November 2011 - Naruto - ItaSakuKaka - Random scenes from “Incomplete”

In no particular order.

 “Hello, tall, dark, and manipulative,” Ino’s eyebrow rose saucily as she slid into the seat across from her prey. They were alone in a team-debriefing room he’d settled in to write his report. Perfect for her.

The Uchiha looked up from his mission report—closing it as he did so—and debated how much attention he should accord his flatterer. While some may dismiss Inoichi’s daughter, Itachi was well aware of how clever and resourceful she could be, and reasoned she would not bother accosting him without a purpose. She was also reputed to be incredibly adept at her role as an interrogator. She had his attention.

“Were you an ANBU, you would be disciplined for your lack of respect in address, Yamanaka.”

“And you do know about rules, don’t you? Especially bending them,” she replied with a smile. She leaned forward, resting her elbow on the tabletop, her chin in her palm as she watched him thoughtfully.

“What I am trying to figure out, is why.”

Itachi held her gaze a moment, waiting to see if she would continue. He didn’t respond, though. If she wanted information, she would need to ask far more directly, or at least give something else of her own away first. While he was not stationed there permanently like Yamanako Ino, he had spent time in the Torture and Interrogation division, and was familiar with their protocols. So far, she was behaving predictably enough.

"I've been watching for a while now, Uchiha."

“I had not realized I fascinated you.”

“You and that brother of yours fascinate every woman in Konoha,” she grinned back unabashedly. “But I’m more interested in your recent fascination with someone else.”

“Is my being fascinated by someone or something really so far-fetched?”

Ino sighed, shaking her head slightly in her palm. She continued staring at him, now somewhat more knowingly.

“See, I don’t think so. Surprising to a degree, but knowing what I do, not too much so. No, it’s not the who, it’s the what.”

“Come again?”

“The circumstances. Why would you go to so much trouble for someone who can’t reciprocate?”

Itachi felt his blood run cold.

--and somehow, this, Yamanaka Ino sensed immediately.

“… unless you didn’t know?...” she murmured, awestruck.

 Bits and pieces to that ItaSakuKaka I work on from time to time...

“Welcome, welcome. Please, join me in my office.”

“Of course,” replied Itachi with a faint bow of respect, following the daimyo as he led them further into his residence.

“Did you and your husband enjoy safe travels?” inquired the daimyo, turning slightly to scrutinize the lovely, dark-haired woman who adorned the Uchiha’s arm.

“None that upset our journey overmuch,” she replied politely, her lips pulling into a small smile.

“I see,” was all he said, showing he understood clearly what they would not state aloud. Yes, they had been targeted and attacked, but they had handled the threats and arrived safely regardless.

“You received my letters, prior to your leaving?”

“Yes, we are well aware of the conditions, milord.” In Uchiha-daimyo code: Yes, they’d been briefed by the Hokage before they left.

“Good, good,” he said, and the ‘wife’ recognized the hints of exhaustion which laced his tone.

Finally, they arrived at his personal office and he closed and locked the door behind him, then signaled Itachi who had already understood the silent request for a soundproofing jutsu. The dark-haired man nodded once when he’d secured the room, and the daimyo slumped into an oversize leather-back chair, his entire demeanour changing to that of a hopeless man.

“Is it true?” he asked hoarsely.

“Yes,” assured Itachi calmly. “The Hokage did not feel you were overreacting, and she has sent us to assist you in every way we can.”

“We?” repeated the weary man.

“The Hokage felt the severity of your situation warranted a bit of extra security, or insurance. As you had already confirmed cost was no object, you now have on staff a veteran strategic consultant,” Itachi tipped his head, and then turned to the young woman at his side, sliding his arm from hers to place a hand at the small of her back. “You also have a demolition expert, diplomat, poison specialist, and the top medic in all the shinobi nations.” At this introduction, the lovely woman let her dark hair fade to bubblegum pink, and she bowed forward.

“May I introduce my partner, the Hokage’s own apprentice, Haruno Sakura.”

“Pleased to be of service, milord.”

The room was quiet as he sized the pair up. Of course, their reputations preceded them, but this was both an advantage and disadvantage—hence why both had travelled under henge. It was a testament to the spy network operating under the daimyo's nose that despite their hidden identities--or perhaps because of, though that was still to be determined--that they had still been attacked in an attempt to thwart their arrival at the castle.

“Please don’t take this the wrong way,” the gentleman said finally, “But if Lady Tsunade sent both of you, then I really must be in trouble,” he sighed, and Sakura sensed he was trying to subdue the urge to rub his hands across his face.

“The Hokage had hoped to put your mind at ease by sending us to assist you, that is all, sir.”

Fingers trailing around his hip made him shiver - or maybe that was the warm breath on the back of his neck as soft lips pressed kisses against the top of his spine. Or it also could have been the hands trailing up his inner thighs just to pull away teasingly before they could brush against where he most wanted them.

“Is it my birthday early?” Itachi mumbled. He heard Sakura chuckle lightly behind him but it was Kakashi who answered, lifting his head from where he had been trailing his mouth against the inside of Itachi’s knee, sensual but still more of a tease than anything else. 

“Maa, do we have to wait for a special occasion to treat you nicely?”

“Well I certainly can’t remember doing anything to deserve this recently.” His eyes fell closed when Sakura pressed up against him, bare breasts soft against the skin of his back.

“We missed you,” she whispered.

Itachi hummed in agreement. Three weeks was too long to be away on a mission; he had missed them as well. While the two of them had been happily ensconced at home together he had been dragging his team through the mud and muck of Kiri in rain season.

Come to think of it, this was definitely the sort of reward he deserved for that.

“If you’re going to treat me nicely then I suggest you get on with it before I grow bored with you both.” He smirked at the roll of Kakashi’s eyes. They both knew very well he could never get bored of them.

“Alright, have it your way,” the man between his knees mumbled.

He cried out as Kakashi’s mouth slipped over the tip of his cock, head falling back to rest against Sakura’s chest and sliding one hand back at an awkward angle until he found her center. She groaned and rocked against his questing fingers in a way that never failed to send a rush of heat through his veins.

“I’m home now,” Itachi choked out. He was always home when he was with them, no matter where they were.

My headcanon rn: Kakashi and Itachi are teammates for a long time now but suddenly a pink-haired kunoichi joins their squad. They are 19, free & horny and I can already imagine writing all the making out and smut between the three of them (mind you, I started writing teacher!Sakura and students!Kakashi and Itachi, but i want to get my head around this one as soon as possible)

Everything she writes is great. A/B/O and MadaSaku/ItaSaku. The conflict and posturing between them always draws me into the story. I particularly enjoy the darker story lines with multiple pairings as they have the best drama and suspense.

Undercover, Soulmates, Immortal   ShiSaku Whatever you are inspired to write.  But you are an exceptional world builder, so I love when you explore totally different AUs like the warring states period. "Sakura x Itachi or Madara or Tobirama

I like the AUs more than the canon " What they enjoy!! ItaSaku. I’d like to see continuation on existing stories If possible- or if it isn’t just letting fans know that fic is abandoned. However time is precious and I am always grateful for the content we are given!

Everything she writes is awesome N/A, it's all good. I have a definite preference for certain pairings but I'll never say that someone should write less of others. ??? KakaSaku Nothing!  That’s a crazy question! Literally nothing. Keep writing forever. What they don’t enjoy!! MadaSaku. Sorry it's like reading a grandfather perving on his granddaughter. Lord knows I tried getting into it. Non con is a tough one where Sakura doesn’t have all the facts to be a true nonconsenting party- although I realize there is a market for non con and morally gray fics and you do them exceptionally well. This is more a, “it’s me, not you” thing though that I wrestle with

None, because she's doing great from what I can see and I don't know enough about what happens in her life to say anything. Thanks for everything. Cliffhangers are great for building up suspense, but it's a little disheartening to see them on fics that haven't been updated in a long time. That said, I completely understand that fics don't always work out and that inspiration comes and goes.

At this point I believe anything you choose to write will be happily received by most but will make quite a few ecstatic.
