Yesterday we spent the day in glorious Genoa. Here are some pictures of the Duomo. During WWII a British bomb fell through the roof and crushed it, but luckily it didn’t detonate and most of the medieval structure survived. Had the munition exploded, the whole cathedral would have been razed to the ground.
