The Atlanteans were used by the gods to craft armors for their soldiers during centuries. But one day the gods feared the Atlanteans’ talent and growing power who dared to defy the gods. Poseidon engulfed Atlantis under the seas and has since used its ruins as a palace. Some Atlanteans survived and hid in several places in the world, often merging with other humans over the centuries.

Alin was born in Tibet. She grew up in an Atlantean city hidden in the Himalayan mountains. When Alin was 10, her parents' best friends had a baby named Kiki. A few years later, his gold saint cosmos began to be felt. At the Sanctuary, the Pope could not let this child be contacted by his enemies. He sent Cancer DeathMask to kill Kiki’s parents and bring him to the Sanctuary. On that day the two couples of friends and their children were together. Deathmask killed all four, but Kiki’s mother had time to teleport him safely. Alin watched the whole scene, hidden in a closet …

During the following years Alin was raised by her abusive uncle who appropriated her inheritance. Fortunately she found joy in following Atla’s formation to become an Atlantean guardian. She learned to use her psychic powers, but also sciences, languages, philosophy and astrology.

At 16 she decided to search for Kiki. Following the testimony and their weak empathic bond, she found him in Jamir. She met Mu. A young romance arose between the two teenagers and during the years that followed she lived between the Tower of Atla and Jamir. She completed her apprenticeship and then managed to obtain justice against her uncle and recover her properties.

Alin remembers the knight of Athena who killed her parents. She took it badly when Mu told her that he is a Saint and he forms Kiki to become one as well. Mu also introduced her to Dohko and the young Shiryu. She understood that the situation at the Sanctuary was complicated and never confessed to Mu and Kiki that a saint had killed their parents.

Canon Universe: Mu and everyone else dies. Alin doesn't want anything to do with the Sanctuary anymore. She stays in Jamir and tries to convince Kiki to give up his knight cloth even though it will never happen.

Everyone lives universe: After all the wars Alin meets the other Knights. She gets along well with most of them. However she doesn't agree with the Sanctuary training methods. She finally forgives Saga and Deathmask after an angry argument and confessions. She became Atla’s assistant to teach other young Atlanteans.

For the concept, I saw that you wanted art that compared early and modern eras and maybe a Reilly cameo, and I thought that would be a great idea to explore because all the versions of them are SO cute.

I couldn't fit in genderbend or spider-man AU, so I kind of just put elements of that with LA Amir crossdressing and a "spider-man" esque kiss HAHA <3

I want to wish you a happy holidays and a warm and cozy winter with these drawings. I don't know you well, but it's super cool there is another AJR fan in the JandA tumblr space! My favorite songs from the Maybe Man album is Steve's Going to London, Touchy Feely Fool, Maybe Man and Inertia. :)) Hope we get to interact more over the rest of our times here!
