I'm promised bf I would avoid spiralling tonight, and that means I really shouldn't be on here rambling my bullshit. So maybe I'll expand on this one day, but just interested in how many discourse people on here clearly haven't spent any time around MRAs.

#including online #not saying you should obviously! its just the way people talk on here sometimes #im not talking extreme stuff just like MRA sympathatic people #a massive amount of it is basically disproving misogyny and simultaneously rewriting history so it was actually men who were oppressed #whether that was by women specifically or by everyone vaguely #varies but seriously this is a big thing #and like...people here do a similar thing almost? only its cis women specifically they are denying gendered oppression of #its so bizarre and honestly occassionally triggering #sometimes it seems like part of being a trans man on tumblr is doing this #and its terrible because this is the place i come to find community with transmascs but i just disagree with this approach so strongly #weve all got baggage and this is mine but once again im different from the tumblr queer discourse :(
