Okay first as a disclaimer... Yeah I guess my first disclaimer was unnecessary I'm just paranoid and stuff

But on to the follow up I might not have explained myself properly or given enough context or my question was incoherent? But for context while I do like plenty of canon ships, my favorite ships tend to be MxM ships of characters who don't have canon female love interests. My fandoms tend to be fujobait/card game anime plus video games. (Honestly I kind of feel like the guy you called 'some fuck' in your answer tbh lol (Hopefully I'm not as obnoxious and arrogant as them though)).

Anyway the stuff I was mostly thinking about was stuff like the Ike/Soren defenses and the Ash Ketchum shipping wars. (Although I only read that instead of participating) But from your answer and thinking over it I realized that I had actually seen a good amount of Hassel/Brassius hint finding etc but I didn't realize it was the kind of stuff I was thinking of (probably because they weren't being defensive or worried about homophobic attacks). So yeah the kind of stuff I was asking about does exist but I just didn't realize it.

Anyway on the anti stuff... I feared that people interested in this stuff disappeared because they became antis but fortunately it seems that's not true.

I think the basic answer to some of your questions may be that:

Yes, people who like all kinds of things exist.

But if you're looking for shippers of something very specific, 99% of media and ships never generate A Fandom™ in the Destiel/Sterek/Drarry/etc. sense. Canon, not canon, slash, het: doesn't matter, most are small.

Have a look at that other recent post about what percentage of AO3 fandoms are what size.

I'm not clear on what sets what you're talking about apart from... just the average shipper on tumblr.

I don't know much about the social dynamics of Pokemon or Fire Emblem fandoms except for a vague sense that FE has the usual modern fandom full of young idiots harassing each other problems.

People do move on from particularly unpleasant fandoms... but... mostly, people just move on from everything and usually quite quickly.

The only fandoms people stay and stay and stay for are those that are generating a huge volume of new material, usually fan-made, often in the form of novel-length fic. And even then, it takes a specific fannish personality type to stick to one particular ship or fandom for ages. There are people still shipping those two dudes from The Professionals and nobody else, but they're a rare breed.

I haven’t read in ages :( I’ve been stuck with the Shadow and Bone trilogy for too long now, so I was thinking of giving the second book one last chance and if I can’t get through it skip to the Six of Crow duology. I’ve tried to read silly romcom books but I can’t get into them so rip me. I just don’t have much time and lately, it wears me out every time I try to focus on pages, my attention span really sucks so yeah. (that’s why I can’t believe some of you sit through my 40k-long stories without the need to interrupt, and that's why it takes me so long to edit because I can't stay still on the ps before I get bored or distracted)

And I don’t read ff anymore, only a few now and then. My favorite fic of all time is actually on ao3 but it’s an mxm and it’s not even complete (technically, you know how it ends because the first part is from the present and then the remaining stories are about the past) Anyway it’s this one. I love everything from this author tbh, I haven’t read their latest works, but the first ones? Chef’s kisses. On here, I love the Jaehyun’s fic ‘devoted’, I think it was one of the first I’ve ever read when I started being on tumblr and I still love it to this day even if it’s not complete. There are definitely some others but when I tell you I can’t remember shit I mean it ☠️ also I used to mostly read short drabble/stories so probably that’s why I don’t remember them.

My inspiration comes from music 90% of the time or just my silly personal delusions and made-up scenarios. And sometimes from series, like ‘Bridgerton’ helped me a lot in finishing amami ancora (but the first parts weren’t inspired by that) and I put a lot of ‘Fleabag’ in the hits different mc without even realizing (because I am too obsessed with that series rip). In shattered glasses there was a bit of inspiration from ‘You’ to write Jeno. And I also pour a lot of personal stuff in certain stories and scenes, but it’s mostly to build characters, I just feel more comfortable writing things I relate to/I've been through. And that’s it, I guess?

oooh that’s a good question 🤭🤭🤭 i feel like certain ships would be popular than others, but others may not be… like you said, sunsun, sunki and jaywon are super popular, and i feel like the mila ships on par with that level of popularity (or more) would be miseung and mihoon, while other mila ships may be popular but not quite as much of that makes sense 🎀 ig overall tho, the mxm ships may have more content tho since they don’t have to be quite as careful as mila does with the boys for a dating scandal (since like you said, it’s a mostly hetero world) ✨✨

Post length

My post length is generally around three to five paragraphs, but seeing how others roleplay, I feel I do things differently. I have to admit I am fairly new to roleplaying, and so how I respond may not be the ‘right’ way to respond. If so, I appreciate any and all feedback you may have. I can't get better unless I know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it.

Schedule

My schedule is a bit complex because I have schooling, therapy, and family bonding time that I attend to weekly. I can reply at least three to four times a week, so usually every other day. But please be patient and don't spam my DMs with messages of how I’m keeping you waiting. I promise it's not on purpose, I just have a life outside of writing and would appreciate respect for it.

Literacy expectations

My literacy expectations are at least two to three paragraphs minimum. I value quality over quantity, though, so keep that in mind. While I do prefer my partner’s grammar to be correct, I know some roleplayers don't have english as their first language, and in regards to that, I don't expect top-notch literary or grammar. But I dislike acronyms like “lol”, “tbh”, or etc. If we’re talking OOC, I absolutely don't mind it, but when roleplaying, I prefer the story being how you would read a book, if that makes more sense.

Genres/tropes

I enjoy mostly any genres, and some I haven't had the pleasure of writing just yet. Genres I’ve done so far are Fantasy, Crime, Romance, Drama, Slice of life, and Modern. I know there’s tons of other genres I haven't tried yet, and will be looking forward to doing should that be a preference for my partner. One thing I always ask for in a roleplay is for romance to be included. I have to admit I’m a sucker for it and might get bored if the whole story is purely platonic and there’s no relationship forming between characters. That is just a preference, if you do have a problem with smut then I might not be the partner for you. But I thank you for reading into this thus far

On the topic of porn, do you have any twitter recommendations? It's really hard to find good MXF or FXF stuff on there. MXM is easy because there are entire accounts dedicated to like cucking lmao but I haven't been able to find that for stuff with women and since I do consider myself a lesbian, that's frustrating.

I don’t use Twitter for porn tbh - I mostly watch Pornhub or if I’m like feeling like I want to watch some very specific scenario then I’ll just Google that scenario but mostly I just watch on Pornhub. Good FxF porn is very hard to find anywhere tbh. It’s usually very shitty. What I’ve found sometimes improves it is FFM threesome videos lol but you have to look for good ones - I’ve just found more good ones of those than good ones with just girls and I mean like the girl on girl stuff is better in them like you get better pussy eating and shit in threesome videos than in most regular FF porn where it’s sorta just sensual rather than like idk gay. tbh this rule is not very set in stone. It depends on the request whether or not I’ll write it. if it’s a yandere scenario then I’m more liable to accept, but I will not just write about a reader c*tting themselves for the main plot of a scenario.

I will not go into detail about race or body type unless it’s specifically relevant to the scenario:

this may need a bit more explaining so feel free to ask what’s okay, but generally I like to make every reader feel included so I never go into detail of appearance or race. In all headcanons, I provide instances of different hair types, skin colors, and such. if I don’t know much about what you’re requesting, I will have poc!reader blog recommendations in my abt page. that ofc would only be if I don’t know much about a certain culture to give you what you’re asking for :)
