The my weird sees your weird trope has me by the fuckin throat. Two people so fundamentally flawed and opposite that they circle back to being made for each other. I am weak.

i don’t understand WHY have THAT happen to JUDY
i’m feeling empty and distraught and disrespected. i choose to reject canon, as always, and instead i’m going to write a fic about an alternate season where basically everything that happened this season happened except those moments
and they all live happily ever after

Jen x Judy.
After Jen reluctantly goes to her grief meeting. She runs into another woman there named Judy. Who is going through a loss of her own. After agreeing to meet up one night the two of them connect instantly. Jen can’t remember the last time she bonded with someone so quickly. She didn’t even feel this way about her husband. It gets trickier after the two decide to sleep with each other the same night. When Judy proposed they don’t sleep together this isn’t what she had in mind.
(An au where at the end of 1x01 instead of the reveal they end up hooking up instead and chaos ensues.)

Finished Dead to me and I’m even more depressed now, but I am not mad at the ending, it always felt like a Jen Harding story to me and it was a full circle ending
