Katsumi:

Ohhh this is a surprise. Even for him. Will you go to the amusement park? It's possible! Are you going to go to the spa together? Maybe! Dinner on the roof? Why not, you can try it! He also likes to cook with you (he likes the way you look in an apron) But he's also ready to try something new with you.

Bonus:

Once you asked him to dance, he agreed. Despite the fact that he was somewhat clumsy, he liked it, he began to practice more. Now dancing is the final part of your romantic evening.

Shibukawa:

Something quiet and peaceful like joint walks in the park or picnics. A calm atmosphere, a nice conversation, the beauty of nature is all he needs. He's a pretty traditional guy, but he doesn't mind trying something new at all. For example, to go to the slot machines with you. HE'LL FIT IN PERFECTLY. He is moderately gambling, does not like to lose and learns quickly. But now it's not a date, it's a WAR, after you're done, the loser pays for the winner's subsequent purchases throughout the evening. This cute grandpa will basically fit into any adventure with you (if it doesn't break the law), it helps him feel younger.

Doppo:

He also likes to try something new. Take him bowling, he'll like it. He can screw up a couple of times, but his gambling is working in the right direction. But it can also turn into a competition. He also likes to buy you cute trinkets, bracelets, rings, headbands. You're a princess for him, and that's why you have to look the part.

Bonus:

LOVES it when you arrange a spa day. He likes to see you relax, but he likes the way you take care of him even more. He loves it when you give him a massage (probably often whined that his shoulders and back hurt, because of this you had to take care of him and you know what... Hi! Omg cleaning Ramshackle by yourself would be a nightmare! But thankfully the first years are here to save the day, right?

First years help you clean Ramshackle

You felt like giving up, it was too much to clean both the top and bottom floor by yourself AND Grim could only do so much with his small body. You were ready to give up when suddenly you received a knock on your door.

Sighing, you drop your mop and walk over, wondering who was there. It turns out that Ace, Deuce, Jack, and Epel are here! Sebek wanted to join but Malleus comes first to him 😭.

They came by just to hang out, but seeing your disheveled hair, your dust covered clothes, and just how tired you look, Jack suddenly tells the entire group “We’re helping you!”

Ace and Deuce don’t feel like cleaning the dorms but they don’t want to see you break your spine, so they agree to help. Epel wants to lift stuff so why not.

You all start pretty normally until one of them ask if they remember that one song Neige sang on a tv show. The show was for a younger audience, and the song was something along the lines of “Whistle While You Work” or so. Then Ace breaks out into song.

They hear him even if they’re in completely different floors, and Epel ends up chiming in. Then Ace, then Jack. Finally the whole dorm is just a musical.

Ace begins to use the mop he was holding as a mic and Epel’s doing some kind of beat on his makeshift drumset created by boxes. Grim’s singing on the tabletops and accidentally almost sets something on fire with how much he’s having fun.

Jack accidentally breaks a dish while attempting to roll it to the racks and Deuce drops a whole bunch of trash. You tell them it’s fine but they just grab your shoulders and are like “NO IT NOT WE WILL MAKE SURE THIS DORM IS SPARKLING MORE THAN VIL”

It’s super fun cleaning and singing with them, though after they leave you find some of the rooms in worse shape than before (Epel went too hard on his drumming ability haha). But nonetheless the dorm’s in better shape overall, and Grim had a lot of fun too.

The next time you’re cleaning your dorm, ask the first years to help you!

Let’s be honest and say that this is one of the most absolutely chaotic things I could have written.

I have a feeling at first Leona already realizing you were a trouble maker was going to let you do whatever as long as he didn’t get dragged into this.

Of course this was not the case at all. You were basically a magnet for trouble and Leona somehow got himself mixed in with it. Believe me when I say he was upset.

He could have been napping but no, apparently you had to tick off some other random fellow dorm members by advertising the funeral parlor. Leona was woken up by this racket and by the time it was too late, you had already fallen on top of him with the biggest and stupidest grin ever.

When they saw Leona they were already running with their tails between their legs but what concerned this lion was why were you staring at him weirdly? The sudden moment of realization then hit him..something bad was about to happen.

Ruggie of course caught up with what happened and forced Jack to check what had happened in the botanical garden with him. What piqued their interest was that one of the new odd balls [new students] was near Leona and followed him around like a baby duck.

Jack was upset by the fact you kept bothering him but not really in a “upset upset” way. He just wanted some personal space every now and then. Ruggie was intrigued by the fact that you knew about the border of life and death and actually wanted to be hired by you.

Lilia is an avid league of legends player. I’m correct. Don’t say I’m not. I don’t even play league of legends and yet I’m gonna headcanon Lilia as a league fan. Because, I am correct. (He also probably is a fan of guilty gear, and Elfen ring but you didn’t hear it from me)

Mkay now Sebek , Idia, and azul, are the type of people, that whenever their crush is around or whatever, they are absolutely not responsive. Literally freeze. Now with Idia after like a few minutes of trying to get him to respond, it’s a 50/50 chance (that you will lose.) that hell either run away and hide, or if you’re lucky he’ll actually try to say something to you before he gets too nervous and just leaves KEGEJS. Azul on the other hand will freeze, not responsive for like two seconds, then “oh prefect I didn’t know you’d be here.” “You’re right in front of my dorm.” “Oh.”. AND SEBEK JUST COMPLETELY DOESNT RESPOND AND LEAVES BEFORE YOU CAB SAY ANYTHING TO HIM WJEGKEGEKE

I like to think epel and riddle are close friends. They both have weirdly fiery, and yet calm personalities, and I think epel would make a BEAUTIFUL apple tart for riddle a lot. Like imagine all the details in the apples, cause he carved into them, and omg I would respectfully devour an apple tart made by epel. But I also wouldn’t… cause it’s so pretty :’)

Riddle

Riddle's slumber is disturbed by the sound of his name. He doesn't answer right away, opening his eyes slowly and blinking a few times before he realizes his surroundings. "My rose?..." he asks, voice tired and hoarse.

He sits up, looking over at you. He sees you, and his expression softens. "Are you not able to sleep?..." "Remeber when i was walking my whale in the mountains, and i met two talking closets offering me a discount on money?" Clearly you make no sense, after all this was planned. You have to stiffle your laugh and giggles but you manage to stay serious nonetheless. Riddle blinks a few times as he tries to process what you're saying, his sleepy brain refusing to comprehend the words.

As his thoughts clear, his eyebrows frown as he attempts to make any sense of you talking about closets. Or discounts on money.

He blinks a third time to clear his vision. The expression on his face is pure gold, priceless. He looks adorable with his mouth agape. Riddle blinks a few more times. His eyes flicker as he attempts to discern your words, but he is too sleepy to put together the pieces.

"You walked a whale?" he finally manages. "Talking closets? Discount? Mountains??" He lets himself drop backwards onto the bed again and left out a sigh. "Mhm! Talking closets in the mountains" you softly laugh as you kiss his cheek and lay down beside him. Riddles cheeks heat up lightly, and he cannot help but blush.

"You can tell me all about it once its the right time..." and before you could even answer, he's out again....

Trey

The sound of your voice stirs him from sleep, and his eyes flutter open. Trey blinks a few times, the softest smile still gracing his features. He blinks again and again, finally fully comprehending the situation. His eyes widen as his lips part.

"Ah...yes?" he whispers, rubbing his eyes to rid himself of lingering sleepiness.

"I forgot to tell you that yesterday I was out with my mixer and we saw a duck on the runway having metal teeth." You can tell that the story has stumped him for a few seconds. He blinks, seemingly trying to process what you just said.

Though he knows the words make sense separately, all together they're a rather peculiar combination. He tilts his head, his brow furrowing.

"That's...a bit strange, no? Was it a normal duck aside from its odd teeth?" "Yeah!" His mouth quirks up. You can see a glimmer of amusement flit across his features as he chuckles. "A duck with metal teeth it was then, cool i guess." he says as he tries to form a picture of it in his mind. The concept of an otherwise-normal duck sporting metal teeth would definitely be a curious sight.

He lets out a soft snicker, clearly entertained by the absurd image. "Now," he yawns, "c'mere and sleep with me now, kay?" he mumbles tiredly and pulls you closer by your hips, pressing you against his body.

Cater

Cater's eyes open slowly, as if he was only half asleep. When he sees you, his eyes widen a bit and he tries to focus. His expression is soft and a bit hazy, but he seems to recognize you immediately. When he sees you, you notice a wave of tender affection flood his body as you hear him take in a deep breath before he lets out a quiet sigh. "Whatisitbaby..." he slurrs his words together.

"I baked a broom for you and decorated it with car keys for your happy easter celebration on Christmas!" Cater blinks a few times, before he slowly lifts his head and blinks slowly. He seems a bit confused about your statement, how can someone not. He is too drowsy to respond just yet, so he merely smiles goofly at you gently and lets out a small yawn. His eyelids slowly start to close again, but he seems very content to just sit here with you.

Cater seems to be drifting off sitting, so you decide to let him return to sleep. His breathing grows heavier the moment his back hits the bed again, but you can still see his chest rise and fall softly as his body adjusts to a deeper slumber.

His face rests against your chest, but before he can fully fall back asleep again he slurrs a few words for you. "Youcantellmeallaboutitinthemornin'kaykaybaby?"

"Kay Kay, baby" you softly laugh and kiss his forehead.

Ace

Ace’s breathing pauses for a moment as he remains partially asleep. His eyelids flutter and his eyes remain closed, but he responds nonetheless. "Fuck off Juice...lemme sleep..."

"So, yesterday when i wanted to visit the moon i accident took the wrong worm and we ended in the bushes where shoes grow." Ace laughs softly into the pillow and shakes his head at the absurdity of it all. “Ah, yes…I remember. Cool story babe.......now lemme sleep"

Before you can even react Ace wraps his arms cautiously around you and pulls beside him as he lays on his stomach. "You're one crazy bitch...fuck, i love you." He mumbles into the pillow again, before turning to face you and pull you closer into his chest. Ace lovingly kissed your forhead before stroking your hair and slowly falling asleep again.

A quiet moan escapes Deuce’s lips, and he begins to stir. He opens his eyes and sits up— you can see that he is still half-asleep, blinking slowly and lazily at the ceiling. “Wha-...ar...are you hurt or somethin'?” he says in a gentle, hoarse whisper.

Your gentle touch on his shoulder has woken him from his rest, and yet he doesn't seem annoyed by it; quite the opposite, in fact.

"No, no I'm not hurt. But i just saw a flying console screaming for pudding outside our shower." "Pudding?" Deuce repeats the word curiously, blinking as he wipes his nose and sniffs tiredly. Your tone seems to suggest that he should find the word familiar, but the foest year seems genuinely clueless as to what you're talking about. He gives you a baffled expression, but you can tell that he's still not quite himself.

If there are any flying consoles out there, they aren't his concern. "Pudding... flying consoles..." he mumbles. "Baby, you want some pudding...?" He ask tiredly, looking over at clock on the wall, luckly the moonlight lets him see the time. "At..." he squint his eyes, "8 am?"...3 am but you don't want to burst his bubble just yet.

"I can wait till 8 am, no biggie" you say, smiling at how concerned but also confused he is. Although hes tired he still tries to be a good boyfriend for you. "M'kay...g'night..."...out like a light.

Leona

"Hmm" Leona groans. His hands trail up and down beside him lookung for your body to pull you closer against his body. But he didn't found you, instead you were sitting up. "Herbivore,...c'mere already."

He's still slightly groggy from sleep. Its common knowledge, waking Leona Kingscholar up is an unofficial crime. And now you even left his arms, the audacity. Good thing hes way to tired at 2am.

"I was looking for my teapot but instead found a dancing glass of ice tea waiting at the traffic light to turn into a tulip." "Ah... what?" Leona murmurs, slowly shifting upward. His gaze is still half-lidded by sleep; his eyes have yet to come back into focus.

He blinks some more, his voice still rough with sleepiness. "I...I love you come back and sleep." And since you didn't immediately react to him he growls back a, "Now."

Ruggie

Ruggie stirs at your voice, ears laying flat and lazy against his head. He opens his eyes slowly and looks at you with half lidded, sleepy eyes. "Mmm...is it morning already?" he asks quietly. "No." You smile gently at him and kiss his cheek. He smiles dopey and falls back against the pillows. "But...when I tried to read the picture about the story of the bear who went jogging in the clouds, i got confused."

Ruggie is just as confused. But smiles slightly as he props himself up in bed. He rubs his eyes, his expression one of amusement layered with tiredness.

"Ya know..., you really need to stop askin' me to help you with your homework,” he mumbles. "Huh?" "...Huh?" "....oh-" "yeah?..." Ruggie didn't know what he said, neither did he knows what he actually understood. And neither did you. You both just blink at each other looking confused, before he drops down into the pillows again and holds his arms out for you. "Come back and cuddle...ya silly little minx"

Jack

His ears twitch at the sound of your voice, and his eyes dart open in a sharp flutter. Blinking away the lingering sleep from his eyes, the world comes into focus.

When he realizes that its only you in front of him, he relaxes. "Are you not feeling well?" He's definitely not wide awake but isn't half asleep either. He quickly sits up too and puts his hand on your cheek, caressing your skin with his thumb as he looks at you worried. That would make you melt under normal circumstances, but you had other plans this night. "I was attacked by a wild blueberry and it wanted to read my eyelashes off my nails."

Jack blinks. His thumb stops moving as he is processing your words slowly. "... You're... you're..." He trails off at the nonsensicality of the sentence. The words don't register, and he looks at you with confusion. His brow furrows.

"What?"

You can't help but giggle. "Alright...time for you to get some sleep, hm?" Jack sounds exhausting, from being sleepy and from you. He stroke your cheek lovingly one last time, before you cave in and lay back into bed. "Good girl...", sudden tiredness came over Jack and he lays back beside you, pulling you against his chest.

Azul

The voice breaks him from his slumber. He flinches in surprise, waking from a deep sleep. His lavender eyes shoot open. They look at you with a certain amount of fright — until they register your face, in the darkness of your bedroom.

"Pearl?" His voice is a whisper— husky with sleep, but soft all the same. "If a snail flys into a tree, does it turn pink or will it eat chips?" You immediately hit him with your nonsense, no mercy. Azul stares at you in utter confusion. His face is one of uncertainty, and a touch of amusement as he tries to make sense of your question.

He settles on a response, but is not entirely confident in its truth. "I do not know, Pearl." He murmurs. "But what i know is that you should be asleep." You know he's right, but you also just wanted to have some fun. Azul gently pulls you back against his chest. He smiles at you warmly as he wraps your body in his arms.

He presses his lips to the top of your head. His hands come up to your hair, fingers threading through yours and gently stroking you, brushing them down your back to soothe your weary bones. "We can...discuss this tomorrow..." You just nod, snuggling up to him. Teasing him didn't work, but at least you got his affection.

Jade

Jade always sleeps lightly, so the tiny call of his name immediately wakes him. "Hmmm…" his voice is barely above a whisper as he wakes. He reaches out for you, his movements gentle, his eyes searching in the darkness for your body. "Mm...Guppy?"

"Do teeth grown on walls when they are covered in amnesia?"

The question catches Jade by surprise, his brow furrowed as he contemplates your words. He opens his mouth to speak, then closes it again, his brow now a full-on frown as he tries to formulate an answer.

"No?" he says slowly, voice sounding like a question rather than an assertion. He furrows his brow even further, brows meeting in the middle of his forehead. "...You know...there are situations where i feel like Floyd rubbed off on you..." he says. "Ey-!" Jade lets out a tired chuckle before pulling you back against his chest again. "My little guppy...so dumb sometimes, hm?"

Floyd

His pale eyes snap open as soon as he recognizes your voice. "Shrimpyyy," he whines quietly, his voice quivering in his surprise from being pulled from his slumber. "Why'd wake meee?" he mumbles and pulls you closer and tighter against his body, at this point youre used to it. "Do ghosts twerk when you play them ladders and earth?"

As odd a question as it was (Floyd is too), he doesn't even flinch. Instead, he takes a moment to process it before nodding, his lips curling into a smile as he answers, "Of course! Everyone knows ghosts like to twerk." Floyd just starts to giggle in delight, wiggling you around happily, "Aww shrimpy i love you! You're so silly!" He gave you one last kiss on your head before his smile drops, "But we gotta sleep now, so you better behave and don't wake me up again." Though he is still a little unsteady from being woken up so suddenly, his strength still remains in his embrace. From the way he holds you, you can feel how much he loves you. He wants you close. He wants to keep you with him. Forever even.

His brows furrow as his eyes continue to stay shut. But your voice was enough to rouse him.

"Hmm?" his lips part, but his voice is still hoarse with sleep, and he doesn't open his eyes yet. Before he can open them or even get remotely more awake, you attack him immediately. "How do i know if a bunny catches a goldfish in a storm of wandering suns?" His brows furrow even further as his head shifts toward your direction. That question did nothing to make any kind of sense to him.

"H-Huh?" he asks warily, his eyes slowly opening just as his brows are un-furrowing. "I- Um." He looks around, his thoughts scattered.

"Lemme ask Jamil real quick...Ja-!" "No-!" Befode he can wake up the poor exhausted second year who just got into bed, you shut Kalim with your hand against his mouth. "Shhh-" He keeps mumbling against your hand, before he choses to gently kiss the inside of your hand. "Tschul...pwease led me go" "Huh?" You raise your hand, "I said, Jewel, please let me go-!" Kalims arms wrap around you in an instant. He buries his face into your shoulder, seeking the warmth of your arms. All of the tension in his body seems to ease at once, replaced by the comfort that he feels when he is in your presence.

He nuzzles his head into your shoulder, the touch being all that he needs for him to be at peace. "Ahhh, I'm wide awake now..."

His head tilts a little as the sound of your voice reaches his ears. His head turns in your direction. His breathing is shallow and steady, his eyes closed.

Probably used to it from Kalim. It takes him a moment to realize he should explain his answer. A hint of a smile tugs at his mouth, but the expression does not fully reach his lips, "As expected from you "

He waits, allowing a moment to pass to see if you have a response. "Good night Jamil...." "Good night."

His eyes flutter open as he removes his sleeping mask.They blink slowly, fighting off the haze of sleep. And then, they fix on you.

"Yes?" He whispers. Vil is scared you might be in pain, or a different problem flared up. But instead you hit him with this nonsense.

"If a goose loves an ogre, do they drink pebbles in the moonlight?" His mind reels from this seemingly nonsensical question. His body is tense as a whip, his heart pounding in his chest. This feels like a trap, but his mind scrambles to find a response.

He opens his mouth, then stops. He tilts his head, then opens his mouth once more, stopping. He blinks, staring at you.

Then, his lips curl to a smile. "Yes they do," he affirms with complete certainty. "They drink pebbles in the moonlight. And you know what else they do?" "No?" Rook

The sound of your voice, however small and soft, stirs Rook from his "slumber". Rook is never truly asleep, a good hunter never rests. He cracks open his eyes, and his lips form a smile and part to form a word.

"Yes?" he excitingly says, though the word, meant hushed and quite, was more loud than expected. "Yesterday I saw a sheep kissing a well and singing it a waterfall because it couldn’t catch a pizza." Without missing a beat he answers, "What a marvelous story mon ange! Did you come up with it yourself?" You nod proudly, not using one braincell to come up with words in the first place is and accomplishment! "Oh, mon ange, would you tell me more about this loving relationship between this talented sheep and its well-lover?"

Rook responds by wrapping his arms tightly around you. He presses his body close to yours, his fingers kneading at you. His touch is gentle but firm. Time seems to slow down as you two press even closer against one another, and you come up with more nonsense to entertain him. The world fades away to oblivion as thoughts of every day concerns slip away and you two embrace the warm bliss of that moment.

Rook doesn't say anything. He only smiles with pure adoration at you and listens to every single word. He just holds you, his every atom focused on being near you. Like always.

He blinks again, rubbing the weariness out of his eyes. "Yeah?" he mumbles softly, his voice still sluggish with sleep. "I just saw an owl wearing a hoddie and stealing a womans wig while the sky was skittles." Epel blinks a few times, trying to process the words you just conveyed. He opens his eyes wider and shakes his head.

"Sounds like you had one wild dream," he whispers as gently as possible, "But at least it wasn't a nightmare so...ya should probably go back to sleep now." Epel's voice is a murmur as he slowly leans down to kiss the top of your head. His cheek brushes against your hair as he nuzzles into the softness, and he takes a deep breath.

His gaze lingers on your face, studying your features as he pulls back slowly. "I'll watch over you so you won't have any strange dreams..."

Idia

The sound of your voice cracks through his mind, jolting him to attention. Idia jolts up from sleep, startled. The sight of you makes his heart skip a beat.

He blinks his eyes open, staring back at you for a moment as he reorients himself. His breathing is quick and shallow, but he steadies himself. "Is-Is something wrong?!" He sounds genuinely scared and worried for you, you almost feel bad about what you're gonna do. "Horses eat frames so they can fly faster to the basement of the Texas curtains."

His chest freezes with a sharp inhale, and he opens his eyes. His heart pounds in his throat, a nervous flutter. "Yes!? Love? I'm here," he says, his voice hoarse from a few hours of undisturbed slumber.

The snore halts, the sudden outburst of sound startling him out of his sleep. He wakes up like a mother, with a loud gasp. "Where i may or may not have left a cake in the oven and it caught fire." He says it with such ease...like he did leave a cake in the oven to burn down the entire dorm.

unsurprisingly, riddle gets a lot of bizarre things from students and professors alike. confessions are one thing but having one in this... circular, red, full of helium balloon is certainly a surprise. creative, he'll give them that. if anything he's just confused with it in his arms as you just sort of, shove it in his arms and run away. he recognizes you easily but once cater plucks it out of his grip and shows him the message he just turns red.

trey is the type of guy to accept whatever you give him, honestly. it doesn't matter if you give him the most random of items, he'll take it without a single word of query (unless it's really questionable.) you could hand him a bottle of mustard in class, trey'll just blink and hold onto it patiently. a pair of batteries? thanks he guesses. a red, inflated balloon? he spares you a questioning glance but you're already collecting dust with how fast you ran away so he turns it and resists a smile. clearly spotting the bold letters.

sparkles, around the sun... too bright... kalim's blinding everyone else with his obvious joy. almost immediately turns it and it's clear he saw something he really liked cause he has one of those grins, really wide, showing off his teeth and his face scrunches up to the point where you could barely spot the red irises of his eyes. his lips are wobbly too! and he thought the notion was simply too cute... (so much he just had to send it back, so you could feel what he felt too!) except it comes in a hundred times balloons inside your home.

Malleus appeared surprised at first, given that no one had tried to reach for or pat his head, not even Lilia - at least not after Malleus became an adult.

He found your act endearing as it was rare for anyone to show affection towards him.

Smiling gently, he bent down to make it easier for you to pat his head. The prince was more than happy to accept your pats, though he didn't know the reason behind your sweet action. But he wasn't complaining.

Malleus was amused and happy as he studied your sparkling eyes. "(Y/n), you are adorable. I could consume you whole."

Shifting your eyes to Malleus, you looked at him questioningly, to which he laughed.

Jack tensed up and became uncomfortable as he was not used to displays of affection.

His first instinct was to grab your hand and glare at you, but then he remembered you were his girlfriend/boyfriend. The last thing he wanted was to scare or intimidate you.

When he saw the sparkle in your eyes, he figured it was your way to show affection. So, Jack bent down to your height and smiled, letting you pat his head.

As long as you don't try to grab or touch his ears, he will let you pat his head as much as you like.

Floyd looked at you with scrunched eyebrows as you jumped up and down with your arm stretched up. What were you trying to do?

Without warning, he grabbed you by the waist and lifted you up, making you squeal in surprise. But he helped you reach your goal, and you took that to your advantage and patted his head.

His confusion turned into amusement as he laughed. "Shrimpy, all you had to do was tell me you wanted to pat my head."

After he put you back on the ground, Floyd pinched your cheeks and harmlessly teased you about your height. "If you're gonna do that again, I will charge you for it by stealing kisses from you."

Jade observed your efforts to reach his head with an amused and curious expression. He didn't know what he did or said to where it pushed you to want to pat his head.

Seeing that the two of you were alone, Jade removed his hat and bent down to your height. He watched you with a soft smile as you enjoyed a rare moment of vulnerability and openness.

Once you were satisfied, Jade tenderly pressed his lips to your forehead. "I feel the need to borrow Floyd's words. I wish to consist you as you are too cute to resist."

Sebek was lecturing someone for stepping out of line, and once he was done, he turned to face you. He was surprised to see you standing on a chair and was about to yell at you to get down.

But when you touched his head, Sebek became silent. He was flustered and confused as he was not accustomed to such personal and sweet gestures.

Averting his eyes, Sebek tried to think of something to say to you. He didn't think yelling at you to back away would be a good idea; your head pat was a gesture of admiration for him, so he didn't want to scare you.

Once you stopped, Sebek awkwardly reached his hand to your head and gave you slightly but unintentionally rough head pats. He didn't know what else he was supposed to do.

The lion watched you struggle for a moment before you left and returned with a stepping stool. He was confused and amused, wondering what you planned to do.

When your hand touched his head, Leona stiffened and raised an eyebrow, giving you a questioning look.

He grumbled something about you trying to invade his personal space and trying to touch his ears without his permission. But deep down, he secretly appreciated the affectionate gesture.

"Herbivore, don't think you'll get away with it the next time." Though he warned you to never do that again, Leona secretly hoped you would pat his head again.

As soon as he removed his crown and let his hair down, you stepped up on his vanity mirror's stool. Vil noticed you in the reflection of the mirror and was about to ask you to get down, but then you patted his head.

Vil was surprised and taken aback, given that no one dared to invade his personal space, especially not in this manner.

Though he wasn't happy about his hair being touched, Vil found your way of showing his affection unique and cute.

His eyes remained soft, but his voice was stern. "Keep your back and shoulders straight. Your head pats are slightly rough and will damage my hair, so lighten your touch."

As he watched you follow his instructions without protest, Vil chuckled to himself. You were truly adorable.

He heard you sneaking up behind him as he examined Ortho's new armor parts but didn't think much of it. Until he heard something like constant jumping.

Turning around, Idia saw you motion him to bend down. Without thinking much, he gave in to your request. But when you patted his head, Idia squealed slightly and backed away. He was not used to physical contact and definitely not used to direct displays of affection.

You still didn't give up and got close to him with a warm smile. Idia followed your hand to his hair and watched you pat it gently.

Though frozen in place, he couldn't deny that your gesture made him feel warm and fuzzy.

As soon as he saw you jumping up with your hand stretched up, Trey knew what you were trying to do. His younger sibling had tried the same thing on him various times.

With a smile, he bent down, let you remove his hat, and pat his head until you were satisfied.

In return, he placed his hand on your head, and you expected him to give you head pats; instead, he tussled your hair, ruining your hairstyle.

When you protested, Trey laughed. "You still look cute, so why are you upset?"

Rook studied you briefly but directly asked what you were trying to do. When you told him you wanted to pat his head, he removed his hat and graciously bowed.

Giggling, you gave him a few head pats. But once you were done, Rook spoke loudly, startling you. "Mon coeur!"

With a chivalrous demeanor, the hunter got down on one knee and took your hand. He pressed his lips to the back of your hand.

His eyes sparkled as he flashed you a so-in-love smile. "Mon/Ma chéri(e), your endearing gesture had awakened my dormant heart. From this moment forth, mon coeur est à toi!"

Silver curiously watched you getting onto the garden's low retention wall. But he quickly hurried close to you when you stood up on it because he didn't want you to lose your balance and hurt yourself.

However, he didn't expect you to pat his head. For a moment, he stared at you, surprised, but soon, a gentle smile tugged on his lips.

He might not have said anything, but Silver appreciated your sweet gesture. As you patted his head, he stood still, enjoying the warmth and comfort your gesture brought to his heart.

Cater was surprised when you reached for his head and patted it in the middle of the conversation. He didn't know what he did to deserve a head pat, but Cater was happy. Out of habit, he took out his phone and snapped a selfie, capturing the moment permanently.

He pinched your cheeks. "You are too cute."

Without warning, Cater picked you up and spun you around, laughing with you. When he put you down, Cater brought his face down to your height and placed your hand on top of his head again.

Azul noticed you watching him like a hawk as he moved around his office. He wasn't sure why you were looking at him that way but didn't think much of it.

When he sat down, he saw you spring up from your seat and hurry towards him. Although, Azul never expected you wanted to pat his head.

Initially, he was surprised and tensed up but quickly regained his composure. He analyzed your intentions and wondered why you were showing his affection out of nowhere. But Azul was unable to find anything that was out of place.

The octopus sighed and chuckled as he shrugged and let you pat his head. It was just another step to deepening his connection with you, so Azul accepted your head pats quietly.

I know that jade, Floyd, and Azul aren't penguins, but i thought it would be so cute if their s/o gave them a pebble and basically proposed but not knowing what it meant.

And for the beast-men (Leona, Jack, Ruggie) i thought it would be cute if there was a special beast-men way of courtship, I couldn't think of anything though, but then i remembered that for a lot of mammals (and animals in general) grooming is a form of bonding, so what if licking was a form of courtship?!?!

Leona: he awoke from his nap when he felt a pair of hands running through his hair, he sniffed the air, realizing it was just his s/o he closed his eyes once again, surrendering to the comforting feeling of your hands, he hated to admit it but he loved when you played with his hair, it was something he looked forward to and expected. what he didn't expect however was the sudden wet feeling that graced his cheek his eyes shot open and his head snapped in your direction

"so soon? at least wait till we graduate"

Jack: he had finished his classes for the day and was walking around the campus grounds, when he spotted you his tail started to wag a bit, he attempted to stop, annoyed that he was giving away how he felt. he walked over to you, he wrapped his arm around your waist pulling you closer to him you smiled up at him, kissing his cheek, he smiled at you and walked with you to the ramshackle dorm, you guys sat in the guest room you had been working on you had been pretty bored all day and wanted to do something to make you laugh, why not lick your boyfriend see what his silly reaction would be, little did you know the implications behind this supposedly innocent action. as soon as your tongue brushed his cheek he was off to sofa and staring at you in shock, he moved so fast that your tongue was still hanging out of you mouth

"i-im not ready"

his voice was shaky and his tail was wagging at a super sonic spread

"i mean you need to meet my parents and my siblings, and i dont have any money, i mean were still in high school, marriage is a very large leap"

you were so fucking confused Marriage? when you asked what he was talking about he looked at you confused

"you licked me... you want to marry me...right?"

you blushed and told him that in your world its just a weird thing to do. he sighed in

"so no marriage then, good, i love you but im not ready for that yet... try again in a few years"

he winked, his tail giving away his feelings

Ruggie: you had gotten some powdered donuts from Sam's store earlier and you were super excited to eat them, you rushed to your dorm hoping to avoid the food thief you called a boyfriend but it was useless, he could probly smell them from 3 miles away, he saw you running smelt the sweet scent of donuts and took off after you, he caught up quickly, snatching the box from you hands

"watcha got here shihihi"

he held the box out of your reach and took a donut out, he quickly shoved it into his mouth as you pouted, you loved him to death but god was he annoying sometimes you noticed how he had gotten some of the powdered sugar on his nose and an idea of revenge sprung into your mind, you grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him down to you

"you gonna kiss me~" he teased you, he wrapped an arm around you resting a hand on the small of your back while his other held the donut box.

you licked his nose, he tensed up, his eyes widened and he stumbled back almost falling over

"i-i dont- i mean-" he turned around, he grabbed his ears and pressed them down, trying to calm himself down, he had never felt so flustered before, but could you blame him? his s/o just asked for his hand in marriage "i accept but... so soon?"

you looked at him confused, he took a moment, realizing that what is a marriage proposal for beast-men might not be the same for humans, but everyone was aware of the tradition, then it clicked, you weren't from here, you had no idea what you had just done. his blush was still there, and to be honest he was dissipated, he licked you cheek "that is a proposal for marriage" he admits, looking away embarrassed, he shoved the donut box back into your hands and quickly walked away mumbling a quick "i love you" his tail was small, but it was wagging as he zoomed away from you.

Octavinelle (penguin esc courtship)

Floyd: he hated working at the cafe, it was so boring, why would he work when he could be with his little shrimpy? he found you outside of the ramshackle dorm, you were on your hands and knees digging round a pile of rocks

"shrimpy~" he lifted you up and hugged you from behind "what are you doing?"

he asked, examining the rocks you held in your hands, you didn't answer, instead you picked on of the rocks you had and handed it to him, it was smooth, and had a faint blue undertone to it, he squealed and snatched it out of your hand, he wrapped his arms around you, squeezing you till you felt like you were about to burst, he kissed you passionately before skipping off to tell his brother and Azul, you just stood there, confused as to why your boyfriend was so happy about the rock you gave him, i mean sure it was cool but was it that exciting for him? a couple hours later there was a knock on the door to the ramshackle dorm, you opened the door and say Floyd standing there frowning slightly

"do you know what a rock means"

you shook your head and you swear it looked like he was about to cry

"so you weren't asking me to marry you?"

you shook your head again, now understanding why he was so upset, you hugged him and kissed his cheek promising him to marry him one day, as soon as he heard that he was happy again, hugging and squeezing you all night long.

Jade: he was observing the mushroom he was growing, they had a strange mutation that he hadn't seen before and was eager to study, he was writing down the differences and comparing them to known mutations when suddenly you burst into his room clenching something in your hand, he turned to you smiling at you, he closed his mushroom guide and walked over to you, kissing your forehead and ruffling your hair, you hold out your hand and show a small smooth rock to him, he blushed, hugging you tightly

"are you aware of what your asking me?" he asked, his voice shacking lightly as he hugged you tighter, part of him wished you meant what mer-people mean when they give rocks, but he knows you arent used to the tradtions and culture in this world

he pulled away slightly and when he saw your confused face he smiled sadly "in merfolk culture you asked me to marry you" he chuckled as you blushed "i want to be the one to give you the rock dear" he mumbled into your hair he pulled away caressing your face before picking you up and taking you to the couch to cuddle.

Azul: he was in his office doing paper work and for the cafe, he was stressed, his hand was starting to cramp from the amout of writing he had been doing. the door to his office opened and you entered, his eyes lit up as he say you, your presence always made him feel better.

"hello my love"

he smiled at you softly, he open his arms for a hug and you wasted no time crawling into his lap and hugging him tightly, he kissed your shoulder, you reached into your pocket and handed him a pretty rock you had found earlier, his faced flushed with a blush

"m-my love? i- i mean y-yes ill marry you, but at least meat my family first, do you have a venue in mind? a dress? i can help you look- wait your not proposing? oh... you dont know do you"

as disappointed as he was that he wasn't going to marry you he chuckled and laughed

"my beloved your little rock was a proposal of marriage"

he smirked at you, watching as you face as you realized what you had done, he kissed you shoulder and cheek again

a couple days later when you walk into his office you she the rock you gave him on the shelf behind his desk, it was in a glass container, when you asked Azul all he said was

You were debating on the kinds of flowers to give him, and you weren't sure if you should go with red or pink. In the end, you went with the one that meant admiration in flower language - pink daisies!

Ace was one of your closest friends, and though he could be a troublemaker, how he stood up for his friends was admirable. You still remembered how he stood up for all those poor Heartslabyul students when Riddle was going overly strict with the rules.

You approach him one day, with a small bouquet of pink daisies in hand and he waves at you.

"Woah, what's this? Some special occasion?" he asks, leaning closer to you. "Ah no, it's for you actually, like a thank you for helping me out and for being a good friend," you reply, handing it to him.

He's so touched honestly, and you probably boosted his ego haha. But overall, he's really happy, and the fact you went out of your way to get it for him makes him feel really good inside. "Hey if you wanted to date me you could always just ask," he joked, lightly punching you on your arm.

Overall, you'll see him put the flowers in a vase or a makeshift vase (ie large cup or bottle) in his dorm room if you visit him. He plans on giving you something soon as well!

Deuce

You knew you had to give him flowers, but which one? You walked into the flower shop and your eyes immediately caught sight of bluebells, meaning gratitude or humility. You did want to give Deuce some flowers as thank you, so you went with it right away.

Deuce was like Ace to you as both of them helped you settle into Twisted Wonderland when you first stumbled in. Sure he wasn't the most powerful magic user or anything, but his constant care for you and how much he helped you out just meant you had to give him something in return!

He had asked you to hang out with him after school in the courtyard to just chat and you thought this was the perfect chance.

"Flowers? They look really nice," he smiles at you when the two of you meet up, plopping down next to you on the grass. "Oh yeah, they're for you. It's a 'thank you,' for helping me out so much this year."

He's shocked, he didn't think you would give him flowers! "A-ah, um, well, t-thank you so much prefect! It is an honor!" he stammers while receiving them. "No no, I should be thanking you for everything you've helped me with," you laugh.

He's so happy, and honestly so grateful that you think of him in such a good way. He probably feels extreme gratitude to you too since you also helped him navigate around the school. He'll display the flowers in a vase like Ace!

You didn't know what kind of flower to give him, honestly you wanted to give him something for being such a good friend. You eventually decided to go with yellow roses - meaning friendship!

Jack was distant from you at first, but after all that happened in the Magishift Tournament and the whole Octavinelle exam event, the two of you were close. He was very caring, and always looked out for you and your health. You had to thank him!

Eventually you decide to find him during his morning jog. You saw him heading back to his dorm and that was when you decided to run up to him with the flowers.

"Hello y/n, it's nice to see-hm? Flowers?" you can see Jack's ears perk up a bit when he sees the small bouquet. "Yeah, these are for you!"

He definitely knows what the flowers mean, and he's absolutely touched by this. "I-I really appreciate it, thank you so much." He stammers out as he receives the flowers. "I really appreciate being friends with you too," he adds on, and you simply smile at him, happy that he knew what the flowers meant.

He won't show much after that, but you can tell he was super happy with the way his tail kept wagging so fast. He'll take good care of the flowers of course, and he'll give you some flowers in return too!

Epel

You knew you had to get him flowers, though you weren't sure which ones would fit him the best. A lot of purple flowers happened to mean things like beauty, or royalty, etc. Then, you found the purple freesia, meaning friendship!

Epel was someone you at first weren't sure if you would be friends with but during the VDC event and the many times he came by to Ramshackle afterwards, the two of you became close friends. He liked that he could be himself around you (away from Pomefiore's beauty regime honestly) and you enjoyed his company in return.

He happened to show up again to your dorm when you were going to text him to meet up so you could give the flowers. So, you went to the door and opened it up, flowers in hand to give him.

"Ah! What's this for? Did you get them from someone?" he asked, and you shake your head while laughing lightly. "No, I'm actually giving them to you, as a thank you for being my friend."

He receives them and politely smiles at you. "Thank you so much, I'm very lucky to have a friend like you too. What am I saying I'm super happy to have a buddy like you!" his voice changes from something soft to his usual more casual way as he fist bumps you.

The two of you hang out and he says goodbye after the sun goes down, flowers in his hand. He'll try to take care of it, but I don't know if he owns a vase ;-;. Vil might spot them and help him out though!

Sebek

This intimidating man, you wanted to give him flowers but what would suit him the most? You weren't sure if green flowers would do well, so you ended up going with a bunch of colors of one flower type that you thought he would like - gladiolus!

Gladiolus is a symbol of strength of character or loyalty, things you were sure he held in high regard. He also was like that with you, always being honest with you and though Malleus would always come first, he was still a loyal friend. T-thank you so much, I-I am grateful to have you as a friend as well!" he bows, you can see he's a bit embarrassed but nonetheless very happy. He holds onto the flowers tightly and you decide to depart right after that, telling him that you're glad you liked them but before you can take another step back someone hanging from upside down stops you.

"My, how kind of you! I'm glad Sebek's made a friend," LIlia smiles at you and you almost fall over. Before the first year can say anything, Lilia puts a hand on your shoulder. "Why not stay for a bit? You just got here anyways!" You end up staying in the dorm for a bit, and after that event you find out Sebek has kept the flowers in a vase near his Malleus portrait.

Riddle Rosehearts immediately turns as red as his hair. He apologizes profusely for assuming you’d be up for a cheek kiss and you have to resist the urge to hug him. You tell him to calm down, that it was a joke. His relief is evident, but you can tell there’s something else on his mind as he stares at you, so you offer him your cheek again.

Trey Clover apologizes immediately, his cheeks flushed pink. This is one of the only times you’ll ever see him rattled, slightly embarrassed that you’d dodged his display of affection. He shakes it off pretty easily though, much to your chagrin. Smooch him.

Cater Diamond knows what you’re playing at. He holds your face still and gives you two big smooches on your cheeks, telling you he loves you before rushing off to class. He’s going to dodge you the next time you try to kiss him as payback.

Deuce Spade looks heartbroken. He apologizes and vows to ask before doing anything like that next time. He asks if he’s made you uncomfortable or if anything is wrong, and when you tell him it’s a joke he gets so relieved. Don’t scare him like that again!

Ace Trappola whines incessantly. Anyone would be lucky to kiss him and you just dodged him! Like he was chopped liver! Is that what he is to you? Huh!? It’s hilarious because he will not SHUT UP until you give him Two (2) kisses to make up for the one he missed and the time he spent lamenting over it.

Leona Kingscholar narrows his eyes and stares at you. You pretend you don’t notice, continuing to walk inside your classroom that he’d so kindly walked you to. Except he doesn’t leave. “Herbivore.” Leona calls, and even though he didn’t touch you, you freeze. “You forgot something.”

Jack Howl assumes you’re not in the mood and shrugs it off. Well, that’s what it would seem like if you weren’t an expert in Jack Howl Communications. His ears are lowered and his tail isn’t wagging as much anymore, and you know it’s because he’s worried. The next time you see him, you cup his face and give him a kiss on the cheek, just to watch him perk up again.

Ruggie Bucchi’s ears flatten almost immediately. He immediately assumes he’s done something wrong and starts bringing you a bunch of snacks to make up for it. He’s laughing on the outside but dying on the inside. He will literally only touch you again when you initiate or until you tell him it’s a joke.

Azul Ashengrotto wants to run away, and he almost does. The world crashes around him and his mind immediately runs to his octopot and all the mockery he faced and how you are the last person he wants to see him that way. You immediately notice that the small joke hurt his feelings in a way that you never wanted to hurt him, and grab his face to kiss him gently. “I’m sorry honey. You were going to miss.” you murmur as you pull away, rubbing circles on his cheek with your thumb, “Had to make sure you didn’t.”

Jade Leech pretends to be wounded. He refuses to accept any affection from you for the next five hours because you broke his heart so bad. Maybe next time you’ll think before you deny the eel the attention he rightfully deserves!! If you try anything, he’ll dodge it with a “oh, I’m sorry. I’m busy. Come back later.” JADE STOP.

Floyd Leech is another whiner. You dodge his kisses, he’ll pout and whine for hours. No amount of kisses you give him to make up for it will be enough. Ten, fifteen, twenty kisses, on his forehead, cheeks, or lips…won’t be enough. He will hold this over your head.

Scarabia

Kalim Al-Asim blue screens and tries to figure out what he did wrong. He apologizes quickly and asks if you want him to keep his distance from you today. He doesn’t phrase it in a dramatic way like some of the students on this list. Instead, his words are genuine and warm, with only your comfort in mind. He’s very observant so he’ll be able to tell if you really do want your space!

Jamil Viper rolls his eyes and goes about his day. He immediately assumes that you’re playing a prank on him, and he fully intends to do what you did to him but doubled. You lean in for a kiss the next day, he dodges it. You try to hold his hand, he moves it at the last second. Just apologize, he’s so petty.

Pomfiore

Vil Schoenheit narrows his eyes and stares at you. He doesn’t like playing your silly little games and will immediately ask if that's what you’re doing. No matter your response, he rolls his eyes and lets it go. If you want any of his affection, you’re going to have to initiate next time.

Rook Hunt doesn’t realize you’ve dodged until his lips don’t land on yours. He’s already closed his eyes when he stumbles a bit, his eyes flying open in surprise. You stand behind him with a mischievous little smile, and he immediately knows what you’re doing. He cries out some monologue about your cruelty before giving you a forehead kiss.

Epel Felmier narrows his eyes and refuses to give you kisses after that. His ego is hurt and you’re responsible! You’re going to need to promise to never do it again and give him a kiss to make up for it. How dare you make him out to be a fool!

Idia Shroud wants to crawl into a hole and die. He finally gained the courage to kiss you goodbye for the second time this week, and you dodged him! That was so cringe he thinks he’s going to explode. He only feels a little bit better when you grab his face and kiss him twice - one on each cheek.

Sebek Zigvolt jumps away, his face flaming red. He immediately starts yelling about how he wasn’t trying to give you a forehead kiss, he was just checking over your shoulder to make sure nobody was about to attack you! Cup his cheek and kiss his forehead - watch him get even redder.

Silver blinks slowly before nodding, telling you he understands and he hopes you have a good lesson. Assuming you want your distance, Silver doesn’t initiate any affection for the rest of the day unless you give him explicit permission.

Lilia Vanrouge follows your dodge and lands a kiss on you anyway. He laughs loudly at your surprise, booping you on the nose before practically bouncing off to his next class. If you want to give him a kiss, he’s going to dodge and stick his tongue out at you now.
