Me a month ago: I'm so in love! I want kids and four cats! Big house with me wife! Wind chimes and pretty dresses
Me now: blocking EVERY. SINGLE. happy WLW couple on my fyp. crying on my knees on my (concrete) floor. Unable to look at happy couples WLW or not without wanting to sob uncontrollably. Literally wanting to rip my fucking hair out whenever I see my brother in law kissing his girlfriend. PHYSICALLY unable to listen to certain songs.

Let me tell you bout some of my favorite LPS i own
First off in number order we got
Bull terrier
When i first got my hands on him, from a large haul at a salvation army i used to work at as a kid with my grandma, i thought he was a bootleg because he didn't have the LPS signia and had a weird square hole in him. But apparently he's official
Tumblr media
Squirrel #484
I've had her ever since i was a kid. Her neck is a lil dingy and her head always seems to end up turned all the way around but i love her. In school my friends always used to call her a skunk
Tumblr media
German Shepard #491
This little lad is called Jamien! I love him. He's just my Lil sick son 🥺
Tumblr media
Grey hound #507
His name is sporty. Hes best friends with my saint Bernard named snowy. They're like a cop duo or something

Saint Bernard #729

Tumblr media
Lamb #879
This lil baby has been with me ever since i could remember! A lot of my old ones I've had for absolutely ages and i have no idea where i got them from. I think I've had them before i was conscious of life. Like under 5
Tumblr media
Giraffe #943
I remember buying this one from a toys r us, it was a good day that day i think
Tumblr media
Ferret #957

For now tho, I did one of your child Jamien! I really like this lps and think they look super rad. I went for a bit of a star theme here as you can tell. Felt like it fit somehow. Either way, I really hope you like it and thanks for sending some requests!! ⭐️💫

I’d kill for a novelization of the Saints Row games. Writer rambling ahead.
I’m rewriting Free Falling. This is Jamien’s cover. I have Shaundi’s and Pierce’s covers ready but Gat’s needs another attempt. Needs a few tweaks but I’d be okay with it being on the shelf in a bookstore. I’m not sure I want to keep the title the same this time around. I’m pursuing my Bachelors in Creative Writing so I’m applying the things I’ve learned (like this gem from D4Darious) to make a stronger story with more compelling characters.
Other Saints Row fanfic writers/readers are encouraged to follow me and leave an ask to follow you back. As a member of the Third Street Authors, I’d love to have a writer’s circle here on Tumblr where we can hang out and help each other.
Inspired by G-Eazy’s “Him & I” with Halsey right now. I can see Jamien and Denitra being their own version of Joker and Harley Quinn. <3

We Asked 12 Bartenders: What’s the Most Underrated Bourbon?
Tumblr media
In October 2019, the Kentucky Distillers’ Association (KDA) announced that the number of barrels of bourbon and aging spirits in the state had officially overtaken the number of inhabitants. It’s an incredible statistic, and one that we can all agree deserves a fitting toast.
But rather than reach for your go-to bourbon, or even pour a dram of that special bottle you have stashed away, why not seek out a lesser-poured brand that doesn’t receive the attention it deserves?
To help you discover something new (perhaps even the next Pappy?), VinePair asked bartenders around the nation: What’s the most underrated bourbon on the market? Here’s what they recommend grabbing next time you’re on the hunt.
“I love me some Old Grand-Dad Bonded. It’s incredible in cocktails — both stirred and shaken — and [retails] at an incredible price point. I’m even reluctant to share my opinion here, as I don’t want the price to go up.” — Erick Castro, Co-founder, Raised By Wolves and Polite Provisions, San Diego, CA
“I am a longtime fan of Buffalo Trace. It’s such [a] solid bet to drink on the rocks or in an Old Fashioned. It has the comforting vanilla and baking spice notes expected from bourbon, and a great structure.” — Meaghan Dorman, Bar Director/Partner, Dear Irving on Hudson, New York, NY
“Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond — $15 a liter, 100 proof, and four years old. [It’s] good enough to mix, drink straight, or bring to a party and not get mad if you forget to grab what’s left on the way out.” — Justin Simko, Bar Manager, The Bar at Husk, Charleston, SC
“The most underrated bourbon at the moment is J.T.S. Brown Bottled-in-Bond. It’s a killer table bourbon, meaning it’s less than 20 bucks a bottle. It has no age statement, but [that means] it’s at least four years by law. … This is a damn fine bargain bourbon. If you’re ever in Kentucky put this one on your shopping list.” — Jamien Tomlinson, Beverage Director, High Horse, Raleigh, NC
“After working [at the] most recent WhiskeyFest, I’m surprised at the number of people that haven’t tried, or, even worse, associate a stigma with Wild Turkey 101. I think that for being one of the best bourbons on the market, it really doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.” — Thomas Spaeth, Head Bartender, Raines Law Room, New York, NY
“Evan Williams bonded is totally underrated. This is a bottle that [retails] at well pricing [and] has amazing balance, with baking spice and vanilla notes and a smooth finish.” — Lucas Huff, Mixology Director, Bently Heritage Estate Distillery, Minden, NV
“Ancient Age 10 Star is one that gets ignored quite often. The plastic half-gallon is probably a turn-off for some, but it’s actually a pretty good whiskey. I keep some at my house.” — Matt Catchpole, General Manager, Terra, Columbia, SC
“One of my favorite and underrated bourbons is Noah’s Mill, a product of the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, KY. It’s overproof bourbon that is extremely complex and rich. [It makes] a perfect option for your Manhattan, which ideally should be served up. If this bourbon [is] served neat, my suggestion would be to use several drops of water to cut the ABV level and open up all the aromatics.” — Slava Borisov, Mixologist, Travelle at The Langham, Chicago, IL
“I’d honestly have to go with Wild Turkey on this one. … While the product has earned itself a bit of a rough and tumble reputation over the years (it was Hunter S. Thompson’s whiskey of choice, usually consumed in large tumblers so it looked like iced tea), Wild Turkey is one of, if not the best, value-for-money [bourbons] on the market today. Personally, I prefer the 101 because I can add water, and I am generally of the opinion that higher-proof American whiskeys tend to bring more to the party when used in cocktails.” — Jim Kearns, Beverage Director, Golden Age Hospitality, New York, NY
“Eagle Rare 10-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon is definitely my first choice as an underrated bourbon. While most bourbon drinkers focus their attention on the Eagle Rare 17-year — an excellent bourbon that is extremely difficult to get — the 10-year variation delivers great complexity of aromas, deep flavors, and maturity. … Eagle Rare 10-year’s price is approachable and can be found at most bars, making it the perfect dram for all occasions.” — David Orellana, Beverage Director, Seaport District’s Pier 17, New York, NY
“Old Grand-Dad Bonded. It’s four years old, 100 proof, and the granddad himself (Basil Hayden) looks on lovingly as you pour the contents into a glass, before retreating to the living room to hit play on your favorite streaming service. It has enough backbone to stand up in shaken or stirred cocktails, and the price point gives it legs on any menu. Why try to find your Pappy, when your granddad has been here the whole time?” — Josh Gandee, Beverage Director at Watershed Kitchen + Bar, Columbus, OH
“This one is hard because there are tons of amazing bourbons out there that outshine some of the more well-known brands. Four Roses Single Barrel [is] amazing on the rocks [and has] a higher-rye mash bill, so you get that spiciness. [It’s also] incredible stirred in a Manhattan or Old Fashioned because the higher rye bill doesn’t get lost [with] vermouth or dilution. I call it my ‘blanket’ bourbon because it covers it all.” — Robert Barceló III, Head Bartender, Simon & The Whale, New York, NY

(( THERE SHE IS...... the girl the lady the wonderful gal i’ve been working on since,, forever :’3c ))
(( i’ll be posting more about her; sketches and all that, and once i have the time i’ll be finishing up the info/ref for her stand! more info under the cut~ ))
[ Name; Tullia Una *Goes by Jamien Valent*
[ Gender; Female *Identification shows male*
[ Age: 19 *Identification shows 17*
[ Universe; Steel Ball Run
[ Horse; 4 y/o Piebald Paint; Quarter horse, stallion
|
Tullia Una is a young, outgoing, and determined woman participating in the Steel Ball Run race. She illegally immigrated here, completely changed her identity, and participated for many other reasons than simply getting the prize money from the race. This her story.
|
Tullia was born fairly middle class, but once her father left, herself and her mother had to work in the poorer parts of Italy. They were taken in by a lawyer; but, he was rather abusive, and unkind to herself and her mother. After a few years, her mother grew sickly due to unknown causes. Between the mistreatment and being so desperate to help her mother, she escaped with her beloved companion of a few years, 'Tangerine Dream', a rather shy stallion she'd taken from the local farm. She came here at only 18; now 19, she takes up the identity of a 17 year old, male racer named Jamien Valent. She has not yet seen her stand; but briefly, during her panicked escape on a rainy night from the home with Tangerine-- she saw a figure as she turned back. It was there for a moment, looking down at her almost kindly, then it was gone. She hasn't seen it since.

interested to know whats the Specific Vibe you think spommy/shaymien/amangela/other ships you like give off aside from the usual “friends to lovers/same brain” tropes!! i feel like i have descriptive vibes that explain why i like their dynamic
HMMMM okay i know Exactly what you mean. there was a post like this that went around Ages ago (different time, different ships, different fandom really) and i wouldn't know where to find it even if i tried so kudos to them, but this is My Take on the vibes of a few of my faves:
(EDIT: ya know on second read through of your ask im not sure this is what you wanted. i can reblog with full actual thoughts later perhaps)
spommy: late-night dinners, ill-timed laughter, sharing clothes, cupping someone's face, cozy nights in, music in a quiet apartment, being taken care of
shaymien: greasy diner food, high top converse, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, playing video games until your eyes hurt, bulletin board memories, passed notes, the color green
amangela: rom-coms, scrunchies, neon colors, arguing over nothing (but knowing it's not really an argument), the sound of a party from the next room, laying your head on someone's shoulder and closing your eyes, drinks in dive bars
courtivia: lemonade, pinky promises, red lipstick on your cheek, sunrises, talking on the phone for hours, whispered secrets at a sleepover, long summer days
koah: lingering hugs, shotgunning, love at first sight, car rides to wherever, sitting in the back of a movie theater, sneaking out to see each other, laughter that stems from nothing
shackie: fallen leaves in autumn, reading aloud to each other, slow-dancing in your kitchen, candlelight, quiet teasing to make someone blush, fresh red roses, giving someone your jacket when they look cold
kimney: the smell of cookies in the oven, notes in your lunch, the beach, the color yellow, doing something nice just because, overalls, smiling into a kiss
jamien: love letters, pressed flowers, a hand on your waist, journal entries, petrichor, uncertain confessions, intertwining fingers
choah: knees pressed underneath the table, pop music blasting from the radio, twilight hours, sour candy, itching to touch someone, the hollow of your throat, the smell of bubblegum
arangela: shared smirks, conversations that keep you up, a full moon, takeout food, feeling like fate is guiding you, glitter, dancing under flashing lights
ianthony: sweaters, comfort foods, laying down face-to-face, the feeling of coming home, inside jokes, sunlight filtering through a window, coffee in the morning

Position Breakdown - DB
The 5th and final preseason preview is here, detailing the defensive backs. The season has already begun according to last weekend’s hard-to-watch warm-up games - but it officially begins tonight with multiple Power 5 teams in action! So I’m going to write briefly about our DBs with a 2 word summary of our special teams, then wrack my brain for a special prognostication post tomorrow night... then... drum roll please... Auburn Football is here Saturday. It truly is the best time of the year.
Losing an elite player like cornerback Carlton Davis, as well as two long-time veterans at safety in Tray Matthews and Stephen Roberts, led many in the media to believe the secondary will be a weakness for the team. I tend to believe differently when looking at the overall talent on the two-deep across all 5 positions. Most teams in today’s era of spread offenses play with 5 defensive backs on the field the majority of snaps, and Auburn features a balanced blend of talent, experience, speed and size. Let’s take a closer look at the featured players you can expect a lot from this season.
STARTERS
CB - Noah Igbinoghene / 5’11 195 / Sophomore
Nickelback - Javaris Davis / 5’10 190 / Junior
FS - Jeremiah Dinson / 6’0 195 / Junior
SS - Daniel Thomas / 5’11 215 / Junior
CB - Jamel Dean / 6’2 210 / Junior
Of this group, all three corners have elite speed. Igbinoghene is 1 of 3 Auburn players that also compete for the AU Track and Field team, and is the holder of more than his fair share of State track records. Dean is physical and lengthy, but has the speed to run with anyone, while Javaris Davis is a pure ballhawk. All 4 of the Juniors in the secondary were handpicked by Will Muschamp in the short stint he had on the Plains as defensive coordinator, so it’s no shock that they’re all playing at a high level. Jeremiah Dinson’s injury history and Daniel Thomas’s lack of high-end coverage skills are areas of concern.
2ND TEAM
CB - John Broussard / 5’11 180 / Junior
Nickleback - Jordyn Peters / 6’1 190 / Sophomore
FS - Smoke Monday / 6’2 190 / Freshman
SS - Jamien Sherwood / 6’2 210 / Freshman
CB - Christian Tutt / 5’11 195 / Freshman
This is where the 2018 secondary separates itself from the 2017 unit. The 3 freshmen found here on the official depth chart are 3 future NFL guys that will see substantial playing time. The talent in this wave will keep WR-heavy teams like Ole Miss and Bama from creating mismatches late in the game. Although unproven, everyone from defensive coordinator Kevin Steele to various ESPN personalities believe this unit brings a level of talent that Auburn hasn’t seen in the defensive backfield in over 10 years.
GUYS TO WATCH
Noah Igbinoghene has the mental makeup of a veteran leader, not of a transplanted wide receiver and true sophomore that he is. He doesn’t shy away from contact according to coaches, and he has the ball skills necessary to snag interceptions and jump balls in traffic. Expect teams on the front half of the schedule to try to test him, with teams on the back half learning to look away from his man/zone.
Christian “King” Tutt may very well be the first 2nd-teamer off the bench Saturday afternoon. He’s that talented. While just a true freshman, he was an early enrollee that was allowed to practice with the team in bowl preparation and be a full participant in Spring Training. A really well-built kid that is as agile as he is strong, he won’t lack confidence when he steps onto the field this weekend.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Anders Carlson.
(SEC-record holder Daniel Carlson’s brother, who also happens to be 6’5 with a cannon for a leg. Buckle up for year 5 of an 8-year reign of Carlson kickers at Auburn.)
SUMMARY
Experienced playmakers, talented freshmen, speedy cover men and rangy enforcers: Auburn has it all. This secondary isn’t the best in the conference - and is still a year of fantastic recruiting away from equaling Bama, LSU and UGA - but it is the most capable unit we’ve had under Gus Malzahn. There will be bumps in the road early in the season as the young guys find their way, but by November Auburn will have a defensive backfield capable of giving us a chance to repeat last season’s magical November run. I believe it will happen again.
War Eagle! Beat Washington!

3-star safety Jamien Sherwood thinks he could climb depth chart quickly at Auburn
AUBURN, Ala. – If three-star safety Jamien Sherwood ultimately commits and signs with Auburn, early playing time will be a big reason why. Sherwood told GN at Auburn’s Big Cat Weekend on Saturday that he believes he could climb the depth chart quickly with the Tigers. “This school and some others have a low depth […] The post 3-star safety Jamien Sherwood thinks he could climb depth chart quickly…

can you rec some of your favorite smosh fics? i'd love to read some while prepping for domo!!
OH BOY it is my Time to Shine!! i have so many but i'll try to keep it short and sweet
honestly every fic in the spommy tag is a gift and i cannot hype them up enough BUT to narrow it down, i'll do my fave fics from each of my fave authors: just to talk by ancientvamp, maybe my animals live in your zoo by creepysounds, congrats on being sluts! by miss_soupy, and trust fall by halfwheeze (nsfw warning on this one). these are my BELOVEDS. i hold these fics so close and reread them Constantly. i can talk ab each of them individually if you want but im sure we all knew i was gonna post these ones LNDKNLNF
just to cure it ('cause i can't ignore it if it's love) by visiteroda is a shaymien fic that's SOOOO sweet, it captures damien's pov so well and i LOVE a good 'didn't know they were dating' trope so gotta rec this one
it’s a risk (but babe, i need the thrill) by baflegacy bc i will NEVER stop singing this fics praises!!! i simply will not!!! THE amangela fic. to Me. so in character, so well written, SUCH a fun read!!
flickers by ubemacapuno, which is another shaymien fic and a classic imo. it just so effortlessly captures the transition between friends to lovers. it also captures shayne and damien's voices really well and its so good
timeless by lilacfoxes is SO good and SO fun. y'all know i don't really go around reading ianthony fic but i saw this like out of the blue in the smosh tag Months ago and was so delighted by the concept that i had to read it. angela is so silly and the ianthony dynamic is so wonderful i had to re-share
someday soon by stackofhay - another one i will never shut the fuck up about. it is absolutely no SECRET that this is one of my favorite fics of all time. characterization, writing style, inner voice, dialogue, internal monologue - it is ALL so good. not to mention, a JAMIEN FIC? that's written from JACKIES POV? i have literally NEVER seen another fic from her pov. this fic is revolutionary. a must-read!!!
okay, that's enough from lil ole me. i hope you enjoy!! <3333

thank you for making me feel better abt sending u so many asks🫶
also I acc LOVE the idea of a disgruntled english teacher at lunch that's wild but so accurate
thanks for that shaynse shout out absolutely so giddy now🫡
Also was wondering how u would match up the smoshcast with Taylor albums?
Some of my ideas (more vibes then lyrics):
Red - Amanda (maybe its the scarves)
1989 - Angela
Reputation - Arasha
Folklore - Ian
Evermore - Tommy
Midnights - Courtney
BONUS I think if shaynse were an album they'd be evermore (based off vibe alone, not necessarily lyrics)
EXTRA BONUS if shaynse were an artist they would be cigarettes after sex
(Would love to hear what albums/artists you associate with spommy and any other ships too)
-shaynse anon
absolutely any time!! honestly Thank You for sending so many asks these are always the highlights of my day i hope you all know.
NSDKLNFLKRNKL thank you so much. i feel like i just open my ask box like its my office door and i see six asks lined up in the hallway every morning and sigh and invite the kids in to eat. does this make sense. in no way do i want to be a fandom mom BUT a fandom english teacher all the gay kids think is cool? yeah okay i can get behind that
literally any time im incorporating it into asks now why? bc you're an icon and i love it
OH MY GOD YOUR MIND.... this is god tier thinking. tbh all of your takes are Perfect i couldn't have said it better myself. debut is so kimmy to me (idet i have to explain that one), fearless... fearless is tough... maybe damien??, speak now is jackie (it's My favorite album i get to gift it to one of My favorite cast members), and my hot take is that shayne IS lover. look at that mf. he's so lover coded. and then i agree with ALL of your ops. (folklore ian hits SO hard btw for no reason)
oh i LOVE that. willow.......... cowboy like me........ long story short...... i am seeing the vision here
i have never listened to a cigarettes after sex song but now im gonna have to omg
okay here are my off-the-cuff takes (i put them under the cut bc as always it got away from me):
spommy: 1989. i link them Inextricably with you are in love, style, new romantics, slut... they could be Any of these albums though tbh so this one is hard but yeah i think this one vibes the hardest for them
shaymien: LOVERRRR i will stand by this one forever and ever!! lover, daylight, ITS NICE TO HAVE A FRIEND.... oh my god. OHHHH my god.
amangela: red - they are giving stay, stay, stay, they are giving starlight, they are giving message in a bottle. extremely silly lil guys, very upbeat and high-energy, this album is for them
courtivia: they are midnights bc 1. hot girl bling they are both bejeweled and making the whole world shimmer 2. lavender haze and snow on the beach are them tyvm for coming to my tedtalk
shackie: they can have the honor of speak now. bc i like them <3 KLDFNFN no but also bc 'mine' but like. shayne pov. you made a rebel of a careless man's reckless son!!! enchanted. ours. i can see you. i literally could go on but i won't and save us all some headache LMAO
kimney: soupy said they were early taylor the other day and i SO agree with her. im going debut... smth smth im only me when im with you and our song !!
jamien: fearless... smth about the classic love story vibe that album gives off is SO them. honestly even just love story alone makes this their album. but today was a fairytale, hey stephen... yeah very that
arangela: they get to be my OTHER fave, reputation, and here is why: reputation reads as very Newly but Deeply in love to me, like the feeling is fresh and exciting but still grounding, and that is how they read to me. gorgeous is for them, end game is for them, but dress is REALLY for them.
ianthony: FOLKLORE im feeling ill just thinking about it. seven.... august..... OH MY GOD INVISIBLE STRING? im honestly on the floor about this one. i feel like a woman who was told to go rest in the countryside for her health.
