Hi! We've never spoken before but I really enjoy your Lucifer meta and figured I'd send you a message, as I need some more Deckerstar pals to chat with. :) SO, that last ep destroyed me when Lucifer found out Chloe's origins. But one thing I can't help wondering is... how would Chloe feel about this? We know that Luci's got hangups about his Dad and that he wouldn't be happy realizing Chloe was put in his path intentionally, but I feel like Chloe would struggle with that revelation too. (cont.)

She is very much a woman who doesn't believe in fate/finds meaning in carving her own path just like Lucifer. If she found out he was not only the Devil but that she was made specifically "for" him, would she question everything like he's been? What does that mean for the family she's built? Her career? Everything she is? Suddenly the weight of that 'miracle' title would be thrust upon her and I think it'd be SUCH a powerful storyline to have her and Lucifer both coming to terms with it. I just think as brutal as it was to see Luci's reaction, it would be really interesting to see it from her perspective, since it, well, is ABOUT her. I trust the writers will definitely do that at some point, but I'm itching for that gap to close and for her to finally not be on the outskirts of the supernatural plots (as are most people, I'm sure). I need my empowered Chloe Decker reconciling choice and destiny storyline. NEED IT. Anyhow, sorry for the length! I have a lot of feelings. ;)

And also yes?! Like, I think obviously the story/narrative/POV has been focused on Lucifer’s reaction to this, because he’s the main character and his reactions are what is currently driving the story, but Chloe’s reaction is going to be just as important (and because they have built up the pressure on Lucifer to tell her the truth/reveal his face, and everything she doesn’t know about who Charlotte really is and what happened with Uriel and the deal with God and... everything?) Like, I said in one of my earlier answers that they came to the place of being ready for a relationship, but without knowing the most important thing about the other. Lucifer has to struggle with the miracle business. Chloe has to struggle with the Devil business. She wants to date Lucifer Morningstar, her trusted work partner and eccentric dorky sweet friend. That’s not the same thing as Chloe wants to date/be the actual soulmate of the Devil Himself, when her existence was personally ensured by God Almighty as a divine miracle. She can’t accept that because she still has no idea it even exists, and doesn’t believe in it.

So yes??? Give me all the angsty meaty storylines with Chloe struggling with it too??? She loves Lucifer, just like he loves her, but again, both of them need to accept this HUGE thing about each other, and deal with this shattering cosmic truth, before they can actually fully reconcile and be ready for each other, and I love that they have set them up to undergo this struggle at the same time in mirror/reflections of each other??? (Aka they are such soulmates I wanna weep.) Chloe can’t understand why Lucifer was angry/upset until she knows the truth, THE WHOLE TRUTH, and... yeah, that’s a LOT to swallow.

And everyone knows I am such trash for Chloe Decker, Queen of Hell, so I cANNOT WAIT until she is fully clued into the supernatural aspect of things and she and Lucifer can kick ass in that regard together and oh me oh my I need it. So very badly. Welp.

As for fanarts, a clean, coloured lineart would be nice! Then again, it all depends on each individual’s art style. ^^; But a coloured piece is a must!

Okay, but can we talk about Seth teaching Kate how to pick that lock at the beginning of season 2? It reminded me so much of how his dad taught him how to put his gun together ("Do it again. Faster."). Obviously Seth wasn't abusive about teaching her (dickish yes tho) but I wonder how many times he was reminded of it and whether or not that played into how he treats Kate. Maybe he refused to teach her and she had to convince him. Not really a question, just an interesting observation I made.

this was such a callback scene, and even though seth is being like, kind of dickish as you call it, there’s also such a gentleness to it that he’s really, really forcing himself to have. because he doesn’t see himself as someone who should be capable of this kind of softness, and that’s so funny, because he’s soft with richie and he’s soft with kate but he still thinks he’s a shit teacher and a shit person? but he isn’t. and he’s trying so hard to teach her how to do this so that she can survive without being his father. because seth doesn’t really know if his father cared if he lived or died. but he cares about kate so fucking much.

you can mention what you did for your volunteer hours. as for skills it can be anything like "adaptable", "strong independant worker" it doesnt really have to be something concrete: just make yourself look good

Do you have any volunteer hours or were you involved in any clubs or school organizations? Those are good to list. Also computer literacy is a great skill to list--especially if you have experience with something like photoshop. Best of luck! :)
