it's so hard to enjoy a show when the villain is yet again the only person with an eastern european accent

#disenchantment #jane the virgin too #but im specifically talking about disenchantment here #i wanna enjoy this so bad but it's just not good....................#the protag is annoying to me but i dont hate her #but my issue is #queen oona #why does she have an eastern european accent #it doesnt even make sense outside of the 'eastern european is evil' trope #like #even within the kingdom #some ppl have british scottish american etc accents #so why couldnt she have one like that #it's already established that she's not from there so she doesn't need an accept change #esp when the giants and the elves don't have an accent change #it's just ridiculous #makes me wanna root for queen oona just bc she's been wronged #ive heard she gets redeemed later #but the show still relies on stupid stereotypes to get the audience against her in the beginning #i cant forgive that #time to stop watching ig

guys i genuinely don't know what to do. my quirky little destiel fic which was already far too long to begin with now has a second smaller fic nested inside of it and somehow the second smaller fic is the absolute crackfest of this supernatural/tazamnesty crossover where dean lowkey hooks up with barclay the bigfoot and i don't KNOW what to DO. do i cut the scene. do i post it separately. do i post it separately but ALSO leave it in the fic. do i just pretend like barclay is an OC i made up and all the references to the fictional town of kepler west virginia are incidental. WHAT IS THE MOVE HERE

not too sound cinema sins-y, i almost always love a mean girls reference, but enids tour makes it seem like evermore is specifically a school for these four different supernatural creatures, when clearly that’s not the case.

also the world building is kind of vague about how much supernatural stuff “normies” are aware of & accept… this could potentially be an interesting choice or it could be messy.

sometimes it’s kind of tedious but sometimes it’s kind of charming, anyway it’s definitely For Teenagers, but overall i find wednesday & enid compelling enough to start the next episode

#wednesday lb #not to sound cinema sinsy again but it DID look like gwendolyn christie was looking at wednesday in her rear view mirror as she was escaping #*not a real tom kha bc i didn’t have the right ingredients but basically a coconut milk tofu soup with these ornamental thai chilis #which weren’t even THAT spicy but i think are now giving me terrible heartburn? that or i used too much garlic #**she played kid jane villanueva in jane the virgin which i didn’t know until i was looking at her imdb
