Jaqueline hadn't thought about Franco at all today, she was finally moving on with her life. It was all because of Robert, and she was thrilled with being able to ring in the new year with him. Things were finally starting to go in the right direction for her and she couldn't be happier.

While Francesca was busy working on one of her interior design projects Franco headed to Brindleton Bay to meet up with Jaqueline. He had missed her and just had to take the chance to see her.

They met up for a drink and then headed over to her place for a little fun.

Franco was home in time to make a beautiful dinner for his wife Francesca after her long day at work.

Franco seemed a little upset when he saw the engagement announcement of Jaqueline. She looks so happy.

Date night

Went for a walk after our dinner date and was totally surprised when Robert got down on one knee and proposed. Happiest night of my life.

After the surprise party, Jaqueline and Robert headed home. Robert was surprised again by the amazing watch Jaqueline gave him.

They flirted for a bit then Robert picked Jaqueline up and carried her to their bedroom. Jaqueline whispered in his ear. "I hope you're ready for your next Birthday gift!"

"SURPRISE!"

"Happy Birthday dear Robert, Happy Birthday to you!" Robert couldn't help but notice the rather large cake that was brought in as everyone was singing.

Robert was surprised when Jaqueline popped out of the cake and sang Happy Birthday in a very seductive voice.

Robert helped Jaqueline out of the large cake gave her a hug and thanked her for a wonderful surprise.

"The night's not over yet Robert, I'm full of surprises."

Everything was packed and it was time to move. After Franco, I didn't think that I would ever have a normal relationship. So when Robert asked me to move in with him it took a few minutes for it to sink in. Of course, I said yes.

I was so lucky to have found a man like Robert. Even after telling him about my last relationship with a man that was married he still wanted a relationship with me.

It was nice to finally be home. My home, our home.

Back to Robert's place for some hot chocolate which ended up being a makeout session. Eventually, we went upstairs.

Spending the night with the man I love, nothing better than that.

Robert and I had our ski date today. Had a great time, Robert is not only handsome but he's charming and has a great sense of humor as well. Definitely looking forward to spending more time getting to know him.

After our day of skiing, we headed back to Robert's place. Made some dinner together, drank some wine and of course lots of kissing. Perfect ending to an amazing day.

After the amazing Winterfest dinner that Jaqueline's mother had made, Robert invited Jaqueline over to his place for drinks with his brother and sister-in-law. Colten and his fiance wanted some alone time so it was only Jaqueline that ended up going over to Robert's for drinks. The four of them sat there talking and laughing well into the morning hours. It had turned out to be a pretty good day, it was nice to be happy for a change. After Robert's brother and sister-in-law left to go home it was just him and Jaqueline. She was so beautiful that he just had to kiss her again. He put his arm around her and pulled her closer and kissed her, he was happy when she kissed back. After making out for a bit Robert called a car to take Jaqueline home, but not before making plans to go skiing the next day.

Colten stood with his arms crossed and a concerned look on his face "Sis I know you're upset but I told you getting mixed up with him would only bring you misery." Jaqueline looked at him "Really Colten, I don't need a lecture I feel like shit as it is."

"Our guests have arrived, they don't really know anyone so I invited them for dinner. Have a seat Lane will get you a drink." Giselle looked at Jaqueline and motioned her to go sit beside Robert. Her mother meant well, but Jaqueline wasn't really in the mood for conversation, she sat beside Robert to make her mother happy.

Robert could see Jaqueline was not in a social mood but he had to put a smile on that beautiful face. "Let me say that we both have something in common. You don't know what I'm going to say, and well neither do I." Jaqueline couldn't help but smile as he continued talking. He was a very attractive man and seemed to have a wonderful sense of humor.

Just before everyone sat down to dinner Jaqueline's brother got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Antonia. Everyone was thrilled. Of course, the main topic of discussion during dinner was Colten and Antonia's engagement. However, Jaqueline and Robert seemed to be in their own little world, not hearing what anyone else around them was saying.

"Hi it's me, I know I haven't called in a few months. I've been thinking a lot you know, about everything."

Jaqueline was relaxing after a night out at her parents and thinking about all that had happened when her phone rang.

"Hi it's good to hear your voice. Is everything ok?"

Franco sighed "Well.... I've made a decision. I've been doing some soul-searching and I think it would be best if we didn't see each other anymore. I've hurt my wife once already and I love her very much and I don't want to hurt her again. I really hope you can understand Jaqueline." Franco didn't want to mention that he had seen her earlier because he did love her but wanted Jaqueline to have a relationship that she didn't have to hide.

"Uhm.... I figured something was going on because I haven't heard from you in so long. I understand Franco, deep down I knew it wouldn't last long. I'll miss you and I hope everything goes well with you and your wife."

"Take care, my gorgeous lady, I'll miss you Bye."

"Bye Franco." Jaqueline hung up her phone and placed her head in her hands, sad that her relationship with Franco was over. She knew it was for the best, but it still hurt.

It had been months since Jaqueline had heard from Franco, so a night out at her parent's Winterfest cocktail party was a welcome event. Robert who had recently purchased a rental property from her father was invited to her parent's party. He was instantly drawn to Jaqueline's beauty. With her firey red hair and amazing green eyes, he was hooked. Jaqueline and Robert spent most of the evening talking and flirting with one another. It had been a while since someone so handsome had paid attention to her.

After the party, Robert walked Jaqueline home. At that same moment, Franco had been able to slip away to see her. He watched from a distance as another man walked arm in arm with his mistress.

Robert walked Jaqueline to her door "I really enjoyed meeting you tonight and would love to get to know you better. Maybe I could take you out for dinner sometime."

Jaqueline blushed, which Robert found very attractive. "It was nice meeting you too. I would love to go for dinner, Robert."

Robert leaned in and kissed Jaqueline. "Goodnight beautiful, talk to you soon."

Franco had seen the entire thing between Jaqueline and this man. He was not happy that she had moved on. Maybe it was for the best, he did love his wife and at that moment he decided to let Jaqueline live her life without him. It was the right thing to do.

It's been a while since I last spoke with Jaqueline, so while out for my daily jog I stopped in town to make a call.

Franco: "Hey my gorgeous lady, it's been a while so good to hear that beautiful voice of yours. Miss you so much."

Jaqueline: "Oh baby it's so good to talk to you. I wish you were here with me, I miss you baby. When can we see each other again, It's so lonely in my bed."

Franco: "Soon my gorgeous lady, soon I promise. I need you in my arms badly, but I need to be careful. I don't want my wife to get suspicious again. I would lose my family's vineyard if she found out we were still in contact."

Jaqueline: "I know baby I understand, I just miss you so much. Just remember to be well rested when we can see each other, 'cause I am gonna ravage that body of yours baby so be prepared. Call me again when you can baby, love you." Franco: "Love you too my gorgeous lady, talk again soon."

Franco: "Hey my gorgeous lady, my wife found out about us. I really hate to do this, but we need to take a break for a little while." Jaqueline: "Oh baby, are you ok?"

Jaqueline: "I'm gonna miss you so much, but I know we have to do this. I'll wait for your call baby, I love you." Franco: "I love you too my gorgeous lady. I'll call you as soon as I can, I'm gonna miss you too."
