You sat nervously in front of the computer, joining Max Fewtrell's Twitch stream for the first time. You and Max had become close friends fast, thanks to your secret relationship with Lando Norris. Due to you being often alone for a few weeks in a row sometimes, you and Max often hung out when Lando was busy with Formula 1 commitments.

You were often busy studying to get your masters degree. You sometimes needed to stay behind on all the fun you could have by joining Lando and travelling with him but you needed to study so you could keep your scholarship.

“Hi guys! Welcome back to the stream! Today we have a guest who will be joining us, my good friend Y/N. Say hi to her chat!” said Max starting his stream.

The stream started surprisingly well. The chat didn’t payed much attention to you at first, even tho Max made sure that your presence is known. They were very busy trying to get Max to respond to their questions. It took them about 10 minutes to actually acknowledge your presence and then the hell got loose. The chat was flying with questions about who you were and why were you there. Speculations about the relationship between you and Max, people asking where Pietra was and why were you there instead of her were all you could read.

*Chatuser: who is that?

*Chatuser: where is P?

*Chatuser: is she your new gf?

*Chatuser: why is she here?

Max, being the lovely person he is tried very politely to respond to as many questions as he could.

“Guys, as I said, this is my friend Y/n and she will be joining us for today’s stream so be nice chat”

To your surprise, the stream went pretty smoothly from then on. As you chatted and laughed on the stream, the chat kept buzzing with speculations about you and Max being more than just friends. With each new viewer the subject of who you were and what was your business with Max kept repeating over and over again. You then started to blush at the comments, unsure of how to respond.

You weren’t used to being in the spotlight, one of the reasons why you and Lando were keeping things a secret. Unlike them, you weren’t trained to respond in front of cameras, how to respond to personal questions as politely as possible without actually answering them. You were totally unprepared and in that exact moment you hated yourself for letting Max convince you to join him.

You strongly disagreed to his proposal about the stream, not even Lando could convince you to join him but after Max repeatedly asking for you to join you changed your mind and agreed to do it.

Don’t get me wrong, there was nothing you wanted more than to stream with your boyfriend. Seeing him become a chaotic storm, watching his eyes light up whenever he would get a sub or have fun. There was nothing more you wanted that to hear his loud laughs and frustrated screams whenever he was gaming. You wanted to be a part of it but you couldn’t.

You were a very shy and awkward person around strangers and knowing there were thousands of people watching you didn’t sound pleasing to you, but you wanted to change that. You wanted to become more comfortable in front of the camera so you could be all the way in, in your relationship. You wanted to be more comfortable with the fans before you would announce your relationship with Lando and join him around the world. You wanted to make sure they liked you.

Meanwhile, Lando was on his way home from the airport, having just returned from the last race weekend of the season. He got bored on the uber drive and he decided to tune into Max's stream to see what was he getting up to. He was surprised to see his girlfriend on the screen. He often tried to convince you to join him on the streams but you just didn’t agree with him. He didn’t want to push you to do it knowing how shy you can get but what he didn’t understand was why did you accepted Max’s offer instead of his. He just stood there, surprised and confused, watching in silence as the chat filled with ship names and teasing messages about you and Max.

His jealousy flared, and he couldn't help himself. When he finally arrived home, he payed the driver, quickly took his bags and he burst into the house. He left all his things by the door and ran to the room you were in. He opened the door loudly, surprising both you and Max, causing you to jump in your seat.

Lando didn't waste a moment. He quickly approached you without saying a word. When he got in front of you, he cupped your face and he leaned in and planted a passionate kiss on your lips right in front of the camera. The chat went wild, emojis and exclamation marks flooding the screen. Everyone was stunned not knowing what the hell was going on.

*Chatuser: what just happened?

*Chatuser: did lando just kissed y/n?

*Chatuser: 😱

You were petrified at first, your eyes wide as you tried to process what was happening, but then you slowly melted into the kiss, your hand finding its way to the back of Lando's neck. You missed the way his lips felt on yours, the way his hands cupped your face, his thumb slowly brushing your cheek. You were addicted to his kiss. You were addicted to him. It was a brief moment, but it felt like an eternity in front of thousands of viewers. Time just stopped whenever he was near you.

When you finally pulled apart, Lando realized what he had just done. He looked at you with wide eyes and pink cheeks as he was trying to think his next move. He chuckled nervously and helped you to your feet, settling you on his lap as he took your place in front of the camera.

"Hey, everyone," Lando began, trying to hide his embarrassment. "I guess I should explain what just happened." He glanced at you, who was still blushing furiously. You got all shy and he knew it.

“So as you most likely saw, I kissed Y/n. Well that would be scandalous in different circumstances but the truth is that Y/N and I have been dating for the past year. Well, I hope we still are after that stunt I pulled” he said chuckling and he looked at you for reassurance.

“We decided not to make it public due to the fact that Y/N gets a bit shy around strangers and I wanted to make sure that she is as comfortable as possible in this relationship.” He said giving you a small smile

The chat went crazy about all that was happening. Not only did they witness a very private and intimate moment between the two of you, but they also got to see the way Lando looked at you while he was trying to explain the situation.

*Chatuser: the way he looks at her trying to make sure she’s comfortable 😫

*Chatuser: can they be any cuter?

*Chatuser: God it’s me again…

Max was sitting quietly next to you, only making his presence known with small chuckles as he read the chat. He patiently waited for you to finish your conversation before he could actually start teasing his dear friend.

You stayed quiet as well, giving small smiles to the camera trying not to seem rude. You read the comments as well, smiling even wider as you saw how nice and accepting the fans were to you so you decided to make your presence known by teasing your boyfriend.

You leaned in and whispered to Lando, "You couldn't handle the chat teasing us, could you?"

Lando laughed, brushing a strand of hair from your face. "I guess not," he admitted. “ You know I don’t like sharing whats mine” he said playfully.

You looked at him amused and decided to keep teasing him. “I mean, Max is quite charming today I’m not gonna lie” you made a small pause looking at the way his brows frowned “…but you know I only got my eyes on you, right?

You smiled looking at him, your heart swelling with love. You just adore him in ways you didn’t even know that was possible until you met him.

He looked at you with love in his eyes, trying to memorise the way you look, and answered with a simple “I know my love! I only got my eyes on you as well” he said lovingly.

The chat continued to explode with comments, but now it was filled with hearts and messages of support for the couple. Max, who had been silently watching the whole exchange, grinned and gave them a thumbs-up.

“You know guys, if I knew I had to watch you being grossly cute again I wouldn’t have let Y/n join me” said Max earning a light slap on the shoulder from you.

“Oh shut it Max… It’s not like you don’t do the same” you said rolling your eyes giggling at how chill your friend was.

“So what are we gonna do know?” Asked Max trying to change the subject while it was still in a respectful state.

“How about you guys go play something while I’ll go find P?” You said slowly standing up from Lando’s lap ignoring his protests.

“Fine we will play something. You can go and gossip with P now but first give me a kiss” said Lando trying to look as cool as possible.

You leaned in and pecked his lips one more time before slowly walking towards the door. Lando groaned as he didn’t got the kiss he was hoping for, making you giggle.

The boys went back to the stream playing games and causing chaos as they usually do while ypu and P enjoyed some quality talks while drinking some tea.

You never would’ve thought that this would be the way the world would find out about your relationship and you definitely didn’t expect the fans to be so nice about it. At the end of the day you were really grateful that Lando did what he did knowing that you now could stop hiding your love.

yourinstagram im sorry its taken me so long to show up. i thought time would give me the ability to find some words to say, but as it turns out im much better at telling things through a camera than through a pen (or a keyboard, in this case). when i posted my first video on youtube, all i wanted was to find myself again after finally getting free from a relationship that drained the fun out of me. making movies is something that ive always been passionate about, so i thought — why not? three months later, when i posted my first video at a concert, all i wanted was to tell the story of a woman who, after raising two kids and giving everything she had to make everyone around her happy and safe, finally had the opportunity to make one of her most “innocent” dreams (seeing shania twain) come true. fast forward to this week, as i post my latest video all i want is to tell the story of a man who has the entire world in the palm of his hand and yet lives his life as if he’s merely another ordinary soul on earth. what happens now, and what you do with this story (or with any other ive already told), its not up to me anymore. 

that all being said, thank you harry for trusting me with this story. it wasn’t mine to tell, but you allowed me to do it anyway and i’ll always be grateful for that. so, again, thank you.

"Are we seriously going to do this?" You asked him still in a safe distance from his house. "Yeah, wanna back out?" He said as he looked at you like you were stupid. "No! "Look," he said walking towards you with his hands in the pockets of his jeans. "I'll take care of it, okay? you just relax and lay down." Your mind went crazy thinking about all the things that could go wrong. "So, are you in yes or no?" He stopped right in front of you and looked directly into your eyes. His face was close enough for you to smell the mint from his breath. Everything was going after Plan but why did this still feel so..weird? you dont know if L is the only one watching this. you could only hope. you closed your eyes trying enjoying his touch and warmth as he kissed you softly. "let me show you something, babe." you hummed in response. His fingers which were playing with the ends of your hair slowly moved up to your body . since the season has ended, gavi started to do live streams on twitch, sometimes playing games or just chilling and chatting with the fans. it was 2 weeks since he started doing this, you were at the kitchen making some sandwiches for him, once it was done you headed to his "new studio" (an empty room with no use before), just at that moment realizing that he was, actually, doing live.

he noticed you in the room few moments after with a little smile, taking off his headphones and looking at you. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were already recording, I came to give you a snack..." being said in a whisper.

"hey, that's okay amor, wanna come and say hi? seguro que les gustará " he said while giving his hand, as a small gesture of courage, which was gladly accepted. you sat down as he placed another chair there, moving closer to the camera as he took the plate and put on the table, starting to introduce you to the audience. "as you all may know, this is mi nena, y/n. she doesn't appear on the streams because of her schedule and shyness, but now she's on vacation! and i will make her play with us" he said with a lot of excitement, placing your hand in his lap, fingers intertwined.

"hello! its good to be here with you all." pablo smiled even more, continuing with the stream while eating and talking. "esto es muy bueno! thank you, bebé" he left a kiss on your cheek, making the chat go crazy.

after talking about the vacation, his training seasons and some video games, like valorant, you decided that it was time to leave, but before you could get up, he held your wrist, stopping you to go. "where are you going amor?" "im going to the living room, this chair is a little uncomfortable and..." he took the chair away before you could finish the sentence and pulled you gently by the arm.

"c'mere, you can seat in my lap until I'm done, vale?" you blushed slightly remembering the camera in front of us, but i complied with his request, sitting on his lap and resting my head on his shoulder. he placed a kiss on the top of your head and started stroking your hair. "what are we going to do now?" "hmm, let's go with the valorant topic again as the game starts" you nodded and started discussing about the gameplay and which agent was better, coming to a consensus on Sage, while choosing who to use.

hours passed away fast, and he finished the stream, saying goodbye to the viewers and turning the computer off, when everything was done, he looked at you and went back to stroking my hair, now resting his head on your shoulder. "thank you for participating in the stream" he said while smiling. "i would do everything for you"

being a sports journalist had its perks, i mean.. it’s not everyday where you get to meet all of these famous athletes. before you got all of the interviewing jobs, you became slightly inclined towards volleyball. whether it was women’s volleyball or men’s, you were interested in how their minds worked, hence why you loved interviewing them. you did more broadcast journalism, and not classic journalism. 

now, you’ve been accepted to interview one of the men’s national volleyball team's setters, and the jackals’ setter: atsumu miya. 

it was a post-game interview, so quick and fast paced was the label for it. setters were interesting. being the brains of the team was something that wasn’t for everyone. 

you sigh to yourself as you stand in the vicinity of the game. it was a fast paced game. you noticed the relationship atsumu had with his teammates. he seemed to have their back, even when times were rough. but.. that wasn’t the case. you clearly saw the outcome of the game, even if it was just the first set. 

it was 7:49, and now you’re internally groaning to yourself as you walk up to the cameras. you swore you were used to the whole process, but you had a gut feeling about atsumu. you smile at the cameraman as he hands you the microphone. and of course, he’s walking up to you. he waves his teammates off, and he looks at you and the cameraman. 

“we’ll be live in just a moment.” you say plainly as you adjust yourself in front of the camera. atsumu didn’t like that. why? simply put, he wanted the cute interviewer's attention. 

“where’s the other interviewer — the old guy?” he asks as you look up at him. you blink and you raise an eyebrow.

“i'm sorry..?” you ask, a bit confused at his random question. there was no other interviewer, hell, no one even took up this job because they were too scared to talk to a professional volleyball player. 

“…i dunno.” you mumble as the cameraman starts counting down. you sigh as you go through the questions in your head. you look up at him and smile, indicating you were live.

“so, atsumu miya! many people always mix up you and your twin brother, considering you two live in the same city. how does that make you feel?” you ask, putting on a front. you could’ve sworn you saw his eyes wandering, but you didn’t say anything. you blink twice, confused as to why he’s silent.

“…i dunno.” he mumbles, seemingly mocking your statement that you said before you two were live. there was a cocky smile on his face -one that you truly hated. you kept up your front and you didn't push the question.

“okay then…!” you say in your cheeky television voice. you swallow back the need to just walk off, and you continue with the conversation. 

“you and shoyo hinata seem really close! why is that?” you ask politely, not wanting to cause any big issues. you move the microphone to his mouth, and he looks down at you. he smiles and he takes the microphone from you, his fingers wrapping around yours. you swore to keep your cool, but your frown didn’t show that. he leans down to answer your question, holding eye contact with you the entire time.

“mm? well, im his setter. shouldn’t i be close with the guy i'm setting to?” he asks condescendingly. you just chuckle and you nod.

“ah.. um, yes..?” you say as you basically yank the microphone back from his grasp. the interview went on like that: fighting over the microphone like cats and dogs. after the cameraman showed that the two of you were over, you just groan loudly.

he wipes some of his sweat from his forehead with the bottom of his jersey, showing his.. well, clearly built body. you were pissed off at the guy you just met, but god, he was hot. 

“what.. what the hell, dude..?” you ask bluntly, looking up at him as the cameraman scurries away. 

“i'm sorry…?” he asks once again, imitating you. you blink as you realize his stupid mocking voice.

“what did i ever do to you..?” you ask in a half grumble, half whine. you knew you were going to get your ear chewed off when you went back to the office tomorrow. the defeated look that your body posture showed spoke volumes for him. he went to stand in front of you, the same stupid smile on his face. he puts his hands on his hips and he shrugs. 

“ya didn’t say hi to me properly, cutie. i felt so unwelcome, i couldn't answer those questions properly..” he says in a half-dramatic half teasing voice. so this was your fault? you stare at him with a dumbfounded expression, ignoring the pet name he gave you. 

“oh.. my god.” you mutter, a bit pissed off at him. you scoff and you take a couple steps back.

“you’re a baby, atsumu miya.” you say bluntly as you start to head out, leaving him with a dumbfounded expression now. you didn't care if it was disrespectful to leave a professional like that, but this was his home court. he could navigate his way around. 

you sigh to yourself as you step out of your boss’s office, a frown eminent on your lips. your phone was ringing, which was kind of odd considering you took work seriously, so everyone knew to not call you during work hours. it was an unknown number, interesting. being upset with the entire interview situation, you pick up, wondering if it’ll add onto your bad mood.

“hi, cutie.” is all you can hear from the other side of the line. you want to grumble and scream in the middle of the news room, but you don't. because the unknown caller that you so happened to know speaks once more.

“next game, i want you to interview me again. i’ll treat you out to dinner for all the problems i caused.” he states. atsumu miya was a conceited, arrogant bastard in your mind. so why was this bastard saying that he’d treat you out? you swallow silently, keeping your cool so none of your co-workers tease you.

“..fine.” you mumble, not bothering to confirm if it was atsumu and how he got your number. you head over to your desk, sinking into the uncomfortable office chair. he hung up first. it was a quick call, more like he demanded you to interview him so he could fix his mistakes. 

wait. you just bagged a date with a hot volleyball player? every single thought of unimaginable things were becoming, well, imaginable. maybe this little dinner would be something memorable. 

you knew it was. why? simply put, the setter has his ways to get with his type. and you were his type.
