Would you ever expand upon your joker junior thoughts more? I think that was such a well written idea and would love to hear what else you think about it
Oh my god yes. 100000% YES!
That post before was more of an idea vomit, didn’t cover all of what I thought, so I’m happy to hear someone wants to hear more.
So, JJ’s always been a tough convo for Tim. Obviously. But it’s not just because of how traumatizing the Joker can be, or about the shocks and psychological torture. It also reminds him of a grim time in his life. With Bruce still going through the motions post-Jason’s death, and Dick frequently spending all his time in Bludhaven, he hadn’t been watched much. Save for Babs, ofc.
That’s actually why they’re so close. She’s much more emotionally competent thanks to her dad, lol.
JJ wasn’t only a big thing for Tim, but for Gotham too. In a place like this, it wasn’t hard for whispers from the Joker’s men to travel to civilians and cops. Everyone knew why Robin was nowhere to be seen. Everyone knew why Batgirl looked the way she did, agitated and worried. Everyone knew why the cops searched that same warehouse over and over, never allowing anyone inside.
Which was also why no one was happy to see Nightwing, very obviously the first Robin, return after yet another sabbatical in Bludhaven. Of course, that stopped a little after everyone collectively realized that, oh crap, he doesn’t even know!
This begins a collective effort by the more clear-minded people of Gotham to NOT disclose anything JJ related. There has to be a reason, right? No way were they going to force Robin #3 to disclose anything he didn’t wait to. It didn’t hurt that a year or two later, a mysterious figure named Oracle began effectively making every news article or picture related to JJ disappear.
Everyone holds their breaths for the next few months. What if what happened to the second Robin happened to him? What if he was too crippled to go back out?
As the Batfamily grows bigger, it becomes way clearer that Robin #3 hasn’t said a WORD. Not even after they grow closer, when the screaming and murder attempts and arguments cease. He doesn’t say a word, so no one else does either.
Tim goes to great lengths to medicate himself against any variant of Joker venom or gas. The familiar smells just… bring things back to the surface.
He tries not to act like Jason whenever the Joker gets out of Arkham. It’s already hard for everyone to hold him back from killing the monster. Jason doesn’t need some second-rate copy of his trauma trying to get sympathy. Unlike Jason, he didn’t die. He didn’t come back differently, or lose footing on his life, his job, whatever.
It would just be better if Tim acted as aloof and concentrated as he always did. Not make a big scene, and follow Batman’s orders to a T. No need to worry anyone.
Honestly, the only reason no one notices the literal war going on in this boy’s head is because he doesn’t want to cause a scene.
Oh, and if you’re wondering what he says when one of the bats finds him the next night, still avoiding them…
Yeah, he full on denies EVERYTHING. Looks whoever it is, Jason, Steph, Dick, straight in the eye and says that what they saw was fake. Edited. Something to threaten Bruce with years ago. Tim just ran because…because…Anyway, he’s fine. Don’t worry about Tim Drake. He’s fine.
Babs groans over the comms when everyone hounds on her to tell them everything. Like hell is she gonna tell them a single thing until she has Tim’s full permission.

Days in the Sun

warnings: fluff, mild cursing, smut/unprotected sex, slight violence. NSFW.
word count: 1.1k
plot: y/n is spending a day at the beach with JJ, this time without any of the Pogues. After a run-in with the Kooks, JJ makes you feel better after accidentally making you mad at him.
a/n: sorry I haven’t posted in a bit- this fic is a little longer than usual, so enjoy!
Sunlight creeps through the curtains as you wake up, yawning. You roll over and see JJ sleeping soundly next to you, his mouth slightly open. The sight makes you smile.
You had spent the night before at your boyfriend’s after much convincing, and ended up asleep in his arms. You have to admit, it had been one of the best nights you’ve ever had.
JJ’s awake now, and he blinks up at you sleepily. “‘Morning, beautiful.”
“Good morning, Jay. Sleep well?”
“Best sleep I’ve ever had,” he assures you as he sits up and stretches.
“Good.” You get out of bed and change out of your outfit, seeing as you’re still wearing your clothes from yesterday, and slip on a light blue sundress. JJ whistles in approval when he see you, making you blush.
After you’ve both eaten breakfast you head down to the beach together, watching the rising sun turn everything to gold. JJ’s hand finds yours and wraps around you tightly as you walk on the sand.
Since it’s still early, not many people are on the beach, allowing you to enjoy the scenery in peace. The deep-blue waves crash onto the shore, matching JJ’s eyes almost perfectly.
Gazing over at you, JJ can’t help but think how beautiful you look. Your glowing skin and sparkling eyes; and your hair blowing slightly in the breeze. His mind wanders as he contemplates how on earth he ended up with you. Just then, a seagull swoops down, nearly grazing JJ’s head. He jumps and curses, making you laugh.
“Damn those seagulls,” he mutters.
“Scared of a little bird, are you?” you taunt him. JJ shoves you playfully.
“‘Course not.” Nearing the ocean’s edge, he splashes you with water, kicking off a fun-spirited water fight between the two of you. Before long, you’re both soaked. You find the look of JJ with his blonde hair plastered to his head adorable.
The peace and quiet doesn’t last, though. Rafe Cameron, Topper Thornton, and Kelce walk walk onto the beach, sauntering as usual.
“We’d better go,” JJ tells you under his breath, a look of disgust on his face. It’s too late. The group has spotted you and stride over, smirking.
“Well, look who it is,” Rafe sneers. “JJ and his pretty little girlfriend.”
“Leave us alone, Rafe,” you snap, trying to move around him. He steps to block your path.
“Leaving so soon?” Rafe crosses his arms over his chest threateningly.
He reels back as JJ throws a punch at him. “Fuck off,” JJ snarls. Rafe’s expression flashes.
“Not very friendly, huh?” He starts forward and shoves JJ in the chest, knocking him backwards into a waiting Topper, who holds him in a headlock.
“Guys, stop,” you say in frustration, avoiding Kelce as he tries to grab you.
“Y/n, run. I can handle this,” JJ commands, struggling in Topper’s grip.
“I don’t think so.” Taking a nearby beach bag, you swing it at Topper’s head, catching him by surprise. He lets go of JJ and stumbles backwards.
“Run! Now!” Turning around, you and JJ sprint back down the beach and out the farther entrance, the Kooks yelling after you. Thankfully, you don’t hear them give chase.
“That was a close one,” JJ gasps, stopping to put his hands on his knees. “Thanks for getting me out of that.”
“It’s no problem,” you reply dryly. “Maybe try not to get into a fight with Rafe as soon as you see him next time?”
JJ reddens in embarrassment. “Yeah, I guess I could’ve stayed calm a little better…”
You sigh. “I just don’t want you getting hurt,” you say sternly, rubbing the spot where Topper grabbed him.
JJ grins sheepishly. “I know.” Then an idea pops into his head. “Let me make it up to you, princess.”
* * *
JJ takes you to lunch at the Tiki Bar, a Hawaiian-themed restaurant a short ways from the beach. He orders a burger and fries for each of you, along with two Margaritas.
The server carries a tray to your table with your food, and you clink your glasses together.
“Cheers!” After finishing your first drink, JJ quickly orders you a refill.
“Wait, you don’t have to-“ you begin.
JJ cuts you off. “It’s on me,” he says earnestly. You beam. Turns out, you can’t stay mad at your short-tempered but sweet boyfriend for long.
At the end of the meal, you reach for the check, but JJ stops you, insisting on paying out of his pocket.
“Are you sure? I thought you were broke,” you say skeptically.
“Not today. It’s the least I could do for you, baby,” he adds when you open your mouth to say something. You roll your eyes but don’t argue further.
“That was really nice, JJ,” you tell him as you walk back to the house. “You do know how to make it up to a girl.”
“Oh, but we’re not done yet,” he hums teasingly as he maneuvers you through the door and up the stairs.
“What do you mean—“ JJ opens the door to the bedroom and guides you inside, and you fall silent. The smirk on his lips tells all.
You lay on the bed obediently, clothes off, and JJ begins kissing you swiftly, sucking your breath out of you until you finally have to pull away, then kissing you again. He moves to the skin on your neck, nipping at your tender spots and leaving purple and blue love bites.
JJ’s hand moves to your panties, and he chuckles. “Wet already?”
“Y-yes,” you mumble. “Just— get a move on, Jay,” you plead.
“Alright, alright. Be patient cupcake.” He slides them off and begins making rapid circles on your clit, making you gasp and hold you head back.
“Let me see those gorgeous eyes of yours, pretty girl,” he commands, and you obey, breath coming faster. You guide his hard cock into your waiting pussy, making the both of you moan in pleasure.
You dig your nails into his muscular shoulders as he pumps in and out, bucking his hips. The sound of his voice gasping out your name only drives you closer to your edge.
Likewise, JJ seeing your tangled hair falling in front of your rosy face and feeling your hands grope his shoulder blades causes him to barrel toward his climax as well.
JJ cums inside of you at last, painting your insides white. He lifts out, and the combined mixture of both of your juices drip out of you.
Laying together on the bed minutes later JJ murmurs to you lovingly.
“Now I know what to do next time I make you upset.”
“Do it to me every day,” comes your whispered reply.

Today was not her day. Everything was angering her. She was dealing with a stack of paperwork to close up a case that just pissed her off in general.
To top all of that off, she was running on way too little sleep. Her attempt to get good coffee was thwarted by a line that would’ve made her late. There were way too many people trying to reach her for things that, frankly, weren’t her problem right now. Even when the hours she had planned to be in her office at the BAU ended she still wasn’t done with the massive pile of paperwork she had.
While she should be off work, instead she came straight home just to go into her personal office and keep working. At least the kids were with Will this week, that way she had some quiet and no distractions from all the work she still had left. It was really putting her in a bad mood that she couldn’t just kick back and relax like she wanted to.
Her bad mood only soured more when she realized she had messed up and left the hard drive she needed to work from home in her office. She really did not want to take any more of her evening to run back out and get it. But could she afford to put all of this paper work off? No, she really couldn’t. Then, not only would it eat into her evening off, but it would take up even more evenings she desperately needed for herself. The fact that she had no way to relax right now or let off some of this steam from her bad mood was making her even more frustrated with herself.
There had to be some solution that wouldn’t lose her too much time. She sat back on her chair, her hands covering her eyes as she tried to push past her frustration and brainstorm solutions. Her mind was too fixated on the day for her to think very clearly, but then she remembered the biggest cause of her bad mood and why she was so easily irritated by everything. Finally, an idea came to her.
Her hand reached for her phone on the desk and she immediately sent out a text.
You were two seconds away from heading out of the BAU yourself when you got her message. “Bring me my hard drive in the top drawer” was the first message you received from JJ. The second was her address. There was no please, there were no other details. She didn’t indicate that you could wait and give it to her later or that she cared that it was time for your work day to end. It was implied that you needed to go to her place now. You groaned when you saw the message. Today was long and you had plans. Looks like you’d have to postpone.
JJ didn’t even feel bad about the demanding text she sent. You were an intern after all, it was your job to be available for the team. It was in the job description, you should expect it. Plus, you were the cause of half of her frustration today. Even though there were other interns, she specifically chose you for that reason.
See the thing is, you drove her a little bit crazy. When you started at the BAU she was instantly drawn to you. Your smile was so contagious and the way you happily helped with JJ and others on the team was endearing to her. You were just so eager to be part of the BAU, even if you were just another intern. The way you starkly contrasted the nature of the work the team saw every day with your bright and bubbly personality was a breath of fresh air. JJ loved the way you seemed so innocent. Soon into your internship, all she could think about was taking that innocent spirit of yours all for herself.
She thought you were aware of this wanting. In all honesty, she wasn’t exactly subtle with the way she looked at you all day every single day you two worked together. She thought you noticed the way she practically undressed you with her eyes. The obliviousness you showed towards it, in her mind, had to be an act. Part of a little game of cat and mouse that you two played. Apparently, after today, she was wrong.
There were definitely some interns JJ didn’t care for. One of them was a cocky young man who was way too self-centered and charming. No doubt he got this internship at the BAU with the money his daddy had. What earned him negative points in JJ’s book was the way he flirted with everyone else. If one girl rejected him, he’d brush it off and move onto the next. He’d do that even if a girl didn’t reject him too. JJ was worried about the day he decided to pursue you too and apparently just had to be today.
She really thought you’d tell him off or tell her to tell him off. Why she thought that, she wasn’t sure. It was very much not in your kind nature. But the thing is, JJ thought you two had an understanding that the only person to openly flirt with you in the BAU was her. Now, she realized you didn’t even know she was flirting and to make things worse, if you knew this man was flirting, you didn’t seem to care.
He followed you around like a damn puppy. JJ thought the same display of innocence in your face was what was really drawing him in. You didn’t fawn over him like the other girls did and you didn’t flat out reject him like the ones who saw through his motives. Instead, you were just friendly to him and it pissed her off.
At the end of the day, the way he kept pushing his luck was infuriating. What really put JJ over the edge was the conversation she overheard. He asked you if you wanted to get drinks after work and you cluelessly said yes. That was it, JJ thought, that was the last hope she had of you avoiding his charm. Drinks would surely lead to more, at least JJ thought so. After hearing you say yes, nothing was going to save her shitty mood. She only fumed more when she couldn’t take the rest of the evening to drink a glass (or maybe three) of wine and try to forget that she let the opportunity to have you in her arms instead of his slip away.
But then, when she sat down and realized her hard drive was missing, it was the perfect excuse to thwart that man’s plans. Maybe it didn’t cancel your plans; she could imagine you asking him to wait just a little longer before meeting with drinks, but at least she delayed it. As JJ sat back on her desk chair and waited for you to arrive, she thought maybe she could find a few other ways to keep your little date postponed. If she was lucky, she could completely ruin your evening like you ruined hers. Even if you had no idea that you were responsible for that.
The knock came on her door in no time and JJ was honestly impressed for a moment by the speed in which you got there. A thought occurred to her a moment later, however, and her mood got even worse. You probably rushed over here so you had more time to meet for drinks with that asshole intern.
When she opened the door for you, she didn’t say much. She just gestured for you to follow her in as she basically stomped her way over to her office with you in tow. You were instantly anxious over the way she greeted you with such an unwelcoming attitude, but you followed her anyway. It would’ve been much easier to just hand her the USB and go, but you thought doing that would just piss her off more. Plus, you had a feeling this bad mood was from how overworked she seemed to be lately at the BAU. Obviously, she wasn’t happy that she was taking some of that work home with her. Maybe you could help, offer to look over whatever you were allowed to look over. You canceled your plans the minute you got the text from JJ, so it wasn’t like you had anything better to do.
“Um…” You shuffled awkwardly where you stood in the middle of JJ’s home office. You’ve never been in here, let alone her place in general. It would excite you to be here if she wasn’t practically fuming as she sat herself back down at her desk. “I’m sorry, you had to take your work home with you.”
“It is what it is,” she grumbled as she plugged the USB into her laptop and immediately started typing away.
“Can I help with any of it somehow?”
“I don’t know you possibly could.” Her tone was sharp and she didn’t even bother to look up at you. Originally, yes, she had the plan to keep you here longer and get your date postponed, but she was also still incredibly frustrated. The minute you walked through the door to her home she realized it wasn’t the way she wanted things to happen. She had the image in her mind that the first time you’d be here, she’d be pulling you through her halls while ripping your clothes off. Clearly, that wasn’t going to happen now. So, instead, JJ just resorted to being downright harsh.
“Okay, well,” you sighed. “I guess I’ll get going then.”
“You do that,” JJ spit as she kept up her work. If you wanted to go be with that arrogant prick then so be it. Let him disappoint you the way you were disappointing her. If you just opened your eyes for a second, you’d realize JJ would treat you so much better than anyone else ever good. The thought that someone else would be doing the things that JJ was dying to do to you was just pissing her off more.
“I– JJ, did I do something?” You definitely sounded hurt. JJ would almost feel bad if she wasn’t already so far gone in her frustration.
“It’s what you didn’t do,” she said, her jaw visibly clenching as she kept typing.
“What I didn’t do?” You repeated in disbelief. “I offered to help! You’re the one not letting me!”
Not letting you? JJ wondered if you heard how ridiculous you sounded. Okay, maybe you were right, but that wasn’t the point. She fully blamed you for this bad mood now and everything you were doing was the exact opposite of helping. How could you possibly not realize that? Her want for you was causing her to lose her temper and it shouldn’t be like that. At least that’s what JJ thought. Maybe you were really as innocent as you appeared to be, but JJ had been throwing you big hints. You never picked up on any of them, never initiated a single thing that told JJ it was finally okay to make her move, yet you say okay to drink with a man that clearly wanted in your pants? And even then you have the audacity to ask how you can help her? No, no, you were being ridiculous, not JJ. She thought losing control of her temper and jealousy was entirely valid at this point.
“You want to help so fucking badly?” JJ finally looked up from her computer. Her eyes were burning with rage and all you could do was stand there, so confused as to why you seemed to be fueling this fire.
“Yes!” You were desperate now. “Yes, I’m just trying to do a good job here,” you cried. “I don’t know why you’re so angry. I don’t know what it was that I apparently didn’t do. What do you want from me?”
“God,” JJ growled. “If you’d just shut up and get on your fucking knees we wouldn’t be having this problem.” She said that without thinking. Honestly, she really did. It was a mixture of the anger she was feeling and the pent up want she had for you. The minute those words were out of her mouth the whole room went still.
Your eyes widened at what she said. JJ’s body froze. She didn’t let her face show the shock she felt for letting that slip. It didn’t even mean to come out, and her jaw clenched as she waited for you to react.
JJ expected you to do one of two things: Yell and throw much deserved accusations her way or run like hell out of her house and report her ass. Either way, she could practically picture the long HR conversation she was bound to have this week. Except, you didn’t do either of the things she was expecting. In fact, you didn’t do anything at all for a moment. You just stood there and stared at her in utter shock.
Shit, JJ thought as she started to get up from her desk chair. You were still staring at her in disbelief and she could see the blush forming on your face. If she didn’t just royally fuck up the way she did, she would be enjoying the deer-caught-in-headlights look you were wearing. Obviously, you weren’t expecting her to say anything like that to you. Hell, she wasn’t expecting to say that tonight either. But what did intrigue her was, while you might be frozen in place, you still didn’t leave or even protest. No, instead you just looked a bit flushed and there was a gradual shift from shock to something else in your eyes. It was wishful thinking on JJ’s part that the look in your eye could mean interest. Or maybe, if JJ was the type of woman who took bets, it could even be a look of arousal.
The worst part was, she would’ve won that bet, because you definitely were aroused the instant those words left her lips. You shifted where you stood, not that JJ noticed when her eyes were too busy reading your own. The heat in your cheeks she did notice though. It was only getting worse the longer you stood there and let her gawk at you. Her eyebrow arched when she did, indeed, pick up on the fact that your reaction perhaps wasn’t all that negative.
She was waiting for you to do something now. Still unsure of how you felt about her outburst. The problem was, there wasn’t much you could think to do. Was she serious? The fact that you almost did exactly what you were asked immediately made you a bit embarrassed, but what if that’s really what she wanted? You said you wanted to help and if that was her request... Maybe you really should fulfill it.
Your eyes shifted to the floor for a minute and then back up at her. JJ’s expression still hadn’t changed from the quizzical one that replaced her anger. She was waiting for you to act. And as she saw your eyes flick to the floor before looking back at her, you saw even more of a change in her expression. It was miniscule to anyone else, but you personally spent a lot of time staring at JJ and her eyes, so you didn’t miss the shift in them. Blue eyes looked back at you with pupils blown until they were almost completely black. That small detail in and of itself is what told you she was dead serious. It was also all it took to make your mind up.
“Okay.” You said it with a confidence you didn’t even know you had.
“Okay?” JJ’s head tilted to the side. That was another unexpected response from you. She kind of thought the reason you were still here was to discuss this. She had the feeling you’d be the type to talk out your feelings for each other before just falling into bed with her. But in that very moment, you proved her completely wrong.
“Okay,” you repeated and got on your knees. JJ shot around her desk so fast when she saw you do that. There was no way she was missing a moment of this the second she realized you actually were getting on your knees for her.
“Wow,” JJ breathed as she stopped right in front of you. She had pictured this exact scenario countless times, but it still didn’t prepare her for just how amazing you looked on your knees. The way you looked up at her with such innocent eyes was replacing the last tendrils of rage in her body with white hot desire instead. There were so many things she thought about doing to you at that moment. “You look so pretty like that.”
You shifted your gaze to the floor as your face flushed, but JJ’s hand came up to cup your chin and pull you back up to look at her.
“Don’t look away from me,” she ordered. Her tone wasn’t harsh though. Not yet at least, not when she was still fairly certain you would be one who’s easily scared off. Although, so far you’ve been reacting in the exact opposite way than she’s expected.
“I’m only going to say this once,” she started as her thumb ran gently over your bottom lip. “You have an out right now, if you don’t want to do this then this is your one and only chance to get up and leave. But if you stay, then you’re going to do everything I tell you to.”
Her thumb still traced your bottom lip as you soaked in exactly what she was asking of you. You knew that was her way of warning you that tonight was going to be a very different experience than anything and anyone you’ve encountered in your past romantic history. The idea of that only thrilled you more.
“I’m staying,” you mumbled. “I’ll do anything you want.”
JJ’s smirk at your answer looked downright devilish and caused a shiver to run down your spine. “Good,” she hummed. “That’s exactly what I wanted to hear.” Her thumb pressed down on your lip until you were forced to part them. “First, I’m going to use that pretty mouth of yours.” JJ’s thumb pressed harder until your lips fell open even more and you willingly took it into your mouth. She immediately bit her lip, thoroughly enjoying the feeling of running the pad of her thumb against your tongue. When she dragged it back out of your mouth, she gave a satisfied hum at the way you seemed disappointed by the loss of contact. You were already being so good for her and she didn’t even really have to ask yet.
When JJ’s hands fell from you and to the buckle of her belt, that’s when you started to feel a little nervous. Things were getting real, but still you didn’t want to back out. You just didn’t know and definitely weren’t prepared for the intensity JJ had in store for you.
When her belt was undone and her button popped open from her pants, she grabbed you by your hair and pulled you until you were forced to brace yourself on her thighs. She didn’t react to the wince she caused when her grip tightened and your hands frantically grasped at her. “Do you know what to do or am I going to have to show you?” she asked in a threatening tone. This was certainly a new, darker side of JJ. One that you honestly didn’t see coming, but still you weren’t complaining.
You shook your head and tried to readjust on your knees so that you weren’t practically falling over on her anymore. You could do this for her; you could figure it out. If you didn’t know how, JJ was determined to make you learn.
Your hands moved up her thighs and tugged down at her pants and underwear, just enough to give you access to her pussy. She was already so wet, just from the sight of you on your knees and the anticipation of feeling your tongue inside her drove her wild. Part of her thought she should savor this moment, but a large part of her desperately needed to see your face wrecked and covered in her cum.  That part won out.
Again, she tugged on your hair until you were closer to her. You stopped with your face right in between her legs. She looked down at you expectantly and you knew that you needed to get rid of all your hesitation once and for all, so you tried your best to. Your tongue peaked out from your lips and started a slow, long lick over her clit. That alone had JJ shuddering above you and clenching the fist that currently had a strong hold on your head. Loving the reactions you were eliciting from her, you repeated the action once, twice and then more until you set a steady pace of lapping at her pussy while her body twitched above you.
But it wasn’t enough for her. She needed to claim you and she needed it now. “Stick out your tongue,” JJ ordered as she pulled your head back for just a second to make sure you were listening. “I’m going to fuck your face.” She didn’t even wait for a response before pulling you back in.
This time your hands flew back to her thighs so you could brace yourself again as you did exactly what JJ asked and let her run her entire pussy over your tongue. She wasn’t going slow either. The way she felt your tongue run over her clit and her entrance was enough for her to already lose control of her actions. She had this idea, originally, that she would pace herself with you. Her goal was always to be rough with you, but she wanted to ease you into it. She wanted to slowly take away your innocence, not fuck your face right off the bat. But then, she was feeling possessive and that anger still felt like it had her all twisted and pent up, not to mention the fact that just being around you and not getting to fuck you yet was already a build up on it’s own for her. Taking it slow was just not something she had the patience for anymore. She needed to cum and she needed you to help her with that.
To add to how much JJ was enjoying this, she didn’t miss the way you were squeezing your legs together underneath her. With each grind of her hips against your face, she saw the way you shifted and tried to get some relief for the ache you were surely feeling. It was going to be so easy to turn you into a mess beneath her if you were already struggling and she hadn’t even touched you yet.
“I knew this was what you wanted,” JJ groaned when she heard you moaning into her pussy. “You wanted me to fuck you since the moment we met. Isn’t that right?”
All you could do was hum as JJ’s hips moved even harder. She was holding your head in place with a painfully tight grip as she ground into your mouth even harder. The way she was panting and groaning had you so wet, you were sure your panties were beyond ruined.
“I’ll let you in on a little secret.” JJ’s voice was winded as she spoke now and you could tell from the way her hips rocked into your face with a more erratic rhythm that she was getting close. “I’ve wanted to ruin you since the moment we met too.”
She threw her head back after that and kept you tightly pressed to her pussy. It was hard for you to breathe through all of it, but she didn’t care. Instead of letting you get any sort of air, she forced you to press your tongue to her clit as she finally came with a satisfied moan.
When she pulled your head back finally, you gulped down air. JJ took a few deep breaths herself and her legs trembled ever so slightly from the way you made her cum. Her hands finally let go of your head and she took a step back, only for you to fall forward, catching yourself quickly on your hands. She looked down at you when she heard you huff as you caught yourself. You were on all fours and you looked like an absolute mess. Her cum was smeared over your mouth and chin and you were still trying to catch your breath from it. That image gave her an idea of exactly what she wanted to do next.
“Get up.” JJ didn’t even care that you were still struggling to regain your composure. “And follow me.”
“O-okay,” you panted as you tried to get back up and off your now sore knees. JJ was already out the door of her home office before you really could gain your balance. You scrambled to catch up, following her down the hall until you reached what you easily guessed was her bedroom.
You honestly felt lucky that you were being allowed to enter Jennifer Jareau’s bedroom. Never in your wildest dreams did you think it would happen. That didn’t stop you from daydreaming about it, but you really had no idea that the whole time JJ stared at you, she was secretly thinking about all the ways she could fuck you. You kind of thought all her staring meant she didn’t like you. She didn’t exactly smile at you when you caught her looking. Instead, she always wore what you thought was a very serious gaze. It’s only now that you realized it was a gaze of hunger for you rather than anger towards you.
“Strip.” JJ’s order shook you from your thoughts and your eyes snapped to where she had gone. She was in the corner of her room, digging around in the bottom drawer of her dresser.
You did exactly as you were told, but kept your eyes on JJ. Whatever she was digging for, you didn’t know, but you were incredibly curious about it. Still, you continued to pull off your clothes as you waited for her. The fact that, after you pulled the last piece of clothing from your body and now you were bare naked in her bedroom while she was fully clothed, made you nervous again. Hopefully soon JJ would let you take her clothes off, but something told you that if you asked, you’d be breaking JJ’s wishes for you to be obedient. She was in control after all, and it seemed very clear to you that she didn’t want that challenged.
But then she turned around and the thing you saw dangling in her hand had your jaw drop.
“JJ I haven’t– I’ve never done that before,” you stuttered. Resting in JJ’s hand was the straps to a harness and a decently sized dildo. Fingers, you’ve experienced, but you definitely haven’t had anything more than two and the size of the toy in her hand definitely seemed bigger and longer than that.
She didn’t even seem phased by your trepidation. She just started to, thankfully, pull off her own clothes. You waited for any kind of response for her. But as she finished undressing and started to pull on the harness and situate the toy, you realized you weren’t going to get an answer.
“JJ–”
She held up a hand to cut you off when the straps were tightened just right around her hips. “You’ll be fine,” she said as she took a few steps towards you.
“But I haven’t–”
“Was today the first time anyone’s fucked your face?” Your eyes went wide at the bluntness of the question, but still you nodded hesitantly. “You did fine with that,” she said. “You’ll take this.” That last comment sounded more like a promise than words of comfort. You gulped hard when JJ stopped in front of you.
Her arms slipped around your waist and for a minute her touch was gentle. It was reassuring and just enough to let you stop worrying about what JJ was expecting of you. Her hands traced along the bare skin of your back as she leaned into you and finally, for the first time that night, her lips met yours. The kiss was slow; gentle even. It was her way of lulling you into a sense of agreement with her that you’d be just fine taking the toy that was currently strapped to her hips.
You kissed her back, quickly parting your lips for her to run her tongue along your own. But the moment her tongue made contact with yours, that switch flipped back on and she was back to being impatient. With her arms around you, she pulled you so your bare body was flush against hers. The way you felt the cold silicon of her strap-on hit your thigh made you jump, but you didn’t have much time to react as JJ took one of your lips in between her teeth and pulled.
When JJ released your lip, her hands moved to your hips and turned you around. Lips fell on your neck where she began to lick and suck at the sensitive skin there. You couldn’t stop the way your breath hitched when you felt her teeth sink down particularly hard on a very visible part of your neck. Eventually,  your legs hit the edge of the bed and JJ finally let go of you only to give you a hard shove down. You fell down onto the mattress with a thud and JJ climbed onto the bed and knelt above you. When you looked back up the head of her strap was right in your face. It looked bigger this way and you were nervous all over again.
“JJ, it looks really… big.”
“Don’t think about that,” JJ said as she knelt before you. Her hand fell back to the top of your head, this time grabbing a handful of your hair but not as hard. “Either way, you’re going to be a good girl and take it for me. I suggest you start sucking on it first.”
“What?!” She really was trying to give you a handful of firsts in one evening. If you hadn’t ever taken a strap before, you most certainly haven’t given one head.
“You’re probably wet enough,” she started as she urged your head forward, “but this will get it wet and help you take it even better.”
Your eyes flicked back and forth between it and her, but eventually you decided to pluck up some courage and do what you were told. After all, she said she wanted you to be good and you desperately wanted to please her. Your lips wrapped around the head of JJ’s silicon cock and slowly you took it into your mouth. Above you, you heard JJ take in a sharp breath. Her fist flexed on your head, but she didn’t dare push you. Her goal wasn’t to fuck your face with it like she did just moments ago. This genuinely was her way of trying to get you used to it and make it a little easier for you to take. Sure, she could’ve used lube. She had a tube of it in her dresser specifically for you because she thought you’d need it. But then, she wanted to keep corrupting you and what better way to ruin your innocent little image than making you suck her cock.
When you took most of it into your mouth and looked up at her, that’s when JJ really started to struggle. Her hips moved on their own, rolling forward slightly, but still it was just enough for you to back up. Immediately, her hand combed through your hair and she cooed at you, whispering “it’s okay, it’s okay,” as she encouraged you to take it into your mouth again. You did and she gently and cautiously guided your head to bob up and down on it just a little bit longer. But still that feeling of her control was slipping and the fact that you had your lips wrapped around her strap with her cum still on your face was really making it so hard to keep her cool.
After another minute of it, she pulled you off of it. “Good,” she praised breathlessly. “You did so good for mommy.”
The name stopped you both. It slipped out just like before. She really didn’t mean to say it, much like she didn’t mean to say what kickstarted all of this. Just like that instance, though, your reaction wasn’t what she expected. You just looked up at her, face flushed and messy, but pride shining in your eyes. So… you liked the idea of calling her mommy then. That was an interesting little perk that boosted the power trip JJ was already running on.
“Now what?” You asked with such innocence. How you could totally gain back that look of pure wonder and eagerness after just having her pussy and her strap in your mouth? JJ would never understand how you could do it. But still you were looking up at her from where you sat, naked on her bed, and waiting for more orders.
“Now,” JJ said as she backed up a little on the bed, “you’re going to get on all fours and take my cock like the good little slut I know deep down you’re dying to be.”
The language she was using really got a rise out of you. Never had someone spoken to you like that and you didn’t realize how wet it made you. You were also so fucking obvious. JJ could tell that it turned you on to be treated like this and spoken to like you were nothing but her little toy. That’s kind of what you were to her now, whether you realized it yet. She finally had you in her grasp and she was going to fuck you until you were on the brink of breaking. It wasn’t even just about fucking you. No, she was going to claim you and ruin you like she promised. With the way she was going to fuck you, she was going to make sure you were ruined for anyone else. Just hers, that’s how it should always be. She’d make sure you knew that after tonight you were just hers.
JJ didn’t wait for you to move before she had a hold of your hips and started to flip you around. You immediately found yourself on your hands and knees again, which meant you couldn’t see what she was doing with the strap as she knelt on the bed and positioned herself. That made it both frightening and exciting, but you were so fucking wet you could feel it on your thighs. At this point, you didn’t care how big it looked, you just needed JJ to finally be inside you.
When she pushed the head of her cock into you, you weren’t immediately prepared for the burn of her stretching your pussy out. Your head fell back and your fists clenched the blankets on the mattress until they turned white as JJ bottomed out inside you. The echo of JJ’s low, guttural moan filled the room as she watched her cock stretch and disappear inside you. She started slow, pulling out almost all the way before easing it back in. You were already making such pretty noises for her. With each time her hips ground just a little into you when they were flush with your ass and her cock was all the way in, you’d let out a small whine. Eventually, you were getting used to the way you felt your pussy being stretched and when JJ started to pick up the pace, you met her thrusts with your own, trying to fuck yourself on your cock.
“Doing so good, baby,” JJ groaned as her hands gripped your hips and kept you steady. “Taking mommy’s cock so fucking good.”
You just whimpered at that and kept trying to fuck yourself against her cock. JJ was getting faster now, but still holding back as much as she could so you could adjust a little more to this new sensation. She wanted to ruin your pussy, but she didn’t actually want to break you… Just get you close to that point. When your moans got louder and JJ could see your wetness dripping down your thighs, however, she decided you were adjusted enough.
Suddenly, JJ used all her strength to fuck her cock into you. Her thrusts were fast and hard and you cried out with the way it was hitting just the right spot inside you. She was really not holding back and soon your grip on the mattress slipped. That didn’t stop JJ, though. As you fell forward, her hand shot out to your hair. With your face already hitting the mattress and your ass up in the air for JJ to keep fucking your pussy from behind, she used this opportunity to bend over you and push your face even harder into the bed. Your cries were getting muffled by the mattress, but JJ didn’t really mind that. Not when she had you in this position. She never thought you could look so absolutely filthy when you were always so god damn innocent, but the way your legs were spread and your ass was pressing into her hips just made you look like an utter mess.
“Such a fucking whore for me,” JJ growled as she fucked you harder. One hand went from your hip to land a hard smack on your ass. All you did was let out a pitiful whine. You were trying your hardest to keep yourself in pace with JJ. The best you could do was grind back a little harder into her cock, but still it was enough to get you off even faster.
JJ could tell from the way you were crying out her name any time she pumped particularly hard into you that you were two seconds away from coming. She wanted you to cum all over her cock and just the thought of that made her go even faster. You were repeating her name in between moans until finally, when JJ’s hand met your ass for another smack, you came. With a loud cry, JJ watched as you released all over her cock. The moan she let out at the sight almost matched yours in volume and she decided she definitely wasn’t done with you.
Her strap left you for just a second. You hadn’t even come down from your orgasm or caught your breath before JJ flipped your body over until your back was on the mattress. She grabbed at your hips again and swiftly pulled you back down onto her cock. The way she put her entire body behind the power of her thrusts this time had you practically screaming. She was fucking you so hard and you already felt entirely too sensitive. The way your body shook and shuddered with each pump of her cock made JJ mesmerized. You really were taking her way better than she even expected.
Her lips crashed into yours and all you could was struggle to kiss her back as muffled moans were swallowed by her. Your hands flew to her back. Nails dug into her skin in a way that was sure to leave marks, but JJ didn’t care. She just needed to see you cum at least one more time for her.
And she got her wish. After two more hard pumps of her hips, she felt more than saw the way you fell apart on her strap yet again. Your back arched off the mattress as she pulled this second orgasm from you. You were forced to break the kiss just so you could turn your head into the bed as you came. When the orgasm finally ran through your body you collapsed back onto the mattress.
There was no way you could take anymore, at least for a little while. JJ knew that and, thankfully, pulled out after a moment. You didn’t move when she did, all you could manage to do was lay there and try to get your heart and breathing under control.
JJ moved to kneel between your legs. Her fingers reached out and ran over the wetness that was covering your thighs. You shivered slightly at the teasing touch, but still kept your head down on the mattress, too tired to move much. JJ took the finger that was covered in your cum and brought it to her lips. The satisfied moan she let out when she tasted you had your head pop back up to see what she was doing. Her eyes were closed as she slowly withdrew her finger from her own mouth.
You thought you were spent, you really did. And in a sense, you were. You even felt sore from how hard JJ had just fucked you, but still you found yourself getting wet all over again from that act.
“We’re not done yet,” JJ said as she licked her lips. “First, I’m going to get you some water and you’re going to take a minute to rest. Then we’re going to go again.”
“Again?!” You were lying if you said you didn’t want to, but also you couldn’t imagine how your body would hold up if she kept fucking you the way she was.
“You said you wanted to help…”
JJ didn’t wait to hear anymore of your protests. Honestly, you didn’t protest much after that. When JJ came back with your water, it took all of two seconds before she was on you again and again and again. By the end of the night you were so fucked out by her that she had to practically carry you to her shower. Even then, she dropped to her knees on the shower floor and ate you out like there was no tomorrow.
Despite being utterly ruined by JJ, you still felt a weird sense of pride. How many people can say they helped bring JJ out of one of her bad moods? You said you wanted to be helpful… And you certainly were.

Pogues to the rescue!
Tumblr media
Pairing: JJ Maybank x kook!reader, Platonic!Pogues x kook!reader
Summary: JJ and the Pogues come to rescue Y/n from her Kook family party.
Warnings: Kooks
Requested?: Yes! See request here!
Word count: 1.4k
A/N: Guess who's back? back again? It's moi! I apologize for how extremely long this took, life got in the way 🙂 also I did change the request a bit, and got some inspiration from the midsummers episode, hope that's okay! Oh and Sarah is not part of the Pogues for the sake of the story (not my gif)
Tumblr media
The last few hours of your life have been a bore. You were stuck at this table with egocentric old kook people who could only talk about their 'perfect' lives and their well-succeeded grandchildren. You tried your best to show interest, but your mind kept drifting off. You nodded politely at them, and every so often, you mustered up a fake smile to make them think that you were listening to their boring stories.
When you noticed that their attention was no longer on you, which was hardly surprising considering how egocentric they all are, you quietly got up from the table and left. After quickly scanning the backyard in search of your mother, you, fortunately, spotted her in a conversation with her best friends. Taking advantage of the opportunity, you made your way inside the house to use the bathroom.
As you sat down on the toilet, you felt relieved. Not only because you could finally pee, but also after hours of miserably pretending to be anything close to a Kook, you could let your guard down here, even if it was just for a few minutes.
Taking your phone from your clutch, you check for any notifications that you might have missed in the last few hours. While scrolling through Instagram, you noticed your boyfriend had posted a video on his story. In the video, JJ was smoking his Juul, surrounded by the rest of the Pogues who were dancing and singing to some song in the background.
JJ's happy smile, as he hung out with the Pogues, made you feel a sense of joy for him. The Pogues are his true family and he deserves to be this happy and comfortable all the time. Sometimes you were jealous of their relationship. Even though your family has money and shows their love and care for you in their own, unique way, you've always felt like you don't quite fit in with them. It's as if you're the odd one out. At least the Pogues always have each other and their bond is unbreakable.
You snapped a quick selfie and sent it to JJ, showing him how extremely bored you were. After putting your phone back in your clutch bag, you let out a deep sigh, realizing you had to get back to the party before your mom would put up 'missing child' posters. However, as you reached for the door handle, you heard your ringtone go off. A picture you had taken of JJ at the beach during sunset a few weeks ago, filled your phone screen. A warm feeling spread through your chest as you answered the phone, grateful that he had taken the time to call you back.
"Party that bad, huh?", JJ chuckled as he spoke.
"If I have to listen to these fake people for a minute longer, I'll pull a van Gogh myself"
You could hear JJ snickering. "That's one way to answer that question"
"Can't you just hack into a system and send some emergency alert or something?", you whined.
"Honey, I'm definitely not as smart as Pope, but what I can do is try to sneak you away?"
"Tempting as that sounds, my mom would kill me"
"C'mon baby, we both know your mom loves her reputation too much to kill her daughter", JJ joked.
You rolled your eyes. "Very funny JJ, besides I don't want to be a burden to the rest of the Pogues."
You heard JJ scoff. Since knowing JJ, you've met the Pogues a few times, yet each meeting seemed to grow more awkward than the previous one. JJ always reassures you that the rest of the Pogues just have a hard time getting comfortable around the idea that he is dating a kook, or well just kooks in general, and that it's never because of your personality. "Before you know it, they will love you as much as I do", was what he told you occasionally. But you just can't help taking it personal.
"Y/n, stop being so stubborn, and let us help you. I want you here as much as you want to leave that party. Be ready in ten. I won't take no for an answer."
You were about to protest, but before you could, the distant chatter of the other Pogues in the background went silent, indicating that JJ had already ended the call.
After giving yourself a final look in the mirror and letting out another heavy breath, you opened the door and made your way back to the party outside.
Everyone was still engrossed in conversation, and it appeared that no one noticed you had been gone. It gives you a glimmer of hope that you might be able to slip away from the party without your parents noticing. However, at the same time, you can't help but recall a few years ago when you did the same thing, only to receive a month-long grounding from them.
After nervously looking ahead for a while, and making up different scenarios in your head, you suddenly feel a tap on your shoulder. Irritated, thinking it's one of your parents wanting to remind you to be more social, you turn around.
"You look like you could use another drink. Can I maybe offer you this one?"
In front of you stood JJ, dressed up as a waiter, holding a champagne glass. He gave you that annoying but charming smirk of his.
You took the champagne from him and chugged the entire drink, making JJ chuckle.
"Thanks, you always know exactly what I need babe"
You and JJ both laughed and you turned around looking for your parents. Your mother was still talking to her friends, while your father discussed work matters as usual.
"C'mon, let's go before my parents see us leaving". You were still nervous about the consequences, but decided that, that would be a problem for later. There's nothing you want more than to be with JJ right now.
JJ took your hand and quickly led you to the front of the house. Before reaching the gate, he suddenly stopped and gave you a kiss.
"Hi baby", he spoke softly.
You smiled. "Hi, Jay".
JJ gestured with his head towards the gate. "The others are right outside waiting for us." He squeezed your hand to reassure you that it was going to be okay. You nodded and followed him.
As you turned the corner, you saw the rest of the Pogues waiting next to the Twinkie. They were talking, but stopped abruptly when they saw the two of you approaching. Pope waved shyly towards you, while John B approached you enthusiastically. "That was quick"
"Yeah, I thought those kooks would give you more trouble", Kie said, rolling her eyes and emphasizing the words 'those kooks'. You saw Pope nudge Kiara. “Sorry, no offense to you of course”, she quickly realized her mistake. You smiled weakly and shrugged your shoulder. 'Well, luckily I don't see myself as a Kook'.
There was an awkward silence until JJ cleared his throat and walked over to the Twinkie to open the door. "Let's go back to the Chateau shall we?"
You got into the back of the Twinkie first, expecting JJ to follow you, but instead, it was Kie and Pope as John B and JJ got into the front seats having their own conversation. Kie sat beside you and turned toward you.
"Hey, I want to apologize if we ever made you feel unwelcome. We just had to get used to a new person in the group, but we see how happy you make JJ and that is the most important thing for us."
"Yeah, and you're real nice and fun to hang out with Y/n", Pope added.
You smiled, "Thanks, that means a lot to me."
"And I'm actually happy there is finally a girl in this group, I love these boys but I also really need some girl time", Kiara said making everyone laugh.
You locked eyes with JJ who was already smiling and gave you a wink. A few seconds later you heard your phone go off and saw that you received a text from JJ that said "I told you they were going to love you." You rolled your eyes at him, but chuckled nonetheless. You finally felt like you belonged there.
The rest of the night was spent hanging out at the Chateau, laughing, dancing, and getting to know the Pogues better.
As for your parents, you later found out that they had tried to call you many times that night, so you ended up being grounded again, but you really couldn't care less because JJ and the Pogues were helping you through it. They would always be there for you.
aaaah the end!! so so happy I finally finished a fic again. I was busy with my graduation project and had massive writers block, but I'm back! So if you have any requests or you just want to talk to me? LMK ❤️ Okay, love you byee x

Affection - JJ Maybank (Part 2)
Tumblr media
Pairing: JJ Maybank x Fem!Reader
Author’s note: here’s part 2 of this story after like forever. find part one here. enjoy and send requests if you want! (please note, they may take a while to write, but they’ll be in the works and published in due time!)
Warnings: cursing, fighting, jj being drunk, angstttt, mentions of l*ke maybank and abuse
———————————————————————
It had been three months since you’d left JJ at the chateau. Every time you see him in public, you make eye contact and immediately look away so he doesn’t get any ideas.
JJ on the other hand could barely stop thinking about you. He always wanted to text you, call you, try to get you back, but he never was able to bring himself to do it. He didn’t want you thinking he was weak or vulnerable so you could use it to your advantage. He was always taught to keep himself at a distance so no one could take advantage of him. He always had to be in control. What was he if not strong? He remembered his dad’s beatings and how he would make his punches worse when he started crying, telling him to “man the hell up.”
His thoughts ate away at him and he needed a way to get his mind off of it. The very solution came when he heard there was a party over at the beach. He forced himself up and went to where the party was.
Little did he know, you were there too. You didn’t see him as you talked to some other people at the party. He saw you and froze in place for a few seconds. He cleared his throat and decided to try and ignore you.
He eventually decided alcohol was the best distraction from you. That proves ineffective for him. He ends up just noticing you more. What catches his attention however, is when you start smiling and talking with a guy.
If looks could kill, the guy would be dead immediately. He glared at you both as you laughed and the guy started getting touchy with you. Before JJ could process it, before he could stop himself from doing something stupid, he was on top of the guy and landing many blows to his face.
“Don’t fucking touch her!” He slurs, his punches unrelenting. You immediately grabbed JJ by his shoulders and with effort, pulled him away from the guy who was now bleeding.
“JJ, what the fuck?!” You scolded as you took him away from the party and to somewhere quieter. “What the hell were you thinking?!”
JJ grunted and avoided your angry gaze as he tried to calm down. He eventually did look at you and his gaze immediately softened even when yours didn’t. He felt his eyes fill with tears. He tried to blink them back. Even when drunk, he didn’t want to be vulnerable. He inevitably failed and felt his knees buckle as he sobbed.
“I’m sorry… I’m so s-sorry… I’m a fucking idiot…” He cries, his arms coming up to hug your waist and burying his face into your shirt.
You were taken aback by his sudden show of emotions. You kneeled down to his level and took his face in your hands, making him look at you.
“JJ, are you okay? What is going on?” You ask, concerned for him. You’d never seen him like this. Not even close. Now he was apologizing.
He averts his eyes away from yours. He looks anywhere except where you are. He can’t look at you.
“I’m so fucking stupid…” He whimpers. “I should’ve… I should’ve told you how much you meant to me… I should’ve hugged you and kissed you and given you all the love you deserve… But I was so fucking stupid… I am stupid…”
You looked at him with saddened eyes. His cries were so raw, so genuine, it was hard not to hug him. But you figured you shouldn’t until you found out everything.
“You’re not stupid, JJ. Just tell me everything, okay?” You prompted. You wanted him to feel safe enough to talk to you.
He took a few ragged breaths before speaking. “I just… It was my dad… He never showed me anything like you did… He never hugged me or showed me any form of affection…” He explains. “When you did, I didn’t know how to show it back without being cold and distant like he does… I know that’s no excuse…”
Your heart hurt when you realized it was his dad’s fault. You felt so much empathy for his situation that it was hard to be mad at him anymore. You slowly wrapped your arms around him and held him tight.
He tensed up at your touch for a moment before letting himself melt into it and reluctantly hugging you back.
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay.”
“I’m an idiot.”
“No, you’re not. Don’t ever think that.” You reassured him.
You two sat there for a while before eventually standing up and walking to the chateau to put JJ to bed. You walked inside and brought him to his room, laying him down on his bed. He groaned and curled up into the messed up sheets.
You smiled softly as you watched him look somewhat at peace while he fell asleep. He looked up at you with those pretty blue eyes of his.
“Can you stay, please?” He asked, sounding like an innocent little boy.
You couldn’t resist that innocent stare and slowly climbed in next to him. You wrapped your arms around him and he did the same to you, kissing your forehead.
Fast forward a month, and you two officially started dating again. He still struggled to fully show you physical affection but he made more of an effort to try. And as long as you both understood each other, you were both happy.

yandere jj using all of her bau connections to constantly stalk fem reader
Yandere JJ Headcanons
Tumblr media
An: I thought this request would be a good spot to put all my headcanons that would of course include the request
Warnings: Yandere, Yandere!jj, stalking, sort of kidnapping, blackmail, silent protecting, love bombing, criminal minds stuff
Criminal Minds masterlist. Other masterlists
JJ becomes super protective very quickly upon meeting you
She has a chronic ‘protect everyone’ syndrome and it is turned up to 100 when it comes to you
It becomes a sort of obsession for her, knowing that you’re safe
She wants to know what you’re doing all the time, just so she knows your safe
At that point she would be close enough to you that she could convince you to have a tracker on your car
She would tell you it’s because of all the awful things she’s seen, she’d tell you horror stories about people who go missing to make you think it was a good idea to have
As far as you know, that’s as far as it goes, but for JJ it goes much deeper
The cameras she helped you set up in your house? She has access to all of them.
Your phone she helped set up? She can track it and view everything on it
She even convinces Penelope to get something set up to monitor your computer just so she knows you aren’t doing anything to unsafe
If she did find anything she didn’t like she’d do anything in her power to get rid of it.
If it’s a person your talking to she would find anything she could on them, finding whatever secret they have and anonymously threatening them with it to keep them from you
If you’re doing something she doesn’t like she’ll come to you with it and say she ‘stumbled across it’ and basically guilt you into not doing whatever it is she’s deemed to be ‘unsafe’
Once a romantic relationship has started jj would love bomb you as much as she possibly could
She wants you to see her as the thing that makes you happiest in the world so that you never once think about leaving her
She would basically make you think that you were never truly happy without her
Would basically force you to move in with her.
You should be on your own, don’t you know how many girls they have to investigate because they lived alone and something bad happened?
It’s just safer if you live with her. Besides, your so happy when your together why not make it a more often thing
Jj secretly loves you living with her and wants you to quit your job
She likes supporting you and having someone to ‘take care of the house’ while she’s gone.
Basically, you’re her pretty little housewife that she is certain will always be safe.

Today I continued my Star Trek journey by rewatching Star Trek (2009) and boy howdy do I have some thoughts.
Tumblr media
So first off, I saw this for the first time when I came out in 2009. It wasn’t my first experience with Star Trek, but it was probably my first with Kirk and Spock and that gang. I remember liking it a lot.
Now that I’ve watched all of TOS and a few of the movies with the original cast my feelings are a little more complicated.
Overall, fun movie! I imagine they had to have felt the weight of recasting and redoing such iconic characters, and in a lot of ways they succeeded. It certainly got younger people like me interested in the franchise!
💫 Spock: I do love this version of him. His “live long and prosper” to the VSA is perfectly bitchy and I’m obsessed with it.
Tumblr media
💫BONES!! if you’ve read any of my other posts you’ll know that somehow Bones snuck up on me as my favorite character. I love his intro here, and I think Karl Urban gets the tone just right. This really is a buffet for the McKirkers out there, I can see how this led to 1000 academy era fics of them.
Tumblr media
💫Kirk: oh Jim. Jimmy Jim Jim. Baby boy. What are you doing. How did being played by Chris Pine (who is incredibly hot) make you LESS attractive??
Obviously this Kirk suffers from some Kirk drift and the added trauma of losing his dad. He’s so much angrier, so much less sweet and nerdy. Rewatching this now I can see why I was so hesitant to like him in TOS because he’s a lot less lovable here.
Tumblr media
💫 I get it’s an emergency and they had to for plot reasons, but almost all of Pike’s staffing choices make no sense. Sure, Spock as acting captain, I get that. But everyone else?? Imagine being one of the other people there who has been with starfleet for years and seeing him hand Kirk the role of first officer. The ship can’t be entirely cadets can it?? Imagine the group texts going around after like “thank god he didn’t die because I really need to bitch about this.”
Tumblr media
💫 I love all three Uhuras (tos, aos, and snw) and I get why they made her Spock’s love interest here because they’ve got fun chemistry! They have a lot in common, they’re both hot and smart, I get it. But cmon guys, that man is a 6 on the Kinsey scale. You keep pairing him with women and it doesn’t work.
Tumblr media
💫 I feel like they worked in lots of little references to classic trek, from plot stuff to smaller details like when Spock enters from the turbolift at the end in a very TMP way. I love that, it makes me feel like the people making the movie really care about the stories and the characters. When Spock Prime says good luck I felt all the weight of his relationship with his Jim and how it changed him. So lovely and touching.
And just how close they made Kirk and Spock stand, especially towards the end of the movie. They were always glued to each other in TOS and JJ must have known us Spirk shippers needed something to latch on to 😅
Tumblr media
💫 There’s too much action in this movie for me. We didn’t need to see Scotty beamed into the water tank. The best sf stuff is always story based, I don’t need extravagant fights and cgi shit. I’m sure there are people who watch science fiction for the spectacle but I’m here for the ideas and the feelings.
Tumblr media
💫 goddddd everything with Vulcan and losing Amanda. Rip all our hearts out why don’t you. Spock’s mom dying is just heartbreaking. I know they had to lose someone we knew to make the destruction of the planet more real to us as viewers but so crushing to see it.
Tumblr media
💫 Old Spock 😭😭😭
He knows right away who Jim is and expects that Jim found him on purpose.
Old Spock just launched right in to the mind meld huh. To me this really says that he and his Jim are on very casual mind meld terms and he’s not fully understanding that this Jim is not his Jim.
Think about how fucking weird all this must be for old Spock. How heartbreakingly strange it would be so see a young version of your husband and send him to a young version of yourself. Meeting all your old friends young selves, years after you’ve lost them all.
Tumblr media
And from here out it’s just miscellaneous thoughts I jotted down while watching that don’t fit great anywhere else:
⭐️I love when the redshirt is so excited to get the Romulans and Kirk gets this look like… that’s why you’re here? Dude the battle not the appeal here. A nice glimpse of how this Kirk is similar at heart to TOS Kirk.
⭐️Love you Sulu and your fencing skills
⭐️I love when they stop the lift for emotional reasons.
⭐️“Our destinies have changed” goddddd great speech Spock
⭐️Jim has the look of a man who is frequently escorted places by security
⭐️Spock wants to break Kirk so bad 😂
⭐️When Jim slaps Spock’s back and Spock has a look of “I think that just awakened something in me.”
⭐️Spock you’re calling him Jim already? You slut. (Delighted, affectionate)
Overall I think it’s a fun movie but it misses a lot of what’s at the heart of the classic Trek I love. They try to do everything too fast and it just doesn’t work as well for me. I’m excited to rewatch the next two and see how these versions of the characters change!

Ooh, pls tell us your thoughts about the 3x05 bike scene!
Okayyy. So I kinda had thoughts on this when watching the scene but talking about JJ taking the fall for Pope and his self sacrificing tendencies it got a little more fleshed out in my mind.
So time and time again we have JJ putting his friends above him. Above his life, future and safety. All to different degrees but it’s a recurring theme. JJ leading the dog away, confessing to a felony he didn’t commit, preparing for a shoot out for John b, jail break plan ect ect ect. And the bike chase scene is just a continuation of this reckless, self sacrificing, self fulfilling prophecy sort of behaviour. He’s going to die young or end up in jail anyway - so might as well do it for something worth while.
In this case we get JJ provoking and leading away the cops - not before making sure Kie is safe and away from this risk - leading to a very dangerous chase that will end in him getting arrested or dying, like he almost did. To protect his friends and what’s important to them, the cross. JJ does this because he sees this as his role, and it gets reinforced in moments when Pope lets him take the fall like I was saying earlier. JJ’s been raised to think love is conditional, conditional to what you give and to not take to much. So it’s almost like JJ feels the need to show his worth to his friends by being this scapegoat for them constantly, there’s a reason for them to keep him around and love him then.
And this continually gets reinforced to JJ after the fact because of how the pogues react when he makes it out and is okay. When he sees Pope again at midsummers he gets a hug and concern from Pope. Aka he receives affection and proof of love so it makes when he did worth it and justifies it in his head. Self-sacrifice = people love you.
The same thing happens after the bike accident. Pope hugs him, happy and excited that he’s alive. Even Sarah who pushed him and tells him off a bit hugs him and is overall is just relieved that he’s alive and okay. More love. More reassurance. More justification for him acting like he’s does.
But. For the first time. We get a response that sends a different message to JJ. He get Kies reaction. Which isn’t just pure relief that he’s okay. Which isn’t just hugging him and holding him close and showering him in love. We get Kie who’s just had a breakdown thinking she lost him, we get Kie staring him down, mad, telling him not to do it again.
The guilt on JJ’s face is so evident in this moment. In this moment it is made clear to him that losing him would wreck kiara. That the sacrifice would not be worth the cost to her. That he’s worth more than what they have to gain from him doing dumb shit. Kie doesn’t just let him get away with it, she doesn’t reinforce this idea in his head of what his role is, this idea that if he does everything he can to make sure his friends are okay it will prove he loved them and in return they will love him. That that’s how you get people to care about you, by serving them. But instead Kie is mad at him and JJ can finally see that by hurting himself it’s not just hurting him. And that the loss of him would actually truly effect the others. That in trying to help them by putting himself beneath them is actually hurting them.
I think Kie’s reaction here is something so new and different to JJ and it started that tipping point of him knowing his worth. Of him realising that he’s loved unconditionally and he doesn’t need to earn it. Finally JJ can see the effect him doing these things has on other rather than them just being greatfull that he came out okay in the end.

We need more tlou3 ellie x reader
There are two tropes I’m an absolute bitch, whore, and slut for. Ellie x reader as mothers and ellie x reader after the events of the last of us part two!
My bored and lonely brain was thinking as usual and I realized we don’t have enough ellie x reader post-epilogue. Which is like… why? The amount of angst and eventual fluff that could be added is insane. Watching Ellie grapple with the gut-wrenching aftermath of grief and slowly finding her new purpose. Becoming her old self again and healing with a new lover along the way.
I started thinking of story ideas and settled on this one being my favorite. It might be crap or it might be genius, I dunno.
(just imagine how desperate and passionate the smut would be)
————————————————————————————
!!!THIS IS JUST A SUMMARY NOT AN ACTUAL FIC!!!
Tumblr media
౨ৎ Ellie’s spent months in Jackson trying to make amends with Dina and JJ. There are hard consequences she has to face, being that betrayal isn’t easily forgotten, and every single street corner and creaky saloon reminds her of Joel Miller. This town used to be a safe haven, a sanctuary where she was met with warm people and even warmer memories. Memories turn to bittersweet shackles that tug her back from being full, leaving an empty shell of what once was. She thought her new purpose was getting her family back, but that wasn’t enough. There’s no fairness to her finding comfort in the arms of a former lover she hurt so bad, left to rot just like all the other lives sacrificed in the name of her living. Talks of fireflies banding together to build communities and restore humanity leave Ellie curious as she’s reminded of the cross-country journey that brought her to this position in the first place. Jerry Anderson is dead thanks to her, so there’s no hope for a vaccine, but there might be a sliver of light for a second chance. Ellie yearns to be apart of something greater. A journey that could once again fill the void that is her soul. She’s taken enough from this barren Earth already, why not give back? Setting off for the fireflies, she’s met with a familiar face from her past, the murderer of Joel Miller.
Abby Anderson and Ellie Williams share two things in common. They have the same goals of building a larger group of survivors, and they’ve taken a liking to you.
You who became close friends with Abby soon after she found the fireflies on Catalina Island with a scrawny scar-faced boy accompanying her. She might be the most genuine person you’ve ever met, which makes it shameful when you start giggling a little too hard at a certain auburn-haired girl’s jokes. The same auburn-haired girl who’s constantly mentioned in Abby’s tales of the crazy immune chic who used to be set on killing her.
Ellie wasn’t looking to make friends on this mission. She wanted to seek the fireflies and support them in whatever greater goal they had in store. However, she feels this sweet tangy guilt when she finds herself admiring the way you laugh at her jokes. The way your lips quirk up in a grin that’s all too amused to be friendly. With Dina and JJ still hot on her mind, she insists that you’re nothing but a friend crush. But it’s been months and Dina still hasn’t taken her back, understandably so… Maybe it wouldn’t hurt for Ellie to seek comfort in another’s touch. Maybe the fear of not being good enough for her former family can be set aside. Just for now, while she’s knuckles deep in your cunt. She swears to herself it’s a fling and you’re nothing more than a placeholder. A placeholder who Ellie happens to hold very, very dear to her heart. We change people like seasons change color, and as seasons pass the old is replaced with something new. A fresh start might be what this crazy immune chic needs.
Stolen campfire kisses, deep late night conversations, and talks of the stars reignite a spark in the pits of Ellie’s core. If you light a match in front of a moth, it’ll chase it. And baby you’re a whole wildfire.
————————————————————————————
I wouldn’t plan on this being an ellie x reader x abby love triangle, but after writing that summary out I’m realizing it has potential to be one. Love triangles are just a bit cliche to my liking and I’d want this to be super Ellie focused. Like from her pov and everything. It’s about her emotional rollercoaster and learning to love/be loved again.
Exploring Ellie’s dynamics with different people is so yummy and I feel like this wouldn’t just be a romance for Ellie x reader, but also an enemies to friends for Ellie x Abby.
Once again, I’m not a writer so I’ll probably never turn this into a series. If there ARE any writers out there who are interested in this idea and would wanna work together I’d be so down.

Why do you hide?
Fandom: Criminal Minds
Characters: Reid, the BAU team
Summary: Reid avoids going to his yearly check up for the third year in a row, only this time his team members notice and try to help.
A/N: I admittedly have no idea if yearly check ups are a thing you have to do for work, but pretend it's a thing lmao.
Words: 2.1k
Reid knew what JJ had on her mind the moment he saw her crossing the office to get to where he was standing in front of the closing elevator, and because he knew what was on her mind he did the only thing his semi panicked mind could think of: he turned around and ran, if you could call walking slightly faster than usual running.
“Spence!” Her voice was muffled, which meant she was still inside the office which was good for him. He had absolutely no idea where he was going which in turn made him walk right past the most obvious escape routes (stairs, doors) and instead round the office area over and over. He could hear her behind him now, laughing because this surely looked ridiculous.
“Why are you avoiding me?” She grabbed a handful of his shirt, always stronger than you’d expect, and pulled them both to a halt. “What are you doing?”
“Oh hey.”
“Don’t ‘oh hey’ me.” She was still laughing, caught between concern and amusement and most likely stuck on incredulousness. Reid couldn’t blame her. “Why did you run?”
“No reason.”
“Oh my god, you’re not even pretending to genius your way out of this.” Her expression melted into proper concern. “What’s wrong?”
Guilt seized him, pressing into his chest. “It’s nothing, I promise, I just- Well, I know what you were coming to talk to me about.”
“How could you know that?”
Reid shifted. “Well, statistically it is around autumn time that we do our annual check ups, seeing as most people have recently come back from vacation, flu season is approaching, and the bureau wants to get all of those menial but necessary tasks out of the way before the holidays. It makes sense that you would want to talk to me about it even though that is not technically your job, but with your maternity leave getting closer and Gideon gone I think more tasks like these have ended up in both yours and Hotch’s hands and you probably realized that I-”
“Have skipped your yearly check up for the past three years? Yeah, we noticed.” She softened, something almost maternal crossing her features for just a moment. “Spencer, you know you need to do them. We all do.”
He fiddled with the hem of his sweater. Gideon had been kind about it when he’d realized Reid hadn’t gone to his appointment. He’d not asked. Had figured Reid had his reasons. In the back of his mind, overpowered by the neverending grief of Gideon’s departure, there was a small part of him which had been worried about this exact thing happening. He wasn’t sure what to even say if anyone asked.
But JJ didn’t ask. JJ was also kind about it.
“Tomorrow morning, Spence,” she was saying now, pointing at him. “Don’t let me hear you skipped it this year too.”
“I won’t let you hear it.”
“Spencer.”
He deflated. “Fine.”
“Good. Coffee?”
“Tons of it, please.”
*
Reid wouldn’t call it luck more than a momentary distraction that they needed to be in the air only hours later to fly to Pennsylvania, because he knew neither JJ nor Hotch would be dropping this. He avoided their eyes as if he’d committed the murder himself during the entire flight, but it was easy to have his face stuck in all the files. No one really questioned it.
“The doctor told me I have hypermobile shoulders,” Morgan was saying to Emily.
“Better than the opposite, I guess,” Emily replied. “I’ve gotten better at stretching this past year so she was very happy with me.”
“Wouldn’t want to get a bad grade on your yearly check up,” Morgan laughed. “Hey, Reid?”
Reid, who had stiffened the moment the conversation had started, jumped. “Y-yeah?”
“Sorry, did I scare you?”
“Well, I’m kind of busy.”
“Okay, testy. I was just gonna ask about your check up grade.”
“Oh, he’s not had his yet,” JJ said, sending him a look which he refused to interpret. “We’ll have to reschedule it.”
“Ah, that’s the worst. I’d be overthinking it. Like what are the chances of me developing asthma overnight or something.” Emily’s tone was light, laughter-laced, but Hotch seemed to grab onto her words much more tightly than she’d probably assumed.
“Is that something that worries you?” He was speaking to them all. “The yearly check up?”
Scratch that. His gaze was on Emily, but he was speaking only to Reid.
She shrugged. “Not really. I reckon you’d notice if something’s off before it, although I agree it’s a good system to have. You can never be sure.”
Hotch nodded, seemingly content, but when he dragged his eyes from Emily back to his own file it landed briefly on Reid, holding his gaze for a second too long.
Reid, stupidly, unnecessarily, flushed and lowered his head again, all but touching the file with his nose.
This was gonna be a long week.
*
“Hey kid.” He looked up from his desk to Morgan hovering over him. “JJ told me to tell you your check up’s at three today and to not be late.”
Reid shifted in his chair. They’d only been back for a few hours. He’d hoped that JJ would’ve given him another day at least. “Okay.”
“You seem nervous about it.” Morgan tilted his head, as if something clicked. “Come to think of it, you seemed tense about it earlier this week too. You okay?”
Reid waved him off. “I’m fine.”
“No, seriously. Do you have a fear of doctors?” Morgan leaned closer and lowered his voice. “Is it because of your mother?”
Reid had once confided in him that he was scared the doctors wouldn’t be able to detect it in time if his mother’s schizophrenia had been passed down to him. In retrospect it did sound as if he had a general distrust for doctors because of his mother, who’d not gotten the help she needed early enough. Maybe Reid could use that, only it didn’t feel right. He trusted medical doctors. He trusted they knew much better than him.
He shook his head. “No, no, I just-” He shrugged. “It’s nothing. It’s stupid.”
“I’m sure it’s not stupid.” But Morgan seemed okay about dropping it. It really wasn’t the place to push it anyway, with the office just returning to life after lunch. Reid was grateful for that, only it meant his check up was in two hours and he wasn’t sure he was ready. Felt the first surge of panic about it grip him.
And the worst part was that it really was stupid.
*
“I knew you’d be here.”
Reid knew Hotch would find him and so he wasn’t surprised, only a little shameful, when he looked up to meet his eyes. “I’m sorry.”
Hotch pulled a chair out, one far enough that he wasn’t in Reid’s space, and sat. “Why don’t you tell me what’s going on?”
How the hell do you talk about something like this with your boss? “I’m not sure I can.”
“Okay.” Hotch said it slowly, as if waiting for him to elaborate. “How come?”
“It’s embarrassing.”
Hotch raised an eyebrow. “Embarrassing.”
“You’ll think I’m being silly.”
“I would never think that.”
Reid looked down. Crossed something off of the note he’d been writing when Hotch had entered. “You will.”
“Reid, you’re scaring me. Should I have reason to be worried?”
Reid looked up again. Saw something terrified behind Hotch’s eyes. “I’m not using again,” he said quickly, realizing his behavior was probably alerting a whole different type of concern. “It’s not that.” Not this year. It had definitely been part of it last year, although not the main issue. Hotch didn’t seem convinced and Reid couldn’t blame him. “I will pee in any cup you want. I promise you, Hotch.”
“Okay.” Hotch leaned back. “Then what is it? Because as far as I’m aware your check up was supposed to start twenty minutes ago and you’re hiding in here.”
Reid exhaled slowly. “Like I said. Embarrassing.”
“Reid.”
“I just don’t like being touched by strangers.” It wasn’t a lie. Not the whole truth, but part of it enough that it wasn’t a lie. “It makes me feel… uncomfortable.”
“Uncomfortable.” Hotch tilted his head. Did his best not to profile him. “Has it always been like this?”
“Pretty much my whole life. Nothing’s happened, in case that’s what you think. Nothing I can remember at least.” He shrugged. “It probably has something to do with my undiagnosed autism.”
“Ah.”
“You’re not surprised.”
“I’m not, no.”
“Good.” Reid exhaled. “It means you understand.”
“I do to an extent, but Reid-” Hotch cut himself off, visibly trying to figure out how to approach this. “You do realize that that is no excuse to not do a mandatory check up, right? If you had talked to me I could’ve arranged some sort of accommodation. Now it just looks like you’re playing hooky.”
Reid hung his head. “I’m sorry.”
Hotch checked his watch. “There’s still time to do it. I can go with you.”
“No, no, it’s okay.”
“It would be no problem. Maybe it will help you feel calmer.”
“Garcia can go with me.” Reid had blurted it out, but the moment he said it he knew he’d said the right name. Garcia wouldn’t judge. Garcia would maybe tease, but she’d never judge. “If that’s okay?”
“Of course.” If Hotch was hurt that he was picking someone over him he didn’t show it. “I’ll let her know.”
*
Reid sat in front of the doctor and felt like a child. Garcia was doing her best to not squeeze his hand to death or bounce a hole on the floor, because those were the courses of action she’d decided to keep switching between. “I don’t like doctors,” she’d told him in the elevator, but she’d not protested when he’d asked, and so he’d not offered to let her off the hook.
“I hear you were trying to avoid me,” the doctor said, her tone light but firm. “Is there anything in particular you’d like to ask about before we start?”
“No.”
“Okay then. Now, this does not hurt at all and will be over quick. Sit up straighter for me. Breathe in. I need to listen to your lungs. Just like that. Well done, doctor Reid.”
Reid endured the coldness of the stethoscope on his chest and back and only tensed up a little when the doctor touched his lower back. Garcia was watching him intently, which in retrospect was his own fault and made him feel all the more tense. Maybe that was why he jumped when the doctor suddenly touched his side, briefly but softly. And Garcia, who was doing everything in her power to try to be there for him, understood.
“You’re ticklish.”
“Shh, not so loud.”
“That is adorable, boy genius.”
Reid groaned as they entered the elevator. “I don’t like that procedures like that forces you to remain still as you’re being subjected to sensations that you’re not supposed to be still while being subjected to-”
“So you’re saying you’d be fine with it if you were allowed to squirm away?”
“Well, kind of-”
“Say no more,” Garcia laughed, her index finger in Reid’s ribs, only for a quick poke, but Reid jerked away from it nonetheless. “So ribs, sides. Where else are you ticklish?”
“Nowhere.”
“Oh, don’t lie to me now. You can’t have avoided going to your check ups for years just for two spots.”
Reid held up his hands, a smile already on his face and nowhere to really run. Still better than the doctor’s office. Much much better.
“If you don’t tell me I will try them all,” she threatened, taking a step closer to him. “I’ll give you five seconds.”
Reid took a step back and found himself pressed against the wall. “Please.”
“Five.”
“Oh my god, Garcia, I beg of you-”
“Four.”
“Don’t tell Morgan about this, please don’t-”
“Three, two, one.” She stuck her hand beneath his chin. “You ramble for too long.”
Reid was too busy giggling to reply, although he could hear her cooing as well as he could hear the elevator reach their level, knowing she wasn’t done with him by any means but was probably kind enough to destroy him in private at the very least. She was laughing when she backed off, a threatening, teasing laugh, and despite his sensitivity he appreciated the playfulness much more than the concern.
“Watch your back, wonder boy,” she said, pointing at him as she walked away.
Reid exhaled, catching sight of Hotch nodding as he received a thumbs up from Garcia.
He ran a hand through his hair before entering the office with his head held high, hoping his smile had melted into a casual expression and that he wasn’t too flushed.
Much better than the doctor’s office.

Outer Banks Fanfiction
Tumblr media
Rafe x fem OC + JJ x fem OC
Word count: 5k
Summary: A new Kook moved to the Outer Banks with her family. She spent most of her summers in Wisconsin indoors, never daring to get close to other people - but when she met the Pogues, everything changed; she found a group that she belonged in, even if she was technically considered affluent. But before she knew it, she couldn't help but fond of the reckless blonde-haired boy named JJ ... Although, without her knowledge, her parents have other plans. Rafe Cameron is wild and undisciplined, always out and never home. The Colisl's and the Camerons conjured the notion that an arrangement between the two could hopefully bring Rafe back to the ground - but what happens when she ends up falling for both?
That was it – that was the very last straw: there was no way in hell I was showing up to some ignorant party, especially after Rafe explicitly told us not to. There was absolutely no decision or path within this bonfire that could possibly lead to a good butterfly effect in the long run. Maybe it was pessimistic of me to think so, but from the paltry comments my friends would make about Rafe to the limited time I had just spent with him, Rafe wasn’t one to shy away from expressing his hatred towards the Pogue’s. I can’t imagine what the other Kooks would do too if they shared that same innate abhorrence.
I couldn’t help it anymore; my dissent was already flowing out of me like some kind of river. “Sarah … I don’t think –.”
The instinctive words that left my mouth were soon overshadowed by John B. “I don’t know Sarah … I’m not 100% sure I want to be around any kooks right now.” Sarah peered up at her boyfriend as he talked, her head tilted, and eyes narrowed.
“I could be around some kooks,” My eyes shot over towards JJ as he began his statement, a look of utter shock written clear across my face due to the tilt of my eyebrows – at least, until he finished his comment. “If I get to punch one of them in face.”
My face softened, a sense of relief washing over me once I realized the intentions behind JJ’s desire to be around such repulsive individuals. But once my brain finally caught up with the notion of his declaration, my heart rate increased substantially. Inside my mind were constant images, visible pictures of people tumbling all over the ground near the fire as blood sprayed from open wounds. I didn’t want to be surrounded by a sea of Kooks to begin with and knowing that someone’s fist would most likely connect with my jaw because JJ decided it would be a fun game to knock a Kook out, only solidified my desire to stay cloistered.
So, as soon as the group became silent, I continued my assertion from earlier. “We should stay here.”
“I agree with Belles – if we go, it’ll just wreak havoc.” I smiled at Pope, the only one who had common sense whenever it came to … well, anything.
“I guess we could just skinny dip instead,” JJ’s eyes trailed over to mine as he spoke, his irises resembling the color of ice. “Belles what do you say?” I didn’t react much to his comment, mainly because I had become accustomed to his immodest jokes – although this time, with the way his attention glazed over me, it felt rather more like veracity than banter.
“Come on guys, please.” Sarah’s eyes glanced between all of us. “Topper intentionally didn’t invite me, and this is by far my favorite party of the summer.”
Once Toppers name was part of the puzzle piece, John B’s unsure demeanor was replaced with hubris – or was it a plan? “Actually, I changed my mind,” His voice took Sarah by surprise. “A Kook party kind of sounds fun.”
I was too astonished to form a coherent sentence; only three words were able to glide off my tongue. “Wait, who? what?”
JJ on the other hand was absolutely giddy. He hurdled as close as he could to us, his hair ruffled from the wind and his lips twisted in some sort of wicked smirk. “Hell yeah! Now that’s that I’m talking about!”
“Guys, this isn’t a good idea …” Pope’s voice trailed off once he noticed Sarah was already halfway to her car.
The two of us realized pretty quickly that there was no point in debating anymore, because once again, she had everyone following her plan.
I internally groaned at my friend’s incessant stubbornness, trying hard to hide the irksome mien that was begging to display on my face. My feet dragged across the overgrown path; my arms wrapped tightly around my body to shield myself from the wind that was attempting to keep me stationary. Nonetheless, I trudged forwards, eyeing my friends who seemed to eagerly await the disaster that was bound to unfold.
Sarah had thrown herself inside the car, the engine roaring back to life once the key had been turned. Her eyes were squinted; a smile tugged at the ends of her lips. It was almost as if she had no sense of awareness – like she couldn’t see past her own wishes to understand that not everything goes accordingly to plan. I mean, it was one thing for us to crash our friend’s boy’s night, but another for us to show up unannounced at a party full of strangers … or more accurately, her ex-boyfriend’s get together.
Yet everyone kept this horrendous plan in motion.
John B was quick to call shotgun, his body hopping into the seat directly next to his girlfriend. Sadly, with the passenger spot now taken, that meant it was up to the three of us to decide who was destined to sit in the middle: the worst position to have due to its narrow leg room. Pope wasted no time in claiming the right side, sprinting around the car, and securing his seat next to the door.
JJ and I pushed ourselves against each other, framing away from the left entrance so neither of us would be forced to be sandwiched between two people. “I’m not getting in the middle JJ.”
“I’m not getting in the middle either.” He retorted.
We continued to wrestle, shove each other as much as we could to try to win – but we both had no luck in that division. JJ huffed lowly, his hands creeping down my waist until they wrapped firmly around my hips. The tips of my fingers quickly shot over his, ready to pry them off my body; however, before I could even feel his skin underneath mine, I was somehow fully inside the car. He slid his grip away from my pelvis and towards the back of my thighs, pushing me further inside until he had enough room to sit next to me, solidifying the idea that I was now stuck between two morons with absolutely no space.
“I hate the middle.” I whispered under my breath; my body now leaned forward to keep from touching their figures.
JJ ignored my complaint and outstretched his arm behind my chair, his hand loosely falling between Pope and me. He cleared his throat, preparing to speak up during the quietness that now surrounded the group. “Should we grab Kie?”
Sarah, who was in the midst of backing out, slammed on her brakes. “Shit! Can someone text her?”
“I can,” Pope grunted. “Only I think she won’t want to go.”
Honestly, it would be a smart move on her part to stay home, avoid the catastrophe that was about to happen. But instead, she fell into the trap. Kie had texted Pope back, agreeing to come with us. She was somehow prepared to sneak out of her parent’s house, clamor into the already crowded car, and risk a grounding just to be part of the dumb decisions Sarah and most of the boys had made.
My head rolled back against the headrest, my eyes flickering between the left and right window of the car as Sarah now directed the automobile away from JJ’s home and towards Kie’s residence. I couldn’t exactly read the speedometer from here, but from the quick passing of scenery it was apparent she was going above the limit – as if she couldn’t wait any longer to dance around the bonfire. I ignored the rising sensation of nausea, observing as the plants changed from bushy to clean kept, the main indication that we were now in Kook zone. It was an odd feeling being able to tell the difference between Kook and Pogue just from terrain, but that’s how it was … It was like were on two different planets even if our beaches were the same.
Once we finally got to Kie’s house, she seemed to already be prepared; her body was sat neatly on top of her wrap-around porch, a small duffel bag was thrown over her shoulder, and a cute multi-colored bikini top shined underneath the moonlight. Her fingers tugged at the ends of her denim shorts while she stood up, her feet now making their way down the driveway and towards JJ’s side.
The moment she threw open the door to expose the lack of seats, I spoke up. “I’ll get in the trunk.” It was a harmless idea, the perfect opportunity to get me away from the two bodies squeezing me into a pencil; although, as I turned my body around, preparing to climb over the seats to lay down, Sarah halted me.
“Uh, actually the trunk is full …” At first, I thought she was messing with me. Trying to give an excuse in hopes that it would force JJ and me to get closer … but she wasn’t. There, piled in the back, were three large cardboard boxes filled to the brim with what I suppose is special cargo.
“Well what the fuck are we supposed to do now?!” Pope’s voice raised slightly.
“Shhhh, shut the fuck up Pope.” Kie snapped, looking up at her home to ensure that no lights had turned on from the noise.
Sarah shrugged her shoulders, her eyes now following JJ who decided to take matters into his own hands. “I can scoot over, and Pope can sit on my lap.”
“I’m not sitting on your lap,” Pope quickly retorted. “Belles you can take one for the team, right?”
My eyes widened at my friend who had just spoken the most brainless idea into existence. Hastily, I turned my attention to Sarah, terrified to see what look she had on her face – and just as I thought, it was the expression of a lightbulb going off. “That works with me!” Sarah gleefully added.
“Wait -” Again, I got cut off.
“We need to hurry; I seriously don’t want to be a waiting duck for my parents to see me hopping into a car.” Kie appeared to have no care about this scheme, trying to rush this venture as fast as she could so we’d hit the road.
JJ immediately took that into account, not waiting for any more comments; he slithered underneath me, his hands back on my hips as he tugged me down onto his lap. It was merely an innocent act, a decent action that was caused by the lack of room we had in the automobile. But still, my cheeks began to get warm, the palms of my hands now dampened with sweat. I was too petrified to move, too scared to make any subtle adjustments that could push us closer together by accident. It would’ve been different if I was on Pope – a sweet boy who would never dare make humor out of an uncomfortable situation that involved me … But I was on JJ, the notorious playboy in Pogue standards.
JJ knew what it felt like to have girls on his lap. For goodness sake, his hand was already over my legs, his trimmed nails making involuntary circles as if he did this kind of thing every day. I glanced over at him in my peripheral, surveying his eyes that were still glued to a conversation between the group that I was desperately drowning out just to nitpick the miniscule touch between JJ and me.
The boy underneath me chuckled at something John B said, his fits of laughter shaking both of our bodies. I froze in place; my body stiffened to try and maintain the least possible friction between us. I absolutely hated this … and I also loathed the party we were barreling towards. There seemed to be no good outcome for me in any scenario I played in my head. I hated being in the car and I hated having to go to a stupid bonfire – why couldn’t I have just stayed at Sarah’s?
“Belles?” Kie’s voice took me out of my dreadful trance.
“Huh?” I replied.
John B erupted into a fit of laughter at my confusion, his hand reaching behind the seat so he could place it neatly on JJ’s leg. “You liking your spot?”
I grimaced at that comment. “Not at all.”
JJ gasped in appall as if he couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t like to be sat on top of him. “That hurt,” His fingers twitched on top of my skin, causing me to tug at the end of my dress to try and cover more of my legs. “I think I’m a fabulous seat.”
“JJ you’re built like a rock – don’t be surprised she hates it.” Kie rolled her eyes at her friend’s crude joking mannerism.
“Hey, no one else has complained before.” His hands moved away from my legs and on top my hips as he tried to adjust his position.
“That’s because no one wants to hurt your sensitive feelings.” Sarah chimed in, her boyfriend now breaking out into laughter once again from her comment.
JJ shoved both his legs open, forcing Pope and Kie to be squished further into the side doors which earned him a couple shouts. But he ignored it. His fingers, that were softly pressed into my hips, slid me forward so I could sit on the cushion between his legs. My anxiety dissipated as soon as our bodies were nowhere near as close, something that I should’ve loved; instead, for some reason, I missed the clammy feeling – yearning for the twitch of his hands against my thigh once again. “That better?” JJ tilted his head to the side, his soft expression in the corner of my eye.
No, no it was not better – but I’d never admit that. “Yes.”
“Well, don’t get too comfortable – because we’re here.” And as if on cue, the beat of an atrocious song sunk into our car, rocking the ground beneath us.
I covered my ears with the palm of my hands, attempting to decrease the frequency that managed to make its way into our automobile from the beach. It was somehow louder than the music I blared in the shower; even the screams that came from the crowd right next to us were drowned out by the bass. We all quickly glanced at each other, and without hesitation, exited the car. There was nothing spoken between us, but from the expressions I saw – we were all terrified that if the car kept shaking, we’d tumble with it.
The six of us gathered into a tiny huddle before we made it down the hill, our heads all touching one another in an attempt to hear what each of us were saying. “Try to avoid confrontation, we’ll just get thrown out,” Sarah glared over at JJ who was already cracking his knuckles. “I’m talking to you JJ.”
“I’ll try.” He responded.
Sarah accepted that reply and allowed us to break away from our mini gathering and head towards the beach. The music in some way got even louder the closer we got, so much so that it felt like it hindered my sight. The bass that forced the ground to shake with each lyrical note made the people around me flash in and out like they were some sort of strobe light. I couldn’t even appreciate the gigantic campfire sitting in the middle of the sandy landscape, too nauseous to retain any sort of images surrounding me.
“I’m grabbing drinks!” Sarah shouted.
"I’ll come with!” John B added.
Kie followed their chants right after. “Me too!”
And without notice, the three of them disappeared within the crowd.
I had hoped we would all stick together, keep an eye on each other to ensure that no one stepped out of line – but that was a dire wish. The minute a couple girls eyed JJ and Pope; they were off. I was now left alone, forced to find my way around the sweaty bodies that were comprised of people eating each other’s faces off as if it was their last meal.
I avoided the grotesque crowd of people, weaving my way through the drunken individuals while I made my way closer to the water – the one place where no one was at. My mission was almost accomplished, the dampness of sand coming into sight … however, before the waves could crash into my feet, someone obnoxiously bumped into my shoulder.
I whipped around, seeing a tall boy with dirty blonde hair and a yellow polo stumbling to maintain his balance while he held onto a red solo cup. “Sorry.” I muttered.
There wasn’t actually anything I needed to be sorry for, but I had hoped that maybe an unprompted apology would be enough to let me go away unscathed from this awkward run-in. But of course, the other person had to get a word in. “Is-abelle?” I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, unsure how the boy in front of me knew my name. “From .. what’s it called? Hmm … sss… Stats?” I narrowed my eyes, taking in the features on his face that looked familiar, only I still couldn’t place it. “It’sss … to.. uh.. Topper!” His words slurred together but even in a garble that was a name that was quite hard to miss – Sarah’s ex-boyfriend.
I guess I never realized we had Stats together; to be honest I didn’t recognize anyone in my classes apart from my acquaintances – probably because I try my best to keep my head down. Though, it is kind of funny. I had always wanted to meet Topper, see what Sarah’s previous boyfriend looked like due to pure curiosity … but who would’ve thought I knew him the whole time.
"Y-you’re … sss… uh.. quiet.” He slurred again, starting the conversation back up.
“I’m sorry, I just -” Topper found a way to cut me off with his stammer.
"I-I’ve always uh … er … wanted to t-t … talk to you,” His body swayed with every syllable. “I li-like … uh … think er … you – you’re r-really pretty.”
Yep, he has had way too much to drink.
"Topper!” A familiar voice boomed lowly over the music, a pair of shoes sinking into the damp sand becoming more audible as the seconds passed by. And before I could even process it, a tall boy with the same tan pullover I saw in Sarah’s driveway appeared from the darkness – Rafe Cameron.
Rafe appeared to have the same sense of bewilderment, his body paused, and eyes glued on to me – the girl who stood in front of his best friend. It wasn’t long before his irises shifted downwards, traveling over my outfit, the same way JJ’s eyes did; only they didn’t linger as long as his. They quickly shot back up, his ring finger dragging along his bottom lip.
"Rafeee you’re b-back!” Topper hiccupped, unsuccessfully reaching out to his friend. “This is Isabelle! She’s in my uh … f-fuck … oh! Stats class.”
Rafe didn’t say anything to his friend’s absurd introduction; he just stepped closer and wrapped his left arm around Topper to keep him steady. Once his friend regained some moderation of balance, Rafe reached out his free hand, his lips tightened in a straight line. “Nice to meet you, I’m Rafe.” His expression didn’t change after he recited a greeting, and, in that moment, I couldn’t be sure if he was doing me a favor or if he was too embarrassed to let anyone know he was already associated with me.
I took his hand, deciding to play along with the lie – however, before I could carry on the conversation, another person barreled towards us, slamming his body into the two boys in front of me; his arms now wrapped securely around them while he laughed. Topper drunkenly tumbled forwards from the force, his alcohol splashing outside of the cup and onto the white cover-up that clung tightly to my figure. I gasped at the unfortunate event that had just occurred, a moment of terror entering my brain as the thought of it staining came to fruition.
"S-shit – K- Kelce what the fuck!” Topper’s voice switched from firm to soft as he eyed the wet spot on my dress. “I’m so so uh so sorry.”
"It’s okay.” I began to back away from the red solo cup that Topper was now swinging around, my fingers peeling the dampness away from my skin to try and get the wet feeling off my stomach. I had no idea what to do – there was no magically placed washer on the beach that could help bring out the liquid. The only thing I did understand was not to let it marinate.
"I didn’t think you’d throw your damn cup like some kind of maniac, Topper.” Kelce said.
"Uh … L-Let me uh g-grab a towel!” Topper started to stumble upwards, prepared to find a cloth for me to utilize; instead, Rafe pulled him back.
"We don’t have any towels Topp.” His friend’s mouth gaped in disbelief, now tugging away from Rafe’s grip to move towards me. Topper yanked the end of his polo forward, the rough piece of fabric patting the spot near my bellybutton as if it would soak up the liquid. “Topper fucking stop.” Rafe pulled his friend away yet again before he spoke to Kelce. “Get him some damn water or something.”
The minute Kelce and Topper left, I spun on my heels. There was no need for me to stand there, no need for me to stare at Rafe like some clueless individual that awaited guidance. So, my body started to walk away, only Rafe’s voice just kept ringing out like some annoying alarm that wouldn’t stop sounding no matter how many times you hit mute.
I halted in my path, turning around to come face-to-face with Rafe. “Yes?” I queried; a sour tone entwined in my voice.
"I can take you home.”
Yes – please.
"Why would I want to go home?” I asked him.
Rafe hesitated for a second, unsure as to why that was even a question. “To wash that dress?”
“It’s fine.” I responded.
“I know that’s Sarah’s,” He continued on. “Are the Pogue’s here?”
I swiveled back around, attempting to walk away from the conversation he was wanting to get into. Rafe, however, seemed to miss that hint. He followed me around as I ventured forwards down the beach, intentionally forming ill statements about the one subject I cherished – my friends. It was becoming infuriating; the idea of punching him in the face on the brink of my mind the more he opened his mouth. All I wanted was to be far away from him, find any excuse to get him to leave me alone and go back to the bonfire party he was so set on attending. Then it hit me – the ocean. We were surrounded by water; I could just take my dress off and scrub at the beer.
"I can use the ocean!” My fingers dragged along the bottom hem of the cover-up, lifting the entirety of it over my head until I was left in only the swimsuit I had so dreaded wearing in front of others – except in this moment I didn’t care. I couldn’t. All that mattered was ensuring that Sarah’s dress wasn’t damaged because her ex-boyfriend decided to throw his drink onto me.
But frankly … the longer Rafe stood there, fiddling with his ring as he observed me get the dress wet, the more self-conscious I was. I peered up at the boy, attempting to observe the part of my body he was so fixated on. Only, it was my face, like he was trying to analyze every feature I had as I scrubbed my heart out. For some reason, I hated that even more. I opened my mouth to say something, tell him that I’m fine to be by myself – but JJ sauntering into eyeline caught my attention. He was walking towards both of us … and even from afar I could see the resentment in his eyes as Rafe stood there.

Embrace my heart - Part II
Emily Prentiss x Reader
Tumblr media
ᕚ---ᕘ
After a very quiet and nerve wrecking drive, you arrived near Arlington. In silence, you walked the last bit together into the big cemetery, where other FBI agents were already buried. Hotch, Rossi and Reid were already waiting for you, a sad smile changing their facial expressions as they saw your figure progressing from a distance.
You meandered together through the narrow paths between the graves until you arrived at the selected spot for her grave. Everything was prepared, Emily should be laid to rest right where you could always come and talk to her, ask her for advice when you needed her smart and genius mind on a new case. She would have loved the place between the almond trees that were in full bloom and you liked the idea that the trees would drop their bright pink blossoms annually for her, showing the vulnerability of life.
A hole about a square meter had been dug and a heavy old white chest was floating over it, around which you had all gathered in a small semi-circle in front of it. It was just a small community you invited to her funeral; only her team had lined up and a few colleagues with whom she maintained regular contact were there. Her closes friends and her family. You.
There was an awkward silence for a long moment before you walked around her coffin, tears already streaming down your cheeks, ruining your specially applied make-up so that you would not let the sleepless nights show. "You all know I am never really comfortable speaking in front of people," you said hesitantly, a small smile breaking your lips. In the painful minute you could still get a little giggle from everyone out. "But today, I will make an exception."
Your friends smiled at you encouragingly and you continued, JJ holding your hand and squeezing it gently to continue to show you that she was with you.
"We are here today to pay our respect to our beloved friend, partner and soon to be wife: Emily Prentiss," only trembling did these words fall out of your mouth. Swallowing hard, you tried to pull yourself together, gently stroking your fingers over her face and smile, which which shone bright and broad on her lips through a large black and white photograph in a silver frame. "Even though her body is not actually here, there is no doubt she will ever come back. I have to.. we all have to accept that"
You looked up into the faces of the people closest to her. Rossi looked older than ever, saddened by the death of his working daughter. Derek had his arm around Penelopes waist, whose eyes glittered between the blue eyeshadow. Reid´s gaze was distant and you guessed that his thoughts were with another sorely missed person. Hotch gave you a sad yet encouraging look while JJ also had tears in his eyes and kept them from dropping. It broke the blonde´s heart to hear you talk about her best friend and your fiancee like that when she knew the whole truth about Emilys death.
It was freezing cold due to the strong wind. But the little group at the cementry did not mind. For a brief moment, you figured that the cold front was actually Emily coming to visit an cheer you up. "We can not really bury Emily, but we can give her something that will remind us of her," you met your friends deep and dull eyes once again before pulling something out of your pocket and pointing it in front of you. "And whenever we return to this place, we will know what we left behind"
Everyone present looked intently at the little bundle that you were holding in your hand and carefully unwrapping it from the cloth. It was a snow globe. "Em," you began in a low voice. "You gave me this snow globe on our first Christmas together. You saw my collection and had one specially made for me. I want you to keep this snow globe as a token of the everlasting bond and love between you and me"
You leaned towards the pit and carefully lay it in. You crouched down on the ground for a moment, staring into it, lost in thought. Then you got up and immediately fell into JJ´s arms, who hugged you tightly. Nobody moved for a moment, but then Penelope stepped forward. "I will keep going," she whispered and you could tell right away that your words had taken their toll on her. "I was thinking about what I could give you, Agent Badass"
Like you, she addressed her words to the surroundings as if her friend was standing right next to her. The computer specialist also pulled somthing out of her handbag and held it in front of her. Softly giggling, she started to tell the story to her object. "It should be something to remind you of me and I think this broken mug right here will do the trick. You know it is my favorite mug. Remember when you picked the pieces out of the trash and glued it back together for me as best as you could?"
One by one they all stepped forward and placed something on the white coffin that reminded them of their friendship with Emily. You were very grateful to them for being with you today; you knew how hard it was to lose people you loved. Especially when it made you lose a piece of yourself.

Hotch x Male!reader - this thing I keep inside
Tumblr media
I was wondering if I could request criminal minds Aaron Hotchner x Male reader - the team go on a case where the the unsub is killing their victims the same way as you would the werewolf. Reader's been with the team for a few years he has secrets he wouldn't tell a soul, that what goes bump in the dark is real or the monster of dog that attacked him shouldn't exist and he should be dead! What would happen if the truth came out? - @xweirdo101x 💜
Sitting in the seat, staring out the window of the jet, you couldn’t focus on the rolling clouds, the noise of the turbulence or the fact people were talking.
You were lost inside of your very own head.
You turned your attention back to the file in front of you, you flicked it open and began to look through some of the crime scene photos.
“Someone’s deep in thought.” Derek chuckled.
You said nothing as you carried on looking at the file, certain words screaming out at you.
Single shot.
Bullet.
Close range.
Made of silver.
All of these things were screaming at you that you shouldn’t be in this case, that it wasn’t safe for the likes of you.
You were in grave danger.
But you said nothing.
“Is he alright?” JJ whispered.
Everyone looked towards one another then back at you as you went back to looking out of the window deep in thought.
“You know what he gets like when he’s thinking.” Rossi said.
“Yeah, he’s like Reid he goes quiet then blurts it all out.” Emily chuckled.
They all laughed at that and went back to what they were doing aside from Hotch, who walked over and sat opposite you.
“What’s on your mind (Y/N)?”
You turned your eyes towards Hotch and gave him a little smile.
“Nothing, just remember some things is all.”
He narrowed his eyes a little.
You were a man of many secrets, you had things even the team didn’t know about you and they all knew that.
It was near impossible for them to profile you, and they could never tell if you were telling the truth or not.
So Hotch studied you for a moment but he couldn’t decipher whether you were lying to him.
“You would tell us if it were anything?”
“Of course I would.”
All he could do was nod his head, and take the file from you, closing it to set it aside before he went looking at you.
Studying you.
He was trying to get a read on you but he couldn’t pick anything up.
So he got up, grabbing his things and came to sit with you again while he worked, neither of you saying anything.
As you landed, your first stop was the morgue, you wanted to speak to the M.E. who was conducting the autopsies on the victims.
So you dumped your stuff in your hotel room and made your way over there, giving everyone a brief idea of what you were doing before you left.
Pushing the door open, you immediately recognised the smell that hit your nose, and by the way the woman’s head shot up she did as well.
“I wasn’t aware the FBI hired the likes of us.” She said.
“They aren’t either, we don’t have much time. I’m Agent (L/N).”
“Luna, how long do we have?”
“Maybe half an hour before one of my time get here I need to know what you can tell me that they can’t know.”
Luna nodded her head and gestured for you to come over, and she turned the body over so you could see the man’s shoulder.
“All of them have a tattoo on their left shoulder blade, that was the first indication of what they were. Different ones though none the same as of yet. And they absolutely reek of mistletoe.”
“So they were poisoned?” You asked.
“No, just drenched in it. It burn but unless ingested it can’t kill us.”
You slowly nodded your head.
Then she turned the body back over and showed you the chest, which had a bullet wound in, and dark veins around it.
“It wasn’t close distance though, I’d say maybe a few feed away. The veins are just from where the silver entered the system but they die before it can travel.”
“Right. So it’s definitely a hunter then.”
“There’s no doubt about it, if I’m being honest I’d say given these styles of killings their looking for information.”
You two carried on talking quietly, and you both looked up when the door opened.
“Hotch.”
“What did you find?”
“I’ll let Luna tell you herself.”
He nodded and you walked over to join him, and he began asking some questions and Luna gave him different answers but still what he needed to know.
Every so often you would glance at the man next to you, making sure he was buying the slightly twisted truth which he was.
When he was done you both left and you walked over to the SUV, leaning against the drivers door.
“If there’s a new body every few days, I suppose it’s a safe bet to say another will turn up by tomorrow.” You said.
“We only less than 24 hours to find our missing man, and hardly any leads to go on.”
Hotch gestured for you to go around so you got into the passenger side and furrowed your brows.
You wanted to save this one, you didn’t want to lose anyone else if you could help it.
So you were connecting all the information you had inside your head as you walked into the police department and to the room you were using.
Sitting down, you grabbed the laptop and began searching for things.
“What you found?” Rossi asked.
Everyone looked over at you.
“Well the M.E. mentioned mistletoe. Unless you grow it on your own, it wouldn’t be found in the quantities that was found on the bodies.” You explained.
“I can have Garica help you narrow that list.” Derek said.
You nodded and pushed the laptop over to him and stood up to stare at the bored.
“It could narrow our search but it doesn’t help us with a profile, we still have no idea what kind of person we’re looking for.” Emily said.
You nodded your head and you looked over to Hotch as he began to leave.
“I’m going to speak to the Thomas’ family.”
“I’ll come with you.”
He nodded his head and you joined him.
You spoke about the case on the way over, and you carefully studied the area as you two walked up towards the door.
The family were hesitant on letting Hotch in, but as they looked at you they finally agreed to speak to you both.
Hotch asked the questions and you looked around the home.
“Im sorry sir, could you help me move this box please?” The woman asked.
“Of course I can ma’am.”
She said waited for you to follow her through to the other room and she gestured for you to pick up a box which was empty.
“You’re looking for the hunter?” She asked you.
“We are. Can you tell us anything to help?”
“I can tell you a new man moved into town just before all this started. My husband will tell your friend the same thing.”
“Have you met him?”
“Not formally. But I’ve seen him, he lurks around the nightclub, it’s in the old wear house district. It’s for our kind so we all noticed a strange human hanging around.”
“Is there any working cameras do you know? Would it be safe to ask my friend back at HQ to look at the footage without anything being shown?”
“Absolutely, we’re carefully jot to show ourselves until we get past that final camera. I want you to catch this bastard.” She snarled.
You looked at her and she turned her head towards the ground.
“I’m sorry, I just… I’m so angry.. we all are…”
“I understand, and I will do what I can. Even if I have to come back on my own.”
She snapped her head towards you.
“You’d do that?”
“If it means protecting my own, then yes.”
She nodded her head and studied you.
“You don’t want to be this do you?”
“I never asked for it, but I know the fear we all face because of people like this.”
You went quiet as Hotch walked in and you placed the box on the other end of the room.
“There’s a camera outside the club we all go to.” The woman said to him.
“Thank you for your time. (L/N).”
You followed him and he stopped you just outside the car.
“What were you talking about?”
“She was tell me about her son, he was a good person Hotch. They all were.”
“That’s why we need to stop this unsub as soon as possible.”
You nodded in agreement and turned around, but stopped and walked across the road to the lamppost.
Attached it it was a photo of you circled in red pen, then words monster scrawled all over it and you looked around with narrowed eyes.
“I don’t think it’ll be that hard…” you spoke lowly.
You handed it over to Hotch and looked at him, your eyes locking with his.
“Get in the car, now.” He said sternly.
Hotch all but pushed you in the car and raced you back to the station where you were dragged to the middle of the room and everyone called over.
Hotch let them all know you were now a target and you weren’t to leave the building or be unattended at any given point.
And you weren’t, a few hours went by and while everyone else came and went you were stuck inside, Hotch glued to your side.
“I’ll be fine.”
“You have an unsub targeting you, that isn’t my definition of fine.” He said.
You sighed a little bit and took him to a quiet hallway and looked around before turning your attention towards him.
“Aaron, I will be fine. Okay? Just focus on catching this bastard.”
“The others have that covered, it’s my job to look after you.”
You sighed and placed your hand on the back of his head, pulling him down and gently pressing your lips to his forehead before you let go.
“I’m stronger than I look Aaron, I promise.”
“That won’t stop me from worrying (Y/N), not until we know you’re safe for good. So, I’m staying right here by your side.”
“Alright.”
You knew once he put his mind to something you couldn’t stop him from doing whatever it was he wanted to do.
So the pair of you walked back to the room just as an officer came through.
“There’s a phone call for the FBI agents.” She said.
“Put us through.” Hotch said.
You, Hotch, the chief of police, Rossi and Reid all crowded around the small phone to listen.
“You’re on with Agent Hotchner, who am I speaking to?” Hotch asked.
“I want the monster you are hiding in that station.”
They all looked confused and you sat down on the chair.
“Alright, you want me, I’m here. What do you want from me?” You asked.
“I have something you want.”
“You mean Jonas?”
There was a cruel laugh.
“No, although I do have Jonas. He isn’t looking too good though, but I suppose you lot don’t when you make them sit in mistletoe. But that’s not what I have that you want agent (L/N).”
“What is it that I want?”
“The person who created you.”
Your blood ran cold and you felt everybody turn their eyes towards you.
“You know you can break the curse. But you need the one who turned you. I know who did this.”
You clenched your jaw a little bit.
“What do you get in return?” You asked.
Hotch tapped your shoulder and you held your hand up towards him.
“I let Jonas go, I get you.”
“Absolutely not.” Hotch said.
“Do we have a deal agent (L/N).”
You listened carefully to the phone call as it went silent.
“No.”
You hung up and you looked up at Hotch who nodded his head and gestured to the laptop where Garcia was working.
“We’re talking about whatever your hiding after this case.” Hotch snapped.
You knew it was a ploy, the man wouldn’t be there when the team got there, but it gave you time.
So you waited, and when it was safe you excused yourself to the bathroom and went through the back entrance to the station.
Jogging down the street, you followed the strong scent of mistletoe.
The unsub had been here, leaving this for you.
And it took you far out of the town, but you finally got there and kicked the door with your boot.
“Smart, you know it’s covered.”
The man opened the door and he aimed a gun at you, forcing you down into the basement and into the mistletoe that burned your skin.
“I wanted you.” He smirked.
He gestured to a camera that had a red flashing light, and you snarled a little as your skin burned.
He slammed the cell door shut and you stood there, breathing heavily.
“Jonas wasn’t a werewolf, he was just a fellow hunter helping me find you. And this is being broadcasted to all your little friends.” He mocked.
“Why do you want me?” You growled.
He smirked a little bit, and tossed something in there with you making you jump back as it rolled towards your feet.
Wolfsbane.
You looked back up, yellow eyes boring into his, completely ignoring the camera.
“Because with a werewolf as clever as you, I can lure all of them to me.”
“It won’t work.”
“Oh believe me it will, you just need a little extra push. How about I kill your friends too?”
You rushed forward, slamming your body against the bars, growling deeply, echoing of the walls.
The team watched in horror as they stared at what was once you, but now someone they didn’t recognise as the yellowish eyes shone through the camera.
“I swear to god if you hurt them I wear tear you limb from limb…” you whispered lowly.
“I’ll leave him for last. That one you’re so fond of, I wonder how he’s searching right now to seeing this monster he calls a boyfriend.”
You growled even louder, and slammed your hands on the bars, and you began to pace back and forth, ignoring the burning of the skin.
The man watched you for a moment.
“There is a cure you know. You kill the original werewolf who did this to you, and you’ll turn back to a normal human.” He mused.
You flicked your eyes to him.
“You help me, I’ll help you.”
“I’ll take that Damn heart out your chest…”
You crouched down and your bones cracked and broke, changing, and the team struggled to watch what was going on.
“Oh my god…” Garcia whispered.
You now stood tall, taller than you were, covered in black fur, yellow eyes beaming down as you snarled and growl, lunging for the bars only to stumble back when you were shot in the shoulder.
“Consider it a warning shot beast.” The unsub snarled.
You let out a roar that shook the camera and it fell down towards the ground and you back up into the corner on the room, scraping your claws into the ground.
Now they had two unsubs to find, and someone they thought they could trust who was now a large murderous monster waiting to attack.
Did they save you?
Did they leave you?
No one knew.
But they knew they needed to stop the unsubs before anyone else got hurt.
Hotch kept his eyes glued to you though, watching as the smoke rose from your burning skin as you touched the mistletoe.
The way you dug your claws into the ground again and again.
“We know where that is!” An officer shouted.
Everyone looked at him and they shared a look.
They were about to come face to face with something from their nightmares, and they didn’t know how to confront this sort of situation

avoiding
Tumblr media
summary: jj had been avoiding you for a couple of days now and you can’t figure out why.
warnings: none really
authors note; i just wanted to say that i apologize in advance if the writing sucks im not that good tbh but yeah
—————————————————
You know JJ very well and for him to go 3 days without speaking to you must mean that something is wrong and you were desperate to get this solved. You have an idea on what may be the issue, the other night JJ had crashed at your place after he had gotten into a fight with Topper and his friends and things got a little heated. Not too heated if you catch the drift.
You had gone to John B’s house to look for JJ and luckily you found him, “Hey guys, uhm JJ can I talk to you?” You asked nervously rubbing your hands together. “I got to go John B, I will catch up with you later.” JJ said walking away towards the boat. “What’d you do?” Pope asks, “I don’t even know, that’s what I’m trying to figure out” You spoke as you walked towards JJ. “JJ wait!” You yelled, increasing your speed. JJ kept walking away, “What the hell is wrong with you?” You say as you grab his shoulder making him face you. “Nothing is wrong.” He says as he sat down, “JJ I know you, you’re lying. Just tell me what’s going on, was it me? Did I do something?” You ask.
“It’s just- the other night.” JJ says looking down, fidgeting with something in his hand. “Yeah? What about it?” You spoke, “When people get close to me I try to distance myself away from them, I don’t really know how to explain it so I hope you understand what i’m trying to say.” JJ replied. “Yeah I understand.” You said looking down, JJ starts to get up before you ask, “Jayj?” he replies, “Yeah?” “Can I ask you a question?” You question. “Of course what’s up?” He said in response.
“Do you regret it?” You query. “Regret what?” He says. “You know what.” You answer. “The kiss? Hell no I don’t regret it, why would you think that?” He responded with a chuckle. “Because J, you’ve just been ignoring me ever since and I know you said you push people away when they get close to you but I don’t know I guess I thought I did something wrong, you know? I thought you regretted that whole night.” You stand up as he walks over to you, resting his hands on your shoulders. “I’d do it all over again y/n.” JJ says, looking into your eyes.
You smile, you start to walk away but turn around to say one last thing before leaving. “I love you JJ.” You deadpan, “W-What?” He says, mind blown. “Did I stutter? I love you, i’m in love with you J.” He comes closer, “But why? You know the rule, no pouge on pouge macking.” He says, “Since when does JJ Maybank care about rules?” You question letting out a small laugh. “You’re right.” He smirks, slowly leaning in closer and closer and eventually, the two of you make contact. “Told you. Now where’s my money at Kie?” Pope whispers. “Whatever.” Kiara says, rolling her eyes.

Swap Across the CrystalVerse Chapter 8: PW Timeline

It's an awkward drive to Marvin's house, as Chase and Jackie are still silently digesting the idea of alternate universes, but thankfully, it's a short one. Chase soon pulls to the side of the road in front of an average-looking one-story blue suburban house. "Here we are," he says. "Alright. Out we go."
Marvin is looking out his front window when they arrive. "Hey Alt? Are those your friends getting out of the car? I mean, I hope they are. If Chase and Jackie ended up picking up strangers it'd be fucking weird."
Alt almost glitches over to the window but restrains himself and peeks through it. He relaxes as he sees Bro and Jackie getting out of the car. "Y-Yeah that's them! Thank god..."
"Nice." Marvin walks over to the front door. "JJ, keep the cats distracted."
Marvin doesn't need to tell him twice, as he's already busy dangling a cat toy on a string for Luna to play with. Ragamuffin sits in the chair nearby pretending to not be interested, but his eyes are following the toy.
"Great," Marvin says, and opens the door. "Hey!"
"Hey!" Chase waves. "Fucking crazy, right?!"
"Fucking wild!" Marvin keeps the door open long enough for everyone to come inside and then quickly closes it.
Bro waves once inside, "Yo! How's it going?"
"Thanks for letting us come over, makes this all easier-" Jackieboy says with a timid smile.
"No problem," Marvin says. "Well... I don't usually like people coming over, but when the fuck am I gonna have the chance to talk to people from a parallel universe? This is probably, like, a one in a million years chance.  "Also, hey Jackie! Good to be out of the hospital?"
"Oh god yes," Jackie says. "I was losing my mind in there. But I'm all good now!" He notices Alt, then. And he just... stares at him.
Alt blinks at Jackie's reaction and then finds himself glitching a bit around his shoulders. He hunches in his hoodie and then sheepishly waves. "Uh... hi? I'm Alt."
Jackie jumps a little at the glitching. Then he suddenly laughs. "Wow, you don't look anything like Anti. Hi, I'm Jackie." He smiles and holds his hand out for a handshake.
Alt brightens quickly and grins, going to shake Jackie’s hand. Jackie can feel a bit of a buzz underneath Alt’s skin when they shake hands- like touching a recently on LCD TV. “thank god for that…”
"Uh, I dunno if that comes across how you mean it to," Chase mutters.
"Oh, uh..." Jackie’s hand wavers for a second. "I just mean that you're clearly not a bad guy. Does that make sense?"
Alt laughs lightly, “no I got it. That actually… means a lot. Thanks.”
"No problem." Jackie looks at his hand after they're done shaking. "Wow. You're... buzzing? That's weird. That's so weird."
Alt flushes slightly and quickly puts his hands back in his pockets. “Uh… y-yeah I’m… k-kinda electric. Sorry I-it’s weird-“
He's very nice, JJ says from where he's sitting on the sofa. He looks at Bro and Jackieboy. He whistles You really do look just like Chase and Jackie.
"I'm flattered that you think I'm as buff as this guy," Chase says.
Bro laughs, “It’s probably more in the face. I guess!”
Jackieboy grins, “We’d look even more alike if I remembered my glasses.”
“Dr. j is gonna scold you so hard for forgetting again.” Bro snickers.
Jackie rolls his eyes.
Marvin blinks. "Dr. J...?" He looks at JJ. "That... wouldn't happen to be... an alternate version of you, would it?"
I can't imagine being a doctor, JJ says, frowning. Too much pressure. I always wanted to be an actor, actually, but stuff happens.
"Oh, grand, maybe I can put in a good word for you at the theatre," Marvin says excitedly.
“Oh yeah! Dr. J’s our JJ!” Bro grins.
“Henrik’s our actor,” Jackie smiles. “He’s very good too- despite being deaf.”
Chase's eyes widen. "Wait wait wait. You have a Henrik, too?"
JJ blinks. And he's deaf?
Jackie nods, “Yeah! There’s… a reason for that but that might be a bit much to get into.” He smiles nervously.
JJ nods. I understand. I'm similar. Not deaf, but still. The sign language probably gives away some stuff.
“Where’s your Henrik?” Bro asks with a head tilt. “I don’t think I heard you all mention him yet.”
Chase coughs. "Bit of a sensitive subject. He's... in a hospital called Silver Hills. It's, a, um... special hospital..."
"It's a psych ward," Marvin says bluntly.
"Marvin!" Chase gasps.
"What? You were getting nowhere tiptoeing around it! And everyone in the city knows Schneep's there, these guys might as well know, too."
"It's not even a psych ward," Jackie mutters. "That's a department attached to a main hospital. Silver Hills is an... institution all its own."
The swaps eyes all widen slowly.
“…oh…” Bro says quietly. “Is he… okay?”
“…sometimes going to a place like that is a good thing?” Jackie adds.
Alt holds his arms, looking uncomfortable.
"He's, um... getting better," Chase says slowly. "H-he's had some problems for a while, but, uh... a year ago—two years ago now, actually—"
"Seventeen months," Jackie corrected quietly.
"—things got... a bit worse, a-a-and then he got..." Chase is noticably not looking at Alt. "...he disappeared... for a while... People thought he was killing people, b-but he wasn't. When they found him again he was... really out of it. A-and a whole bunch of stuff has happened since then that hasn't... helped with that."
"But it's getting better," Marvin adds firmly. "I'm sure everything will be alright soon. The police just have to do their job." He huffs a little. "Competently, ideally."
“Oh man…” Bro whispers. “I’m… so sorry.”
"Thanks, other me," Chase says. Then laughs. "God, the absurdity of saying that really does undermine the moment for me."
“At least he’s getting better!” Jackie tries to add cheerfully.
"Yeah, he's getting much better," Jackie agrees. "It's great to see, actually." He smiles a little.
Alt, of course, noticed that Chase isnt looking at him. He grips his arms tighter and squeezes his eyes shut, trying to not let this random guilt eat him alive. He didn’t hurt this world’s Schneep- he wouldn’t. So why does it still feel like this…?
JJ notices Alt's expression. He walks over and taps his arm, gently getting his attention. It's not your fault, he says. Aneirin is his own person who makes his own choices. Just because you are related to him does not make you the same. And it does not make you responsible for what he does. There's a fierce light in his eyes as he signs this.
Alt slightly glitches anyway, even if JJ is gentle. He watches his signs and feels his vision get a bit fuzzy as he wipes at his face. "...thanks... It's just hard seeing... so many versions of you do horrible things... universe after universe." He grips at his jacket over his heart and takes a shaky breath, "...but I'm trying to remember... I'm not him. I just... can't help... feeling bad. It's like hearing your twin did a killing spree and now you.. have to live with looking like him. Seeing the... fear in people's eyes." He shakes his head, "S-Sorry... that's probably too much... I..."
JJ smiles gently. No, it's fine. I know exactly what you mean. That's literally what happened to me. I mean, Aneirin is older than me, not my twin, but still. The first time I met Schneep, he thought I was him. But I'm not. And you're not, either.
Alt returns JJ's small smile after a beat. He nods, "... yeah... Thank you JJ... that must be... really hard."
"Oh shit!" Marvin suddenly shouts. He looks around. "Sorry. I just realized. Don't you guys pop up near, uh, parallels of people you know? That's what you said, right? Does, uh, does Schneep count in that list?"
Alt startles slightly and glitches, looking over at Marvin. Bro and Jackie look at each other.
"...uh yeah? Probably-" Jackie says slowly.
Bro goes pale, "...Mag-"
Alt's eyes widen.
"YeahexactlythatswhatIwasworriedabout," Marvin says, voice squeaking.
"What, uh, what sort of stuff does your 'Magnificent' guy do?" Chase asks nervously. "H-how worried should we be?"
"Very worried-" Alt says quickly. "He... He does mind games, hypnotism- he might try to-!"
"Fuckkk that is not something good you should do to a psych ward patient!" Jackie squeaks.
"Jesus fucking christ!" Jackie goes pale. "Yeah, no, other me is right, S-Schneep's not good with that sort of stuff." He shivers at the memories that come to mind. "A-and that's--that's without all the weird magic bullshit you guys have."
Bro starts to race to the door.
"Whoa, hey, Chase!" Marvin shouts. "Other Chase! Do you know where you're even going?!"
"No! But we should hurry! I could fly there and-"
Jackie quickly grabs Bro and pulls him back , "You can't go flying here, Chase! You'll cause a panic!"
"I-I mean, go ahead and fly there if you want to be all over the news!" Marvin stammers. "But I don't think Chase wants to deal with the fallout of that, considering you two look so much alike."
"Oh yeah, no, I don't even want to think about the drama that'd happen from that," Chase says. "I'm a, uh, semi-public figure."
Bro pauses then nods, "Yeah I... I wouldn't want to do that to you... Okay."
Chase, do you think we can all fit in your car? JJ asks.
"Uh--if you all squeeze in, probably. It won't be legal, but fuck it."
Alt then suddenly glitches as his phone starts to ring. He blinks and then looks down at it with surprise.
Jackie and Bro give him a wary glance.
When Alt checks the number- it's just static. He almost feels- drawn to it for a second before he shudders and tosses the phone to Bro. He nods. "...You know who it is."
Bro nods gravelly and answers the call. It's a video call- of course and soon Mag's face appears. He frowns when he sees who's answering it. "Fantastic. Where is my cub?"
"Not here, Mag, so just-"
"Don't~ lie to me hero~! That's not in your moral handbook now, is it?" The mad magician cackles.
As soon as the guys hear Magnificent's voice, they all cluster around Bro, trying to get a look at the screen. "What the fuck?!" Marvin gasps. "What's wrong with your fucking eyes?"
"You have Schneep, don't you?" Bro spits.
Mag gets very quiet at the other end before he sighs dramatically, "Why must you always ruin my fun, Brody?"
"Fuck your fun!" Jackie bites at the camera.
"Oh yes- you're here too." Mag drawls with a bored eye roll.
"Where's Schneep, you motherfucker?!" Jackie demands, pushing his other self aside.
JJ studies the screen, trying to figure out what details he can gain from the background. A warehouse? he says, glancing at the others.
"Yeah that's like- one of his m-o's" Jackie mutters.
"Oh hello, new kittens! Are you worried about your poor doctor? Well don't worry~ He's right here." He shifts the camera to show he's gripping up Schneep by his hair as he dangles entranced between his claws.
Jackie cries out, all his bravado instantly disappearing. "No! Schneep, no!" he screams. "H-hang on! Okay?!" He starts reaching for the phone but Chase pulls him back, knowing that there's nothing grabbing the phone will do.
"What do you want?" Marvin asks. "People like you always want something."
JJ steps out of sight of the camera. There's only one place in the city that has warehouses, he says. We can find him if he won't tell us where he is.
Jackie nods to JJ and Alt seems to pick this up as well- even if he stays away from the screen.
Bro's eyes glow with anger as he yells out, "What the fuck, Mag! The people here have no magic! Nothing! Why are you doing this?"
"Because there’s nothing here, hero! So- I want to leave and I need you goody-two-shoes not to get too chummy with your other selves so my cub can come here and take us somewhere better already!" Magnificent giggles. "As fun as it is to see this one so docile and helpless... there's not much here. It wouldn’t even be fun to kill my other self… way too easy. So- Alt, I know you're listening~ You should hurry on down here quickly... before I get bored of this snack of mine."
Alt pales and curls his hands into fists at his side, shaking slightly.
"Or you know what? This world's Jackie's screams were so delightful just now~! Why don't I get this started early and-"
Alt yells and glitches to be in front of the phone, grabbing it from Bro, "Magnificent let him go or I swear I'll-!"
But, Alt only sees Mag's smug face on the screen for a spilt second before the phone fills with spiralling magic. And Alt is caught right away. His angry expression falls scarily blank as the magic fills his eyes.
"That's it, kitten. Come here."
Alt's shoulders buzz with glitches and his hands start to turn to pixels, sinking into the phone- "NO!" Bro yells and tackles Alt to the ground, making the phone go flying.
The guys from this world all reel back, stunned by what's happening. Chase scoops up the phone, covering the screen with his hand. "Y-you bastard!" he shouts, glaring at the camera. "I-I don't know anything about your magic shit but I know a dirty trick when I see one!"
JJ crouches by Alt, shaking him, trying to snap him out of whatever this is.
"You're gonna get what's fucking coming to you!" Marvin shouts.
Alt is weakly trying to fight Bro off him, trying to break into pixels but Bro keeps grabbing him before he can start to glitch. The static is so loud.
Magnificent laughs loudly from the phone. “You’re only making this harder for Henrik, kittens! Come now, let’s not delay this hm?”
“S-Shut off the phone!” Bro tries to shout, “Break it if you have to!”
Chase nods. He tries turning off the phone but it won't just shut off with the power button so he slams it against the wall until the screen goes black. He stands there, breathing heavily. There's a crack across the screen but it seems intact otherwise.
Mag’s laughter and the accompanying static cuts off and the room falls quiet.
For a scary beat, Alt stares out with another blank expression. But then the magic stutters out and he quietly gasps before breathing heavily, looking around in panic.
Bro slumps and sighs in relief.
“God…” Jackie kneels down by Alt and pats his shoulder. “You okay?”
“Y-Yeah… yeah I… fuck-“ Alt breathes.
JJ sighs once Alt comes back to himself. Take deep breaths. In for four, hold for seven, out for eight.
Alt nods dazedly and follows JJ’s encouragement to breathe. His heart starts to calm down.
Marvin stares at the phone in Chase's hand. "Well. That whole thing was uh..." He hisses. "...bad."
Jackie laughs. "Understatement of the year. We have to go get him!"
Chase nods. "Um... Alt?" He holds the phone out to him. "S-sorry."
Alt looks up at Chase and his phone and then he smiles had shakes his head. “No it’s… it’s okay. You helped me- mag would have…he was g-going to-“
“That motherfucker was gonna strand us here in this universe and just take you!” Jackie yells, throwing up his arms. “God he’s such a slimy bastard!!”
Bro gets up and helps Alt up too, “…I guess we gotta drive to the warehouse district now… we gotta help Schneep.”
"Let's not waste any time then!" Jackie snaps.
"No, let's waste some time so we can find stuff to beat that motherfucker to death with," Marvin says.
"Not literally, right?" Chase says.
"Course not."
"Okay, in that case I have a tool kit in the trunk of my car, there's definitely a hammer, a wrench, and a tire iron in there."
Are knives fair game? JJ asks. Can we use the knives from your kitchen, Marvin?
"Hell yeah. Normally I'd be upset with people using my stuff for what it's not supposed to be for, but this is a special case."
"JJ, you sit in the front and give Chase directions," Jackie says. "The rest of us gotta figure out places to fit."
The swaps all look to each other and nod. “We have to be careful though…” Alt says quietly, “Mag isn’t above trying to kill someone if he doesn’t get his way.”
“Well… we’ve faced the threat of death before,” Jackie says. “Unfortunately. So we can deal with that.”
“Who knows… maybe this’ll be over fast,” Bro shrugs, “Seems like he just wants out of here.”
“Let’s just focus on getting to Schneep fast- being controlled like that is not easy on the mind…” Jackie mumbles.
Alt perks up, “Oh- to fit and so… mag can’t get to me right away, I could hide in one of our phones. S’not the most pleasant but probably better than being squished in a car…”
“You can hide in… okay sure, guess this might as well happen,” Marvin says. “This day is already so god damn weird.”
Alt looks almost embarrassed as he hunches in his hoodie.
“Ha- John Malaney nice.” Jackie snickers.
“You can use mine, Alt,” Chase says. “Since I’ll be driving I won’t need to look at it. The other four of you can probably fit in the back seat.”
JJ had briefly disappeared down the hallway and now returns with a pair of chef’s knives from the kitchen, which he shoves in his bag.
Bro watches JJ and hums under his breath, “It’s always the JJs with a knife- maybe we need to teach Dr. j that…”
Ready to go when you guys are.
“Great,” Chase nods. “To the car, everyone. On the way there, tell us everything you know about this guy so we can prepare.”
Alt nods, “We’ll catch you up.”
————
In the warehouse, Magnificent yells in frustration as he loses contact with the others and almost throws his phone but thinks better of it. He sighs dramatically then hangs on the stack of boxes he’s sitting on. “Godddss! It’s so dull here!” He whines. He eyes Schneep and hums in thought then slinks towards him. “Say, Henrik- I saw a most peculiar figure in that head of yours… the man with the dual colored eyes. Why don’t you tell me about him, hm?”
Schneep shudders. He doesn’t want to talk about him, but the hypnotism makes him do it anyway. “A-An… ti,” he whispers. “H-he tricks me, lied to me, pr-pretending to be more powerful than he is. F-forced me to take the blame for him hurting people. Or making me do it. J-Jackie… Jackie was… I-I didn’t want him to hurt Jackie. Or that other man, Jameson. How cruel is it, to hurt your own brother…? Th-they say Anti is gone now, i-is that true? Sometimes I do not remember…”
Magnificent hums in slight interest, “Really? Huh… so my cub is also not extraordinary here… just a delusional killer. Pity.” Mag shrugs, “I don’t know anything about your Anti. Cruelty is often a useful tool against the weak. At least he seems to use that well.” Mag sighs dramatically again. “Maybe I’ll just start taking life forces from sure boredom…”
"Not... extraordinary? S-so many people have died, that is u-unusual." Schneep pauses. "But not like you..."
Magnificent makes a flippant gesture with his hand, “Death means nothing. Human lives are just collateral. Power is the thing that matters most. But, I’m sure I’ve taken more lives than a lowly human has- if we must measure by lives.”
Schneep blinks. "Really? I... only know of the thirteen th-that he made me help with. But I know there were many more. S-Since he was very young." Fear flicker in his eyes. "He told me once he killed Marvin. That was a lie, but Marvin says he did try..."
“Hm- amusing.” Magnificent chuckles, “I’ve lost count. Could be more than that… could be less. Not that many of them mattered. They just got in my way.” He laughs, “The humans at least. Magicians I spare… in a sense, at least.” He eyes Schneep and hums, “I wonder if it would be worth it to kill you- or your friends. Maybe it’ll spare you all this pitiful existence.”
Schneep's eyes flicker, the magic hesitating. "I-I like my existence, I don't want to--please don't--"
Magnificent laughs, and with a quick flick of his finger, magic catches the front of Henrik’s shirt and pulls him closer. “Oh… it is always fun to hear you things beg.” He giggles madly. “But, tell me, Schneeplestein…. What is it that makes you want to continue, hm? You’ll been ostracized, villainized for something you didn’t do. Institutionalized. Deemed crazy. Sure, you might get out soon, but your mind is forever sullied. Is that worth it all?” Magnificent hums with false sympathy.
Schneep breathes heavily. "I-it is not just for me. I don't live just for me. I have friends--and more to do. More to give. I-I don't care what the world thinks, if I know the ones I care about are safe, I-I cannot leave them. If I have hurt them, I must make up for it. I can make a new life. I can make a new life."
Magnificent growls and pushes Schneep away. “Blargh. You’re as bad as my own annoyances. Such human attachments. Disgusting.”
Schneep stumbles backwards and falls to the floor. "Human... attachments? You are not... human?" He shivers. This is all too much. He can't handle this. His mind drifts off and he goes silent.
Magnificent laughs, his burning green eye lingering in Schneep's mind as he drifts.
"Oh no child, I am so much more~"
-----------
"All these warehouses look the same," Chase mutters.
There are about six of them, and he drives down the road dividing them into two rows. "How are we supposed to know which one he's in? Not like this evil fucking magic guy has a car."
"I don't know, do you guys have magic shit to help find him?" Marvin is understandably stressed out by this whole thing. Not only is their friend in danger, but four grown men sitting in the back seat of a car is very crowded, and he doesn't like being close to people.
"Mmm we might...? Honestly we kinda just- stumble into him usually." Jackie mumbles.
"Or I fly around to look for signs of him. Like- green glowy shit-" Bro comments.
Alt is lurking in Chase's phone, the screen buzzing with green and blue glitches as he listens. He tries to feel out for Mag's presence- "Maybe... nearer to the edge." He voices calls out, like he's on the other end of a phone call.
"Alright, got it," Chase says. "Near the edge. Hang on." He pushes the gas down, speeding up. "We'll start there. Other me can look around for stuff. I don't think people come out here that much so flying probably wouldn't attract that much attention."
Soon, the car pulls to a stop and Chase parks it so everyone can get out.
"You said you had a tool box in your trunk?" Jackie asks.
"Yeah, go crazy."
"Ah- I hope someone gets Mag right in the face." Jackie laughs.
Bro chuckles and hurries out of the car, hopping into the air to look around. He seems almost relieved to be back in the air.
Alt buzzes anxiously and then glitches out of Chase's phone, his shoulders hunched as he tenses up in anticipation for danger. Where could Mag be...?
The others all pile out of the car, too.
Does anyone want the second knife? JJ asks.
"I'll take it," Marvin says, and JJ hands it over.
Jackie opens the trunk of Chase's car. "What in here has the most reach?" he mutters, rummaging through the stuff. "Aha!" He grabs the tire iron.
Chase joins him, taking a hammer from the box. "I wish Anti didn't take my gun," he mutters.
"We still need to talk about how the fuck you got that into the country," Marvin calls. "Uhhh anyway let's start looking around."
Alt starts to look around, keeping himself quiet as he prowls forward. Soon enough he shivers and hears static brimming in the air. He points towards the second to last warehouse. “…there. He’s in there-“
Jackieboy whistles for Bro who comes down to join them. He looks at the others and narrows his eyes in determination. “Alright- we out number him but let’s focus on getting Schneep out of there.” He braces himself in front of the door. “Ready?”
The others all quickly gather around.
 "Ready," Chase says.
"Beyond ready," Jackie adds.
"Let's kick his ass and get Schneep," Marvin says.
JJ just grips his knife tight and nods.
Bro nods and then goes to burst open the door.
Magnificent quickly grabs Schneep from wherever he was before and goes to grip him by his hair. “Ah! The Calvary arrives~!”
Jackie and Marvin are the first guys from this world to run in.
"Schneep!" Jackie gasps. "I-it's going to be okay! It's going to be okay!"
Schneep's eyes flicker a little. "Ja...ckie?" he croaks out.
"Let him go you bastard!" Marvin shouts. Chase and JJ run up behind him. "I don't care what fucking magic you have, we'll take you out!"
"Whoa, h-hey, don't be hasty, Marvin," Chase says hurriedly. "Just, um... just please put Schneep down, uh, Magnificent..."
Magnificent looks bored as he sees the others file in. He throws Schneep at their feet with a huff of indifference. "I'm not even threatened by your pathetic bravado. Worst universe yet. Is my cub here? I want to leave."
Bro growls and steps forward with burning blue eyes, "Stop calling him that! He's not just some tool you can boss around!"
"Yeah and who died here to make you king, Mag, ya pompous asshole." Jackie snarls.
Alt sees Schneep thrown and quickly glitches over to help him up- and get him away from Magnificent and towards the others. "H-Here- you're okay..."
The guys are not expecting Magnificent to just hand Schneep over, but they're all relieved. "Schneep, over here," Jackie says, reaching out for him.
"J-Jackie...?" Schneep whispers. He blinks. "Chase? Marvin?" His eyes land on JJ and he stiffens slightly. "A-An--" JJ quickly moves out of sight.
"No no, Anti's not here," Chase says quickly. "He's not even in the city. You're fine. This is fine."
Jackie hugs Schneep tightly, glaring at Magnificent. "Yeah, we want you to leave, too," Marvin mutters. "Hurry up and get out of here."
Alt moves back quickly, letting Schneep's friends help him. Then, a hand reaches out and grabs him and he yells out, squirming in Mag's grip. "There you are, kitten! Trying to hide from me~?"
"Hey! Let him go!" Marvin shouts as Mag grabs Alt.
Alt growls and tries to glitch out of Mag's grip but he digs his claws into his skin slightly, canceling them out with his own magical current. Alt shouts in pain and then slumps though he glares at Mag.
Magnificent giggles and brings in Alt close. "Why are you fighting me so hard here, Alt? Can't you see someone like you isn't wanted here? You're only haunting these poor pathetic humans~"
"No-! I...!" Alt tries to argue but quickly deflates. He looks at the crew that's surrounding Schneep and feels his heart clench slightly. The past couple worlds... they all started to feel like friends when they leave. But here... they're all too different, aren't they? He's never felt so detached from people who share the faces of his friends.
"Oh you shut the fuck up," Jackie hisses at Magnificent. "Your fucking bullshit word games and your fucking bullshit power plays. There are people like you everywhere, you're not special because you're magic. All that magic does is give you a chance to act out your worst desires."
"You... i-if you guys want to leave... we won't stop you," Chase says slowly. "But... don't let him get to you, Alt. You're not 'haunting' us, or whatever."
"And we're not pathetic," Marvin adds.
JJ sighs. He rubs his eyes, looking tired. It's clear this man isn't worth our time, or yours. Don't indulge him.
"Yeah Mag! Just because they're human, doesn't mean they're worthless! You are not better than any of us cuz you sold your fucking soul to black magic! You're just a sad lonely loser who uses his power to bully people! Just so you have something to fill that empty void in your chest where your heart used to be!" Jackieboy shouts, and then breathes heavily afterwards.
Bro looks at him with wide eyes. "... that was brewing for a while, wasn't it?"
"Sooo fucking long."
Magnificent growls, looking ready to blast Jackie for daring to speak like that to him but Alt grabs his arm and bites him, making the mad magician scream and let him go.
Alt glitches away and back towards the others. He hesitates then looks to the side, not really wanting to look at their faces. "... I'm sorry for all the trouble we caused. But, thanks for... helping us. Even if it was strange." He says quietly. He looks to Bro and Jackie and tilts his head towards Mag. "...we should go. Before he somehow makes things worse."
The others glance between themselves, feeling vaguely uneasy.
"Did we... do something wrong?" Chase asks.
"I-I think it's just weird for them," Jackie says. "Being in a world without all their magic stuff."
Alt's stomach drops as he looks up and he quickly shakes his head. "No no- you..." He knits his eyebrows together, seeming frustrated. "... I feel... bad. That we exposed all of this to you all. After all the things you went through and not havin' seen it before I... I just hope we... didn't make things worse... for you."
Jackie smiles at Alt, Bro, and Jackieboy. "It's fine. It was nice to meet you. Worth all the strangeness, hah. Once Schneep gets back to himself he's gonna go insa—get really excited about the multiverse being real."
Schneep glances towards the three of them as well. His eyes linger on Alt for a second, confused, but that fades away. "Th-thank you."
Alt looks at Schneep and tries to give him a smile, but it looks sad.
Bro puts his hand on Alt's shoulder and pulls him in,
"Hey bro... we couldn't help it. They'll be okay- they're tough guys, even without all our shit. These guys were ready to beat the ever-loving shit out of Mag! Kinda wish we could have seen that-" He laughs.
"Maybe--maybe you can come back sometime?" Marvin says, laughing a little. "I-I mean, I'd like to hear more about all your magic. But, uh, if you can't, or even don't want to, that's fine, too."
JJ looks at Alt and nods sympathetically. Good luck. For what it's worth, I'm glad to have met you, if only briefly.
Alt is quiet for a second but does look a bit more hopeful at Marvin and JJ's goodbyes. "... it was nice to meet you all too. maybe... maybe one day we can come back. ...maybe."
"We'll have to figure that out another day though cuz Mag is gonna have a conniption-" Jackie grumbles.
"Heh." Chase gives them a small smile. "It's alright. This was... weird, but it's nothing we can't recover from."
"Yeah, we've recovered from a lot." Jackie nods. "Least this time no one almost-died."
"I... don't think I-I understand who you are," Schneep mumbles. "But... thank you for your worry. W-we will be okay. W-we are working on things."
"We'll explain everything to you later, Schneep," Jackie promises. "I think you need to process it first."
He laughs. "That is fair. I-I think I need to go back. They will be so worried where I went."
Alt nods and pulls out the TRVLR. He glares at the screen and whispers, "... let's hope this thing actually works..."
Bro lets go of Alt and goes to grab Mag by the front of his shirt and drags him towards Alt and Jackie. Mag hisses like an offended cat.
Good luck, JJ signs again. And goodbye.
"See you again, maybe," Marvin adds hopefully.
Alt nods and smiles a bit more.
Jackie grins, "Good to meet some normal lads, you all stick in there, alright?"
"Bye!" Bro waves with one hand.
Alt grabs everyone and then, after checking again, presses the jump button.
And they fall, as they always do. But their troubles are not over. The ripple happens again, and their course is diverted. Like a hand reaching out and plucking a feather from the air.

A/N: So this was not what I was expecting to write for part 4 of Under the Door... I was going to do something happy but then my brain decided screw that you're gonna make people mad at you. I have no idea why people enjoy this series... and sorry for the long hiatus, i have issues lol.
You finished the case in San Fransisco a few months ago and everyone had made it home safely. Spencer had been back a few months and things were slowly returning to normal, or as normal as they could when your partner and best friend had been through the traumatic experience of losing the love of his life. Since he has gotten back you and Spencer have gotten closer and have been spending more and more time together passing notes. You passed them in the books you shared with eachother, on the togo coffee cups you got for one another and even writing on someones hand when paper was inaccessible. The closer you grew the more that old work place crush from oh so long ago rears it’s ugly head. Something you thought that you had squashed under your boot a long long time ago. one night after a particularly rough case that did not have a happy ending, are alone in your apartment, and you’re pulled into a memory of the first time you and Spencer met.
Taking a deep breath you pull open the glass doors leading into the bullpen. At twenty-three years old you had just barely cut into being an agent at the FBI. You had worked your ass off to get to where you were and you were not about to stop now. You had double majored in psychology and geography during college and went to the academy as soon as you had your degrees in hand. You were smart and capable, and most importantly prepared and trained for this job.
Stepping into the bullpen was like stepping into an alien world, it was very overwhelming at first. You tried to get the attention of some of the other agents but because everyone was doing a hundred million things at once, nobody seemed to notice you. After a few minutes you locate Hotch’s office and he takes you into the conference room to be introduced to the rest of the team. Going around the table you are introduced to Elle, Gideon, JJ, Garcia, and Morgan. Hotch mentions that someone named Spencer is running late. As JJ starts to go over the case you are distracted by the door quickly opening and closing, Morgan is the first to turn towards the door with a smile. Others follow suit including you.  After taking a moment to take in the height of the man before you, your eyes meet the warmest brown eyes and you are rendered speechless. And to the team's surprise Spencer goes silent as well. There is a pause before awkward pleasantries are exchanged and both of you notice that there is only one chair left at the round table, right next to you. You held your breath as he took the seat next to you, JJ resumed her case and you forced your eyes to the front of the room, completely aware of the genius sitting next to you.
Since that moment you became inseparable as friends, and realized that you complimented eachother’s skill set on cases so Hotch frequently partnered the two of you up for assignments on cases. While you befriended all of your teammates, the connection you and Spencer shared was different. And as cliche as it sounds, as time went on you started realizing that you had started falling for your best friend.  You have never told anyone other than a single piece of paper, that you had buried in your bedside table drawer. You didn’t want to ruin the friendship that you had if he didn’t share your feelings, and especially with Maeve you convinced yourself to ignore your feelings and pray that they would go away. And for a time it seemed to work. While thinking about everything that had happened since joining the BAU there was a knock on your door. Forcing yourself off the couch you grumble as you walk to the door, pulling it open. “Hello?”
MEANWHILE
The incessant knocking on his door dragged a reluctant Spencer from sleep. He pads his way to the door before pulling it open to reveal that nobody is there. Letting out an exasperated sigh he peeks his head out to look around the hallways before noticing that there is an envelope taped to the door with his name on it. Pulling it down he immediately recognizes your handwriting. Tearing it open two pieces of paper fall out, one of which is much older than the other. Taking the older slip of paper in his hand he read it over and over again.
Dear Genius,
If you’re reading this letter that means I have either completely lost my mind and gave this to you of my own free will, or Penny found it, read it and passed it along to you…
The words went straight to his heart and soul, puncturing the walls only you could bring down. He could have stared at that letter for hours but his curiosity about the second sheet of paper got the better of him. Tearing his eyes away from your letter he was met with handwriting he did not recognize. The ink used was a dark red that was still wet to the touch, and attached to the letter was a lock of hair, it was a color that he had grown so used to and fond of over the last several years. He took a second look at the “ink” and realized that he was not looking at a typical ball point pen or even fountain pen ink. His heart dropped into his stomach as he realized what it was, blood. Trying not to smudge the “ink” he forced himself to read the words;
Did you miss me? I sure missed you.
P.S. This is a scavenger hunt, I have left clues for you. If you want her back alive, follow the rules. You have 24 hours.
Clue #1
Rain, rain, go away
Come again another day
She wants you to come out and play
Where to hide from the rain?
