I hope it's okay to just throw prompts out like this. I'm still very new to this fandom but very invested in Chenford (being caught up with a show is the worst, why do I fall in love with these types of ships until I know how it ends?), so much so I dusted out an old tumblr account and posted a ramble on ao3. I'm down bad for these clueless fictional idiots. * What if Armstrong didn't take Caleb's deal in 2x11? As in, he arrests Caleb instead of going with him. It wouldn't change them finding Lucy, I don't think, but could give some very nice (and by that I mean angsty af) interactions between Caleb and the others. Namely Tim, of course. * Tim is the one who goes to the prison with Nolan, so he's the one who goes with Nolan to the house to confront Caleb. Does Caleb still die in the same way? Does he live? Does Tim have to sit and watch the video feed for those agonising seconds while he waits for the rest of the team to touch down, after realising Lucy isn't in the barrel in the house? * What if Tim didn't give Lucy the 'Bradford special' back in 1x09, and she still gets shot? Any excuse for feral/protective Tim, especially since he'd be even more feral after Isabel's shooting. * What if, to help Jackson, Lucy offers to switch places and become's Stanton's rookie for that last month. What's the worst that could happen? * Lucy is exposed in 1x20 instead of Tim. * Lucy has serious thoughts about breaking the door down in 1x20 when Tim is attacked * Both Tim and Lucy are exposed in 1x20 and have to quarantine together * Not so much Chenford, though obviously Chenford, but just people supporting Lucy after Jackson's death. Give Lucy all the hugs please. * One of those 5 times fics but revolving around Lucy's moonstone ring. * Lucy gets greenlit instead of Nolan * Tim helping Lucy to wash her hair after she'd been injured in some way. Not sexual, not necessarily platonic, just helping. Either as friends or established lovers, post break-up or pre. Even a fully clothed over the basin 'don't expect me to dry it too, Boot' because he felt guilty. I just love a good bit of non-sexual TLC sometimes. * Honestly, same as above but with Jackson. So definitely platonic but just something sweet and soft. Lucy needs TLC, okay? I have feelings about this. * Overprotective (not necessarily 'I have feelings for her' but, ya know, we love a clueless Tim) Tim looking out for Lucy (in that weird way of his) with some of the more asshole officers/civilians they meet through her training/time as P2. Especially if she pisses off an asshole cop (akin to Stanton. If not Stanton. We hate Stanton) for some mundane reason, and Tim has to have her back when it escalates. * Lucy accidentally pisses off a very high ranking criminal. Cue everyone protecting Lucy even though she doesn't need protecting. * Tim and Lucy chat after the Stanton confrontation. * Lucy's ill or mildly injured but pushes through/stays in work. Tim keeps pushing her and she makes a mistake and/or gets hurt. Angela, Bishop, Harper, or Grey talk with him, and make him realise he has to know when to stop pushing sometimes. * Lucy's had a particularly bad day with some shitty criminals/civilians/officers. Tim thinks he gets it but he can't, not really, so his brand of tough love isn't working as he wants it to. Lopez/Harper/Bishop and/or even Lucy try to get him to understand he'll never understand what it's like to be a woman (and one of colour) on patrol. * Lopez/Harper/Bishop etc take Lucy out after said bad day. Tim can be there with Nolan if he wants. Jackson too. Jackson gets it more but everyone needs to hear how difficult it can be. Mainly ladies supporting ladies. * And if anyone wants to take a proper shot at the long-form disjointed ramble fic I did, or take ideas from it, please do. Basically post-break up, Lucy's in a bad place and Tim goes to comfort her and I have a lot of feelings about Jackson being gone and Lucy not having the support network she should with Tim and Tamara leaving her - ao3 ramble here

That should be it for now, at least while I keep working through episodes properly (also, ugh, watching these early episodes with Nolan/Lucy stuff is just...ick after binging all the Chenford stuff first ^_^). as someone who is also trying to overhaul their entire wardrobe after throwing out fast fashion pieces,, do you have any specific brands you like, advice on places to get clothes for long-term wear, etc? ty!!

thank you for asking! this is a long post but it's been my life for a bit now so i would suggest reading through it to skip the learning stages that i went through the hard way! there is some important and useful info here :) brand recs at the end

i would suggest looking for vintage or secondhand clothes first and foremost bc that's how you can find quality pieces for a reasonable price :)

if you want pure longevity, synthetics like polyester, nylon, elastane, etc will last not only your lifetime but your grandchildrens' too. they can be quite comfortable sometimes BUT:

they will likely break down in hundreds of years

they are NOT biodegradable and so will break down into microplastics and toxic microfibers

for me and a lot of others, you will notice the difference in quality in synthetics vs fabrics like cotton and virgin wool. i refuse to buy synthetics for the above reasons but also bc they just Feel Worse idk how to explain iykyk (tip especially valuable for autistic ppl)

brands: all depend on style so look for the styles you like/want to dress in on pinterest, then track down the original designer of the dress! from there you can search irl places or plug the designers into apps like:

vinted: cheaper vintage or second hand clothes from all sorts of brands

vestiare collective: more high-end, pieces are authenticated and usually in great condition

GEM: a gem of a site truly, accumulates all the finds from your search from different websites like ebay, etc

depop: honestly not the biggest fan but can be good sometimes! make sure to buy vintage/secondhand and ask sellers for the brand to not get sold an aliexpress dupe for 100 bucks

vintage shops: especially good for accessories like belts and ties. vintage shops usually have much better stuff than charity shops

kilo sales: THE BEST PLACES IRL in my opinion i got a 2k+ virgin wool coat for £20 . honestly in my experience kilo sales are great. check out Worth the Weight if you're in the UK!

remember that brand history matters! for example vivienne westwood has a great reputation as luxury punk but the pieces produced in recent years are actually very low in quality, defintely not worth the money for a lot of people! pay for quality, not just the name :) same goes for jean paul gaultier's recent pieces imo.

additional VERY USEFUL tips:

the standard zipper used by most of the companies making your garments is YKK. if you look at any zipper you're wearing rn and inspect it closely chances are you'll see YKK engraved on it. before buying a piece check that it has opti or riri zippers - this is some indication of a higher quality

one of the first things to do before buying a piece is to immediately check the materials it's made of!! the tag detailing materials is usually towards the bottom of the garment . i immediately dismiss things that have higher than 5% synthetics but i'm just rly picky w materials

EACH MATERIAL HAS DIFFERENT USES !!! BUT GENERALLY: virign wool is the best kind of wool, full-grain leather is better than most other kinds of leather, mulberry silk is better than other kinds of silk

brand recs:

yohji yamamoto, yehufan (i own a skirt by him!!), marina eerrie, ann demeulemeester, jw anderson, solovair for shoes (much better than docs), maison (martin) margiela (esp artisanal line 0), miu miu (i wear their beret i thrifted for £15 almost every day), valentino esp pre 2021 , lemaine , undercover older pieces , early raf simons , ...honestly there's a lot, if you need more send another ask or DM :)

p.s. if u can go runway shows etc go to the sample sales afterwards sometimes the pieces there are gorgeous !! but sometimes v pricey :')

About the Mean Girls musical movie

I know Ive had conversations before about the cultural context stuff, that it seems like the message was not as effective as the first movie when the stuff its talking about, how girls are wrong whatever they do and everything is up for criticism and filming, and you have to pretend to be sweet and kind fairy princesses instead of being allowed to be human. And Id have to go back and find those posts to see what I do and dont agree with now. Because I just saw the movie. And honestly, I liked it. A lot of the visuals were really fun and interesting, which I think is impressive in a movie that mostly takes place inside of a high school. Regina more than once looks like she's in a music video, and that works because shes so hyped, its like she lives in a reality where not only do people break into song, but she's always in a music video. She really sells the character, self-assured and in charge and perfectly manipulative, and even when she's being vulnerable you're like, but is this another deception? She's more villainous in this version, and by the end maybe more human as well. (also the costuming is phenomenal, that Halloween angel dress?? The entire Halloween Someone Get Hurts sequence might be my favourite. )

Also Renee Rapp, who plays Regina, is just incredibly hot. She also played Regina on Broadway so it makes sense she has the character down. Thats not film critique thats my personal admiration. Its almost a little silly with the "oh no Regina is gaining weight she cant fit her clothes" because she looks amazing. [Edit: She's also obviously - I was gonna say she seems older than the other "teens" but actually she's 24, so Im having a moment of feeling old. And she's actually the same age as Auli'i Cravalho who is a lot younger in my mind because holy shit Moana came out EIGHT years ago?? Angourie Rice/Cady is 23, Jaquel Spivy/Damian is 26, Avantika/Karen is 19, thats more the age I thought they were but not the cast seems to be mostly 23-26. Its so weird when times moves the same for people while your image of them in your head stays the same. So Rapp isn't older she's just a bit bigger (neutral/positive). And she's been playing the role for a long time. And Im allowed to find her hot because she's a goddamn adult and so am I. This paragraph is not critique it is me blogging on my blog. Now Im annoyed at myself for Caveats of Fear but Im gonna stop dwelling on that now.]

On that note, though I originally liked the musical quite a lot, the significant fatphobia in it soured it for me. And Im happy to say in the musical movie, they changed or omitted those lines. I was waiting to cringe and they just sang something else. So that was great. I think the only fat character was Damian (why does that suddenly look like a vampire name?) - Jaquel Spivy - and he seemed comfy and cool, no self deprecating fat jokes or anything. Generally the lines/jokes that were uncomfortable or a bit bigoted have been changed. Though there isnt any disability rep, and theres a random character the burn book claims puts alcohol in her inhaler, like a 3 second joke.

And the big thing is that a lot of the meanness is shown in montages of vertical video and comments - no-brand tiktok obviously - and I think thats pretty realistic, and also in the original theme of not being mean to peoples faces but talking all kinds of shit behind their backs. And I think the montage format is effective in mimicking that endless scroll eyes glazing over stuck in the doom scroll/stuck in the spectacle. The music was good. I really liked how they overlaid the Spring Fling/thematic music with the math competition. If anything, Cady is not as good of a character, her Plastic switch is basically overnight, the scene with Aaron at the party is still kinda of awkward, she doesnt get as much room to breathe, while almost everyone else comes off really well. Heck even the candy cane/glen coco guy did well, I was actually suprised at how differently and yet excellently the actors acted their lines, compared both to the previous movie and the musical. Auli'i is fantastic, scary Janis is *scary*. And I simultaneously want to be her best friend. (It certainly helps that her art is augmented with embroidery and she's carrying embroidery hoops in multiple scenes. Fiber arts my loves.)

When I first saw a trailer my thoughts were "ugh we dont need another movie of this," but I think Ive changed my mind. Its similar enough and different enough that for me its a good adaptation. Also - I almost forgot to say - Janis gets a girlfriend for Spring Fling. Its not a plot point, we're just montaging getting ready and Janis goes to pick her up (in the lavender suit), and Damian is taking photos with two other sapphic couples. And he gets a crush/admirer who again, is just there to be there and doesnt interfere with the main story. I might change my mind again once its had time to settle in my thoughts, but initial impression is that its a fun movie I would watch again. Maybe we want the social commentary to be more incisive than it is, and in the end it is entertainment that needs to not be too boring to hold peoples shortening attention spans. (also neutral). Maybe thats wishing for it to be a movie that its not trying to be, and thats always a recipe for disappointment and also not great or fair analysis. What a fantastic line to end on*.

Don’t shoot me but i honestly feel like those tshirts were a coincidence. We know that all the bts members have alot of similar clothes maybe because they shop from the same places or because of stylists plus they are in the same band so i have honestly never seen why those tshirts were such a big deal deal. Plus i have never wanted to acknowledge that as much because we also have an instance where Jk and JM wore the same custom rings on the same day to the same event on the same ring finger. (D’festa) Plus when Jk performed at Jimmy fallon, he had on a dior ring. So i feel like when we start giving too much meaning to stuff like similar clothes and jewelry, we get disappointed because imagine us waking up tomorrow and seeing other members with the exact same kappa sweetheart tshirt? They have same stylists, definitely get gifted a lot of stuff, etc. Jewellery especially is likely to match because stylists bring trays of same brand jewellery for them to choose from.

Plus some of the analysis of "matching" rings is comically bad.

The D'festa rings were confirmed to be the same by the actual jewellery designer on Instagram which suggests gifting to me. According to the website, they're from one of the lines that isn't custom. They specify custom for other items where Hangul characters or names are involved. Again, easily could be gifted which also could explain ring fingers. Sizing unconfirmed, etc.

Ring finger on left hand is unremarkable to me for an official schedule and they've been styled together.

So yeah, I can think of many reasons they'd match.

Sweetheart tees feel a bit different. They were from ERL. JK wore ERL in his punk outfit for Vogue and Namjoon has worn one but it's not a brand that regularly appears like Maison Margiela, Fear of God or Acne Studios, for example.

But let's assume JK was styled that way for Seven. Very likely. It's still less likely Tae was styled for Bruno Mars, a private outing.

Combined with the idea JK was supposed to go, it just feels like the coincidence is a bit too coincidental to be coincidence.

If I wake up tomorrow and I find out Jimin was wearing the Sweetheart shirt on same day in a different country, I would survive. It's not the foundation of my Taekook house.

But it doesn't seem like coincidence to me.

Hi, i really hope im not bothering you by sending a modding question... i am absolutely brand new to even thinking about modding, and i know theres a big discord out there, but ive mostly heard horror stories coming out of the community so im honestly terrified to even check it out... im just wondering if you have any idea if its feasible to make a mod of Padre's shirt for V? (The one w the sweater over a collared shirt, i feel like ive seen it on other random npcs as well) not asking you to do it or anything, but its one ive never seen in mods so idk if its already been tried by modders and everyone decided "nah this wont work". Again, so sorry if you dont want to be bugged with questions like this, you honestly just feel like one of the most approachable people ive seen in this fandom so far and trying to make any cp77 friends has proven extremely intimidating.

I can't blame you for not wanting to get your feet into big servers, it can get quite overwhelming and frustrating when nobody seems to notice you. Tho I recommend using them as modding-wiki extension! It can be useful to search for solution, plugins and softwares, discord exclusive tutorials, or catch someone's getting help for a similar problem for example. There is no need to be active :3 but no pressure ofc, just know that it's totally ok to join these servers to just lurk

Now for Padre's shirt! I won't be able to do it (not right now at least) so I'll throw infos and direction if anyone else wanna give it a try 🤏

Tho we can see its all wonky compared to a regular MA mesh, and that's because this one is specifically fitted for old' Padre (it's even in the mesh file name, _old)

To make a version useable for masc V, we'll need to combine a few meshes available in the same folder!

The bottom part: t1_078_ma_shirt__sweater_shirt.mesh

The cuffs: t1_078_ma_shirt__sweater_cuffs.mesh

And one of the two available collar: t1_078_ma_shirt__sweater_collar_01.mesh or _collar_02.mesh

All of these should already fit into one another, but if not a lil refit in blender should do the trick!

So, um. Hi, it's me again. Happy new years and I hope you like badly planned posters because I sure have one for you.

I have more thoughts, now, and I'm going to try to put most of it into a post. I tried writing a scene but it was just info dumping and not very interesting, so here's me info dumping right to you! I'm including the full character illustrations too. Hop on in and let's go cruisin

The Setting

A galaxy with wormhole pockets that allow for quick interplanetary travel. Might be magic. There's a lot of technology and a little bit of magic. Despite all the technology, no sophisticated AI has actually worked out, so there aren't androids or anything, and robots aren't super common.

The Hyrule system has one star, called Hylia after the goddess. The star has three smaller star satellites, called Din, Farore, and Nayru. Several livable planets dwell in the system:

The Plains has native Hylians and Minish. It used to be called Hyrule until the name was expanded to cover the whole system. It's mostly towns and rivered forests, with one large continent and one enormous sea dotted with islands.

Ordon is a twin planet system with native Twili on one and humans on the other. Humans came to settle after the solar system united, and are still brand new to the area

Domain is a water planet where Zora live, high in seafood exports. Shallow Zora are generally even-tempered and are the ones that interact with others most often. Deep Zora are hostile and have designed their own ships to maraud abroad, though the Shallow Zora have a tentative peace treaty with them

Other planets I haven't named yet with Rito, Gerudo, Gorons, and forest fey

Long ago, when space travel through the Hyrule system just began, an impending apocalyptic war caused the Hylians to leave their native planet on a massive ship called Skyloft. Those on the planet were subject to wars and diseases and cataclysms until only one godlike lich remained. Those on Skyloft embraced peace and established relations with other governments throughout the galaxy (and intermarried. That's important.)

Eventually, a hero appeared, and the Skyloft Hylians returned home to rebuild.

Our Characters' Stories

Okay honestly I'm not sure yet about all this, so I'll mostly keep quiet. The broad strokes are as follows—an unsuspecting Link is employed as some kind of security by a large company, tentatively named Sorcerer Enterprises. The same company directs Shadow to kidnap him. They artificially activate Link's long-dormant non-Hylian genes to induce the split, turning him into four highly malnourished people with strong elemental associations.

Conditions aren't great, but our heroes (plus Shadow, eventually, and Zelda) manage to escape and topple Sorcerer Enterprises in the process. Unfortunately, there's a bigger fish. They escape with files and information, enough to know that Ganon is out there, intending to take over the system and the galaxy. They know how to stop him, they think.

Characters!

I talked a bit about them in my earlier post, so I'll just go through the illustrations and point out the details! Please forgive the iffy quality, I was trying to be fast and not perfect, and I think it turned out all right.

Green is associated with air. He's the pilot, and also wears a lil air purifier/compressor thing because he's generally in need of more oxygen than his lungs can normally get (thus the tube thingy.) He also has rocket shoes and a cool cape. :) The thing on his arm is a portable computer, most others have them, too. The bright cyan indicates cool technology, usually.

Red is, of course, fire, and gets cold easily. He has heat-resistant work gloves and here is shown lighting an explosive. Whoops. He also has a heated sweater but I decided to not draw it this time. His boots have steel-capped toes because he bangs into things on accident a lot.

Blue is water and gets warm fast, so his clothes are lighter materials. He usually has cans of compressed water on him, along with medical supplies and rations and flashlights and spare batteries and— anyway he has some cool armor stuff and an undercut (because that feels so right.)

Vio is earth and the tech boy. His weapon is his backpack, which can pop out with a tiny little artillery post. His hair is longer but not too much longer, he hasn't had a lot of time to grow it out. That jumpsuit thingy he's wearing was designed for an alien race that has an oozelike form, it squeezes and exerts pressure evenly across the entire body. As the earth-element-aligned, he doesn't like feeling as if he'll explode.

Ngl I love Zelda's design here. She's not exactly a princess here, but she does have traces of light magic. She's also good with a gun. Her elbow and knee pads can give her a full-body shield if she needs it.

Shadow is a genetically modified clone of the original Link. They made him to be a replacement, or a nemesis, he's not sure, but he's on his way to find his own identity now. (he might go a little too far sometimes. He painted purple flames on his boots.) Is his hair fluffy enough?

Their ship isn't new, but it's not garbage, either. It's a bit small, with six of them. They have a quest!!

And those are most of the thoughts that are solid enough to share XD mostly I just drew silly art.

“We’re out of juice,” is what Ronan says when he sits down beside Gansey, legs sprawling across the floor in contrast to Gansey’s carefully-crossed ones. Their knees still touch, like Ronan has been pulled into Gansey’s orbit so completely that it extends even to his limbs, a fact of the universe written out even on the most mundane of scales.

It’s a good representation of them: Gansey, cross-legged in soft cotton sweatpants, as if the lack of visible branding will make it any less evident to someone like Ronan—or Parrish, if he were here, but he’d know that the way he always does, the differences between him and Gansey mapped out on that invisible layer Adam holds between them, the one Gansey likes to pretend doesn’t exist—that they cost at least three figures; Ronan, leaning back a little, wearing his shitty expensive jeans that Parrish hates so much, the ones that cost at least four figures and Ronan doesn’t care about the washing instructions for, the ones fraying at the knee that Ronan has pressed up against the junction of where Gansey’s knee meets thigh.

This is the truth of things: two boys who look very, very different, but are more connected than you’d think, if you look closely enough. If it’s not their eyes, it’s their knees. If it’s not their knees, it’s their souls.

Ronan’s opinion on his soul’s eternal state is a complicated thing, but the way it matches Gansey’s is never in doubt. Not to him.

A two-headed-beast, Ronan thinks, staring out at Gansey’s insomnia-driven cardboard rendition of Henrietta. Gansey says excelsior, and Ronan’s the fucking sword cutting through. Onwards and upwards, no matter what.

“What, again?” Gansey replies.

Gansey looks like shit, so Ronan tells him so instead of answering. 

He also looks like a king, handsome and regal and untouchable. He also looks like a boy, young and soft around the edges, like how ink fades with time. He also looks like everything Ronan has ever believed in, like a room in Monmouth Manufacturing and driving to the Barns and chasing down Glendower and needing help with Latin, like the gasoline-lit curve of his mouth saying the difference is we matter / dream me the world / ronan, like Ronan’s name is somehow worth holding safe in his mouth.

Ronan does not tell him any of those things.

“It’s hard to meet the standards for male beauty without juice,” Gansey remarks.

Adam says that Ronan isn’t as honest as he says he is; that telling the truth is not the same as being honest, and that Ronan might not lie, but that’s not the same thing. He says this a lot, in various ways, but especially he says it when Ronan is looking at Gansey, and Adam is watching the way they move around each other.

He’s probably right. Otherwise Ronan would tell Gansey that there’s no version of him that isn’t beautiful, and not just because of his inherited pretty face and nice clothes. It’s the kind of knowledge that just is, the sort of thing you live with and learn to move around, like how a punch to the chest leaves an ache throbbing through your entire rib cage. Ronan is bruised with it, the knowledge of all Gansey is, how impossible and exquisite and fucking fundamental he is to Ronan’s continued existence.

“Sounds like a you problem, Dick,” Ronan replies. Gansey makes a face, always hearing the capital letter when Ronan says it, and Ronan grins at him, like always. It’s a routine, this; there is a rhythm to the way they co-exist, one that had been established prior to Ronan moving into Monmouth, but has only become more entrenched in their bones in the time since. “We could get some more.”

Gansey considers this. It’s a common occurrence, these two a.m. juice runs. It’s a wonder they never realised Noah was fucking dead, honestly, considering he never came with them but never gave any indication of sleeping either.

Then again, rituals leave little room for doubt, and nights like this are a ritual for them. They always have been, even before Monmouth, and Niall Lynch’s death, and Ronan forgetting how to smile without his mouth turning into a knife. Ronan-and-Gansey, always up against the world together, whether it be ley lines and dead fathers or an inability to sleep and a lack of acceptable beverage options.

There aren’t many things Ronan relies on. Richard Gansey III—all the versions of him, including his annoying Congresswoman’s son one, and the one that holds all the wild burning pieces inside him so the other Ganseys may remain contained and safe for consumption, and the one he has right now, this teenage boy with grand goals and hair mussed from tossing and turning on his pillow before he gave up—is one of them.

Nights like this, with the Henrietta air sweet with past rain and no fucking juice in the fridge but four of Blue’s favourite yoghurt for some goddamn reason and Gansey right beside him, are another.

“Okay,” Gansey says finally, pressing his knee a little deeper into Ronan’s in a bump of warmth and acknowledgement and something that burns quietly in that part of Ronan’s chest he does his best not to name. “Let’s go get some juice.”

My work with Belial

Some art I did of them as they appear to me. Getting better at phone scan color process

A lot of people cite Belial as very strict. I don't disagree, but for me what is more prominent is just… intenseness? It's a bit hard to describe. Then again, a lot of my personal problems are rooted in perfectionism and overextending myself, so even Belial is out here telling me to sit the fuck down, that strictness manifesting instead in Work Things glitching to force me to take a damn break and take care of myself.

I think they are a very strong essence of discipline. They are good for working with if you are trying to build habits. They will kick your ass, but they will also kick everyone's ass and their own ass. They will also tell you to do this.

They present to me as aggressively gender neutral, and prefer I use the title ‘Sovereign’ instead of anything like king/queen or lord/lady. Other Gender entities I work with are more fluid than agender, so I find this fascinating.

The form they take with me is an androgynous humanoid fallen angel with short, slick dark brown hair and black wings that sometimes manifest from the lower back rather than shoulder blades. Their eyes have appeared green, brown, and red. Their clothes tend to be very minimalist and nondescript. When wanting to be spooky or intimidating they appear as something similar to a traditional grim reaper depiction or very decay oriented litch.

In my practice Belial is a primary consort of Lucifer (in addition to other common ones like Lilith, not instead of. Though I have never felt close to Lilith, likely due to her ruling a lot of femmeness that can be unfitting for my brand of transness.) I don't have the source for this, it is enforced by recent upg and such, but I originally had Belial on a list of Lucifer concerts from demonology research way back in like 2007, so I really have no concept of how common this is or isn't but it is something I had outside sources for at some point, lost to the aether as they are now.

Whatever the case I find them to be extremely protective of Lucifer. There's kinda a sworn knight vibe. They are honestly more likely to request I do something to venerate Luci than themself. I suppose it is reflective of their ‘dont do anything by halves’ energy in general- they are just as aggressive about their dedication to Lucifer as they are anything else.

Initially I was admittedly more apprehensive about approaching them than any other entity on my list of ‘people to check in with bc in hindsight I am 90% sure they reached out to me before’. From afar they seemed big and scary and intimidating and radiated that take no shit energy. I suppose if they don't have an interest in working with someone they would have no problem being blunt and telling them to fuck off, or their bluntness in general just being off-putting. (Due to my personal trauma cocktail I actually find it oddly soothing.) Approaching them was almost anticlimactic in a way- not that I'm complaining. They were curt, but very welcoming. After making contact I almost immediately stopped feeling nervous. It's sort of the same feeling as trying to approach the Scary Goth Kid in school expecting them to snap or cuss you out and instead they're just like ‘Sup. Your backpack is sick AF.’

I originally anticipated something more distant, but they are one of the entities I feel closest to. They have done a lot to help me find grounding and structure, which I suppose is why they are associated with earth. The name ‘Belial’ is rooted in a Hebrew word meaning ‘without worth', and the entity as they are known now evolved from the use of that word being personified over various translations and iterations of different texts. For me, this lends itself to their role as a patron to outcasts. I have seen others attribute to them a role as a protector to those society finds ‘worthless’, including the disabled, so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised we clicked.

Isabelle is first, because she's my main OC and also very special to me :3

Isabelle is a folklorico dancer!!! She dances with a local grupo in her town and picked it up again after completing physical therapy and letting her body heal up enough :3 She danced as a child, tho quit at around 15-16. It wasn't until the accident that put her out of her job in her 30s that she felt the desire to dance again, and vowed to pick it up once she could walk again. Her designated region is Veracruz (because it's my favorite to dance lol) but I think she does super well with most fast paced and footwork-heavy regions like Tamaulipas and Hidalgo! One of the first art pieces I made of her was her walking home from a performance in her Nuevo Leon costume, so I'm sure she dances the Nortenos very well too :3

Isaiah is a minor rodeo star, specifically a bull rider that performs and competes in local Jaripeos! He hasn't done anything large-scale, given that he's not exactly a pro and does it more for entertainment and as a hobby, but jaripeo definitely has a strong place in his heart. Even now, he and his husband Leo raise horses at home and are very active in the local Jaripeo/rodeo circuit in their area :3

Florist, having been given the name because she never knew her real name, loves gardening!! She keeps a floral shop with Viv, and while it was originally a front for Kylie's illegal stuff, now she owns it and it's a real honest floral shop full time :] Florist takes care of her plants like they're her babies, and honestly finds the activity to be soothing to her. Life just wouldn't be the same without gardening..

Elodia is the drummer in a goth band, her girlfriend is actually the front man of said band, so she has a lot of fun performing with her! She's been a very talented drummer since she was a kid, and plays very fast beats. Honestly, she gets bored with the slowrr-paced stuff and prefers the hard stuff lol :3c

Lola is a very dedicated seamstress and cook! While she does the fashion stuff at a professional level (she has her own brand line) she does keep her sewing as a hobby as well, and likes to make clothes for both her and her wife Isabelle!! Lola also enjoys cooking and baking, scooping out new recipes to try from her plethora of cook books. Beware, 90% of the meat she uses is human XD

Belladonna is a jazz performer and local model :3 she's very popular in her community and plays at a jazz club she owns every single night!! Performing is her passion and she has a voice that could move audiences to tears :3 She's sort of a known-beauty in the Brawlston lowrider scene and goes to every car show, all dressed up and ready to pose for pictures leaned against beautiful Cadillacs, courtesy of her photographer wife lol

Hey maue get to so you again. I want to ask you an Important question. What designs you feel needs a redesign? because there's this character name tinkerbell who while iconic I feel her design doesn't age well. Her design is extremely sexualize like her dress is skimpy, long flowing hair, lascivious lips, long legs and a bust. How would fix her design?

Honestly? Not sure what's really that sexual about it. She has a short skirt, sure (and the length probably would've been scandalous when the movie came out), but I've seen similar dresses on plenty of women in the summer, and like... it's not a big deal?

I've never been a fan of projecting morals onto body types or pieces of clothing. It's superficial and nonsensical to judge real women for their bodies or taste in fashion, so why judge fictional women for the same? Obviously characters don't have the same agency as real people, though, so there's a discussion to be had about the designer's motivations and thought process in drawing Tink the way he did. But implying she needs to be "fixed" because her outfit's a little revealing-? As if showing some leg is grounds for a redesign? Just kinda smacks of purity culture to me.

"But Maue", I can already hear pearl-clutchers mewling from the box seats, "this is a character in a children's movie! For children! Won't someone please think of the children??!!"

Welp, back in the 2010s, Disney released a series of 3D kids' films starring Tink herself. And wouldn't ya know it...

Her design barely changed at all. Guess they didn't see it as an issue. (Then again, this is Disney we're talking about, and those people stick to the script when it comes to their brand mascots, but still.)

I'd already aged out of this series' target demographic years before, but from what I can gather, Tink's more of a Barbie-like character in these films. More of a role model for girls instead of just "the jealous chick".

So it seems these filmmakers prioritized making Tink a more fleshed-out, sympathetic character rather than hand-wringing about her outfit. I guess you could cry to Disney about it if you really wanted to, even though I'm sure countless overprotective moms already have.

I don't even know why you think some of the qualities you listed even apply to Tinkerbell. First of all, her hair isn't "flowing"; it's tied up in a bun. Second, I'm not at all sure what "lascivious lips" means. How can lips be lascivious? Finally, you stated the fact that she has a bust as a negative, but like... literally everyone has a bust, at least if you go by the loose definition of the term. I'd also like to point out that the cultural fetishization of big boobs is utter bullshit that objectifies women who have them, but Tink's are actually pretty small in proportion to the rest of her body. Are we looking at the same picture?

It seems to me like you're projecting a lot onto this character just because you find her attractive. If you think she's sexy, that's totally fine. But sexy doesn't equal sexualized. It'd be a different story if she constantly posed in a provocative manner or was purposefully drawn with exaggerated proportions to highlight her feminine assets (like, say, Jessica Rabbit). And even if that were the case, sometimes characters who are sexualized end up doing more in the narrative than looking pretty. Sexualization isn't necessarily a bad thing; it just depends on the character and the story.

But sometimes - Le gasp! - Some characters just enjoy showing off their bodies or flaunting their sexuality, just like some people do in real life. It ain't a crime. Yes, it'd be a problem if all the female characters in a piece of media acted like this, as this would demonstrate that the media's creator sees women as interchangeable rather than individuals. But one character being a little sexual isn't the end of the world, despite what religious extremists may have you believe.

History, it plays such an integral role in everyday life and no one really notices it. Without the things, even the bad things from the past, we would not be as forward thinking as we are today. Knowing the past, not hiding the darkest parts or trying to remove the scars of that past will allow us to keep moving forward and never repeating the atrocities of the past. Our history is important... we should all remember it even those dark spots so that we never forget.

Lucifer’s Eldest Daughter Headcannons

In terms of personality, she’s a lot like Rarity from MLP. She’s got the perfect personality of a Princess, but she’s also very generous and kind.

In terms of appearance, she looks more like Lilith with her eyes and skin. She has blonde hair, but is shorter than Charlie, despite being older.

She was born in the Garden of Eden and Lucifer was still an Archangel at the time, so she has six beautiful wings, but also a Demons tail, as well as long horns like Lilith has.

She supports Charlie and her idea Hotel, but she also looks after her Father, as well as also being a fashionista and running her rival boutique. Her rival being Velvette and the two clash heads a lot.

By the way… she uses her ‘Royal Voice’ when she gets angry:

“DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!!!”

“Yes! But, I simply don’t give a shit!!!”

“HOW DARE YOU SPOUT SUCH LANGUAGE IN MY PRESENCE?!!! GET OUT OF HERE THIS INSTANT!!!”

She can very dramatic and will use her magic to bring in a sofa, for her very dramatic fall… and it doesn’t matter where she is.

She always makes sure to dress perfectly every single day… even when there’s a fight going on. The last thing she needs is to look untidy!

She even took the liberty of making her Father’s clothes when she finally got the hang of sewing. He adores every outfit she’s made for him. She even did the same for Charlie, who also loves her outfits, but wants to save them for the perfect occasion. And her sister adores that about her.

She keeps her hair in curly at all times and the one time she couldn’t find her hair curler… she… well… had a ‘teeny-tiny’ panic attack.

“WHHYYYYY?!!! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!!!”

Lucifer ran into her daughter’s room and found her lying on the bed, crying her eyes out, as mascara ran down her face. “Are you okay, sweetheart?!”

“No, Father!!! I am not!!! I can’t find my hair curler!!! And without it… I’m… OHHHHH!!! WHHHYYY ME?!!!”

Lucifer hummed and then smiled before sitting her up. “W-What…? What are you— oh!” He used his own magic to tie her hair into a ponytail before curling the ends of her hair. Then he placed a duck hair clip into her hair. “Wow~!” “I know it’s not as great as… what a hair curler does, but it’s something… right?”

“Oh, Father…! IT’S PERFECT!!! And I have the perfect outfit to go with it!!! Thank you so much!!! You’re the best Dad in all of Hell!!!”

“Oh?! R-Really…? Well… thank you”.

She understands that her Father’s depressed, so she does everything she can to cheer him up. As far as going on to make a brand new clothing line with his name on it, and which was covered in both apples and ducks. She may look a lot more like Lilith, but she’s definitely a Daddy’s Girl.

Mini Story:

“Where is she?!”, Angeldust asked.

The Hotel doors opened and Charlie’s sister walked out wearing a war outfit, as well as her crown. That’s when she said, “I apologise for my tardiness…”.

“Now… TIME TO DESTROY SOME ANGELS!!!”

Husk then said, “Wow. Can’t even cuss in this kind of situation”. “Oh hush! I have my Pride!” She stood next to Charlie and watched as the portal opened up.

Later…

“AHHHHHH!!!”

“Oh no…!!!”

She looked at her outfit and saw that it was torn. Her eyes went red, her horns came out, along with her tail. “I’LL FUCK YOU ALL UP MYSELF FOR THIS!!!”, she screamed before flying around the Exorcists and tearing them apart with her scythe. “Honestly…!”

“NONE OF YOU HAVE ANY APPRECIATION FOR FASHION!!! I’LL HAVE YOU KNOW I SPENT ALL OF LAST NIGHT MAKING EVERYONE’S OUTFITS FOR THIS BATTLE!!! YOU WILL ALL FUCKING PAY!!!”

“Whatever gets her motivated…!”, Charlie said with a slight smile. Then she gasped as one of Adam’s bolts headed straight for her. But her sister blocked it just before saying, “Seriously…? You’re such a pest…! You will NOT lay one finger on my sister, you bastard!!!”

Let’s just say, after the battle, she washed her own mouth out with soap and vowed never to swear again (which didn’t last long).

He can cook enough to feed himself and his sister. It isn’t his favorite thing to do so he rarely gets creative, but he isn’t clueless in the kitchen by any means.

It started with a crush on their friend Bello in middle school. The feelings weren’t mutual but he couldn’t deny his attraction for him and just sort of accepted his sexuality after that. He’s always been surrounded by friends who are LGBT+ so he never felt the need to hide it from himself or anyone else.
