I don’t know if anyone has talked about this but I feel like there’s a lot of importance regarding Melissa being the one that give advice to the pre-teen girls about relationships and such.

Yes, the “Plotting Revenge” is an absolute fun line for her to say, specially after her very recent break up but there’s so much depth when we remember that Melissa has no children of her own, like Lisa has said; We don’t know why Melissa has no children of her own but we know that she views all of the kids at Abbott as her own, not only the kids in her class

Maybe it’s because for me something that I view as such a core aspect for Melissa is how she views and behaves with her kids that makes me see this as something of big value when it probably isn’t, but, I feel that it is so deeply important for her that these kids seek her advice and maybe view her as a maternal figure.
