🎄 New recipe! 🤶 last week, I had a conversation over the phone with my dad (5 states away) about the “shortbread-style cookies with jam in the middle” and after interviewing him at great length, researching and trying out some things, I recreated them with some modern day options (if you need them). The part I love about these is using a thimble to make a well for the jam party way through cooking! I love a recipe that makes me dig through my sewing box, lol! 🧵🪡 (of course, you can use the tip of your thumb too 😉) I can just imagine my dad coming home and his mom having these ready and enjoying them together while talking about their day.
