An encounter is taking place between terrorists and security forces in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army has issued a statement saying that two soldiers were killed and three others were injured in this encounter.

The injured soldiers have been evacuated from the spot and sent for treatment. Two civilians have also been injured due to indiscriminate firing by terrorists and they are also undergoing treatment. Last year also an encounter took place in the same area in which two soldiers including an army officer were killed.
