i saw a really interesting theory about Violet’s second signet on IG and was wondering if you’ve seen it/what your thoughts were. With the Onyx Storm blurb and that line about only Violet being able to find the truth a lot of people are thinking she’s some sort of truth sayer.

if she is, the part of the theory i found super interesting was that maybe she has to learn how to ask the right questions and THATS what Xaden’s deal with the “ask me the right questions” thing was about. I think it has merit, especially since he figured out the lightning first (tho would Rebecca really do the same thing with her second signet?). but yeah i thought it was interesting. Xaden’s “ask me” game would still be really obnoxious but i do kind of like this angle of it better than him being intentionally difficult.

i wanted to see what you thought cause i love your insights into these characters sm!!!

I’ve seen those theories (they’ve been around for a bit and I’m sure the blurb only heightened them lol) and honestly I’m just stubborn and don’t want to believe it. To me, it doesn’t fit with her character from Iron Flame. She did not want or need the truth then. She needed information, yes, as she herself says, but she didn’t necessarily care about the truth. Xaden says something to her in that vein as well, that if she really wanted to know the truth she would have spoken up and asked, but she was hiding from it.

I also don’t like the idea of him learning about her signet before she does for a second time. He noticed it in Fourth Wing because he kissed her and her emotions were so heightened she had no control over it. In that scenario, since it’s a physical manifestation, it makes sense that he might observe it before she did, especially when the lightning was something she never expected to have.

With a signet like truth saying that’s entirely mental, why and how would he know before she does (you know, assuming we believe that he’s not reading her “intentions” anymore or whatever)?

I think Xaden’s deal with his questions game was him trying to force Violet into communicating with him the only way he knew how. He’s 23 and kind of an idiot. He just wanted her to reach out first, and they got to know each other by her asking questions about him in Fourth Wing. Why not try that again, you know?

I’m not saying Violet’s definitively not a truth sayer (Rebecca could definitely go that route and I wouldn’t be surprised at all) but I just don’t like the idea of it so I’m going to ignore it until I no longer can!!!

The theories are fun though! I think we’re all going to find confirmation bias for our preferred guesses wherever we can, for what it’s worth 🫶🏻

in amity’s lap, alma shifts: cat, glowfish, spottedfish, lionfish, and cat again. amity rests her hand across her palisman’s back, brushing soft fur.

“it’s not the same.” mari looks away, out towards the window where the moon trickles in. “you never…you get to figure out who you are. i already did, and i…”

“got it wrong?” alma offers, and mari’s lips curl back in a growl. alma’s purr rises in volume, loud enough that mari should hear it, too. it rumbles though amity’s own veins. “that’s okay. we did, too.”

46. Bugbear – Chloe Moriondo

she’s not so sure why she’s here, at school, doing this, when eda and king and firefly and lilith and burkit and every single adult she cares about save for mom is back stuck in a world under the collector’s control.

“it’s to make mom happy,” hunter says, a tiny red bird on her shoulder. he’s been doing that a lot—the bird, and the slipping up. calling camila mom, just like she would. “this way, we at least are able to somewhat pass for normal.” he fluffs up his feathers. “but…yeah. i get it. i wish we were with mari and flapjack, too.”

“it’s not fair,” luz whispers. she’s hidden herself away in an empty corner of the hallway for lunch, because people always stare at her weird when she and hunter talk to each other—just another one of those ways where she won’t fit in, talking to her daemon in public. “i want mom to be happy, i do, i just…why doesn’t this make me feel better?”

hunter shrugs. “i don’t know.”

“yeah.” luz huffs. “just five more hours of this.”

“five more hours,” hunter echoes, flapping down to peck at her sandwich. “let’s get through them together.”

starting w 31: OH MY GOD I KNOW EXACTLY WHEN THIS IS FROMMMMM its from episode 9! eclipse lake! when luz is sick w. common mold i think its called? yeah that but anyways in that episode luz is super out of it but mari isnt (for Reasons like: it isnt common mold lol but they arent important for this scene).

anyways! that means that amityalma and mari have a really sweet scene together...both of them have been struggling over being unsettled (luz n mari bc they were settled but unsettled, amity n alma bc they spent all of s1 pretending to be settled as something they werent) and they get to bond over it...mari cant talk about this stuff w luz but she CAN with amity and alma, and sort of. figure it out then.

also this is before i decided cats in the demon realm were fun shadowy nightmare creatures lol. originally alma took the form of a white cat (like ghost in the show) but bc i have A Thing im doing w forms that changed.

and 46: yet another luz and hunter suffering in the human realm scene! i think ive said it before but bc of the four of them hunter is the only one able to change form, and luz needs to pretend to be settled for long plot reasons im not getting into, luz and hunter go to school together as a human-daemon pair and neither of them like. enjoy it. theyre still melding together a lot and this Doesnt Help, and luz is used to the demon realm way of human-daemon interactions (aka the way i like them) vs the human realm way (aka Every Other Daemon Au).

hunters also supposed to be a lizard here hence luz commenting on him being a bird. its a fun time! a fun fun time. these kids are Going Through It

been looking in tags for a few days now to see if anyone else found the whole high cloud quintet and related story to be a bit.....poorly written, nonsensical, contradictory, full of plot holes and loose ends, etc. apparently i'm not the only one. (and i'm not even talking about shipping stuff, because any time I saw someone mad about bad writing, someone always replies to be homophobic and laugh about failed ships. weirdos.) it could have been so good but was thrown into the garbage for the most part (IF you noticed all the plot holes and contradiction. if not, then it's a fine enough story tbh. I expect most people to see it on surface level and not read all the little hidden lore bits and try to piece it together like my autistic brain did. which is ok! enjoy it if you liked it and ignore me 😆)

Summary : you’ve grown to like the cold hearted ex assassin and sometimes your not sure if its ok to fall in love with him

Damien was always someone who was proud and better than most people his age and both you of guys knew it. He had been raised as a child prodigy in a line of assassin , trained to be the next heir and leader of the rah al ghul thrown not to mention he was the son of batman , billionaire bruce Wayne and talia al ghul , daughter and accomplice to ra’s al ghul. So how did you , a mere vigilantly , the partner of batman and robins come to grow close to the snarky boy let alone fall in love with him.

And Now your here , at the giant wooden front door of the Wayne manner about to head in for a school project. It above you making you feel so small, maybe was a bad idea to go over his house but it was too late now.

Damien had initially declined when you first offered the idea of going over to his home to study. The idea of bringing you home alone made him shudder at the thought of it , even tho you had already meet them on countless times before( you work with them) . But your insistent pestering won him over only earning a defeated sigh from him to your surprise.

You knock on the door , the sound vibrating thru the giant walls. You stand there awkwardly waiting for someone to open the door , fiddling with your the books you had brought. It didn’t take long before the doors pried open to reveal Alfred .

“ good afternoon miss ( y/n ) , are you here for master damien?” He asked , his British accent prominent in his sentences.

You nod shyly , grasping your books closer to you. Alfred seeming catching on to your flusteredness starts guiding you to his room. Once at the door you stop to thank him.

“ thank you alfred” you say greatfuly

“ it was my pleasure , its nice to see master damien enjoying himself and having a girlfriend to accompany him if you guys need anything pls call me, i will be making deserts in the kitchen. ” he chuckles to himself before leaving you at the door way .

You’re too focused on keeping the books in your hand from falling cuz of your suddenly sweaty hand that made you fail to notice your face burning up.

You knew what Alfred meant by those word but it didn’t stop your mind from thinking that way.

I mean maybe.. no you had to stop yourself from wondring into the delulu world And get ahold of your self . you knew that damein wasnt interested nor ready to be in a romantic relationship. he was only now learning how to appreciate and grow in a. plotonic relationship with most people including you , his brothers and his father.

But just maybe in the future your dreams would come turn but thats not now.

You open the his room door, your eyes follow to where damien was now laying in his bed ,reading a book which you guessed to be a history one. He turns his head towards you and gives you a eye brow raise.

“ took you long enough” he snarks , his voice laced with sarcasm . He finally sitting up from his bed to face you.

“ what? Were you waiting long for me “ you spit back with the same tone as his voice. A grin now forming on both of your faces.

“Nope , lets get this over with” he replies with a sign , patting the the area next to him on his bed.

You smile ever so slightly and you start walking ,books in hand that maybe it isn’t too bad to stay friends and thats enough for you for now.

Sorry if this was bad , it was kind of rushed. This is a small one shot i decided to do for the fun of it . Don’t take this too seriously.

I've brought together the basic outline of my idea... and since I said I share it here I am!

I really hope you like it and it is something interesting for you! I had a lot of fun fleshing out these ideas so it's alright.

Like it is established in your thoughts Warden Ingo is like an empty husk of who he used to be, torn away from his old life, his memories and from Emmet. I've added to this idea that there is a link between certain humans and Reshiram + Zekrom at all times. Aside the fact these humans have a high tendency of leaning into truth/ideals there isn't much else but it gives the dragons some kind of balance and ties to the people of Unova. Kyurem being "just" the husk has no such tie to the people, though it longs for one.

Ingos ties to Zekrom has been severed when he arrived in Hisui and as there already is a human tie in this time on top of being a shadow of his former self it has become a once in a lifetime moment for Kyurem to have a human tie as well.

Kyurem feels Ingo's presence all the way in Hisui and eventually seizes the opportunity to form a human tie with him. But things go horribly wrong and Ingo ends up being in a half frozen state. Never feeling truly warm; the few things his heart remembers from his old life keeping his core just warm enough.

With ice leaking out of him and an incident where he almost hurts (or does hurt) someone(not sure who), he steps down as a Warden and Instructor at the Dojo and decides to hide in one of the many ice caves in the Icelands, so he can no longer be a danger to the people. After all safety of others comes first, no matter what.

Enter Akari who just refuses to leave Ingo to his own misery and is determined to help him out of this no matter how. And no matter what it takes.

(I've also thought of the idea that since Ingo's tie with Zekrom has been severed it affects present Unova as well. With Zekrom being restless + causing random thunderstorms all over Unova. I can see N seeking out the Pokemon trying to find out what's wrong. Not sure though how much Emmet will be involved, I can see him being affected by the severed tie as well as Reshiram, not sure how at this moment though... Especially since Emmet isn't even aware of his tie... just that something is horribly wrong beside that Ingo is missing.)

OHHHH OH THIS IS SO COOL I LOVE THIS CONCEPT!! Kyurem wanting a connection with someone but it can’t in its empty state, augh… ;n;

MAN. I could certainly see how this tie would be severed especially if Ingo was placed into a different timeline when this happened (a timeline where he already exists and is fine in the present/hasn’t been sent back yet?). Putting something into a timeline separate from the Zekrom he’s connecting to, and into a timeline where a “him” already exists and is connected to that timeline’s zekrom would leave him without a connection at all. (WHEW THATS CONFUSING but I see your vision and ITS VERY VERY GOOD)

Especially if Ingo doesn’t know exactly what’s going on with this persistent cold and this feeling of connection, I could see why he’d want to separate himself from a situation. Even if it wasn’t a terribly bad incident, don’t give things a chance to do something worse, especially if you don’t understand what you’re dealing with.

I AM GLAD TO HEAR AT LEAST AKARI IS THERE TO HELP WHEN HE TRIES TO WITHDRAW. They will figure out what’s going on together!!!

I love the thought of Zekrom becoming restless. A tie was severed!! I doubt either of them have ever dealt with a situation like that and even know what a severed tie feels like. And the thought of N trying to figure things out and talk to the dragons as well… SO GOOD.

It's not only Nightbow at least, I see the people here who ship Rainbow and Void together, same thing, but if we're talking SS then there was still no good interaction of them both to be on the level of actually being good friends. Still, Wattpad people are freaky about them too.

This can be implied to Favremyrainbow ig, but to me it's very bland and boring. I admit I did in fact ship them, but as time passed I just stopped because it was so cringe 💀💀

Okay the only thing I can counter this is Alux x Petro.

Petro and Alux are basically Anna and Hanz in Frozen, gaslighting and manipulation exist but dynamic and trust are important. There is communication towards the two that leads into something in the plot.

Nightbow has none of that, they hate each other's guts. People say they can fix them, nah, with Palux you can make them worse (/j) HEJWJEJWJSJA

"Petro and Alux's entire dynamic is mainly built off of manipulation" YES but thats on Petro's side. Most people ship it due to it being tragic on Alux's side because everyone in this fandom likes doomed mlm i guess (I'm one of those people but again the plot reasons goes on for both of their dynamic)

"But he stabbed him" YES. I have not seen a single person who ships them currently its mainly a one sided ship. For alux its built off genuine love and care for Petro, knowing he's the only REAL connection in his life. The people who ship them (from what I've seen) mainly do it for tragedy and narrative purposes. no one is actually here WANTING alux to be stabbed and abused

And for Petro it adds much more conflict to his character if you add like any romance to him. like, loving the person your meant to kill and killing them anyways is a really interesting narrative plot idea. Its also really funny tbh but oh well.

Narratively it adds more to their characters as long as you dont romantize it and treat it like it'd be healthy especially at this point in the story.

This is literally doomed Yaoi (it's funny I wanna say that) and it works so well because of how they were narratively written this way towards each other. This cooked better than some enemy wanting to, excuse my language, have freaky SHIZ going on with the Hero 💀

god the idea of shipping them (i know its odd to use that term for medieval literature characters but lets be real im not better than some weeb just bc my fandom thoughts are channeled into manuscripts) emerged from a joke discussion on a (i believe now defunct?) arthuriana discord server so what the original justification for it was i don't know but it's so cemented in my brain that it makes sense to me. the thing is conceptually it's really funny but its also quite fucked up and weird and sad, which is like the sweet spot to me

i think both characters occupy an interesting place in the like social makeup of camelot; lamorak is a successful knight and well liked but he doesn't seem especially popular, if that makes sense? like in the morte he's alone usually, or hanging out with tristan and his coterie. he also seems to be kind of a loud asshole. theres a bit in the morte where morgan sends this maguffin that reveals affairs to camelot via him, and, as a joke, he redirects it to tintagel to fuck over tristan instead. which is a kind of intense prank to play on your friend who is having an affair with the queen but okay man.

who else is kind of an asshole with no friends? thats right, agravaine (sorry agravaine). joking aside tho per the vulgate agravaine is also kind of abrasive and rude but in a witty, funny way (one of the only good traits it grants him is a quote quick tongue) . i feel like they would sit in the corner at feasts talking shit about people. also theyre both second sons w shitty ass dads, but lamorak actually does what agravaine never could and outstrips his older brother in terms of fame and accomplishment. the foils of it all. i think they can snipe at each other and lamorak is like haha fun playful flirtacious banter w my buddy agravaine and agravaine is like my fucking mortal enemy lamorak has insulted me yet again i need to strangle him to death (sexual)

it kind of fits that shitty loser vibe for lamorak to then sleep with his mom (im so sorry to say this but. eve sedgwick triangulation of desire).

I think sometimes the VAs work when sick, but there are times where they are absent for a whole week just like when moon went missing (I think last year) and it was because he was sick, or more recently Davis and Kat moved and they didn’t appear that’s why foxy or puppet showed up.

But I do agree I wish they could go back like the beginning where they would post lore videos on the weekends and for special occasions like the first Halloween takeover like they are doing it right now. I miss them playing more and just having fun I also wish they could finish a game like little nightmares, idk that’s wishful thinking, but also don’t try and speed run the game, play it like it’s the first time, or for games like cult of the lamb have a new save file start from the beginning so viewers get interested on it, just don’t jump on it and play it otherwise people won’t know what’s going on (I speak from experience, when watching their gameplays).

Ive bought games from the ones they played just to see how it ends or if the game is not available due to it being VR I see another YouTuber playing XD

about the gargoyles au im sure i had some ideas back when i first drew that piece a while ago but i never wrote anything down. What little i can remember is that it used the empires cast. Unlike Elisa in the show Scott is not a detective but a journalist and thats how he ends up meeting Sausage after hearing some rumors about a billionaire putting a medieval castle on his skyscrpper and deciding to be nosy about it.

Scott and Sausage start dating way faster than the hell of a slowburn Goliath and Elisa have. Scott just saw this silly hunk of a gargoyle and decided he wanted a piece of that XD, Sausage also didnt have a mate from 1000 years ago nor as much inhibitions about a human/gargoyle relationship as Goliath.

Pearl and fWhip are both gargoyles. fWhip is Sausage's rookery brothers in a similar way to Goliath and Coldstone, while Pearl came from the next hatching. fWhip adapted really well to the modern day, instantly taking an interest in machines and technology, Pearl is just glad there are still baddies for her to punch.

I was really indecisive about Gem tho. I love me the roseblings but gargoyle twins are impossible unless they somehow hatched from the same egg and having them being different ages idk is missing something. So in the end i decided to make Gem an human and be friends with Scott in a similar way to Matt Bluestone with Elisa (tho idk what her profession could be, she could be a co-worker of Scott's or be a detective who helps Scott and the gargoyles), and just know i thought like Matt maybe she is interested in proving something is real but instead of illuminatis she is trying to prove magic is real. Eventually she meets the gargoyles and becomes really close to fWhip in a familial way.

Jimmy is also a human and Scott's ex but they are in good terms. He is part of law enforcement (something something sheriff? XD) and is trying to figure out if the gargoyles are risky or not (not because he wants but because of his job, he's never seen them do anything bad so he doesnt think they are a menace), and Scott has quite some fun leading him to dead ends.

The rest of the empires crew im not so sure about.

Shubble could take a role like Angela, being a younger gargoyle from the Avalon clan, raised there with the other eggs from Sausage, Pearl and fWhip's clan before the massacre and wanting to see the modern world (but not she is not related to Sausage).

Katherine could be a child or even a grandchild of Oberon.

Pix could perhaps be Scott or Jimmy's boss. Or he could be a gargoyle and the leader of Sausage's group.

Lizzie and Joel idk beyond being Jimmy's sister and Jimmy's brother-in-law, so human but thats it.

And Joey im drawing absolute blanks😅. (he could be the billionare in question, lol would be fun if the equivalent of Fox in this au were Xornoth and Scott no likey his brother marrying some rich fuck)

As for the plot i dont have any concrete story beyond the basic plot of Gargoyles but sillier. So Sausage, fWhip and Pearl (and maybe Pix) were gargoyles living in a medieval castle 1000 years ago but they were betrayed and 98% of their clan was massacred and they were put in a stone sleep until their castle was put on a skyscraper by some billionaire and the spell was broken, now they need to learn to navigate this strange new world, making new friends and allies along the way

I've been dying laughing at other people suggestions about the date at the beach!

I can also imagine Satoru playing beach volleyball with the reader and letting her win. Or play with the frat boys, and be extremely aggressive. Another thing I like to think is that Satoru and the reader would like to collect shells on the beach, and Gojo would help and watch over her.

The headcannon of Satoru being afraid of big dogs is hilarious! Imagine a six-foot-tall man scared of his girlfriend's dog. Like, whenever he goes to her house, he makes sure the dog is locked in another room or outside.

Yes, I am a lover of studying history. Especially if it's classical antiquity and medieval history! I think it's interesting and cute that you have this type of memories and relationship with museums, because a lot of people don't like it.

I like to imagine that the reader and Satoru are appreciating a beautiful Greek statue and the reader begins to explain the canon of polykleitos (law of proportion in which the size of Greek statues are equivalent to seven heads), and Satoru without understanding what hell she's saying. Or he would compare her face or body to the statue. That would be very romantic!

Other fun fact, since I see a LOT of blood everyday (I work in a blood lab making sure samples get to the right place-). Blood can come in all kinds of funky shades! I see a lot of blood separated into red blood cells and serum, and serum can just like- fuck up. I've seen greenish serum. It's Not suppose to be greenish!!!!!!!

I imagine the y/n's blood is probably astoundingly normal medically wise tho. No green there.

Hi! I saw your recent most and I really like how Yuki and Zuri's powers affect their fighting styles. It's always interesting to see other characters with elemental kinesis in general(especially since I have one myself)!

If possible I'd like to hear more about the girls' "relationship" with their powers so to speak. You can interpret that as you will :)

The short answer is: They're powers have very much become part of them, and they're mostly fueled by their emotions and feelings. They've spend their early life just learning to control them, and they've pretty much become experts in the field. Those powers truly connect them to their heritage and I think without them they'll lose a big part of their identity.

I'm honestly open to the idea of exploring what would happen if one day they did lose that power or they accidentally hurt their friend(s) and stopped using it for a while. It could lead to some fun character deveplopment for sure >:3c

To make the best out of her powers, Zuri needs her mind to be calm and focused. To help her with that she often drinks tea and meditates. also yes Rough is joining her this time tho he doesn't really get it and its just enjoying the company

when she's angry or distressed if often leads to her powers going a bit haywire or not working well at all, and in some cases they can even get dangerous depending on her fury.

Ice and water are essencially the same but still different, and thats also the case when it comes to Yuki and her powers. She doesn't need to be calm for her powers to work the best, she just needs to be determined and knowledgeable. Which can be difficult work her since she isn't that smart and she's a bit of a scatterbrainer

She can often make it snow just by pondering on something really hard and not notice.

I mentioned it before that she can pretty much make any weapon out of ice as long as she knows how it works. Which is why she hasn't made a snow gun yet XD

And like i've also mentioned before when she gets very flustered her ice weapons melt, which ties her powers very closely into her emotions/mood.
