jaysteph? been seeing that around again

Hey anon, sorry this took so long, I have been super busy!!!

How do much do I ship it?:

Never heard of it/ Notp / Dislike / used to ship / maybe / ship it / aww / otp / IS IT CANON YET? 

I’m assuming this means Jason Todd and Stephanie Brown. Personally, I’m not a fan of it in a romantic sense but I am here for it as a BrOTP!! If Jason gets some good character development in canon and DC starts doing right by Stephanie Brown again, they could potentially have some good bonding moments! I’ll answer the below questions from the perspective of a BrOTP  

What non sexual activities do they like to do together?

Pranks. Lots of Pranks. They prank each other and everyone else.

Who does chores around the house?

Jason. Definitely Jason.

Who’s the better cook?

Jason.

Who’s the funniest drunk?

Oh Stephanie would be. She would get some diabolical idea to toilet paper her dad’s secret lair (@dyketectivecomics for inspiring this idea in an unrelated discussion via discord)

Do they have kids?

No. However, since this is being answered as a BrOTP thing I can see Jason being the crazy fun uncle to any kids Steph has and Steph being the awesome, cool, fun aunt to any kid’s Jason has

Do they have any traditions?

They organize the annual Bat Kids and Friends Snowball Fight Royale at the Manor. Every year during this event, they both try to tackle the other into a snow pile. Whoever is the one tackled, has to buy the other a warm beverage of choice. Usually this carries throughout the entire winter as they have both gotten good at foiling the other’s plans. Not to mention, Steph recruited Cass and Tim to help her keep an eye out for Jason sneaking up on her. Cass once managed to throw Jason into a snowbank so he stays away when he knows Cass is around because he knows how it will end.

What do they fight about?

Steph calls Jason out on his bullshit a lot and he gets moody about it. Usually he vanishes anywhere from a day to a few weeks depending on what it is about. He returns and admits Steph was right. (She’s always right. Except for that one time but, that was an anomaly and should not be counted)

What would they do if they found their paring tag on tumblr? (If they have one)

Steph: PEOPLE DRAW ME LIKE A BADASS!!!

Jason: You are a badass!! 

Steph: Obviously, I’m just glad people respect that!!

Jason, reaching for crowbar: They better.

Who cried at the end of Marley and me?

JASON. In the one I did for JayRose, I said Rose would record him crying...I feel Stephanie would do the same. 

Who always wins at Mario kart?

Stephanie

One thing I like about this ship BrOtp?

They’re both rebels with hearts of gold who have the potential to have a lot of fun together!!

One thing I don’t like about the ship BrOtp?

There is not enough interaction between them in canon or fanon that explores the complexity of both characters.

The song I would say fits them?

Renegades by X Ambassadors

Jason often stands up for Stephanie when Bruce or someone else in the family is too hard on her. Steph does the same for him.

for WINTER SOLSTICE, we have jason shielding stephanie from an explosion on a cold winter's night. he gets injured - and steph has to patch him up.

for NEW YEAR'S, steph and jason sit on a rooftop and swap stories about their childhood new year's traditions. they share food, share laughs, and when the clock strikes twelve..... 😉

i can't wait to share them with everyone!
