MOE. SUMMER ALT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

BIGGEST thing about Moe history is that for Literally Actual Years. I have been trying SO hard to get a beach outfit for it Right. I always had some aspects of it in mind (the white cover-up -- initially sheer, but I like the idea that it's a light shawl kinda like Lyon's, here). But a lot of my designs felt too feminine. Moe is about Balance. Moe is about Mishmash. Moe is about The Silly Factor. It's also unexpectedly practical and loves questionable fashion choices.

All this in mind! I think its Look really came together when I decided to give it some sporty touches. I esp love the wet shoes... and the visor works so well on it?? The little fish skeleton is a handmade accessory (not actual bones.), like its "tail" in its everyday outfit. I imagine it's jointed/maybe chain linked, so it has some movement to it! The skeleton adds a bit of edge it always has, and ALMOST. Gives a manta ray silhouette paired with the shawl (most noticeable in the topmost art! Didn't set out to do that, but when I noticed this I ran w it LMFAOO)

I GOT IT JUST RIGHT #and then i added details impulsively in pen and the design got too busy. it really needs to be simple.#so what did i do? painstakingly scratch off the pen with a knife.#it's such a small drawing... but it was so perfect.... perfectly capturing everything i wanted to capture w a summer moe...#another thing is that i think sometimes you have to make sacrifices. like. a lot of my prev designs #made a point to show moe's top scars and ESP. its nipple piercings. but like. nothing seemed to work.#i think also bc i have to ask myself 'would moe feel comfortable wearing that?' both gender and autism wise #the sheer cover ups looked so uncomfortable. and i also think about what parts of moe's body #is it most uncomfortable with. thighs ranking first. its shorts always have to be around knee length #i think in second would be its waist/hips. not so much that it Can't be shirtless esp w top surgery #but enough that like. a cozy cute shawl might be nice.#little things change between each drawing too LMFAOO like changing the wristband color from red to green #NONE OF THIS FELT FINAL. all of it feel like I'M GETTING. SO CLOSE. SO FUCKING CLOSE #another scrapped idea was having a fishing lure dangle from the hat. but that would be So Fucking Annoying to wear LMFAOOO #and ESP annoying to draw w moe specifically. the way either eye is visible at any given time.#ANY WHICH WAY. #self #fantasy costume #If I had the money for a custom tailored fantasy-ish victorian-ish suit instead of piecing together random thrift store items with like walm #rt halloween costume type jackets and stuff..#unstoppable.....#I would actually lean more straight up historical with my wardrobe it's just that everything I own basically is thrifted aside from a very #small portion of things (like usually socks for example I get from ebay. wigs from ebay. things that it's hard to find in thrift stores. etc #) and I rarely ever find stuff like that at the bins. Your closest bet is like. hopeing that the week you come in just so happens to also be #a week that a church costume department recently donated a bunch of old stuff. but I just haven't really had much luck finding like fancy ve #sts and suit coats and cloaks or like tunics and etc. etc.#Styles like mori kei or cult party kei are pretty accessible and easy for places like the bins (where youre usually digging through piles of #curtains and fabric scraps and doilies anyway). but finding like.. a straight up tudor england costume or something is . VERY rare #Sometimes you do find halloween costumes. Or like. stuff that's clearly like cheap 'Goth' stuff from shein or aliexpress that someone has do #nated and they can be a LITTLE okay in terms of usable for costumes. But you rarely find actual good quality stuff. obviously because like #real very good quality historical costumes are expensive and most people aren't just like 'yeah dump it off to goodwill' lol #In an ideal world though I would have fancy top hats and neck ruffles and stuff .. know this ghhjbhj #Lack of that will not stop me from taking picturesin basically the same outfit 6000 times though. My one single silky black vest and #one of the two solitary ruffly neck shirts I have every been able to find.#Pointy-ish little boots that I put with everything even thogugh they look terrible up close because they're literally like over 10 yrs old #I bought them so long ago and the black fake leather lining is like peeling off of the outside #ANYWAY #he's back again... the same little generic like elf vampire ruffle shirt with vest look.. might as well be the same guy #I support him and his dumbass disintegrating shoes anyway

Okay first of all i remember a couple years ago when a twitter thread was going around about artists that made really fucked up paintings and were huge horror iconography and everyone was sharing their favorite horror artists like goya and when i was scrolling through replies someone linked (?) to a thread where someone painted these detailed pieces but there was always at least one person looking directly at the viewer. like the concept was so fucking scary to me that i forgot to bookmark/like the tweet and i lost that thread forever and i really want to know who the artist was

BATDR spoilers after this Point?/??? its just me mentioning a new enemy from the game but jic.#Searcher cade fleeing from a keeper- only to get cornered against a ink splattered wall-#Cade shuts their eyes expecting the keeper to kill them but instead they feel something push past them-#open one of their eyes to find the ink demon moving past them as they pull themselves from the wall-#prowling forward on all fores as he unhinges his jaw and growls loudly at the keeper- cade cowares back against the wall #as he throws himself forward at it-#they close their eyes listening to the two fight- gargled screeching and snarling- the sound of claws ripping through inky hide-#before finally it falls mostly quiet. replaced by low wheezing breaths and something bumping their head against his #knocking their baseball cap to the side a bit. opens their eyes to see the ink demon- lil beat up but overall still standing.#keeper melting dead on the ground behind him.#Ink Demon raises a large- clawed hand to sort of. Ruffle the top of Cade's head. Rumbling at him #before disappearing back into the ink stain in the wall. tail hooking cade's hat to fix it straight on their head before it disappears #after him #Cade just kinda Squeaks- a lil shocked but appreciative of the save n makes themselves scarce as they quickly leave the scene #INK DEMON.keep searcher cade safe. d:]#idk if tumblr will keep these tags. so sorry 4 rambling in the tags HJKGFDSHJF #feeling not good right now so im just gonna imagine my favorite big ink demon keeping me safe from baddies.
