Every week we get a new layer of why Tim and Lucy work as a couple so well. This week was no exception. With Lucy recruiting her friends to come help her get Tim a better job. Including doing Smitty a favor to seal it. The slow burn we had for them has more than paid off IMO. Its proof every week we get to watch them. I’m honestly not sure why some are wanting more angst. We legit just got them. Also we had our angst early on this season. It was good and useful angst too. The best kind. It had its purpose and I enjoyed it immensely. It was productive. They don’t need lazy angst just to give them problems for no reason. They’re proving what a healthy relationship looks like. To be properly loved and respected by your partner. It reminds me of Castle and Beckett. One of the reasons I loved them so very much was they were one and done. The show continued around them as a couple. There was no unnecessary angst (except s8 but that’s whole another story if you watched it lol )

They just evolved and grew as a couple and characters together. That’s what’s happening with Tim and Lucy. It is possible to have your couple without unnecessary complications. Will they have bumps along the way? Of course that’s real life. But we’re watching them develop like a normal healthy couple. They can have challenges sure. To me the best part of them being together is they can face those things together, head on like the power couple we know they are. They’ve both grown so damn much since s1. Now they’re together. This is the fruits of that labor. Enjoy it. I sure as hell am. I can’t wait to see what else is to come for them.❤️

Well that was a fantastic ep. I wasn’t sure how I would feel with them interviewing them separately. But it worked and had their same banter just in different shots after each other. Lucy being the Ray of sunshine but also defensive, when it came to questions about Tim and their relationship. My favorite part of course was the final scene. Where they are interviewed together. Tim getting so riled up when the filmmaker was trying to make a connection between them and Jake/Sava.

He’s so incensed I loved it. Like ‘How dare you. We are nothing like them. This is my person. ‘All Lucy has to do is touch his arm. Center him. But she also was beaming like crazy when he was going off on them. LOL Proud to watch him defend their relationship. Her saying ‘You haven’t been paying attention have you?’ I feel that way with anyone who’s complained about them not having ‘enough’ this season. Like haven’t you been watching the same season as me? Do you not see the beautiful relationship we’ve been given? Her saying they’re in a beautiful place. my heart. They really are. The way she looked at him when she said that. ❤️ The way he melts for only her. He’s a softie but only for his girl.

They were the most married they’ve been in this interview together. I did love they were a United Front against the filmmaker. He definitely hit a nerve with Tim. Him going off and her soothing him was the best. With just a few simple touches. Her ushering him out the door for sushi was too funny. Such a wifey move. Whenever they are in a scene together it’s just magic. No matter the content. This season has been incredible for so many reasons. I say this every time we get a new ep, but I can not wait to see what else this season has in store. We’ve been quite spoiled and I’m ready for more.

Oh my lord. Look at them. ABC giving us a bone during this Chenford hiatus. They know exactly how to get us all riled up and excited. Seriously give the person who runs this page a raise. We’re all thirsty and they’re giving us some amazing content. I’m so very here for this. I needed this today LOL

What a ride that episode was. My goodness if you aren’t satisfied with what we just got. I can’t help you LOL First so love me some morning Chenford. Seeing Tim in his PJs getting coffee and telling her about his night, her waiting up for him in hopes of seeing him. Her calling him babe and wanting to soothe his wound. I loved how damn proud he looked when Lucy told him Harper/Angela were backing her for detective. He was beaming with pride. Being supportive, knowing she will not only ace her test but get in top 12. No doubt in his mind his girl is in.

What I loved most about this scene (other than the sweet morning kiss we got) how she seemed so bummed and worried about seeing each other less but Tim was positive and saying it would be ok. They would be alright and work it out. His little wink. Him being the positive one and her being worried and unsure. Who is this man? Haha What a switch. Such a change in him it’s unreal. Blows me away anytime I see it. Said this before, him being truly and unconditionally loved by Lucy just radiates from him. It shows every week and makes me so happy.

Other thing I loved in this ep. The way Lucy worried about him after he shot Joel. The minute she saw him get released it was instinct to reach out and absorb his pain and anguish. To help, encourage and lift him back up in a way only she can. Did love Harper telling her to hang back and let him talk to Grey first. Tim tearing up in his office got me good. Eric you crushed that scene sir. my heart. All could think about was how wanted Lucy to take all that away for Tim.

The hallway scene was so so good. We got primo PDA of her not only holding onto his arm but giving him sweet rubs. Trying to soothe the raging emotions running through his body. Tim being bristly at first then her looking at him saying she just wanting to help. He immediately melts and reverts back to soft Tim. Knowing all she ever wants to do is help him. The sweet touches he does in reply cloud 9 goodness. Also him wanting to help her right back with her studying. Not only help her but compliments her by saying he couldn’t have done it without her. That sassy you owe me and his reply heh. Unreal we have to wait three weeks for the next one, but once again I am very satisfied with their trajectory this season. This whole ep was. ❤️ Eric and Melissa are a treasure.

Whew. A lot to unpack from that episode. My word. Let’s start with that lovely pancake scene. It was so worth the 3 week wait to watch it . The closeness, flirting, kisses and second kisses. I do love we’re still in that honey moon stage with them in a way. They’re just still so stupid happy to be around one another. Can’t get enough of each other. Even though Tamara interrupted them and Tim was so happy to feed her. They’re the cutest little patch work family and I love it. The shower comment? Phew lord. They had some morning fun and we’re planning to have more till Tamara woke up ha

Tamara’s instant protection made me smile. Lucy scolding her only spurning her on. I was dying. I have to say I LOVE the scenes we’ve been getting this season with Harper/Lucy. How far those two have come. How Nyla looks out for her and has been few times this season. Making sure Lucy is ok. Checking in that she remembers Tim has moved on. Making sure she knows that. Really have enjoyed their dynamic this year. Tamara coming up after sealed the deal for how great that scene was. Too funny.

Something I loved about the scene in the truck with Isabel and Lucy was Lucy’s confidence. Not in UC. But in her relationship with Tim. Isabel thinks she’s shut off mics for that. Lucy’s answer how she has him figured out. That it wasn’t necessary. Her asking for UC advice was a clear foreshadowing of the final scene for them. Lucy is making sure it’s worth it. She’s having doubts and doesn’t want Tim to hear that. IMO. Also didn’t hate her calling Tim babe in front of Isabel ha

That finale scene in her apt phew. What got me is they’re both putting on brave faces when it comes to her possible UC career. When really they should be facing this issue together. Talking it out together. It’s currently the elephant in the room for them. They love each other so much they don’t want to discourage the other. Tim refuses not to be supportive and dissuade her choice to be in UC. He’s fighting back his clear discomfort and fear about it. It’s showing. She can see it. Why she mentions she’s worried about him.

To me She is trying to put up a brave front for him. Telling him she isn’t worried about it. When I truly think she is, and she’s not being completely honest with herself. Doesn’t want him to see that she’s having doubts about it. Because that convo she had with Isabel showed that. She was looking for reassurance and didn’t get that. They’re both hurting when it comes to this. Hurts me to watch them both so worried and sad.

I feel we’ve entered a second angst phase for them but this is real angst. Just like it was in beginning of the season. It’ll have its purpose. It’ll be the kind to make them grow and propel them forward even if it hurts along the way till they figure it out. I’m not worried but looking forward to how this unfolds. These are real issues they’re facing. I’m excited to see what the final two eps will be for them. Especially since we have s6 in bag now. ❤️

I love how much he’s loved this season. It’s truly been a great one for so many reasons. Do love me some Metro Tim. His continuous social media posts for us are the best. His hashtag for s6 too. Truly our captain as impatient as we are for that official news. Also how cute is he reminding us when it returns, like we aren’t counting the days till its back haha Love this man. LOL ❤️

I see a lot of negativity out there with this last ep. I think we’ve gotten so spoiled by having them every week this season with something. Even before they got together we always got something to add to the slow burn. This was the first week we didn’t get them in a scene together. Was I bummed? I would be lying if I said I wasn’t. But I also have to remember this isn’t just their show. They’re the best part hands down. They are the heart and the reason the ratings have shot through the roof. Don’t get me wrong there. But the ep was still good. I still enjoy the show as a whole. I think that gets lost in the sheer giddiness and excitement we all have from them being together finally. I’m guilty of that. We have a wonderful ensemble cast. That I truly enjoy. It’s a blessing some shows don’t get.

I still think they’ve been written well. We’ve gotten a lot of really really good content and growth between them. Just in this season alone. Look at Lucy being a BAMF running her own section of their op. Aaron following her lead no question. Her owning everything she was doing. Metro Tim is sitting just fine with me too BTW. That sexy swagger along with his confident leadership, that just exudes out of him when he’s on duty. I’m here for it. No we didn’t get a scene together this week. But looks like next week is going to remedy that pretty quickly. We did get to see them both in their element separately. I do enjoy watching that. I still get a kick out of how damn much Lucy has grown as a person. Watching her run her side of it with so much strong assurance. I’m in awe and so proud. Also that look she gave Aaron when he hit that bottle and that blew the op. Oof. If looks could kill. Tim would be so proud. These are still wins in my book.

So no we didn’t get a moment or scene this ep. But to me that is no reason to panic or be upset honestly. This ep didn’t center around them but they both played their parts beautifully. I still enjoyed watching them both do their thing and do it well. Enjoy the ride everyone. We’re still on it. It is still Chenford season even if we didn’t get something this week. I’m just jazzed they’re together and there is something to look forward to each ep. Its a damn gift all in itself. That being said I can’t wait till next week to see what we get for this valentines ep. ❤️

Rewatching the series atm cause Chenford withdrawals till the 3rd. Getting to this series of eps. Tim lost his mind when she went missing. This was before he was in love with her. I can’t imagine how nuclear he would go now if someone took her. Just thought I had re-watching his reaction through out the whole ordeal with Caleb. I wouldn’t be unhappy if we saw that side of him again. With her meaning even more to him. Being the fierce protector that he is ❤️

Oh my word this ep. So many things to love. First off the way Tim literally beams anytime Lucy is near him. I cannot. How he lit up the when she approached him. Even when she’s coming at him with ‘bad news’ the man is all smiles. She’s changed him so much makes my heart happy. To see that evidence every week. Also the news it being something she did to him for a Tim test. LOL I was laughing most of this episode with this interaction with this kid. I love that he had her tag along with him. Throwing her words back at her. Their banter in this one was primo.

The kid talks are just so damn effortless with them. Makes me all giddy and happy the way they chat about it. Like they know it’s their future. That’s locked in. It’s just a matter of getting there. Their jokes and him giving her crap. We’re getting a future vision of them as parents and I’m dying with happiness. Them losing this kid not once but twice. This ep had me rolling. The Smitty bit and way Tim grabbed the post it. I was dying.

The scene in the interrogation room with the dad had to be one of fav parts. Because Tim is ready to ruin this guy. Send him to jail. The works. Then he looks over at his girl. Pleading with him with just her eyes. They have this wordless convo, and he cracks. You see the resistance in his eyes then he melts for her. The way she watched him after that was just pure love eyes. How he let it go even treated the guy to something with his kid. She is the best influence on him. Not only that but he lets her know as much. They’re just so damn good as a couple. I can’t even each week they hit new highs that give me immense joy. Their communication with one another is out of the world. I couldn’t be happier. Truly.

Lucy immediately returns the favor. Telling him what a wonderful dad he’s going to be someday. He totally is BTW. Shes not wrong. The way they build each other up is beautiful. Tim had to make one last final joke about her losing their kids. Because he’s Tim. Wouldn’t be her goober if he didn’t. Is anyone else as ecstatic as I am at their growth each week? Just their ease into this entire relationship. We get little something new every time. Together or apart. I am thrilled with them in so many ways I can’t contain it. Excited to see what the rest of this season brings us. ❤️

Anyone else excited for their first fight? I know that sounds crazy but I was. It’s such a healthy and natural development for them to have one. Also to have one about something so important too. Like Tim said she deserves someone whose worth the effort. I love how she instantly knew he was mad and seemed off. She’s known you too long Timothy for you to hide anything from her. I loved how she approached him being off/upset. Clearly at first she doesn’t know it’s about her and the Metro swap. So she does what she does best with Tim. She loves on him. Whether that’s through sweet touches in the shop (which is unreal how much I loved that btw) and making stupid jokes trying to get him to engage and feel better.

Also her being confident in them as a couple in front of someone else. Telling Noah they’re solid. UC or not isn’t going to change that factor. They’re all in and nothing is going to rock that boat. Then Lucy finally calling him on it. Their mini fight ensuing while Noah was on the phone. She had enough and was willing to work through it even on duty. She held her own very well too. Tim had valid points but Lucy’s were rock solid. Never backing down on why she did it. Despite his boiling anger about it.

That scene in his office was the perfect ending to their first fight as a couple IMO. The best part was, it wasn’t her apologizing that brought him around. It was her standing her ground. Not apologizing for what she’s done for him is what finally soothed his anger. Basically saying I love you and I don’t regret doing this for you. She was dead on with her reasoning. Her standing up to him is one of the reasons he fell for her in first place. Lucy being 100 percent unapologetically herself in that moment is why he’s smiling at the end of her ‘non’ apology. Why he loves this woman and all her sunshine ways.

She’s his light but also his compass when he needs to be kicked back onto the right path. I enjoyed every minute of this episode top to bottom. That ending line with her wanting to skip dinner and him saying you’ll need the fuel? Phew lord. Love them bouncing right back to sass and banter after the dust has cleared. Fight resolved and they’re back to being them. It’s just another step in their progression as a couple and I couldn’t be happier with their development. ❤️

Just wanna say how proud I am of Tim. The depths of change he’s undergone is unreal. So amazing to watch. The little things over the years. He would hate a desk job, his career came first, he would never leave patrol. Yet he abandoned that all for Lucy. In his past relationships all those things came first. That scene in Greys office about Rachel vs the convo this time about Lucy is a complete 180. He’s willing to give anything to keep Lucy at the station. No matter the cost to him.

To see the sacrifice she was willing to make for him he hasn’t had that before. I’m in awe of him for the decision he made. We’re getting to see a side of Tim I’ve been very excited to watch. To see what he looks like in a relationship where he is put first. He didn’t have that growing up or in any relationship in his adult life. To watch him put aside everything for her because finally someone was willing doing it for him. I’m loving every aspect of this season for him and them. Just proud of him and how far he has come. It’s a serious reward watching from day one. Ah Character growth how I love it. ❤️

Holy hell. My heart is still racing from that finale. I thought last ep got my adrenaline pumping sweet lord. I must’ve rewound that hug like 4 times before I could move on. Lucy not breaking until she is in the comfort of their place(let’s be honest theirs at this point) and Tim being right there to pick up the pieces. It was so intimate and sweet. Her getting the solace she needs from him. Her instant comfort zone. His automatic reaction to hold her. The sweet kiss on her head while he consoled her. Beautiful. Also that song that was playing. Whoever picks the music. Give that person a raise got me in the feels hard.

Their little banter with him going with her was primo. Oh Lucy he knows you can protect yourself. He just loves you and that’s why he’s there. She recognizes this and her reply is perfection ‘ Glad it’s you that has my six’ ‘Me too’ these two ❤️ I just love them so much.

Can I say what a complete BAMF we have as a couple? That whole action sequence was incredible. The way they worked out a plan on the fly and trusted one another. How in sync they were as they executed it. You wanna see poetry in motion? my god that scene. How well they work together is so fun to watch. The way he scooped her up minute Nolan arrived? *chefs kiss* Also how he kept a hand on her thigh while they caught their breath. So good.

Been a hell of a season everyone. I’ve loved it from beginning to end. Truly was Chenford season. Watching how these two grew this season by leaps and bounds was amazing to behold. Both together and separately. Eric and Melissa were lightning in a bottle magic. Couldn’t be happier with this entire season and to see what the future brings for them. S6 can not come fast enough. I’m already going through withdrawals LOL
