down around Ransom. Not now, anyway.

Tumblr media
" Let's just part ways here, " Saying those words felt a bit disheartening at some point, yet you chose to disregard it.
You walked forwards, while Chan stayed in his position, wearing his coat and fixing his tie. Although, something stopped you. As in you couldn't go forwards as much as you force to. Well when you did force yourself, it only tugged Chan towards you. Turning around, he was already eyeing you. " What was that for?! "
Glaring at the thread, you thought out loud, " Is this string telling me, it can only stretch itself approximately at 7 meters?! "
Tumblr media
Twin buildings towered above you two, heavy work's shouting for the both of you. You suddenly feel so small when you found out who this dude was in the company. Either way, you stepped inside the building next to him as if you're supposed to be. You don't have any other choice though unless you wanna be dragged by this buff guy and look like a fool rolling around since the thread is invisible to the public.
" I'm surprised that you don't know who I am, " He stated as you entered the elevator with him. You could tell how much of a fuss this is already when you walked in those doors alongside him.
" Does it really have to be my fault when I only started working here a few months ago, Mr. CEO? " He responded with a chuckle.
" It's Mr. Bang, well, at work. You can call me Chan when we're not. I don't like such formality and bringing work on my rest hours. "
" Oh, so you're that Mr. Bang. The one I hid from last night, " You whispered the last sentence.
" Pardon? " The elevator chimed as you reached your floor, opening its doors swiftly.
" It's.. It's nothing, " You stuttered and hastily stepped out of the elevator while Chan followed. " Why are we on my floor again? Isn't yours like, at the very top floor just to have that stunning view of the world or something? "
" Seems like some fanfiction you got there for me, " He chuckled first while you lowered your head in embarrassment. " But no, my office is at the opposite building, about two or three levels above yours which means it's the middle floor. In addition to that, I have to discuss matters with your boss due to some adjustments that we have over here, " He brought up his thumb to your view, talking about the red string. " Just hand over the documents then wait for me outside by the door, copy? " Chan explained as he stopped in front of a dark oak door, knocking on it three times.
" Adjustments? What- "
" Come in, " The voice on the other side of the door called out. You could've had a short session of hesitations first but this Bang Chan just opens the door widely and gives off such superior vibes that gave you the chills - like he should 'cause he's the CEO, he freaking owns the place. You did wonder why you haven't been fired yet after every informalities you've shown to him. What a great first impression you got there for a Chief Executive Officer, you're never gonna get a promotion to get out of this trashy position.
The surprising entrance of the uninvited and unexpected guest caught your boss off-guard. " Ah! G-Good morning, Mr. Bang! " Ms. Kang frantically stood up and bowed, her phone slipping off of her hands and onto the desk. Looking up, she saw you behind Chan, your hand fidgeting around the strap of your bag while head held down. " And Ms... (Y/N)? " She questioned as she averted her eyes back to Chan.
" Pardon me although I won't be here for long, I'm only handing you the documents like you instructed, Ms. Kang. " You said while handing her the documents. She took a quick scan on it before she gestured you to leave. Following Chan's instructions, you wait by the door as soon as you've shut it. Trying your best to not let curiosity get the best of you and eavesdrop, you distracted yourself by scrolling through your phone and jamming to some Monsta X's songs.
" May I ask what business brought you here to my office? "
" I'd like to compromise. "
Tumblr media
It wasn't long that you've thought about getting fired and promotions, not even hours had passed.
Yet here you are, promoted and working as the CEO's assistant on that very day like it's the only choice. Standing on the polished marble floors, opposite side of the building, in his high-class office. It was spacious enough to fit two office desks and a lounge (probably for coffee breaks or small meetings) yet grand-looking with the accent walls and chandelier. The smell of lavender and the nice fluorescent glow it had made it better. Speaking of glow, you suddenly missed Kim Seungmin, the only co-worker friend you got. His bright presence who would constantly bother you from time to time during work hours. You can't really pinpoint whether he is an angel or demon with that fact because most likely you're the one being scolded instead of him. He better be jealous by the time he finds out you're now a CEO's Assistant.
" Ms. Kang got what she wished for in exchange for you getting the 2nd best achievable seat in the company, " Chan continued to elaborate the discussion in the room where it happened as he took a seat, not even bothering to help you fix your new desk if he was a gentleman. Honestly, it's undeniably comfortable being around this man despite you only got acquainted with him this day.
" Seriously? Can't you just promote me with a snap of your fingers? " You whined, arranging all of your things out from the container.
" Maybe if I had the infinity stones, " He first joked and you're not taking it. " Although it's Ms. Kang, there's an exchange for everything with her, " He casually said, looking through his emails with his chin resting on his fist.
" I- " Learn to shut your pesky little mouth, (Y/N). Your own conscience just sealed your mouth from babbling nonsense.
Well, let's think about the bright side. First up, you're promoted, meaning you'll get a way higher pay than before. Second, you're free from Ms. Kang's grasp. Third, Chan seems like a nice and chill boss. If your impression on him will be proven wrong, in any way he couldn't be as worse as Ms. Kang 'cause so far he saved your butt and doesn't mind your attitude.
" Ah, right. You're staying at my house for the meantime, " The book you're trying to place on the top shelf just fell on your head, making you lose your balance and fall to the ground. The loud thump made Chan glance at you, preventing himself from laughing. With your head aching and vision uneven, you tried to process what he said.
" What did you say? " Chan stood up from his chair and made his way towards you.
" I said you're staying at my house until we figure out how to break this thread off, " He answered as he offered a hand for you to take. This simple action made you tense, feeling your face heating up. You gladly took it with weak legs, though you eventually got back to your own feet without his support.
" Yours? Why not mine? I bet it's closer to work than yours. "
" You got a lot of complaints, I hope you know that. "
" No I'm not! Just.. talkative, " You bluffed, pouting. " And fine, your house then. Mine's probably not as presentable as yours anyway. "
Tumblr media
This is the red string of fate that kept you two together the whole time, knotted around one another's finger securely. Both of you share the same thoughts while sitting on the couch in the living room of Chan's luxurious penthouse. It did offer extravagant views of Seoul from the top of the apartment, making everything feel so surreal. Could it possibly be malfunctioning? It's supposed to stretch out without limitations as well as it'll be invisible to the naked eye including yours, according to the tales and legends you've heard as a child. Most importantly, how could you break it off?
" Maybe this had to do something with the child, " Chan thought to himself, legs crossed and eyes trained down to the floor. " You cleared our schedule for the week, correct? " He looked towards you, catching your gaze on him.
" Yes, I did. Why? " You couldn't help but be enchanted in his brown eyes. It did look brighter in the sunset than before as the sunlight kissed his face. You wanted to take a closer look at it as to what it may hold within those orbs.
" You know the child back in the train? The one who placed this string of fate around our fingers? " With those words, you were snapped back into reality.
" Child? No? I was asleep, remember? " You looked away and a dog's appearance caught your attention, feeling soft and in 'awe' for it immediately. It had some large brown spots on its white fur, fluffy and has this wavy ears. It looks quite similar to that dog named 'Lady' in "Lady and the Tramp". Noticing that it was really friendly even with strangers, you patted its head lightly as it neared you. Chan witnessed you bond with his partner, smiling. The dog was ecstatic to make new friends with you that it jumped to your lap. Giggling, you ruffled its fur and kissed its forehead. " Seems like you're well loved, baby~ " You cooed, booping its nose.
" She's Berry, by the way. " Chan informed you while watching you play with berry's paws.
" I have to say, she's the cutest, " You flashed a beaming smile at him, eyes forming into crescents. Chan couldn't do anything but smile back, his heart slowly melting at the scene in front of him. You caught the sight of his dimples, which made you think that it's now one of your favorite features he has. If everyday's like this, it'd be such a bliss. Yet you know it'll somehow be just another memory you'll treasure since there will be an end to this.
Back to reality, Chan further tells you the details of the occurrences while you were sleeping. " Ah, right. About the child. If my memory serves me correct, he was blonde headed and had ocean blue-like eyes. He's about 4'6 feet in height and the one who placed this thread around our fingers. When I tried to run after him, he just vanished into thin air. "
" You sure you're not being delusional? " You carefully placed berry down on the couch then made your way to the kitchen.
" Positive. " He replied while petting his companion, who's getting some rest first, before following you. You asked him what his plans were, wrapping your fingers around the refrigerator handle. Opening it, you scanned for available foods due to your stomach being upset in this whole conversation. There's a lot of goods, especially meat. You're assuming that this man eats a lot even when he's on his own. While you were busy with that, Chan thinks of an itinerary for the whole week to get your own lives back. Until, his deep thoughts were interrupted by you.
" How about we eat dinner first so then you can plan properly, hm? You want steak? " You asked, placing the ingredients you need right in front of his view. His eyes just twinkled before you and were already on the raw steak, famished.
" Chris wants steak, please! " Enthusiastically said by Chris, giggling afterwards.
" Steak coming right up just for Chris! " He responded with a small clap, smiling ear to ear. You have to be honest, your first meeting with him is just the worst than any other possible happenings to you two's first meeting. Yet you're satisfied that at least you met him in some way that brought you closer, especially with this string of fate. And today's gonna be a long night for the both of you.
Tumblr media
It's very late at night yet your body wouldn't let you rest despite Chan giving you his whole king-sized bed while he sleeps on his divan couch a few meters away, or so you thought he's fast asleep. Although the comforter, mattress, pillows, just the bed as a whole is definitely a 5-star, you can't really sleep easily in someone else's home that you just met. Minutes that felt like hours passed, your eyes were blankly staring at the ceiling. The silence was quite dreadful for you usually at night, which is what you get for watching a fairly ton of horror movies. With a few sessions of hesitations, you decided to break it by calling Chan first. " Psst. Hey Chan. Who designed your house? "
After a short pause, you received a fade sound of shifting and a groan. " A friend of mine. His name's Hyunjin. Why do you ask? " He responded, staring at the same ceiling as you. Arms resting behind his head.
You laid down on your stomach then propped your chin on your hands, facing him. " Is he cute? "
" Seriously, (Y/N)? " He deadpanned. " Also he's already Changbin's anyway so I suggest you stay away unless you want a death wish. "
" Okay, Okay. Chill. I'm just asking, " You rolled your eyes. " I just can't sleep. "
" I already offered you the best bed there is. " Chan looked at your direction and glared.
" It's not that. It's from the fact that I can't fall asleep easily in a stranger's house, that's for sure, " You shifted again in the soft cream cotton bed, letting your body sink. It's like you're laying on a relieving cloud in the heavens.
" We've already passed the stranger level. Let's say we're acquaintances. "
" That doesn't make any such difference especially to my problem but okay. " You pouted.
A long pause surrounded the room, the chills slowly creeping on to your skin. You covered your whole body with the warm comforter, feeling the slumber visiting you little by little. A yawn escaping your lips and eyes getting droopy. Pondering for a second before you let yourself sleep, you took a last glance towards Chan. " Are you cold? " You asked when you saw him without any blankets. He responded with a hum.
" A little bit. But I'll be alright, don't worry, " He yawned, eyes getting heavy as he slowly visited dreamland. " Goodnight, (Y/N). "
However, before you reply, you silently get off the bed when you're sure Chan's too tired to even open his eyes again. Making your way around the room with tippy toes until you found what you needed. You've gone over to his divan couch where he occupies it, placing the blanket you found on top of his and Berry's body, who happen to be sleeping peacefully right next to him. With a weak smile, you finally greeted him back before heading back to the bed and your slumber, " Goodnight Chan, Berry. Sweet dreams. "
Tumblr media
Almost afternoon came but none of you decided to rise and shine, except for Berry who's starting to get hungry. It was indeed past her usual breakfast time and she doesn't seem to like the sound of having 'brunch'. So then to get what she needed, she has to be the doggo clock for today.
Berry starts barking the best that she could although it didn't make any much effect, Chan only responded by covering his ears and turning away while you stayed unbothered in your deep sleep. She proceeds to hop back on Chan's couch and licks his face, surely an effective way. He immediately flinched at the wet contact and moved Berry's face away from his, slowly opening his eyes to meet an adorable face smiling at him. " Good morning to you too, " He replied followed with a yawn.
The King Charles Spaniel dog makes her way out of the room after accomplishing step one. While Chan took his time before completely getting out of bed - or rather, couch. With a few stretches and after taking a glance at the time, he made his way out of the room to make breakfast. He glanced towards your sleeping figure. Mumbling a silent, " Thank you. " for what you've done to him in the middle of the night before carefully closing the door behind him.
Before he could even reach the kitchen, a tug from his thumb stopped him in his tracks. Chan forgot that the string of fate only has a length of 7 meters. Sighing, he went back to you and thankfully found you still fast asleep.
Chan sat down on the edge of the bed, your back facing him. Once more, his dark brown eyes gazed upon your sleeping beauty state underneath the sunlight. Once more, he admired this mesmerizing view of you for a good few seconds. He lightly tapped your shoulder, causing you to shift your body to face him while responding with a hum. " Good morning, it's time to rise and shine, " He greeted in his husky morning voice, unknowingly smiling sweetly at you. You replied with a groan, covering your whole body with the comforter. " C'mon, let's go and have breakky. "
" You should've woken me up when breakfast is ready, " You whined, your voice muffled underneath the comforter. Chan chuckled then pulled down the comforter away from your face, " I would've if it wasn't for this string. Now come on. ". You groaned, feeling defeated. Sitting up on the bed, you opened your eyes to meet Chan's face filled with softness and joy. Seeing that first thing in the morning made you smile. It was lovely.
A loud bark from outside of the room interrupted, assuming that Berry's dying of hunger. You instinctively hopped off the bed and hastily made your way to Berry, Chan followed suit. At the kitchen, you both found Berry sitting in front of her food bowl, whimpering. " Oh no, the baby's hungry, " You cooed as you knelt down to pet her. " Chan, you can start making our breakfast, " He followed your instruction, putting on an apron and started preparing you two's breakfast.
" Where's her food, by the way? "
Tumblr media
" Are you sure we're gonna find him here? " You questioned, walking a little behind Chan at the same train station yesterday. His strides were big and quite fast which made it difficult for you to keep up at his pace. To the point that your eyes were set on the floor where you have a clear view of you two's feet. You're trying to match his pace but you immediately get worned out and fall behind once more. You guessed it was a CEO thing.
" Well, did you see him in any other places? " You fell silent, continuing to keep up with his pace. The fact that you've been asleep during that time and missed the chance to see who's behind this string of fate hit you. Chan's considered lucky to be awake and witness it.
Chan took a glance behind him to see your reaction, only to find you struggling to match with his settled pace. As soon as he noticed it, he slowed down and matched his pace with yours. Confused, you looked up at him. There were no signs of annoyance or pity on his face, and that made you delighted. What a considerate guy.
It wasn't that long until you both got in the train. The two of you sat down next to each other on a vacant bench and let the train lightly sway you as it starts moving. There was a comfortable silence lingering in the train car as you waited for this child to come into your view. Fortunately, the train's not as crowded as you thought it would be so it would be easier for you to spot the child.
After 3 more stops, you started to get distracted. Your eyes boring onto the view of the opposite window side. Chan kept cautious in his surroundings, still having high hopes of seeing the child's appearance. He didn't realize how much time had already passed and sooner or later, they'll reach the last stop. On the other hand, you slowly began to get drowsy. It's probably because you're sleep deprived for the past few weeks, over-working yourself since that Ms. Kang came into your life. You let your head rest on Chan's shoulder unconsciously which surprised him. With that, Chan first made sure you were comfortable, setting aside the thought of needing to meet the child. He hesitated first, though he did ended up wrapping his arm around you and kept you close to him. Feeling relaxed and secured, you shut your eyes as you slept in his warm embrace.
Chan noticed how much exhausted you are during the time he's been with you. He may not know exactly how tough your previous boss was to you, but it did show a huge impact on you. He thought that you looked so fragile underneath his touch, and he greatly feared the moment you might break. So he made sure to be careful with you. But other than that, he felt the urge - the need or wanting to protect you at that moment. He did questioned why, out of all people, he felt it from and because of you.
Maybe, it's because you looked so exquisite especially under the sunlight. Maybe, it's because he thought you looked adorable and amusing at the same time when you whine or complain. Maybe, it's because you're motherly especially to Berry.
Maybe, he just caught feelings for you. That's why he's questioning " why you? ", it was already love.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately for the both of you, you never got to encounter the mysterious child once more. Days have already passed, it has been almost a week. Yet to you and Chan's dismay, no signs of the boy at all. The both of you began to lose hope and just give up. Especially you.
You felt guilty for being the least focused between the two of you, leaving Chan more responsibilities. Find the mystic child and to look out for you. You weren't really in the best shape right now, Chan knew that. You easily got tired, tend to oversleep, and you're hella pale, which you knew well that it isn't so you. " I'm sorry, " You mumbled weakly, your legs crossed and back lean on the couch pillows. Trying to not lay down and sleep more since you did just woke up from a faint.
Hearing this, Chan head over to you then immediately refused. " No, no, no. It's alright, no need to apologize. Just focus on getting better right now, okay? " You replied with a small nod, his warm hands were on yours. That simple touch always made your blood color your cheeks and feel so shy. He went back to the kitchen to continue preparing your dinner as soon as he is satisfied with your answer. In the mean time, Berry made sure to keep you busy and entertained.
While Chan's dicing some pork on a cutting board, he took a glance at the red string wrapped around his thumb. He noticed a small difference to it ever since the first day you both tried to look for the child. It had more of a faint color red, losing its opaqueness. Almost like it's about to vanish which is at some point is a good thing. Though it still has its limitations for length and never broke at your own will. He wondered if you have noticed it as well. What would it be like to be back on your own lives? Chan would be lying if he managed to picture that when he felt disheartened just at the thought of it. He got used to your small complaints, you baby talking and spoiling his dog, needing to be taken care of - when you're unable to do it yourself, even the pocket knife in your bag, that he couldn't imagine you being gone. You did became apart of his life afterall and that left him thinking of making you stay. Chan already figured that he's starting to like you back then on the train, 1st day of hunting down the child.
Which got him pondering. Concluding to a theory that maybe, this string of fate isn't going to vanish. It was only starting to get invisible to your naked eye, just like what you originally thought it would function. But it will always be there no matter what. This string of fate just happens to be more translucent the more you both realize how much you love each other.
Chan tore his gaze away from the string, switching to your pale figure in the living room. Once he knew he could leave the food cooking for a while, he grabbed a glass of water and went back to you. " You like that friend of yours, huh? " You referred to Berry's favorite dog plush. Seeing Chan in your peripheral vision, you locked eyes with him. Beaming him the sweetest smile you could muster which he instantly returned. He offered you the drink and you gladly took it into your hands. Taking a sip, you could feel Chan's eyes burning through your skin. Heat rushes to your face just by that. It's frustrating how you're so easy when he's by your side and only with him. Frequently getting the butterflies, timid, blushy, heart racing, distracted by how ethereal he is, and everything related. And you completely denied your feelings for him.
Chan took a seat beside you, now looking at the pitch black night sky out of his window walls. Those dark brown orbs showed a hint of disappointment. Following his gaze, you figured out the reason. The sky's literally pitch black, starless. As well as the moon being nowhere in sight. The melancholic sight did brought a frown to your face and you couldn't stand it. Looking back at him, you realized that there's no need for you to be crestfallen. In fact, you should be in awe.
It seems like Chan took and held the whole galaxy in his eyes that's why the night sky is empty. His eyes twinkling and shining in the darkness. Many must've envied him for that and it feels so surreal to witness it in by your very own eyes. To have it in front of you. And maybe, just maybe.
You do like Bang Chan.

" Where the hell are you taking me, Chan?! " You quietly panicked as Chan led you to an unfamiliar forest. Just the thought of the crawlies present in places like this made you shudder. " D-Do you really think the child would be brave enough to be here when I am already cowering in fear just looking at this? "
" We're not here for that child, " He chuckled at your state, continuing to walk ahead of you and deeper into the woods. Your wary eyes stayed restless, darting from left to right. " We're here to just relax. " Chan's voice began to echo the farther he is away from you.
You started to get pissed at how he started being inconsiderate and how relaxed he is right now, that's definitely not what you know about him. " What the fuck are you talking about?! So we're just wasting our ti- " The sudden raise of your voice resulted a noise in the forest - sounded like a bird flapping its wings. The sound made you flinch then you picked up your pace to get to him. You tugged onto Chan's jacket which caused him to stop and look back to you. " Chan, please, let's just go home. " You hushly pleaded from behind him, your head hung low in fear and embarrassment.
Sighing, Chan held both of your hands in his. Rubbing circles on it for you to ease up. The both of you still connected by the string of fate, which looks like it's bound to vanish soon. He also noticed how you're short in breath. " Easy, easy. Take deep breaths with me, yeah? " You matched his breathing with yours, eventually loosening up in his warmth like always. You just felt so safe and secure when you're with him. " Let's proceed? I promise you that when we get there, it'll be worth it. " He reassured, never leaving his grip on you.
" Chan.. " You whimpered and Chan instantly hushed you.
" If it makes you feel better, I'll never let go of you, " Oh how you wished that'll last forever. " Sounds good? " You nodded hesitantly.
With that, you let Chan lead you towards his destination. The comfort of his hands wrapped around yours never left on the way just like he promised. It wasn't too long until you saw light at the end of the forest. You could hear faint sounds of waves meeting the seashore and birds singing a melody. The fear you had a while ago slowly washed away as you're nearing the place.
Reaching the light, you witnessed the jaw dropping sight of the beach on the other side of the fence. Like Chan said, it is promising and worth it. He guided you in hopping onto an enormous boulder to get to the other side and you didn't complain, you're too drawn into the beach. In excitement, you went ahead of Chan, letting go of his grasp. Your feet immediately ushering you to the seashore where you could feel the cold water at your toes. As soon as you got here, you felt like you were cleansed. As if the sea took every problem, worries and fears away from you. It was healing and just the thought of it made you smile unknowingly. You never knew you needed this until now, it has been years since the last time you've been this carefree.
On the other hand, Chan's seated at his usual place. Where he could take in the whole view. Now that you were apart of it, everything seemed to set into place for his secret escapade paradise. All felt just right. The way you dance with the waves, moving with the sea, completely letting the rhythm of the water set yourself free. Plus the wind blowing your hair, your face glowing underneath the sun, how blinding your smile was at that moment, he cherished it all. " Perfect with no reasons, " Chan thought out loud as his eyes were trained on you. Unbeknownst to him, it was loud enough for you to hear it clearly.
" Perfect? " You questioned, making your way to his side. His eyes widened, alarmed. Chan looked away without hesitation. The tip of his ears starting to turn red in embarrassment. You sat down next to him, knowing that you'll be bringing some sand in your pockets back home. Noticing his ears, you let out a hearty laugh. " Aww, look at you! "
" I know, I know, " He started, covering his ears. " I'm helpless. "
" Huh? What are you talking about? " You asked while tilting your head to the side in confusion. There was a short pause, only the sound of waves continuously ringing in the area could be heard. As well as the sound of leaves rustling while the wind whispers sweet nothings to it and palm trees swaying from side to side.
" Like- "
" If this is you doubting yourself again, gosh Chan you're not the helpless one between the two of us. " You pointed out with your arms crossed. " You're a CEO of a well known company! Plus, who took care of me? You. Who saved my ass from Ms. Kang? You. Who just comforted me a while ago? You. You are never incapable or weak. If anyone told you otherwise, I- "
" I'm helplessly in love with you is what I meant, (Y/N)! " Chan confessed, now facing you.
Then, the thread in your fingers entirely loosened without any of you knowing.
The two of you locked eyes for a minute. Both surprised by everything, especially you. The wind did whisper something to the two of you, too. Yet it's difficult to figure it out at the moment. Even in broad daylight, his eyes still held the whole galaxy. And you could never let that dim.
" You walked into my life as if you've always lived there, like my heart was a home built just for you, " Chan continued, his hand already searching for yours. Looking down at your now intertwined hands, eyes filled with pure love and adoration. " It fits just like a glo- "
Perfect with no reasons.
Chan was taken by surprise at your sudden answer. You cutted him off, attaching your lips to his. Your free hand finding itself cupping his face. He then passionately responded to the kiss, his arm snaking its way around your waist to keep you close - now that the string of fate is invisible and endless. The kiss resulted you to feel so lightheaded. The softness of his lips brought you to euphoria, everything just felt so right in place. In the end, both of you were left breathless. You couldn't do anything for a few seconds after, keeping your eyes closed with mouth agape of you to try let your mind process what just happened.
You did't need for him to explain or give you anymore reasons why he loves you. The string of fate has always been the answer, reason and explanation to your love. Ever since the beginning, you and Chan are destined to meet regardless of the time, place or circumstances. It may stretch or tangle but nothing could break it and never will. You're one another's someone's someone who you can't live without.

"Babe? Baby? Hello, are you there?" Mingi's voice repeatedly called out to me.
But I was in such a shocked form I needed a while to even realise who's voice that was, the realisation hitting me hard suddenly. So hard, it felt like a bullet had hit my heart and teared it in two halfs. I didn't want to believe it in that moment because it just seemed to surreal to be true that he had betrayed our shared love, but I think he really had broken my heart that second. And it felt impossible to heal again.
Though, I wanted to break off civilized and maybe give him a chance to explain why exactly he'd been seen with another girl by my so called "friends". I'd find it stupid to be that sensitive and just cut our bond like that. Both of us wouldn't deserve it that way.
"Mingi, we need to talk. When will you be here?" I needed everything in me to control the tone of my voice and not let him know what a cry baby I was. I had avoided the word "home" on purpose, unable to think about the fact that we practically shared this apartment since we got together.
I couldn't see it, but I knew that he frowned after my words. Not sure if he should feel guilty or worried. I think probably he was more worried because he was pretty protective and attentive when it was about me, and he always knew when something was up with me or if I were just joking. Mingi could feel the tension building up in his veins. And within the next few minutes not only blood rushed through them, pure adrenalin were mixed with it, by the intense fear he felt.
"Why, baby? Is everything okay? Don't make me worried, please. I called because I wanted to tell you that I'll be with you in around ten minutes." He answered, already feeling how sweaty his hands felt on the steering wheel.
He gets home late on Saturdays and always calls me when he's on his way. Although the only thing that buzzed inside my head was, why he would make all this effort for me and our valuable relationship when he had someone else to love.
Maybe we still had hope? Or he just wanted to keep a good reputation and break up with me without me knowing he'd found another girl.
I shook my head, in order to get rid of those awful thoughts. It began hurting more and more each second that had past.
"That's good. I'll see you then. Drive safe." I ended the call. Even if he had made big mistake, I still cared for him and I didn't want him to drive home faster and have an accident just because of me.
●●Author's POV●●
Mingi didn't understand anything anymore. He was eager to know what in the dirty hell was going on and have the problem solved as fast as possible. Since he really fucking hated arguing with you or if you were mad at him.
You were everything he had, and that was the ugly truth. He had no one else, his family didn't support him in anything that he did. He had just a few friends that he could say he trusted well enough to talk about some particular things of his private life with. Though, no one could compete with you.
And he thought you knew that. But he could feel how this night wasn't going to end well for him.
...
When Mingi arrived everything was silent. And he hated this kind of silence. It wasn't only scary, it reminded him of you not talking a word with him even though you may be in the same room. It was because you were never silent, you always talked to him. There was just a few moments he had to experience where you had given him the cold shoulder. The worst thing that he could ever imagine to happen. Because he loved you, truly and dearly. With every single cell of his body. Who else would there be to love anyways?
At first he had hope and thought it was just going to be one of your warnings you gave him when he didn't do something you told him to do several times, like cleaning up his mess or taking out the trash. Just simple things, he could apologise for and do what he was supposed to do.
Mingi got rid of his jacket and shoes in a swift motion, just wanting to see your face again. Even if he was just gone for a few hours, he had missed you so goddamn much, his heart already began swelling.
And then he searched for you in the living room. So finally Mingi saw your face, but he had imagined it to look very much different. His heart sunk as he saw how red your eyes were. The tall and totally whipped man already began begging for it to be just a nightmare. He barely saw you this way and if he did, he wasn't the reason and could sing you to sleep until you were happy again, but something had him feeling like that wasn't the case this time.
"Y/n please, tell me what’s wrong. I will make it up, I promise. It will be fine." His calming voice spoke to you while he looked for any other signs in your face.
In reality he was scared, he wasn't calm, he was screaming inside, hoping for it to be just nothing. Mingi wanted to spend the rest of the day cuddling with you and fulfilling all of your little wishes. He had it planned out, so he pleaded for it to be nothing big that he had to worry about any longer. It was already enough pain he was feeling as he saw how exhausted you looked, it teared him apart.
Your eyes searched for his, looking for sincerity. And you found it, you could clearly tell how scared he was. Then you decided to speak, using all your strength to not cry out for his help.
"Mingi. I know I'm important to you. And it's okay, alright? I just want you to break up with me now and tell me the truth." You tried to be gentle, because you didn't feel like yelling at his handsome face.
You didn't wanted to see how realisation hits him. But weirdly, you really didn't. You only saw confusion.
"Baby, what do you mean "break up"? Why would I ever do that? I never thought about it and I never will. I promise you, it'll be okay, just tell me what got you so upset. Please, baby I wanna see you happy." He approached you and stood now a few inches away, using the opportunity to lay his hand on your cheek and caress it.
Mingi gave you a reassuring smile until you put his hands away from you. This small gesture pained him so much, it let his eyes get teary instantly. Why were you doing this?
"Please don't call me baby anymore. I think we should take a break or something. You don't love me enough to not think about replacing me soon." You stated and the first tears started falling.
"Why would I replace you? You don't know how much you mean to me y/n, do you? I love so much." He tried grabbing you again but you refused to have skin contact now.
"Don't do this y/n, please. You're all I have." He begged, sniffing while whiping his tears away.
"But what can I do when you found someone better than me?! I love you more than I have loved anyone else before but I don't wanna look at you while knowing you don't feel the same, Mingi!" Your voice got louder, although it was the last thing you wanted.
Now your boyfriend had completely lost his mind. The ability to think before speaking wasn’t a choice anymore, leading to words he would regret for the rest if his life time.
"Fine! I don't wanna look at your face either, I can find plenty of prettier ones!!" It took him a second before recalling and realising what he just said to you.
Mingi didn't even knew he could be this mean. But he was desperate, he was confused by the things you accused him of so suddenly. It was to much to take. And too late for him to change his choice of words.
As a wave of regret hit him, he tried holding you and apologised continuously, but for no use. You had made up your mind by then, you had to leave him. Now, not later.
And after another few minutes of him trying to explain, he could watch you leave with a little bag in your hand.
Mingi would never forget your last words: "I wished I wouldn't love but hate you."

Prompt Challenge
@mimikoflamemaker , I haven't forgotten about the prompt challenge we did to help each other start writing again. Even though it's super late, here is my response to your challenge. I tried my hand at a modern AU for my Game of Thrones story, Defying Demons.
Prompt: This isn't goodbye
Pairing: Hazelyn Bolton/Robb Stark
Fandom: Game of Thrones
Modern AU
Hazelyn stared out the window of the airport corridor and watched a plane take flight, roaring as it gained speed and lifted upwards into the cloudy afternoon sky. It almost seemed surreal that in less than an hour, she'd be climbing on one of those, leaving the North, the place she'd called home her entire life, for who knows how long. She didn't want to, but she had to. If she didn't go, the regret would torment her the rest of her life.
"Hazel, are you okay?" Hazelyn turned to see a girl with striking blue eyes and bright red hair standing behind her.
She forced a smile and nodded; she couldn't show any fear or hesitation. "Of course! I was just looking to see if my plane was near the gate yet. "
"Oh," the other girl said, her shoulders wilting a bit. "I'm sure it'll be here soon enough." She tried to use a cheerful tone, but Hazelyn could hear the sadness underneath. Sansa Stark had an unwavering sense of selflessness and kindness in her; she always put other's happiness and comfort above her own, yet she never became jaded. Though many overlooked her, Sansa had a true gift, a light that refused to go out. Even with all that had happened to her family over the past few years, she still remained the same good hearted person she'd been when Hazelyn had met her.
Hazelyn smiled sadly. "I'm going to miss you," she confessed, drawing the younger girl into a tight hug.
Sansa squeezed her back. "I'll miss you too, all of us will."
Hazelyn frowned at the remark, staring over her friend's shoulder at the group of people that had come with them to see her off. Bran was entertaining Rickon by letting his little brother race his wheelchair between rows of chairs in the airport gate, while Jon was  involved in an intense discussion with Arya. Nearby, her best friend Myna sat, bouncing her and Jon's son, Willam, in her lap. Only one person was missing.
"Not all of you," Hazelyn sighed as she pulled away. She stared at the ground so she didn't have to look at Sansa's blue eyes and be reminded of that missing person.
She felt a light pressure on her shoulder. "He loves you, Hazel. He's just being stubborn. He's had so much on his plate since dad..." Hazelyn finally looked at the other girl, seeing the deep sadness and shared pain in her eyes that came from being part of a true family, something Hazelyn had never really known until she met the Starks. It was hard for any of the Stark children to talk about their father now a days. They all felt his pain like it were theirs, shared their mother's grief in equal measure.
Hazelyn could still remember the last time she'd visited Ned in the hospital. He'd withered into a pale shadow of the man used to be, bound to a sterile hospital bed with an array of tubes wires hooked up to him to help him fight a losing battle. It was like she was seeing her mother fading all over again...
Hazelyn pushed the distant memories of a lost little girl away. At least Ned still remained strong in spirit.  He always managed a comforting smile for each of his children when they came to visit, no matter how bad a day he'd had. He still held his wife Catelyn's hand when she looked too broken to go on.
It was for him that Hazelyn was going. To give him a fighting chance at life. She was doing this for his  children, Sansa, Arya, Bran, Rickon, Jon, and... Robb. Most of all Robb, even if he wasn't here, even if he would never speak to her again. Love didn't stop just because a relationship ended.
_____________________________________
Hazelyn sat at the kitchen table of their apartment, cradling a mug of coffee, though it was late evening. She stared at the dark liquid as steam rose from its surface, not even thirsty. She just needed something to warm her and keep her hands occupied as she gathered the courage to make one of the biggest decisions of her life. She worked at the Winterfell University's medical research lab, and her supervisor, Luwin, had just offered her an opportunity of a lifetime. It wasn't that she really wanted to take it, but it might help save lives, lives very dear and close to her. The only problem was what she would have to leave behind.
She glanced up as  the apartment 's locked door clicked and then swung open to reveal a haggard Robb. He trudged in, his suit jacket slung over his shoulder and tie loosened around his neck.  He tossed his jacket and work bag on the couch and made his way over to her. "Hey," he mumbled as he dropped a kiss on her cheek.
"How was your day?" Hazelyn asked him while he pulled out the chair next to her .
He plopped down heavily, resting his head in his hands. "Long," he sighed deeply. He glanced at her and managed only a hint of a smile. "I hope yours was better."
"I took off early so I could pick up Rickon like I promised your mom. We met up with Sansa for dinner and then went to his soccer game." She grinned. "Your sister managed to get a great video of him scoring the winning goal. You'll love it." Best she start out light and ease into the heavy news.
Instead of being happy though, Robb frowned and ran a hand through his messy red hair.
Hazelyn furrowed her brow. "What's wrong?"
"I'm missing everything." He pinched the bridge of his nose. "I promised Mom and Dad that I would be there for my siblings while he was in the hospital, that I'd take care of things." He looked at his girlfriend miserably as he let his hand drop to the table in defeat.
Hazelyn felt sick. How could she tell him she was going to be leaving in a few weeks? "Hey," she murmured, sliding her hand over his. "You're doing what you can. No one blames you for having to miss things sometimes. Being president of a large corporation isn't easy, especially when you've only been at that company for a few years. Much less trying to play a parent of four on top of that."
"My father balanced it all just fine," Robb retorted.
Hazelyn huffed at his stubbornness. "Yes, after he had decades to prefect that balance."  She weaved her fingers through his. "You remember all those stories your mom told of late nights your dad worked when you were a baby? How she'd pack you up in your car seat and go to his office to drag him home?" She winked. "You're taking all of this like a champ compared to him."
The corner of Robb's mouth turned upwards in amusement. "You've never done that for me."
Hazelyn rolled her eyes. "Well, I figured out in college that you waking up over a desk with  a horrible crick in your neck was a far better motivator for you to come home to an actual bed. And I have to get my own beauty sleep." She joked. "I could always send Bran after you. After we added flames to his wheelchair you don't stand much of a chance. "
Robb chuckled, and Hazelyn saw a tiny glimmer of the boy she had met and fallen for in college. They had only graduated a few years ago. They were both young, with friends still exploring the world and finding out who they were. That had been them until Robb's dad had gotten the troubling medical diagnosis of Wormbone, an excruciating disease that slowly ate away at bone tissue. It had dealt a shocking blow to the whole Stark family and everyone close to them.
Ned had lead a healthy and active life, and to see him deteriorate so quickly, then linger at the death's door, had shattered all of them. He'd had to step down from his position as head of the Stark Incorporated, a company his family had founded and headed for generations, and he still had four out of five children at home, one that had just been paralyzed in a bad car accident. Robb had really had no choice but to step into his dad's roles professionally and personally. He did it gladly, he loved his family more than anything, but it had never been the plan he'd had for himself.
The tiny spark of amusement in his eyes faded as quickly as it had appeared. His thumb rubbed hthe back of Hazelyn's hand as some a deep wariness played across his face. "I couldn't manage this without you." Hazelyn almost cringed when he looked at her earnestly. "Most girls probably would have bolted for the hills by now, but instead, when I come home, you and my brother are decorating his wheelchair and you're helping my sisters with homework, after I've spent hours arguing with stubborn old bastards that want to rip my dad's company to shreds."
There was a bitterness in the way he spat the end of the sentence, an anger in the slight shake of his hand. He'd lost himself trying to do the jobs of a man far older and wiser. Not even his family had seen how much of a toll it had taken on him. Hazelyn couldn't let him carry on like this, not when she might have the power to change everything, though she was afraid of the sacrifice she would have to make.
Hazelyn swallowed hard and stood up, gently pulling Robb with her. She bit her lip as he slid his arms around her waist and guided her to him. She rested her cheek on his chest while he placed his chin on the top her head. Swaying slightly, they stood for a moment in calm silence before Hazelyn murmured, "I couldn't run away after all your family has done for me. They took me in and gave me something I never had. You gave me something I've never had." She drew back to look up at him. "A girl doesn't walk away from someone like you, or a family like yours if she has half a brain or heart."
Robb gave her a full smile, something he'd not done for weeks. "I love you, do you know that?" Hazelyn's heart almost stopped. She closed her eyes and pushed up on her toes to meet him when he leaned down to kiss her.
After a few moments, she pulled away and rested her hand on his cheek. "I do...And you know that I wouldn't leave you or your family without a good reason?"
Robb titled his head in confusion. "What?"
Hazelyn looked down at his chest as she clutched at his dress shirt. "I got an offer at work."
She felt Robb stiffen. "What kind of offer?"
"There's a research team traveling to Essos. They're going to be working with a team from Leng in the rain forest to research potential cures for certain medical conditions...including your dad's." Hazelyn glanced up at Robb, hoping, but was met with a stoic expression.
"Please tell me they didn't ask you to go."
"My supervisor Dr. Luwin says they have already discovered a plant in might be able to treat Wormbone," Hazelyn said.
Robb pulled away from her abruptly, turned his back on her, and leaned against the table. "Do you know how far away that is?" His voice was low, shaking. "My dad doesn't have that long left. Do you know what it'll do to my family if you're not here when he dies? What he'll feel if he can't say goodbye to you? He thinks of you as one of his daughters now."
Hazelyn felt herself falter a moment as she thought of how kind Eddard had been to her from the first time Robb had brought her home to meet his family. How supportive he'd been when her brother had died and her own father had dismissed her. Could she really take the risk of leaving when he might die any day? She felt her eyes sting, but then she reminded herself, she could not deny that man the one slim chance at living he might have.
"Robb, they're close to a break through, that's why our lab was asked to join the project," she pleaded. "Luwin heard that your father had Wormbone, and told me that if I was associated with the project, Ned could be one of the first people to get access to experiential treatment if we get far enough...He might have a chance to li-"
"Don't!" Robb cut her off sharply. He whipped around, his eyes flashing and face turning red. "My father is dying, Hazelyn!!! He has months, MONTHS, left to live and those research studies take years! He won't ever make it to that point!"
Hazelyn didn't know what to say. She felt like Robb had slapped her across the face, when she was offering him hope for his father. He had no faith in her or his dad. "You don't know that!" She argued. "If your dad thought he had chance, he might be able to hold on! He's stronger than anyone I've ever met Robb! If he thought he might have a few more years with all of you, he would fight, and I think he could win!"
"You think he hasn't already been fighting!?" Robb's voice rose in volume. "He's been fighting this for over a year, Hazelyn, and he's still deteriorated! We're going to lose him, no matter how much we've all fought!Don't give him, my mom, and siblings false hope, just so you have an excuse run away and not have to face the loss too! "
Hazelyn staggered back in shock. "Run away!?" She hissed. "I just told you I would never leave without good reason Robb! I'm going to fight for your dad on the front lines! I can't just sit here when I could be helping find the cure that saves him!"
Robb glared at her. "While you're over in Essos "frighting", what happens to the rest of us in the meantime? My mom tells my dad it'll be fine while she watches him fade more, my siblings have to fend for themselves while thinking Dad will come home, Jon and I let the company fall apart while he's on his death bed because we can't handle things without him? What do I tell him when he's drawing his last breaths and I've failed him and everyone else? What do I say to my family when they realize that everything you said was a lie?" He had a wild look in his eyes as he worked into a frenzy.
"We'll figure things out as they come!" Hazelyn retorted. "You can't know any of that will happen anyway! "
"It will happen!" Robb yelled back. "We'll lose my dad, we'll lose you, and I won't be able to keep everything from falling apart!" His voice broke at the end. The fear and desperation that he usually hid so well from everyone boiled over. "If you walk away, you'll be too caught up in your cause to come home, there'll be no us figuring things out!"
Hazelyn just stared at him, her face softening. "You don't think I'll come back. You think I'll cut ties with you if you're father dies," she realized. She laid a hand on his arm. "Robb, I'm not leaving you. We'll make it through this. It's just going to take a bit more sacrifice and work, but we'll still have each other, and hopefully your dad still by the end of it."
Robb recoiled from her touch as if she had burned him. His face hardened. "No!" He growled. "This has nothing to do with our relationship and everything to do with my family! I won't let you take the easy way out and leave them with false hope! If you want to help us, then stay!"
"Let me?!" Hazelyn's hackles rose as she remembered the harsh orders and ultimatums her father had given her mother and later her, in attempt to control every aspect of their lives. "You don't get to let me do anything Robb Stark! I'm going to do what I can help a family I love, and you can apologise when I get back!"
"If you don't care enough about my family to stay when we need you, then you don't deserve to be a part of it!"
Hazelyn felt a sharp pain in her chest as she stared at him. This was the man she had been sure she'd spend the rest of her life with, but...
"I can't stay Robb, not when I could save you the pain of losing a parent. But I'm not breaking things off with you."
"You are. We need you here, not hiding in some jungle. I you don't stay, we're through."
____________________________________
With an ultimatum like that, what choice did Hazelyn? Robb left their apartment that night, probably to stay with Theon. The next week few weeks has been hard for her, but she'd had Myna to help with trip preparations, and the other Starks too. Hazelyn could never cut ties with the younger Starks, no matter happened between her and Robb. When she'd gone to the hospital to deliver the news of her impending departure to his parents, Catelyn had felt conflicted, but Ned had given her his blessing to go. That gave her some assurance, but it still hurt.
Jon had tried to talk Robb, but he'd not budged. Years she and Robb had been together, and then it had just ended, without so much as a goodbye.
When boarding for her flight started, Hazelyn gathered up her bags and said her last goodbyes. She hugged Bran and Rickon tightly in each arm, making them promise not to race the wheelchair too fast while she was gone. An embrace for Arya as she told her she wanted pictures from all of her martial arts competitions, and then Sansa.
The two girls held each other tightly, sisters in all but name. "Keep me updated on college life," Hazelyn murmured. "If you need homework help or to have some boy talk, I'm only a call away."
Sansa nodded. "You call me too, let me know on how close you are to saving Dad. And... " She pulled back and looked at Hazelyn with sorrow. "I'll continue to wear down Robb. Hopefully he'll come around in a few weeks. "
Hazelyn felt a lump form in her throat. She swallowed it down and shook her head. "I appreciate it Sansa, but don't. He has enough on his plate, and it was his decision to make. If he gathers up the courage to call me, I want it be on his terms, not anyone else's."
Sansa shrugged. "I can't promise anything, but I won't give him too hard a time for your sake." Hazelyn gave her one last hug as they laughed and then pulled away. She turned towards Myna and Jon who stood together, little Willam in between them. That's what she and Robb should have been like, if everything were right in the world. But it wasn't. She simply had to carry on and do what she knew was right.
She wiped away the wetness gathering in her eyes as she gave Jon a brief hug. "Robb won't act like this forever," he promised her, and she could only nod in response.
She turned her best friend Myna, the blonde spitfire that had been by her side all her life. They hugged tightly, both hardly believing they were truly being separated. Myna probably would have gone with her, if it weren't for the small child in her arms. "I promise to beat up Stark if he doesn't call and apologize," she murmured.
Hazelyn furrowed her brow. "Myna." She chided.
Her friend stepped back and rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll hold off, but just say the word, and I'll happily do it." She looked at her little black haired son and bounced him on her hip. "Isn't that right sweetling?" Both girls gave teary laughs when Willam nodded in agreement. Hazelyn gave the baby a kiss on the cheek, then stepped away .
She looked the Stark family sadly as she gathered her bags together and prepared to board her flight. This was it. Even when she came back, her life would never be the same. She forced one last smile as she waved at them and then turned to walk to the boarding line.
"Hazel! Wait!" A desperate voice called. Hazelyn froze momentarily. It couldn't be-
She felt strong hands grip her shoulders and turn her around. She fingers slacked and she dropped her bags as she looked up into stricken bright blue eyes. Robb stared down at her, panting hard, like he was out of breath from running.
"Robb? What do you want?" She wanted to sound indifferent, but it came out as weak and hurt.
"I'm sorry," Robb blurted. His expression turned panicked when Hazelyn stepped away from him. She wanted to embrace him, to say he was forgiven, but ...
"That's not good enough." She shook her head. "I was simply trying help your family, I'm still trying to, and you were willing to throw away everything we had over-"
"I was a selfish arse, " Robb cut across her, stepping forward and gently grasping her hand. "Hazel, the things I said, I didn't mean them. It was a selfish fear of losing you talking."
Hazelyn opened her mouth to rebuff him, but he continued on, bringing her hand to his chest. "I know that's still no excuse. I don't deserve your forgiveness, not now, but I can't let this be goodbye." He kissed the back of her hand and pleaded with her. "Please just let me have a chance to make it up to you when you come back. Please don't let this be it. I'm just asking for the chance to start over, properly. I-"
Hazelyn didn't let him finish. She flung her arms around his neck and jumped up to kiss him hard. He caught her easily, pulling her tightly against him. She closed her eyes, moving her lips against his, and pretended just for a moment that everything was normal again. Just for a moment, she forgot what had transpired between them. She pulled back enough to look into his eyes, hopeful but unsure.
"You're right," she breathed against his neck. "You don't deserve it." He tensed against her. "But," she sighed, "Love isn't about what we deserve. It's about overcoming obstacles together, working through the hard times, sharing the good, and not giving up on each other." She placed a hand on his cheek, tracing over his jaw with her thumb. "I don't want to start over. We are going to have a lot to work through when I come back, but I'd rather keep what we have." The couple shared small smiles.
Suddenly, the last call for Hazelyn's flight sounded over the intercom. Sighing, she stepped back. "We'll get through this, and I will find a way to help your dad," she vowed. "This isn't goodbye, I promise."
Robb stared at her in a strange way then. "Hazel, I-" he hesitated, one of his hands tucked in his pocket.
"What is it?" She asked.
Running a hand through his hair, Robb pulled a tiny box out of his pocket. Hazelyn's eyes widened as he flipped up the top to reveal a small, elegant silver ring. She shook her head. She couldn't say yes. Not until they had had time to properly work things out. "I have to go, and I can't -
"I'm not proposing now," Robb said to her immense relief. He snapped the box shut and placed it in his pocket. "Just know when you get back, it will be waiting for you." Hazelyn smiled, she almost kissed him again, but then an annoyed flight attendant called to her. "Mam? Are you getting on the flight?"
"Yes, I'm sorry." Hazelyn rushed to the gate and showed them her ticket. She then turned back one last time to smile back at Robb as he raised a hand in farewell. Reassured, Hazelyn made her way onto the plane and settled into her seat. She glanced out her window and watched as a light summer snow began to fall. No, this wasn't goodbye at all.

Lmao I wrote proud mbb noises cause I didn't how how to describe it,, kind of like proud mom but he's older than me so it felt weird. I became a mbb not long before his ~transformation~ if you'd call it that and it's really nice to see all of them go through that personal growth over the years. And on a similar note, it's surreal to think about how I became a mbb in HS,, and I'm at the v end of it which is insane to think about. (sometimes I wish I knew about them earlier,, I listened to dramarama and knew I had to stan,, but it didn't happen until later)
And I agree w you about the hair!! It seems like it fits inbetween 2019 tour and early fatal love eras,, maybe it'll grow back? - 🌱(gave myself a name lol)
PROUD MOM LOLLLLL but same here angel changkyun is just about 2 years older than me but he's actually 3 years older than me for a little bit longer bc his bday is in january and mine is in december ... so even tho he's a '96 baby and i'm a '98 baby he's more like 3 years older lololol i get what u mean !!!
but yes it really is so nice seeing them grow even if we haven't been with them since the beginning <3 it's like watching ur friends achieve their dreams and seeing them do well <3 so proud !!!!!!! also :o !!! do u mean almost done with high school or just school forever in general? congratulations !!!! <3
and hhhh yeah the hair !!!! looks like a mix between the 2 eras and honestly i think it's going to look SO CUTE ;_____; he told us if we want to see him we have to say 'i love u' so i said it like 8973328947234 times under my breath at work LOL HOPEFULLY WE'LL GET THE FULL SELCA SOON <3

week of march 12th, 2023
there's so much going on these days i almost didn't queue transit posts for everything. here i will just cover the vibe, but please also read transits for this week since i ended up doing them after all 😂
aries: a distinct feeling of getting hyped up to start it, but then some unknown and probably invisible, or perhaps simply incompetent, force holding you back in the end.
taurus: if you find yourself frustrated in power struggles, consider how humans do sometimes frustrate themselves on purpose. for fun. then proceed with an open mind, maybe you're enjoying the stimulation just a little bit even if it's mostly annoying?
gemini: this week is a little bit like you think you get a chance for a gulp of fresh air but as soon as you take a deep breath a big gust of wind hits you in the face and it's a little overwhelming. it'll take you off guard but you can shake it off and move on.
cancerians: pluto at the most critical part of your opposite sign seems to do his best to make sure it feels otherwise, but this is a broadly supportive time. and the lord of the world is no idle trickster; these changes are to be respected.
leo: while it's probably nice to have saturn leaving your relationships alone at last, the increase in water vibe is perhaps not your jam. be discerning in your connections with other people but don't forego them entirely.
virgo: a big week for partnerships, especially marriages and similar commitments. shifts occur. good or bad? depends on your maturity level and integrity, but saturn is a key player in all these matters for a couple years now, so it's him you'll need to appease.
libra: you have a certain affinity with saturn that most don't acknowledge. but his presence now in your 6th house affects all the other transits this week involving your daily routines and rituals. aim for a little less glitter and a little more chic timelessness in all you do.
scorpio: your ruling planet seemingly parked at the last degree of capricorn is not easy for anyone, least of all you and capricorn folks. if you can find a capricorn buddy to bond with at this time, you'll find someone who truly understands you in the deep ways you tend to prefer.
sagittarius: a fog that has hovered over your relationships for months lifts this week. you can thus think more clearly when it comes to other people but also, it reveals all the chaos you may have previously been blind to.
capricorn: pluto at the end of your sign makes you keenly aware of endings and death. it is okay to grieve what has been lost. you may not have even been acknowledging the loss, let alone grieving it. it is also ok to welcome departures.
aquarius: the chthonic grumblings grow ever louder. care well for your guts at this time, your literal bowels, as a sympathetic way to honor the bowels of the earth where pluto resides. you want him to be your ally after all, don't you?
pisces: in such surreal times as this it is you, for once, who becomes the solid rock of sanity for others. these strange waters are your home, so people think you will save them from drowning. you do have that power, but take care of yourself first.

210511 — 3:47
my brain's a little.. empty, so excuse me if i sound all over the place. not that my other letters have been good. anyway, though i kind of made fun of oppa about feeling like things are surreal, i suppose at times i feel that way too. especially that night. it kind of feels like it didn't happen, right? i guess neither of us expected that we'd end up like this. though i've liked you for a long time now, when i confessed then, i really thought that i'd continue that way, you know — occasionally i'd think of you and miss you, all that. but i should've known that the feelings would only grow stronger, and they did. now, i'm not sure if there's even an hour that passed without you on my mind. it just makes me miss you more.
just as you can't believe that i like you, i can't believe that you're all right with me liking you. i think it'll take me awhile to get used to the fact that you don't mind receiving this amount of love. earlier, when you said that 'it's just you' and that i can tell you anything, funnily enough, i kind of wanted to cry (we've heard this one before), because it dawned on me that you're my soulmate, and you're right, i've always been comfortable with telling you everything because i know you won't think of me any different. i guess since it's about you, i'm kind of afraid that i'd cross any boundaries or say something wrong that'd make you dislike me. sometimes, i somehow managed to convince myself that you're actually annoyed. but of course, that didn't stop me from talking to you, and the little jokes we exchange still make me smile. hopefully i'll be successful at kicking out these cells that're sabotaging my head soon.
since this is a space where i can talk about anything i want (and i think you're asleep right now), i think it's okay to be honest about this? when i was asking you about the way you like me, well, maybe you caught on, but i was half hoping to hear that you do like me romantically, even a tiny bit. the other half, i've already told myself that it's in a platonic way. despite knowing that nothing will happen between the two of us, i guess i was wishing that there's at least 2% of you that reciprocates. does that makes sense? but i get that you can't force to have feelings for someone. and why i didn't say that i understood you liking me as a 'soulmate', even though that was how i'd liked you before too.. i was kind of confused in that moment, truthfully. we've always talked about how we're each other's best friend, sibling, parental figure, and lover all in one. but most of those seem to be deep friendship and family feelings, apart from the lover part, which got me thinking that maybe i'd always attached real romantic feelings to that? i remember that in the past, i was especially happy whenever i got to say that part, and maybe even entertained the fleeting thoughts of being with you as lovers. but i do understand what kind of feeling it is, to love one another as soulmates.
now, about your heart attack line. i know that you feel bad about it, and maybe think that it's the reason why we've come to this..? i can't really recall much of the past, but i think i wasn't fully sure about what you were hinting at, and didn't pursue anything further anyway, so it definitely didn't lead to me falling for you, or at least, not the biggest reason at all. sure, there was also that one time when you mentioned that you thought you liked me, and that sparked a moment of 'what if' in my mind, but i think that at the time i'd already liked you? because i thought that we'd liked each other, and just missed the timing. so.. the point is that, i really do like you for you. i fell for you because of your personality, and the way you make me feel whenever i'm around you, which have always been a big factor as to why you're so special to me. over the years, no matter whether i thought i liked you like that or not, i'd always adored you and cherished you a lot. don't feel too bad about what you said in the past, okay? you'd always been, and will forever be my favorite (and my only) soulmate.
i love you.

Alright; lets do this.
My brain wishes to not sleep, and it is 2:54am at night, for Saturday the 14th.
Yesterday was surreal, but in a good way.
I kinda accidentally starved myself for three days straight or so, and decided the best coping mechanism was "Just do your *bad bitch glam routine, and raise your self esteem up, to avoid self loathing so much to the point of eating disorders."
Failed, successfully! I ended up getting cute, but also miserably starving even more. I just said "fuck it, putting my pride aside", and contacted youknowwho to stop being so angsty and miserable.
If I was gonna be angsty and miserable, then.... better to be that way with good company, who also lead to the feeling, rather than alone and continuing to talk shit online as a form of a coping mechanism.
Anyway.
I'll just say that it went well; and I'm glad they agreed to see me. It helped out a lot, and I appreciated it highly.
I don't wanna say more. I'm 99% sure someone is gonna read this, with your nosey ass, and you better get a hobby instead of staring at my page. Don't you have a book to read instead, or something to organize, dont read my (open to the public) diary..... So rude.
I'll just say I had a nice time.
And life feels better when there's less fucks to give some times.
.......
I should really go to sleep. I didn't expect to be out till 1:30am, nonetheless being awake till 3am right now.
But I guess I just got into my mood of overthinking, and had to write this out in order to nip it in the bud.
Less "what ifs", more "let life happen as is".
I don't expect things to turn out perfectly.
I expect nothing.
It's easier that way.
Expecting nothing means that everything is a pleasant shock.
Hell, that's how I stumbled into an open relationship last summer.
I just simultaneously had zero expectations with two attractive men, they both had the "you can still see other people" talk, I simply said "aight", and look at how well that went.
(Pretty damn well, till expectations were had and things had turned more serious lmfao....)
Anyway.
I think its safer to give this person some space.
I wouldnt want to make it too soon, or steer things too heavily in a direction they arent sure of.
I just.... am gonna let things happen, and lessen the anxiety some.
...
I get to see XPatrick, (blonde tall guy,) this Sunday, I think.
It'll be nice to check in with him.
No massive expectations, either.
I just will assume things will go fine.
Seems simple, a date to the movies, checking out some B-Grade horror flick.
I stopped being all antsy over returned texts or not.
Its a good sign if a man can respond to a text three hours late, and I simply don't care; it means i am getting over the fears.....
I'll expect nothing more but just to see them.
Thats all. Peace out.
