-whenever you talk to ichiro, it pisses samatoki off to no end. he gets extremely jealous that you're talking to him. although it's just a friendly conversation, there's clear annoyance on his face that it's ichiro you're talking to.

-ramuda... whenever you talk to him and he clings to you? samatoki immediately pushes the short guy off of you and tells him to fuck off. at this point, ramuda just does it on purpose to piss him off.

-when it does come to jealous sex.. he can't help but be rougher with you. he's pissed off and he's going to take it out on you. grabbing your face and forcing it to turn to the side so he can cover your neck in marks to show everyone that you're his.

-you're going to be sore all over once he's done with you... but he's not opposed to carrying you around at all.

-he's also mean when he gets jealous. asking you if you were letting that guy make moves on you like that when he was sitting right there and becoming extremely impatient. don't even try to tease him when he gets jealous enough to fuck you... it won't end well for you at all.

-But both men for some reason shrug a little, after looking at the face of your boyfriend, and walk away quickly, as do many other people who try to flirt with you.

-But every time you turn around to see Ramuda, his face is cute and adorable as always, no threatening mad gazes or anything..

-"Uaa! I can't even leave you for a second..!" - he mumbled and hugged your arms, leaning on your shoulder. - "Someone is always trying to talk with you..!"

-"Aren't you doing the same with your onesans..?" - you giggle a little bit, taking his arm in your.

-Samatoki's really caring about his closest people, but his overprotectiveness applies only to you and his sister as you two are the most important in the whole world for him.

-So he doesn't really like when you talk with other guys, even if it's just friends. Well, but you still can talk with Jyuto or Rio, as these two never will arouse your boyfriend's suspicions.

-Even opposite - if you said you will go on a little walk with Rio then Samatoki doesn't mind, knowing that his friend will solve all unwanted problems.

-But when you go on a date together, he is always trying to be as close as possible, big hand wrapped around your waist as he leads you inside a nightclub. Despite all these possessions, Samatoki loves to spoil you with restaurants and clubs and show off what a beautiful girlfriend he has. Yes, he's a little braggy, but how can he not? In his eyes you're literally a goddess.

-And he's your guardian, always ready to scare away all the jerks who keep flirting with you. Seriously, Samatoki just gets for a second to the bar to order some cocktails for you two, and there's already some creep trying to ask for your number.

-"You just really gorgeous, baby.." - he can hear a strange man whisper, as he's trying to sit next to you. - "How can such a beautiful girl sitting here all alone?"

-It was neither the first nor the last time you see these creepy kind of men, so you just scoff and look at your boyfriend, who was already quickly walking to your table with red glowing eyes.

-"Well, maybe because she was waiting for her husband?!" - the harsh husky voice of Samatoki makes this moron jump in his place and turn around, just to see the second-in-command of a big Yakuza family looking at him with a threading gaze.

-Needless to say that this man fades away in seconds, leaving Samatoki in his berserk rage and you laugh with tears in your eyes.

-"Really? Husband?" - you giggle when he sits down with you, arms quickly wraps around your body in protective mode, fingers nervously stroking your hand.

-"..Ugh, i just got too carried away.." - he mumbled with a slight pink on his cheeks, voice quickly changed to a soft and gentle one. - "Now come on, sit closer.. I want to kiss you so bad right now, we should let everyone see that you're only mine.. And I'm only yours, of course.. ♡"

-This one.. Oh, it's hard.

-Gentaro can be so jealous sometimes, but you can never tell for sure. Even if someone is actually getting on his nerves by talking too sweetly with you, his face so calm and relaxed as he just tease you a little.

-Only sometimes you can tell that his mood gets worse, only when his little jokes and lies turn into a more mocking tone. It's really slight changes but after a few months in a relationship with him you start to notice these little quiet tantrums of jealousy.

-"Darling, you should know that the moment you accept my feelings, you will fall under the magic rule: no cheating, or you will turn into worm.." - with a disappointed sigh your boyfriend looks at you, acting like you already kissed someone else or maybe even worse.

-Despite him just teasing you about this, in his soul he gets more and more protective. You get used to Gentaro not being that touchy so every time he wants to hug your waist or hold your hand in public (to show that you are taken, of course) he distracts you with his fairy tales.

-And maybe you will never realize just how possessive your mysterious writer can be, before one incident, when you two were having a small date in the library. For a moment Gentaro steps away, talking with one of the workers about his new book that he would probably announce here, in the library, during hours of Literature Club.

-You walk away a little to another shield and suddenly meet one of your male friends. Well, why not have a little talk with him, as you are waiting for your boyfriend?

-But despite Gentaro being busy with a set timetable for this little event, he clearly sees what you just did. He has a phenomenal peripheral vision and sometimes watches you when neither you nor the person he talks to didn't even realize that.

-"You totally should watch it..! I'm sure you would like it.." - cheerful voice of your friend echoing in Gentaro's ears as he slowly gets closer, without any sound.

-"Mm? So your little friend was recommending this new film..?" - Gentaro suddenly interrupts your chit chat and looks with a small cunning smile at the guy who was talking with you. - "How bad.. I hear that anyone who would watch this film gets cursed. After a few weeks they suddenly get deaf and dumb.. And can't enjoy their little talks with friends.."

-Gaze so soft and whole face so chill and playful, but there's some kind of pressure that keeps getting heavier with every second as your friend gets a little bit confused. He just laughs awkwardly and waves you goodbye, still feeling this uneasy feeling in his chest from the mysterious strange look from your boyfriend.

-"Didn't I warn you before?" - Gentaro clicks his tongue and takes your hand in his. - "You're punished and also under the curse now. To get healed you should give me three kisses. And if you try to pull your arm away even for a second, the number increases to ten times. Understand, princess?♡"

Ramuda: I don’t think he would date anyone because he likes playing around so to speak but if he did, you’d probably be treated the same the same as those girls and he would be really afraid of letting his other side show, but if you’re not jakurai about it he could really open up to you

“Aohitsugi, Here we go…I’m on the fence to be completely honest. Yes, He often resorts to violence, but he’s also ‘calm’ If somebody doesn’t ‘trigger’ him? Ichiro didn't love saying no to people; he liked to be helpful and obliging when he could. But he wasn't a pushover either. If there was a favor he couldn't do, a wish he couldn't grant, he would say that.

He just preferred to avoid being asked for things he couldn't give.

Which was why he was practically giddy with relief when the biggest gossip in his class leaned over to his desk one day, just a few days before graduation, and asked, "Hey, hey, Yamada-kun. Is there anyone you're thinking about giving your second button to?"

Ichiro had to fight back the urge to beam at her. He knew, as soon as he gave her an answer, she would spread it through the whole school. And that would save him a hell of a lot of trouble on graduation day.

"Ah, sorry, I won't be doing that," Ichiro said, answering with a more measured smile, trying to look at least a bit genuinely mournful. "Jiro's getting my jacket next year, so I gotta keep it in one piece."

The girl looked a tad crestfallen, but nodded and seemed to understand.

Now, Ichiro wasn't any sort of egomaniac. But he knew at least a dozen of his classmates and underclassmen had been planning to ask him for his button when he graduated, and that would be at least a dozen conversations he'd rather avoid.

It was actually true that Jiro would be getting his uniform when he graduated. It was just… also true that Ichiro didn't want to give his button to anyone.

Anyone but Samatoki.

No one needed to know that latter part, though.

When graduation day rolled around, Ichiro was left blissfully unbothered. No one asked for his button at all, though Ichiro could feel longing gazes fixed on him—on the second button of his jacket, specifically—pretty much all day.

He at least took pictures with anyone who asked him for one, figuring that was the least he could do.

It was while he was posing for one of those pictures, with a couple of the younger guys from the basketball team, that he overheard something that made his smile freeze on his face. That shattered his bliss and bothered him immensely.

"Are you sure?" one girl whispered to her friend, as they passed behind Ichiro. "You saw his jacket? It was gone?"

The other girl gave a sniffle. "Mhm. I think on some level I knew he wouldn't give it to me, but after I spent so long working up the nerve to ask… I wish I'd at least gotten to ask."

"I can't believe it," the first girl breathed. "Aohitsugi-senpai really gave his button to someone?"

Ichiro's thoughts all ground to a screeching halt. He didn't need to wonder what button they were talking about; it was graduation day, there was only one thing it could be. The second button of his jacket, the button closest to his heart. The one traditionally given to an important person as a memento, a declaration.

A confession.

"Captain?"

Ichiro jumped when one of the guys next to him called out. Had the photo already been taken? Ichiro gave his head a firm shake and turned to tousle his kouhai's hair. "All good."

Of course, all was not fucking good. All was not fucking good at all.

Who the hell could Samatoki possibly have given his button to?

They told each other everything, him and Samatoki. There was just no way Samatoki had a girl he liked, enough to give her his second button. Ichiro would have known.

He would have, right?

Ichiro swallowed around the fierce, stinging jealousy that had risen in his throat like bile. He and Samatoki were close, close enough that several of their classmates had mistaken them for a couple in the past, but they weren't… actually going out. So maybe Ichiro didn't have any right to be jealous.

He looked across the courtyard, where most of their freshly graduated class were still hanging around for photos with friends and family, to where Samatoki was chatting with some of the guys from the baseball team. Samatoki's back was to him, making it impossible for Ichiro to tell if he was really missing a button from his jacket.

But it wasn't like there was another 'Aohitsugi-senpai' in their school.

Ichiro shook his head again. He would find out soon enough. He and Samatoki had made plans to grab food together after the ceremony, after all.

"Hey, handsome." Samatoki's voice was warm with a grin when he finished all his talking and came over to find Ichiro. He practically crashed into Ichiro's back, throwing an arm around Ichiro's shoulders and pulling Ichiro into his side, where Ichiro had always felt he fit so well. "Ready to go?"

Ichiro nodded as he turned, to check out Samatoki's jacket, to find the button he hoped against hope was still there—

Only to find Samatoki had taken off his jacket entirely. He had it slung over one shoulder now, collar hooked on two fingers of his other hand. With the way it was draped over his back, the buttons weren't visible at all.

Was it there?

"Can I take your jacket for you?" Ichiro offered.

Samatoki laughed, brows jumping up with an amused sort of surprise. "What are you, my butler?"

Ichiro gave a little huff as they started to walk, away from the buildings where they'd spent so much of the past three years. "No…"

"My chauffeur?" Samatoki teased. His arm was still wrapped around Ichiro's shoulders, his body still warm and solid against Ichiro's side.

"No," Ichiro huffed a second time.

"My boyfriend?"

"N—"

Ichiro stopped then. Or maybe Samatoki did. Or maybe they stopped moving at the exact same time, underneath a cherry tree in bloom.

A single petal, disturbed by a passing breeze, descended as though in slow motion, touching down on Ichiro's shoulder as Samatoki turned to stand before him. When their eyes met, Samatoki's had lost none of their warmth, their affection. But his expression was… heavier, in a way.

More serious.

Like he…

Like he was serious.

Ichiro could only watch as Samatoki slid his jacket from his shoulders, draping it over one arm instead. With his hands freed up, Samatoki reached one into his own pants pocket, and took one of Ichiro's hands with the other.

"If you are," Samatoki continued, like there'd been no pause at all.

"If I am…?" Ichiro echoed.

"My boyfriend," Samatoki repeated. He turned Ichiro's hand to face up and stroked a hand down Ichiro's palm, making Ichiro shiver. "If you are, I've got something better than my jacket for you."

Ichiro could only stare, wide-eyed and breathless, as Samatoki lifted his other hand to drop something into the center of his open palm. A small, circular something.

A button.

A button that Samatoki had taken from his own jacket, hidden away in his own pocket, for… for this moment?

For Ichiro?

Ichiro's breath hitched in his throat. "Samatoki—"

"I know you can't give me yours," Samatoki said. "Can't have Jiro starting his third year with a missing button, yeah? So I won't ask for that. All I'll ask…"

"Yes," Ichiro breathed.

Samatoki laughed and pinched the side of Ichiro's hand. "Oi, at least let me ask."

Ichiro would always remember the way that button felt in his hand, digging into his palm, almost painfully so, with how tight he held it as they kissed. He would always remember the curve of Samatoki's smile against his lips, the weight of Samatoki's arms around his waist, even the distant hoots and cheers from their classmates who happened to look over at just that moment—that perfect moment.

He would always remember that graduation day.

it was raining out today and I had a dream about finding a stray kitty last night so I was rather inspired today to get this one done! I hope you enjoy it!

    The rain fell quietly on the pavement as you began your walk home from work. You gripped the umbrella handle tight to your chest as a gust of wind blew in from the nearby seaside. Whenever it rained in Yokohama, it always got cold and the air always smelled like a mix of dew and salt. On rainy days like this, you would rather be at home cuddled under a blanket on the couch with your boyfriend. Work was rather slow today, so your boss let you go home early, which you gratefully accepted. You quickly walked through the streets, excited to get home to the warmth of your apartment before Samatoki came to pick you up. While waiting at the crosswalk, you heard a quiet cry from the bushes beside you. You furrowed your brow and decided to ignore it, rocking on your heels as you waited for the light to turn red so you could cross. However, the cries became more prominent and demanding. 

    “What on earth?” You muttered to yourself as you turned on your heel and walked toward the bushes, sighing as you saw the light turn out the corner of your eye. At this rate, you were going to be late for your night with Samatoki, no time to change out of your work clothes either. 

    You crouched by the side of the bush and pushed a section of leaves away with your free hand. Placing your bag on the floor, you held the umbrella under your chin as you reached out and pulled the wet creature out from captivity. You looked down at the small kitten in your hand, expression softening as you watched it shake in the warmth of your hands. You took off your coat and wrapped the small cat inside, shuddering at the cold wind. It was better that you shiver than it. You walked quickly down the street, the lack of your warm layer motivating you to reach your destination faster. Samatoki’s apartment was closer… and the deeper the night grew, the colder it became. Hopefully, he hadn’t left yet...

    The door to Samatoki’s opened before you could knock. A surprising look of concern on his face. 

    “Y/n! Your hair is soaked… and why is your jacket off? Did something happen? Come inside, I don’t want you getting a cold.” He opened the door and ushered you in, walking to the linen closet to grab you a towel. Samatoki returned and draped the towel over your shoulders, taking your bag and umbrella from your arm. “You can hang your coat up, or do you want to run it through the dryer?”

    “Uhm…. well, maybe so, yes… but also um…” You slowly moved your coat to reveal the kitten underneath. “I found it walking home… and it looked so cold and helpless and it's so small… I couldn't just leave it there… my apartment complex doesn’t allow pets so I just brought it here...”

    The tiny cat moved in your arms and perched itself to look at Samatoki with curious eyes. You giggled as Samatoki squinted at the cat and bent down to stare at it. 

    “Oi, listen to me furball, you better understand how lucky you are to be rescued by y/n, ok? She went out of her way to keep you warm so you wouldn’t die in the rain, and now she’s gonna get sick all cause she used her coat to keep you warm. Ya understand that?”

The cat only meowed in response.

    You rolled your eyes and blushed before bending down and setting the kitten on the floor. “Babe, it’s just a kitten… are you jealous?~” a smirk grew on your face. “Awwww~ Samatoki’s jealous of the kitty~” you teased, using your towel to wrap around his neck and pull him closer to you. “Don’t worry darling, you’re still my number one, you just aren’t tiny and freezing in the rain.     You slung the towel over your shoulder and wandered into Samatoki’s kitchen, opening the pantry and searching for something to feed the stray cat. There wasn’t much suitable for a cat there… so you moved to the fridge. You smiled successfully as you spotted some leftover tuna from your sushi date a few nights ago. 

    “This should still be good…” You brought the carton up to your nose and sniffed the fish. Then, you grabbed a small rice bowl from the china cabinet and placed the fish inside after cutting it into small pieces. 

    Samatoki sighed as he leaned against the entryway to the kitchen, crossing his arms and watching as you cared for the kitten. It was endearing to see you care for the tiny animal, your kind heart was always something he loved about you. He found himself smiling softly as you laid on the floor with the cat, petting its head as it drank water and ate. 

    He came over to sit next to you, pulling you into his lap. “We’ll take it to the vet tomorrow morning and see if it belongs to anyone… and if not… I suppose we could keep it here if you’d like. Maybe it’ll persuade you to move in with me, huh?” 

    You shook your head with a smile, turning to kiss your boyfriend’s cheek. “I can’t believe you’re jealous of a kitten. It’s kinda cute though… you’re like a little puppy~”

    Samatoki’s ears turned red and he huffed, moving his arms away from you consequently. 

    You frowned as you felt his arms move away from your waist, “Wait! Babe! No! I was teasing! Come on, are you that embarrassed?”

    “Tch. No, your clothes are just wet. Let me grab some of mine for you to change into.”

    “Hm, fine.” You moved off his lap and followed him to the bedroom, smiling giddily to yourself. Samatoki only offered you his clothes when he was feeling jealous or possessive, you couldn’t believe all it took to get him like this was a kitten!
