Plot Summary: Going home for the holidays, the boys decided to come with Nora to her hometown. Sebastian just didn't expect to find an interesting muggle there

"You're taking a leave?"

Sebastian places his hand on his hips as he watches his partner pack up her things for the day. His bestfriend of 7 years, deemed Hero of Hogwarts, and set for an upcoming promotion as Head Auror of the British Ministry of Magic, Nora Finley, looks back at him with a grin.

"Yep. Why are you acting surprised? I told you about this like weeks ago." She chuckles as she closes up her suitcase, propping it up on her desk before turning to him. Sebastian looks at her with a confused look as he pokes the inside of his cheek with his tongue.

After the eventful days of their years as students in Hogwarts, the two had ended up working as aurors for the ministry. Nora was immediately given a position due to her great efforts in preventing another wizarding war and Sebastian was accepted with his great battle knowledge in the dark arts. Ominis however had opted to remain in the halls of the great castle but now as a professor teaching potions (quite comical actually given that Ominis spent most of his time in potions class fumbling over ingredients and messing up potions as easy as a wiggenweld).

The trio had been doing their best in remaining contact with each other (well more of like trying to stay in contact with Ominis), telling tales about their recent accomplishments, funny stories to share and any other details regarding their lives. Their most recent one being Sebastian and Nora's great accomplishment in capturing yet another dark wizard who had tried to harm numerous muggles. Luckily enough, the situation hadn't exploded enough to obliviate a whole town. Sebastian had been expecting to have a small trio reunion to celebrate the accomplishment but now he's been feeling betrayed that Nora had gone ahead and requested a leave for a week.

"Did you really?" He raised his eyebrow, accusingly. Nora shakes her head in amusement.

"I did, Seb. You were probably too busy flaunting your physique to Yaxley at the ball." She teases as she grabs her case before walking to grab her coat. "I think it's quite adorable when you do that. It's like seeing two tiny tiny crups fighting."

Sebastian blushes before rolling his eyes. He watches Nora grab her coat before putting it on. "What about our celebration? I thought we we're going out for a drink!"

Nora shrugs as she puts it on and fixes her clothes. "Too bad. My mother has been requesting my presence, and this leave is the perfect time for me to visit. You can drink with Ominis, though!"

The brunette strengthened his resolve as he followed the witch out of their office and into the halls of the ministry. "I think this is totally unfair. Ominis was begging in the letters for us to get together! I think he's going bonkers with the amount of time he spends with children."

Nora laughs as she nods at a co-worker who passes by them. "That wasn't what he said, Seb. Ominis will be outraged when he finds out you overexaggerate his letters."

"I overexaggerate his letters because he can't say shit to you. He thinks you'll think of him as weak or something." Sebastian argues as they reach the elevator. Nora pulls out her wand, flicking her wrist as the tip of the wand lights up. She then pulls it away as the doors of the elevator open in front of her.

"I don't think of him as weak. I'd die if I was told to handle first years." She sighs before stepping inside the elevator. The house elf managing the elevator gives her a nod, to which she responds with a nod as well.

"Hello, Hank. Ground floor, please." She replies with a smile. Hank only grunts as he flicks his wand to lead the moving platform. She then turns to Sebastian, who looks at her with a frustrated look. "Please don't make too much trouble while I'm gone, okay?"

The wizard doesn't reply for a moment as he watches the doors close. At the last moment, he squeezes his way through, and Nora lets out a yelp of surprise. "Sebastian what—"

"Let us come with you." He grabs her shoulders. Nora raises her eyebrows in surprise. He takes a breath before glancing at the house elf, who gives him a disappointed tsk. He looks back at Nora, who looks at him expecting. "I mean, me and Ominis talked about learning more about you. You've gone to my house and Ominis basically told you about his family so why not let us come with you?"

Nora stares at him for a while before smiling. "Alright cowboy. Don't regret saying yes to this if things go south alright?"

Well, Sebastian could definitely handle it. He thinks. He knows Nora's mother is a muggle and she spent her young days in a muggle environment. It'll be a culture shock for sure but Anne and him had been somewhat exposed to muggle culture. He had books of muggle authors, tasted some of their sweets and even communicated with them for an investigation.

Surely, this will be a piece of cake.

"You said what?!"

Ominis yelled to which Sebastian tried to cover his mouth with his hands. The blonde slaps his hands away rather harshly. Sebastian lets out a yelp of pain before biting his lip to avoid attracting more attention. He had apparated to Hogwarts to visit his old friend and inform him of his talk with Nora. The two stood outside the castle where the garden is. He sees some students send a concerned glance at them as they hesitantly greet Ominis who only waves them off with a hand.

"I need you to lower your voice, Ominis." Sebastian murmurs lowly as he slips his hands in the pockets of his coat. Ominis shakes his head as he crosses his arms.

"Why should I do that? I'm a figure of authority here now, Sebastian. We're not students anymore." Ominis retorts.

"I'm not talking about that! I just don't want your students to see me as some guy harassing their professor. As if I don't get any bad reputation at the ministry." He scoffs as he kicks a pebble on the stone steps.

"Maybe they should. You're literally telling me that I have to go on a one week trip when I have priorities to attend to." Ominis glares at the direction of his voice. Sebastian smiles sheepishly. He had said it out of panic. He didn't want to be alone for the week, and he certainly didn't want to come with Nora alone in a muggle environment even though he told himself it would be a piece of cake.

It sucks being a hypocrite.

"C'mon! It's just for a week. Merlin knows you need a break, Professor Gaunt." He nudges Ominis with his elbow playful. The Potions professor scoffs as he moves away from him.

"Your tomfoolery might've worked on me before, but I've matured. My point still stands." Ominis turns his head away as an act of defiance. Sebastian just smiles softly as his friend. He looks more like a kid who doesn't want to take his vegetables.

"I think Mr. Sallow might be correct on this one." A familiar voice had intercepted their conversation. Ominis lets out a sigh as he drops his arms. Sebastian lights up at her entrance.

"Professor Onai." He bows slightly as a sign of respect. The divination professor only raises her hand to stop him.

"Oh no, no. Please, call me Mudiwa. You're not a student anymore, Mr. Sallow." Professor Onai smiles softly. Sebastian nods at her words.

"Then please, Sebastian is fine."

"I overheard the students mentioning a strange man harassing our beloved professor, so I just had to make sure if I needed to do any saving." Mudiwa jokes as she stands between the two. Ominis rolls his eyes.

"No damsel in distress here." Ominis sarcastically replies.

"That I see. It's an overworked one, I do know." Mudiwa glances at Sebastian, who nods in agreement. Ominis shakes his head, sensing the budding cooperation between the teacher and former student.

"I will not let you make Professor Onai your accomplice, Sebastian. I will not be swayed." Ominis's eyebrows furrow in annoyance. Sebastian only grins at this.

"Who said about anyone being an accomplice? I originally came here to tell you that Professor Weasley is granting you a week's leave." Professor Onai pats his shoulder. "She'll be taking over for your classes given that a new teacher for transfiguration has been assigned."

Ominis's face drops at the new information. Sebastian then giggles into his hand. He turns his head fast towards the direction of his voice. "Did you do this?! Did you really have to contact Professor Weasley knowing I wouldn't agree?!"

Sebastian walks down the steps before shrugging his shoulders. "Eh, perks of being her favorite, I guess."

"You little shit."

"That I am!"

Professor Onai only laughs loudly at the interaction.

The three had apparated to Nora's town much to Ominis's chagrin. After getting smacked in the head multiple times by the young Gaunt, the two had decided that this would be the best time to learn more about their dearest friend, Nora, as well as the muggle community.

Sebastian knows that her closest family knew about her identity as a witch, so it makes Sebastian a little relieved that he wouldn't have to hide his magic, at least inside the comfort of Nora's home.

"We're almost there." Nora says as she leads the three of them through a village. Sebastian glances around, arm intertwined with Ominis, given that he had to hide his wand for now due to muggles. He had his walking stick, but to be honest, using Sebastian as a walker seems much more fun with all the shit he put up with.

Nora then stops at a house with a blue gate before turning to the two and waving them over. She opens it with ease and rushes over to knock on the door. Sebastian pulls Ominis to a stop before dropping his luggage on the ground.

The door opens to reveal an old looking woman who at first squints her eyes before screaming enthusiastically. She pulls Nora into a hug as they jump in each other's arm in joy.

"How wonderful! This is such a pleasant surprise!" The woman or assumed as Mrs. Finley smiles lovingly at her daughter, who holds her hands tightly within hers.

"You know I had to come home, mama." Nora laughs softly before pressing a kiss on her cheek. She then moves to the side to present her companions. "I have guests with me."

"Oh! Come in! We can exchange pleasantries inside. You must be tired from your journey." Mrs. Finley motions for them to come in. Sebastians smiles at the warm greeting as he takes his case and moves inside. Ominis had taken out his wand, knowing that he's safe to use it and walks inside as well.

The auror takes a look around, scanning the interior of his best friend's home. Mrs. Finley excitedly frets over them as she helps them out of their coats and gently moves them to sit on the couch.

"Do tell me about your friends, darling!" She warmly smiles as she sits down on the couch in front of them. Nora laughs at her mother's enthusiasm, and so she introduces the two. Mrs. Finley was a wonderful host. She told stories of Nora when she was young, which the two graciously enjoyed. She talked and asked about the wizarding world and revealed that when she had met Nora's father, who had tragically passed due to his work as an auror that frequents in the front lines, magic was one of the reasons that they had met so she kind of expected that her daughter would one day be exposed to the world of her father. She admits that she's also glad Nora made more friends. The only one she met was her girlfriend, Poppy Sweeting, who had come over once to be introduced. "What an absolute sweetheart," she says.

As Sebastian continues to listen in on the conversation, his eyes glance towards the artwork hanging on the wall, above the couch where Mrs. Finley sat. His curiousity gets the better of him. "The art looks marvelous. Was this curated from a famous muggle artist?"

Mrs. Finley looks back and up at the canvas. Nora answers for her. "Oh, that? That's made by Y/N. A friend of mine."

"Is she a famous muggle artist? What does the artwork look like?" Ominis joins in on the conversation. Sebastians leans close to him to describe the piece. The young Gaunt nods in understanding.

"She is, I believe? She gets her art curated on exhibits." Mrs. Finley smiles proudly. "She's going to be here tomorrow. We have a debut to go to. I hope you brought fancy clothes?"

Ominis purses his lips. "I didn't, but I suppose it's nothing a bit of magic can't fix. A certain someone had me rushing my way over here."

Sebastian coughs into his hand before smiling at Mrs. Finley. "Don't worry, we'll manage."

The party was loud. Too much even.

This debut that they had gone to was of a daughter of a neighbor close to Nora's family, and apparently, most neighbors in the village were pretty close with one another. Sebastian almost felt out of place if it weren't for Ominis clinging to his arm.

"Stupid walking stick. If only I could just use my wand. Why do I have to suffer this way." Ominis grunts as he taps the floor with the object of his frustrations. Sebastian wraps his arm around his shoulders.

"You have me here. Consider this a once in a lifetime opportunity of making me your personal walker." Sebastian jokes. Ominis smiles at his offer.

"I might just make that permanent from all the headache you gave me."

"Please don't."

"You guys! Stop sulking in the corner and come over here." Nora calls them over as she chats with an unfamiliar face. A pretty unfamiliar face, Sebastian thinks as he moves closer with Ominis in tow. "This is Y/N. I was talking about your art to them last night. They were pretty impressed by it."

Y/N. Y/N. Pretty name.

"I'm Sebastian Sallow. This is Ominis Gaunt." The brunette smiles boyishly as he extends his hand for a handshake. The young woman raises her eyebrows in amusement before shaking her hand as well.

"Didn't know your friends at your new school was this handsome." She teases to which Nora rolls her eyes. Sebastian holds eye contact with her for a few seconds before he looks down at his feet due to nervousness.

"Whatever. Ominis! Come with me. I'm going to give gifts to the debutante." Nora grabs Ominis, who lets himself be dragged across the room.

"Still quite the troublemaker, isn't she?" the artist beside him breaks the silence. He almost ignores her, not believing that the question was directed towards him. He's going dumb.

"Yeah. A pain on the ass sometimes but workable." Sebastian scrunches his nose in contemplation. Y/N laughs.

"What do you do for work, Sebastian?" She asks as she moves closer to him, hand twirling the champagne she's holding.

"... Law .... enforcement?" Sebastian raises his eyebrow as he tries to find a perfect substitution to explain what an auror is. Y/N nods in amusement.

"So a police officer?"

"More like detective, I guess."

"Sexy." Y/N winks as she takes a sip of her drink. "I take that Nora is also in law enforcement? The gal barely tells me anything ever since she transferred. I'd get the truth out someday."

"Good luck with that. Nora is one secretive bastard." Sebastian chuckles as he shoves his hands in his pockets. The woman stares at him for a good moment to which he responds with a raised eyebrow.

"That forward?" He teases. She only rolls her eyes at him.

"I'm just doing things you're scared to do, Mr. Sallow." She purrs before setting her champagne down and moving to the dance floor. "Dance with me!"

Sebastian had never seen someone look and dance so messily but beautiful. Balls like this in the wizarding world were often done in elegance and proper etiquette, but seeing someone let loose and move haphazardly across the dance floor was somewhat comforting and fun to watch to.

"Sebastian!" She giggles. The auror smiles before shuffling towards her. They continue to dance together, riding the rhythm and basking in each other's presence.

"And... done!"

The artist turns her canvas around to show Sebastian a new art piece she came up with. The two had progressed to a finer level of friendship. He had gained the privilege of seeing her pre-curated work before it would be released to the public. He considers it his greatest achievement for now. He admires the piece before the woman sets it down to dry.

"I'm really actually amazed by how good you are. I suppose I'd want to have one as well." Sebastia ponders off as he crosses his legs on the couch, elbow on his knee, and chin on his palm. "Might look good in my office."

"You'd probably think too much of me if you set it in your office."

Did Sebastian mention they're flirting more now?

He doesn't know what happened, but all he knows is one second he's dancing and the next he's thinking about her day and night.

He has deduced that this woman is amazing.

He fails to notice Y/N pulls out another canvas before she starts painting. He tries to move, but a hand is held up to stop him. "Stop. Don't move."

"... Right." He mumbles as he settles in a comfortable position. He watches her eyes glance up to him as her brush moves elegantly on the canvas.

During his days in Nora's muggle home, he hadn't expected befriending her childhood friend, Y/N Y/L/N, who is gifted in the field of arts. The muggle had been with them ever since the party, and Sebastian thoroughly enjoyed her presence. It seemed that Nora and Ominis caught on as they tried to give you two as much alone time as possible (Ominis would smirk at him and pat his back like a job well a done. Sebastian wishes he could jinx that smirk out of his face).

He learned more about their community as well. It was nice experiencing stuff without magic that can easily be done by it. Mrs. Finley is a sweetheart and have done nothing but be generous towards them. Sebastian supposes this could be the best week of his life.

"Penny, for your thoughts?" A soft voice breaks him out of his reverie. He glances up at Y/N, who had now paused her painting to look at him with a concerned smile.

"Ah, just thinking how much this week has been amazing." He gives her a lopsided smile as he fiddles with his fingers. "This was just decided on a whim. I'm glad I went here."

Y/N nods in understanding before standing up from her position. "Well, if it's worth anything, I'm glad you did. Wouldn't have met such a wondrous subject for a portrait."

Both of them laugh at her teasing. Y/N walks towards him, to which he holds his hand out. The artist grabs his hand and stands in front of him, looking down at him with a soft look.

"Beautiful." Sebastian mutters as he scans her features. "Have I ever told you that?"

She giggles into her hand. "Well, romances don't exactly work that fast within 4 days."

Sebastian shakes his head playfully. "Cheeky."

The muggle leans down to lessen the distance between them. Sebastian falls silent as he now has a front view to the beautiful woman in front of him. His hands sweat with nervousness.

"But I'd like to try it out." She whispers as she sends him a playful grin before tapping his nose with her index finger. Sebastian lets out an amused breath as he watches the artist flutter around in her studio.

She's gonna be the death of him.

Their joyous one week leave was coming to an end, and Sebastian couldn't help but feel sad about it. He had come to really enjoy his time here, and judging by Ominis's pleased face as he drinks his muggle beer, he too had enjoyed this vacation. Mrs. Finley had suggested having drinks on their final day before they had to depart tomorrow afternoon. A bad decision, really, but who denies that opportunity?

Nursing a beer on his hand, he takes a swig before glancing at Nora who had been reading a letter with a giddy smile. "From Poppy, I assume?"

Nora glances at him with a raised eyebrow. "Mind your business."

"That's not gonna stop me." He leans close to her, trying to get a glimpse of her letter. Nora leans back, shielding it from his curious eyes. "C'mon, what'd it say?"

"She's in America right now." Nora lets out an exasperated sigh. "She got her hands full with a Thunderbird."

Ominis perks up at the mention of the animal. "Ooh, I've always wanted to meet one."

"Being a magizoologist seems quite fun." Sebastian leans back against his chair. "It's the traveling I'm quite jealous of."

"You'd suck as magizoologist. Give it up." Ominis retorts. Sebastian gives him a punch on the shoulder, to which he laughs. The young Gaunt takes a sip of his beer. "This beer is amazing, by the way."

"Right? I'd never get tired of it." Nora smiles as she takes a drink of her own. She then leans forward to give the auror a teasing look. "But now, I'd rather talk about you and Y/N."

At the mention of her muggle friend, Ominis leans forward as well, interested in the conversation. Sebastian grunts in annoyance. "Why should I tell you both shit?"

"Rude. We're your best friends." Nora pouts as she leans her head on Ominis's shoulder.

"She's wonderful, if that's what you're asking." He sighs, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. "Quite talented as well."

"Mhm." Nora hums before moving close to loudly whisper in Ominis's ear. "He's got a crush."

"I do not!" Sebastian argues as he smacks Nora's knee. The young witch lets out a loud laugh.

"Wizards who lie end up in Azkaban, Seb."

"I'd get put in Azkaban for killing your smartass, for sure."

"But I know she's your type. I could basically sense the attraction out of you." Ominis teases. Sebastian shakes his head at his best friends, who continue to tease and poke fun of him.

"Sebastian!" A voice calls him over. It's Y/N.

"Your future wife's calling. Better go to her." Nora smacks his back in encouragement. He gives her his beer before flipping her off as he stands up. He then turns to Ominis and verbally communicates his message.

"Fuck you."

"Yeah, yeah."

He runs towards the person of his interests, smiling as she grabs his hand and pulls him to a secluded part of Nora's home. He sees one of her hands tucked behind her.

"What's up?" He smiles. Y/N shyly moves in her spot before biting her lip.

"Remember that portrait I did? Well, I finished it and it's your last day so consider it a gift." She mumbles before moving her hand from her back to reveal a neatly painted piece. He marvels at the work of art, amazed by how similar the portrait is to his face.

"This... This is wonderful, Y/N." He lets out a chuckle of excitement, smile reaching ear to ear. The artist only revels in his enthusiasm. "Thank you."

"No, thank you for being a dear these past few days. I hadn't met someone and hit it off with them that fast." She chuckles. Sebastian looks at her with an unreadable look. "Consider this a memento for our friendship."

"You make it sound like we'd never meet again." He mumbles as he moves close towards her. She raises her chin in amusement.

"Well, will we?" She raises her hands to dust off any lint on his clothes, which was just an excuse to place her hands on his chest.

"I'll make sure of it." Sebastian smiles. "You said you'd try, remember?"

At the repeat of her words, she lets out a giggle. She then leans close to him. "Is it bad to kiss you this early?"

Sebastian's eyes focus on her lips as he pulls her close with his free hand. "Eh, probably."

She grins as she leans closer. "You probably don't care."

"Just shut up and kiss me." He sighs. The young woman laughs before pulling his collar to give him a firm kiss on his lips.

Something so fast had never felt so right. Maybe it's just a muggle thing.

"5 galleons they're snogging." Ominis takes a drink of his beer. Nora scoffs.

"10 galleons they're fucking." Nora ups her bet. Ominis gives her a look of disgust.

"Too crass, Nora."

"Yeah, well, I'd like to get my 10 galleons soon. I'd bet my fucking life Sebastian will get fucked." She smirks into her drink.

"You're disgusting."

"Thanks, I take pride in it."

When did you start writing?

Like wayyyyyyyyy back, I technically wrote my first story when i was 11. I didn't write again until i was 15 (original pieces + fanfics), then i stopped and Im back at it again at 26 ayoooo

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

if i really need to search further into my favorite books, i would definitely say psychological horror and dramas

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

I don't know writers enough to really get an idea of how to compare myself to any of them, but I do know that i tend to emulate what i'm exposed to, so if I read an entire series from an author, and they used a certain syntax, i'll tend to also do it by force of habit. (i also consider it a flaw cause i see it as hindering my writing creativity ;-;)

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

its my personal pc that doubles as my work space, so its a bit all over the place ngl haha, theres a lot of astarion stickers and posters, all the furniture (keyboard, mouse, desk, etc) is pastel purple (my favorite colour), i have three screens (mostly for work but its also useful in day to day life) and my three wallpapers are astarion, of course. sometimes when i feel a writers block, i found out that writing on my laptop does unblock me! in that case, youll find me typing away on my couch in my living room uwu

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

MUSIC. What I write will be highly dependent on what I listen at the moment, like I was really into boywithuke when i wrote my angsty fics, and then i moved to a dark romance playlist and that got me going for die for you but then i was unable to continue my other fic cause i wasnt in an angsty mood anymore ._. (i swear i didnt abandon it, it just isnt the playlists turn to play on repeat) and rn im a lot into sleep token and ari abdul

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

So. Much. Smut. And angst. not surprising! my writing will also often depict my current state of mind. dw im in therapy, im working on it

What is your reason for writing?

It's my favorite creative output/the one im most experienced in! i wanna start drawing but i never find the time to really get into it and also terrified of failure which brings me to my second reason, its all i think i can do and i get dopanine reading nice comments teehee

Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?

when people tell me about a favourite part, when they liked the tension i managed to create, how i convey some characters, and most of all when i get told they loved a character i created!! this is so encouraging and pushes me to continue <3

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

i dont know how to answer to that .-. uh, i guess i want to be liked? seen as a good writer if anything? idk man ;-;

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

Definitely descriptions, and creating a build up in a scene. I feel like it comes naturally to me and people have often told me that they are never lost when reading my scenes which reassures me so much LMAO I feel validated I also think I make really fun dialogue, especially banter with my ocs/tavs

How do you feel about your own writing?

i often self criticise my own work a lot, and i get that imposter syndrome where ill reread my work before posting and go "what the hell" in those moments, im grateful im not writing on paper cause that sheet would find its way to the trash real quick ^^ ' im sincerely truly blessed that my partner offers himself to read my pieces and beta read them, and tell me his honest opinion (there are things i wrote i wish i could forget and yall better be thankful he was there to stop me from posting first versions)

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?

mix of both definitely. initially i wrote my own ideas and if people do end up liking them hell yeah!!! glad im able to find people that vibe the same way i do! then again, when i write for people, even if most of it comes from my silly little imagination, it was initially influenced by the request itself and is going to guide the writing specific to this piece, which honestly makes sense imo

I interpreted this not necessarily as my favorites so much as... kind of a where to start? Picking my favorites of my own works would have been way too hard. So this is more of a sampler platter, haha :P

1. The Opposite Of

This is my magnum opus, probably? 40k words dropped all at once in a single chapter. It’s an AU where Boyd follows Raylan out of Harlan and they build a life together. This fic was such a joy to write, and the justies have been such tremendous supporters. I loved the whole process of figuring out what exactly gets Boyd out of Harlan and then what changes and what stays the same. I loved making it a sorta-fusion with Vice Principals, and I loved that I was able to be introduced to the Bingo Boards this way! This fic wouldn’t have been nearly as hot or as horny without them.

2. Two Drakes in a Pond

This is the fic that had such a higher audience response than I had expected! I really was proud of this one, so that it was so loved makes me so happy! This is the hallmark of my tag “1989,” which is what I’ve started using for all of that year of Raylan and Boyd. It’s the fic that really helped shape those two as characters at that age.

3. Cherry Compote

Cannibalism! Yandere obsession! Mutually unhinged behavior! Truly, a representative tasting plate of all my favorite tropes. It’s number five in the series, so it’s reasonably the climax of the growing story. I have a lot of different tones and stories and tropes in my library, but this one is the one most people think of when they think “Willow” haha :D

4. Like an Incendiary Device

OKAY. SO. MY RAYLAN/ZACHARIAH FIC. This fic is wild to me for so many reasons. It’s a fic I wouldn’t have likely read, if I hadn’t written it myself. It’s a fic that I wrote exclusively in a beach chair while I was on vacation. It gripped my brain and wouldn’t let me go until I posted it. I sent it to tooks immediately, because tooks is the best bird on the internet. It’s a vehicle for RaylanBoyd angst and Willa headcanons.

5. Remembered What I Never Knew

A rare entry in my works of something close to canon. Honestly, this fic has such a special place in my heart, because it is one of the two fics I wrote for Harlan Roulette Remix, which was the first fandom event I’ve ever hosted. I was so lucky to get to write for both Thorn and emdop. I chose this one, because I had always wanted to write an amnesia fics, since it’s one of my favorite tropes, and Thorn’s fic was such an amazing fic in the first place. (I’m going to also fudge the rules and also link 5b. Something in Your Voice Tells Me We’ve Only Just Begun teehee).

Sleep: I don't typically get as much sleep as I should. I'm a big night owl, and no amount of conditioning changes that. I usually get around 5-6 hours a night because I can't sleep until 2 or 3 but need to get up at 8. Dream Job: This is unchanged from last time. I hate the term "dream job" but I would ideally work in a specific healthcare field or in animal welfare.

Favorite Instrument: I can't play any, but my favourite to listen to is drums. I love absolutely disgusting blast beats; gets me hyped up every time.

Aesthetic: Modern, neon, or pastel-based things. I know, those are all a bit contrasting. My previous answer was fairy kei, and that still stands. Pastel goth.

Favorite Authors: I also don't read books much anymore. My favourite authors are all of the gay ppl writing fanfic in my phone 😘

Favorite Colour: PINK! Pink pink pink pink! I tend to gravitate more towards softer blushes or baby pinks, but most pinks are good. Green used to be my favourite as a kid, and I'm still partial to it.

Favorite animal sound: Same as Kay - cats purring. Alice has a slightly squeaky purr, and it melts my heart every time. It never gets old.

Last song: I'm listening to "Call of the Wild" by Powerwolf right this second.

Last series: I don't really watch much TV. I keep up with AEW Dynamite and Rampage every week, but that's not exactly the same. I binged the first 6 seasons of Letterkenny recently.

Rant on HLVRAI and the tumblr fandom + jewish headcanons

(Ok first, to clarify, I am not Jewish, that does not mean I cannot make observations, however I have a very close friend who is Jewish who I brought it up with and who agreed to be mentioned.)

I'm quite honestly not a fan of the headcanon that Bubby is Jewish due to the fact that he's one of the only nonhuman leads, and seeing tumblr users (who alot of them are not Jewish) fight so hard for it to be canon kinda makes me and my homegirl uncomfortable.

Sure, his model is of a Jewish man, but he himself is never mentioned to be Jewish, and seeing the fandom decide that this inhuman hyperinteligent test tube man is Jewish just makes me feel grossed out.

He is also one of what, 3 nonhuman characters? There are so many other characters you can have be Jewish, Like Tommy, Gordon and Coomer, cuz they're humans! But Bubby was canonically made in a lab and is genetically enhanced, why do you fight tooth and nail to have HIM be Jewish?

it just makes me kinda weirded out, thats all, hope you enjoyed todays rant, wishin ya the best!

i am alwayssss thinking about bif/derby (berby 🥺) because they are my BOYS!! however, lately i was talking to my s/o about a post i made about unlikely prep ships (that apparently doesn't fucking exist because i couldn't find it again and had a mental breakdown over it), it reminded me of my love for bryce/vance!!!

when the bully discord was still a thing, me and my friends talked about unlikely ships and how u can basically ship... any two characters together. i don't remember how exactly we landed on bryce/vance, but it made sense to me and really settled into my heart lol. idk how to justify it other than wow! it just works. but if someone wants to know more, pls do feel free to send me an ask

other than that, i've really been into bryce/chad recently... they wrestle at night :)))

when i first played bully, which was two years ago, it was me revisiting it YEARS after i first discovered it as a young kid, and so i actually knew what shipping was lol. the first ship that came to mind for me was petey/gary, and while that is def popular in its own regard, it really surprised me to see how crazy people were for smopkins.

there's nothing wrong with the ship, i think a lot of art for it is cute (i have a good amount saved), and the fics certainly pack some emotion, but it just didn't click with me, and it never will lmao. and i think some people are too crazy about it, but that goes for ships in every fandom.

other than that, i don't really care for gord/vance. i did at some point, but i'm a jimmy/gord guy myself lol. it's still soooo so cute though.

H - favorite fandom source

well, obviously i like bully a whole lot LMAOO. there's a lot of freedom with the amount of side characters rockstar filled the game with, and they all have a surprising amount of personality put into them. there are endless situations to put all of them in with the small amount we've been given, and often this fandom just doesn't take advantage of it lol

other than bully though, i'm casually into borderlands and i used to have a haikyuu phase, so i check up on those two fandoms occasionally. i also LOVEEEEE the karate kid trilogy and watch the show that's out now (i have my gripes with it but whatever smh). i also like checking up on the rpg ib and one punch man every now and then. oooh and i can't forget detroit: become human.

•He would be very interested, knowing that he’s the ultimate detective he would want to know a lot more

•If you haven’t seen my last post, I did one where Nagito and Hajime reacted to the reader with the same ability, so go read it! Anyways, my point is that he would act like Hajime, asking sophisticated questions

•When Kaede dies, he would basically beg you to make her come back but you weren’t really able to do that

•Now he pretty much spends his free time trailing behind you, trying to learn more about your ultimate

•Asking common questions like “Can you change ANYTHING? Like, can you change the time right now? How does your body react to this ability?”

•People literally had to push him away from you at some point

•But nah you guys are basically best friends

•Unless you don’t want to be his friend, it’s a one-sided relationship but he doesn’t have to know ;)

Kokichi:

•Like Shuichi and Nagito, he would be really interested?? Like not even as a joke, he would actually think it’s cool

•He doesn’t want to show it though so he would act like your ultimate is dumb

•“THATS your ultimate? Pfft, that’s WAY lamer than… than… Anyways, what can you even do? Erase me from existence? Hahaha! Haha… ha.”

•He wouldn’t trail around you like Shuichi, but would constantly ask you to do things for him

•Tbh he’s more chill than Shuichi, he doesn’t really show his true interest much so don’t expect your conversations to get any farther than “Can you kill Monokuma?”

•She’s not gonna really talk to you until she needs something from you

•So basically she doesn’t care?

•But once you’re able to explain your ultimate to her she gets a bit more interested

•And she would start talking to you more who knows

•After Kaito’s death, expect to see her a lot more

•Either begging you to revive him (like Shuichi), or just silently standing by your side

•If you both develop a good relationship then your basically her second option? She’s gonna be with you more than people would see her with others

•But again, that doesn’t mean that you’re like, besties or whatever. She still has her boundaries and deems herself as a “hazard”? She’s afraid she’ll get too attached to you and you’ll die ig

•Then she can’t use you for your ultimate anymore

Kaede:

•Wow, okay

•She’s hyped to be in the same killing game as you

•No like seriously she’s super interested in your ultimate

•Sometimes she would invite you to the music room just so you can talk, mostly about your ultimate while she practices the piano

•And if you play the violin as well she would be even more interested

•Ahem, but back to the reality warping

•When Rantaro dies, she might invite you to help investigate since she thinks you would be a great help

•So does Shuichi, so now you’re basically stuck with them

•While investigating, she would ask you to just do basic things that don’t really involve your ability

•But she might sneak in a few “Do you think you can bring him back so we could ask him?” Since that’s all you can really do right now

•But then you’d have to explain that it doesn’t work like that

"You boys ready to get your asses beat?" you teased as you tied your shoelaces.

"Don't get your hopes up, sweetheart," Steve warned. "I hate to brag, but I'm going to win."

Sam groaned. "I don't know why I agreed to this. Y'all are both fast as hell. Last time I got so winded trying to catch up with you."

"Winner gets twenty from the losers!" you quickly shouted, and both of your friends' faces lit up. "And also, bragging rights and glory."

"I swear, you people act more like 13 year-olds than 30-something year olds," Pietro commented as he leaned against the fridge, sipping an iced latte. "You making bets over who's gonna beat the other in a race?"

"Yup," you all replied in unison.

"Well then, see ya," he nodded, as you headed out the door.

"Alright," you breathed out, setting your hands on your hips as you surveyed your landscape. "So around Central Park, checkpoint at Cherry Hill."

"Got it," Steve nodded.

You tapped your wristwatch a few times, setting a timer. "Okay. On your marks. Get set. Go!"

You quickly broke into a sprint, feet pounding against the dewy pavement as you pumped your arms and legs as fast as you could go. You refused to look back, knowing that by doing so you'd be slowed down and fall behind both of them.

The scorching August heat was relentlessly beating down on your back, sweat rolling down your temples and causing your tank top and leggings to cling tightly to your skin. You kept going, though, despite your body screaming at you to stop.

Several minutes later you were not far behind Steve, with Sam only a few yards ahead of him as well. He didn't seem the least bit exhausted as he made a sharp turn and continued sprinting down the sidewalk, and if it hadn't been for your excessive training you would've given up within the first five minutes of starting.

"On your left," he said as he sprinted ahead of Sam.

"On your right!" you shouted as you zipped past both of them.

"Damn it!" you heard Sam let out a frustrated yell as he picked up the pace. “To think I was the top of my class in PE...”

"On your left," Steve informed him a few minutes later.

Then again. "On your left."

"Uh huh, on my left. Got it."

You were nowhere in sight at this point, and as Sam was still jogging Steve came around again from behind, starting from a new lap.

"Don't say it! Don't you say it!"

"On your left!"

"Come on!" he groaned. "Why don't you try targeting Y/N?"

Both men stopped for a moment and skidded to a halt, locking eyes with each other.

"Oh, shit."

"Language."

"Whatever. C’mon! We don't have any time to waste. If we lose, Y/N's never gonna let us live this down."

They continued on side by side while still keeping their pace, keeping close eyes and ears out for you; making sure to stay alert at all times.

"Christ, where'd she go?"

"I don't know—"

"On your right!" they heard you shout as you came bursting ahead of both of them, the wind from your speediness whipping them in their faces. "Come on, slowpokes! Last lap!"

"Are you kidding me?!" Sam yelled after you. 

Steve didn't slow down as they were chasing after you but after a bit, Sam grew frustrated and was unable to continue running, sitting down at the edge of the fountain to catch his breath.

"I win," you smirked as you took a sip out of your water bottle, wiping your mouth and letting out a satisfied sigh. "Victory sure is sweet."

"Need a medic?" the super-soldier looked over at the breathless Sam Wilson.

"I need a new set of lungs," he panted, "Dude, you guys just ran like, 13 miles in 30 minutes. Y/N, I don't even know where you went but you literally just pulled an Usain Bolt on my ass, what the hell."

"I guess I got a late start," Steve shrugged.

"Late start my ass," you snorted, crossing your arms over your chest. "Admit it, boys. I'm the champion here."

"Pfft. Why don't you go take another lap."

"Nah," you declined his offer, "I'd rather lounge around in bunny slippers while watching you do my dishes. Oh! And...you both owe me twenty."

They both took their wallets out of their back pockets, reluctantly placing twenty-dollar bills into your palm.

"Thank you," you smiled sweetly, before sliding the cash in your pocket.

"It's your beds, isn't it?"

"What?"

"Your beds, they're too soft. When I was over there I'd sleep on the ground and use rock for pillows, like a caveman. Now I'm here at the compound, lying in my bed, and it's like..."

"Lying on a marshmallow," Steve finished, "feel like I'm gonna sink right to the floor."

"Exactly."

"Also, since I won, you guys have to be my butlers for the rest of the day."

"Since when was that part of the rules?"

"It's always been part of the rules for anyone who wins anything," you defended yourself. "I'd like a piggyback ride all the way back to the subway station."

Steve just laughed and shook his head, bending his knees slightly. "Alright, alright. Get on."

"Hey, I'm just as strong as him!" Sam exclaimed. "You only want him to carry you so that you get a valid excuse to feel his muscles."

Your eyes widened at his statement, feeling a blush rise up your cheeks. "No I don't."

"Yes you do."

"Oh, shut up," you muttered, hopping onto Steve's back and wrapping your legs firmly around his torso. He hooked his arms underneath to hold you steady, as your arms went around his neck.

"Ew, you're sweaty. You smell. What happened to your blueberry and coffee cologne kind of scent? Why do you sweat so much? But I guess you wearing tight shirts make up for it, since—STEVE! Stop!" you let out a squeal as he leaned backwards slightly, your heart stopping momentarily as you came dangerously close to falling off his back. "You're gonna drop me! Stop!"

Steve let out a laugh, then proceeded to spin around and around to make you dizzy. You let out a high-pitched shriek, most likely catching the attention of a few passerby who wondered why Captain America had the normally serious Agent Y/N on his back and you were laughing like a little schoolgirl with goofy grins on both your faces.

"Say the magic words, then I'll let you down."

"I hate you."

"Wrong."

"We're no longer friends if you don't set me down right now."

"Nope."

"Steven Grant Rogers, you set me down right this instant or I'm going to beat your ass if you don't!" you threatened, kicking wildly and slapping his shoulders. "Let me down!"

"Those aren't the words," he said simply, rather amused by the frustration on your face. 

It was rather cute, if he was being honest.

"Okay, okay! I love Steve Rogers because he's the best Avenger and his muscles are like no other man here in New York! Now let me down!"

"There we go," he chuckled as he released his grip on you and you hopped off, dusting off your clothes. "See? That wasn't so hard."

"Attention-seeker," you accused, "you just wanted to do that so I'd be forced to compliment you. As good-looking as you are, I'm not putting effort into giving attention to someone who already gets so much of it every day."

"You think I'm good-looking?"

"Don't let it get to your head, Rogers," you rolled your eyes, but he could clearly see the pink tinge in your face which he knew wasn't from just running in the scorching heat. This only amused him further.

"If it makes you feel better, I think you're beautiful."

You almost choked on your own spit, going into a coughing fit and hitting your back to try and stop it.

"Don't mind me," Sam cleared his throat, "I'm just here, third wheeling. Or, chaperoning this couple who refuses to admit they're so in love with each other, if you'd like to put it that way. Oh wow, now Steve is blushing. Wow. Amazing. Y/N looks like she's going to faint. Wowwwww. What a beautiful love story. I totally don't feel left out."

"You wanna go for shawarma?" you offered. "I'm starving, and honestly, I could use the time away from Tony. He'll drag us down to play Mario Kart as soon as we get back home."

"Come on! Stop treating me as if I don't exist!"

You both looked over at Sam and laughed.

"I'm sorry," you sympathetically patted his shoulder. "It's quite the burden, dealing with Captain America on the daily."

"Damn right, now that you practically asked him out on a date and are set to become his girlfriend, I have to deal with even more excessive PDA."

"So, this is a date?" Steve raised an eyebrow at you. "Is that what this is?"

"No! It's not—" you let out a sigh of defeat, "well, if you want it to be, then...yes."

"It's a date, then," he smiled widely, kissing your cheek and sliding an arm around your waist.

"How come I never get the girls," Sam grumbled as he followed behind the two of you. "Life is so unfair."

ABOUT CAL

born in jeju-do and lived there until he turned around 8 to 9 years old to two muggles / no-majs. 

moved to california (haha) do to more family opportunities there. not only that, but they wanted to see how he would do in a new country!!! he goes by the name calvin. 

funny enough, not too long after they got him into school, he discovered his magic and started getting weird looks from other kids in his school because of it! pretty soon, they all started rumors about him and he felt very alone there

after they got him out of that school in hopes of trying to figure out what was wrong with their song, a wizard from the school of ilvermorny stops by their houses and helps give his famiy information on who cal is and about the school. wanting the best for him, they enrolled him into the school. 

wonderful! he’s in an environment surrounded by other people like himself! surely that means that he’ll be in a better mental state, right? not quite. thanks to the fact he revealed that his parents who are no-majs, a group of kids at ilvermorny started picking on him because of that. so much so that they pranked him and essentially humiliated him in front of the entire year if not the entire school. the leader essentially traumatized him enough that it becomes his boggart. 

desperate to move back home, cal goes to his headmaster and asks if there’s possibly a school of magic he can transfer to in south korea. they find one in the city of seoul, talk to his parents about it, and moved back there!!! and there, he worked his damned hardest to excel in magic (except in herbiology teehee) to prove that he was more than just a muggleborn wizard and that his magic is his own. 

around this time, he also decided to go by the nickname cal, half of his english name so that he could remember all the pain he went through and use it as motivation to work hard. trying to make something better out of it!!!

enrolled into mokseong (house geumseong haha house pride) with outstanding grades with a transfiguration major and a minor in muggle history.

has been trying to succeed more and more ever since. that’s why he’s a prefect and the president of the transfiguration club!!!

personality wise? easygoing and charming!!! will try to find a way into your heart, platonically or not! will tease you just to get closer and make u laugh (or be pissed w him he is not afraid) 

very intelligent and analytical. he wants to learn a LOT and in some situations, it’ll just be him being nosy bc he wants to know more about a person. 

though he’s always trying to be a good role model, if u mess with him, he will prank u!!!!

outside of campus, you’ll usually find him at madame menageries, asking madam about what she knows about each class and information about students ... sometimes at joyful jokes because prankster 

PLOTS!

with depth 

you are his rival! you essentially cannot stand him because of the fact that he’s gotten more achievements than you. no matter who you are and what your family is, you try to find a reason to doubt whether his achievements were earned for him. and a part of you is still trying to find something to be better at than him. (0/1) 

cal is secretive when it comes to talking about his past, but he seems to be open about investigating others and wondering about theirs. it’s almost to the point where you want to do the same to him, not only because it’s bothering you how he does it carefree to others, but because you are genuinely so curious about his reasons. he finds it charming that you wish to know more about him, but he finds it annoying how insistent you are. (0/1) 

cal should’ve been more aware of who he was throwing pranks on because the moment he threw that he threw a dungbomb at you and he saw the way you react, he knew it was over for him. and though he tries to act all buddy-buddy with you about everything, you still want to get back at him for such a childish act!!! (0/1) 

in contrast to the last four plots, this plot is more adoring of cal. you admire him and his resilience as well as how hardworking he is. you do recognize that sometimes he can be a bit much, but you can’t help but feel as if he’s someone to look up to!! you don’t even have to be close to him to know that he’s wonderful!!! (underclassman to junior, 0/1) 

while cal dares not to play the sport, he has a fascination over quidditch. specifically, how the players act with it. though not a player, he is a fan and he is willing to give advice to people who are new to the game or are now taking an interest in it. dare he say it, he’ll be face paint kid and even give you a test to see how well you know it. (0/1) 

transfiguration is your weakness and you wish to improve on it. why not go to the help of the transfiguration president? he’s always willing to help those who struggle at what he’s best at. (0/1) 

having muggle parents and essentially “lived” as a muggle for part of his childhood, you wish to know more about his experience as living in that environment. whether you wish to share similar experiences or learn more about it for an assignment, you go to the young geumseong student for help. though cal is essentially easygoing and carefree, he is still a prefect and will hold that responsibility. so if you’re a troublemaker geumseong student, even if he’ll sometimes tag along with your mischief, know that you will be given a warning from him. (0/1) 

you want to dye your hair a new color and you go to him, a colovaria master, to ask him for advice on which color you should try and if he can put that color on you!! just to be safe!!! (0/1) 

though he’s very vocal about how he is proud of being in geumseong (esp bc of professor aurora song saying she’d be in that house), he does like hanging out with hwaseong students. specifically you because you’re his partner in crime when it comes to pranks! yes you both frequent joyful jokes together. Though i guess most who want to know about it already do, here's the story: I dated someone i truly really loved, and after a long relationship online only, we finally met in person and they decided a romantic relationship is not what they wanted... We became "friends" and split a cheap best friends pendant necklace pair. The part i got had "st ends" on it, and i use that as an abbreviation for saint ends.. Dr. Ver: (The Noise appeared. Could that mean...)

Dr. Ver: "They're here, and they look different from before!"

Chris Yukine: "Steel yourself, Warrior Noise! You'll be Swiss cheese when I'm done with you!"

Dr. Ver: "To think they were hiding such power. This can only mean..."

Chris Yukine: "Well, we did beat that Noise, but I get why you wouldn't believe us."

Captain: "We know the difficulties involved with the task at hand... And of the terror the Noise bring."

Captain: "I can say with confidence that there's no way in hell a few girls like you--"

Kirika AkatsukI: "We'd appreciate it if you didn't belittle us!"

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "We gave that fight everything we had."

Chris Yukine: "I don't give a damn if you don't believe us or not, but then where do you think that Noise went?"

Captain: "Well..."

Soldier: "Captain, we should get moving."

Captain: "Ngh! I've seen enough! All right, we're moving on to the next site!"

Soldiers: "Yes, sir!"

Chris Yukine: "Hmph... What a pain in the ass."

Kirika Akatsuki: "I'll give them a piece of my mind, next time!"

Dr. Ver: "Now regarding your reception. The government would like to welcome you as something near to state guests."

Chris Yukine: "H-Hold on now! Isn't that going a bit far?!"

Dr. Ver: "Note that you won't receive the same accommodations as a state guest since they've entrusted you to my care."

Dr. Ver: "But, you will have free rein to fight the Noise and gather info to help counter them in the future."

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "So then we're above the law. But that just means they want to use us, doesn't it?"

Dr. Ver: Without mincing words, yes. You three are currently the only ones that can fight the Noise, after all."

Kirika Akatsuki: "We came back here to fight the Noise, but I guess things are more complicated than we thought."

Chris Yukine: "His point is that we're their only hope, right? I don't see anything wrong with that."

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Yeah, that's fine with me, too."

Kirika Akatsuki: "I guess when you put it that way..."

Dr. Ver: "I knew you would understand."

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "The alarm! Is it more Noise?"

Dr. Ver: "Yes. And, it seems to be those Warrior Noise to boot."

Kirika Akatsuki: "Let's move already!"

Chris Yukine: "Look! It's the Noise."

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "And the SDF..."

Chris Yukine: "Hey! Let us handle this!"

Captain: "Aim! Fire!"

Chris Yukine: "Are you listening?! Cut it out!"

Kirika Akatsuki: "Those attacks aren't going to work!"

Captain: "We're not done! Take aim!"

Soldier: "C-Captain! The Noise is breaking through our frontline!"

Soldier: "Aaaaaaaah!"

Captain: "Fire! Keep shooting!"

Chris Yukine: "What are you doing?!"

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Why won't they listen to us?"

Captain: "Shut up! We can't just turn tail at the word of some brats that show up out of nowhere!"

Chris Yukine: "Fine! We'll make this quick!"

Soldier: "Aaaaaaah! Stay away, stay away!"

Soldier: "Aaaaaaaaaah!"

Chris Yukine: "Dammit! What are you sacrificing yourselves for?! You're gonna die for nothing..."

Captain: "All for nothing?!"

Dr. Ver: "Please stay out of their way!"

Captain: "Doctor! But--!"

Dr. Ver: "If you wish to continue, you shall receive an official complaint from the US government."

Captain: "Urgh... All soldiers, fall back!"

Chris Yukine: "Thanks. This'll make things a little easier."

Dr. Ver: "That's good to hear. I shall bear witness to your gallantry from a slightly safer distance."

Chris Yukine: "Looks like it's time for the main course."

Kirika Akatsuki: "It's a whole group of Warrior Noise..."

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "But with these Kimono Gears..."

Chris Yukine: "...They're no match for us!"

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Just three more!"

Chris Yukine: "Don't let any get away! We're going to smash 'em all into dust!"

Kirika Akatsuki: "You got it!"

Dr. Ver: "Wonderful! I have nothing but praise!"

Soldier: "They defeated the Noise like it was nothing... Those girls are on another level..."

Captain: "Hey! Is that something someone entrusted with the defense of our nation would say?!"

Soldier: "S-Sir! No Sir!"

Captain: (But why can those girls beat the Noise? Why don't we have any weaponry that can do that?!)

Dr. Ver: "Dear oh dear, they've got honor, but a little more honesty with themselves would do them a world of good."

Dr. Ver; "Ah, but of course, there are more pressing matters at hand."

Kirika Akatsuki: "This should end it!"

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Kiri-chan!"

Kirika Akastuki: "Shirabe!"

Chris Yukine: "I'll do the honors! Hope you're ready to eat lead!"

Kirika Akatsuki: "We did it, Shirabe!"

Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Yeah, with these Gears, nothing can stop us, Kiri-chan."

Chris Yukine: "We're just too good for them, obviously."

Dr. Ver: "Haha. This is nothing short of incredible. It never gets old no matter how many times I see it."

Dr. Ver: "I knew I was right about those girls. With them, my aspiration shall be achieved... Hehe, hahaha!"
