I don't know If I'm the only one who does this but; when I am in my feelings, I tend to almost immediately search through my music collection for a song that matches my mood. However, there are some days when what I am experiencing has no song to match the intensity and I am left to sit in silence. I suppose this is not a bad thing entirely because it leaves me with no choice but to open my mouth and talk to God or sometimes just sit at His feet in the quiet.

People are a lot to handle .

I have countless memories of literally every friendship that I have been in where double standards kick in . When monifah reciprocate what is being done to her , almighty Jesus might as well stand up of his throne and come back because everybody is hurt and everybody is going to die. Its quite R I D I C U L O US.

But now I have this thing where if I have a issue with how someone is treating me and they know because I have explain countless times what I don’t like then I just become really distant because at this point what your saying to me is “you have spoken to me, and told me what bothers you and I really just don’t care”

Sadly that happens a lot . I give of myself so much to people who don’t value or appreciate my life . My heart is so huge so I end up loving so much and caring so much and not realizing that I’m not being watered from the other side of the friendship . I’m just giving and giving and giving , usually by the end of the day or friendship or situation whatever it is im hurt or worn out .

But the great thing is ........

God relates and I try to remember that so I won’t ever misconstrue who he is in my eyes for what man has done .

Hardest part is the Bible speaks about making every effort to live in peace and turning the other cheek and loving your neighbor as you love yourself and a whole bunch of great dandy scriptures but what happens when you have to love out of a place of hur t ? A place of betrayal ? A place of rejection ? A place of abandonment ?

Are you willing to still love ?
